But a lot of caffeine and kindness-fueled hard work. ☕💻 www.youtube.com/watch?v=V04z... #indiegame #indiedev #gamedev

unlabelledView post →Pretty sure I read somewhere that this started out as an adventure game (Syberia style), you can definitely see those roots in some of the camera angles.
unlabelledView post →I know I've said it a few times in the past, but Syberia is my personal favorite adventure game of all time. I hope the remake is good 😭.
unlabelledView post →The game is Syberia: the World Before btw. Quite nostalgic to see all the characters.

unlabelledView post →Made a start on Amerzone The Explorer's Legacy and already i can see every bit of charm that a game from the late Benoît Sokal always has. Love the Syberia Easter Egg too when using the phone in the lighthouse.
unlabelledView post →Finished "Syberia: The World Before". What an emotional roller-coaster of a game. Great puzzles, soundtrack, and a very solid ending. The game is indeed an excellent tribute to Benoît's Sokal legacy, and I would totally recommend giving it a try if you are an adventure games fan!
unlabelledView post →I treated Myself with Steam Goodies: Scorn - horror. I know WHAT the game is, so I'm very prepared; Control Ultimate edition since I only have standard from Epic library giveaway; Syberia the World Before (childhood favorite game). Nice to see a new part; New Super lucky's tale - platformer!
unlabelledView post →the first adventure game from Benoit Sokal who went on to make the wonderful Syberia games set in the same universe. a remake came out last year which seems really good
unlabelledView post →What a beautiful game! Syberia: The World Before.
unlabelledView post →I finished playing Syberia: The World Before, and I think the puzzles and game play were kinda mid, but the story captivated me anyway! Wild to continue with a character I met 24 years ago!
unlabelledView post →Interesting poink bundle. Unavowed, Stasis: Bone Totem, and When the Past Was Around are all great. I'm rather lukewarm on the Syberia games but most people seem to love them. The Poirot game looks fun. #Blutoid www.humblebundle.com/games/point-...

unlabelledView post →Heya folks, here's a 4th short featuring Syberia by Microids. I'm closing in on the end of the game finally, the game ends mid-journey and picks back up in Syberia 2. #syberia #videogames #retrogames #adventuregames #shorts
unlabelledView post →Syberia. I know that's well into my gaming career, but I think in games before that, I always just treated it as just as "a game", and not as a world...? Like, Doom etc, they were just like a complicated Pong almost. Syberia was the first time it felt like "a world".
unlabelledView post →Previously, on Syberia 2: we missed the train. The one we were driving, somehow. Game continues from 7PM, twitch.tv/bitparade
unlabelledView post →Syberia was the first thing I thought of too when I read the name! There was also a video game called Cyberia published the same year, and I just learned that a novel discussing virtual reality and cyber cultures was published in 1994. Wonder now if it was in reference to that.

unlabelledView post →Not sure I'd have liked it *as* much if I was playing it on a 2000s PC or home console, touchscreen controls on Switch made a difference. There's the standalone game and a double pack with Syberia 2 on the eshop, and alternating between the two, one or the other is always, ALWAYS on sale.
unlabelledView post →I wrapped up Amerzone last stream, so tonight it's time to start the next game in the series, Syberia itself. Syberia ALSO got a 2025 rerelease, this one in remastered form, so let's step into the next chapter shall we? #gaming #syberia twitch.tv/GordMcLeod
unlabelledView post →I wonder if the old computer game Syberia was a homage to this little cafe. The creator of the game was french.
unlabelledView post →We just finished the last Syberia game. It ended in the best possible way, and I am sad that there probably won't be another one. My husband and I played all of them together starting I think back before we were even married! It was really really cool to see that world with 2022 graphics vs 2002.
unlabelledView post →Gameplay is almost identical, but the original Syberia seems very retro now, with static graphics and awkward controls. The most recent game in the series, Syberia: The World Before is a gem. The remake of Amerzone is also worth playing, if you haven't experienced the original game.
unlabelledView post →Their puzzles rely more often on solving mechanical puzzles, and do not rely on inventory item recombination, but the narrative and dialog is generally excellent. If you want to explore his work, Syberia and Syberia II are first rate; I can recommend Syberia Remastered over the original game.
unlabelledView post →Emily from Dishonored 2, Jill amazing Valentine, Grace from Resident Evil Requiem, Claire Redfield obviously, Tennant from Reverse 1999 (a gacha game I played, lol), Also Arleccnino from Genshin, Kate Walker from Syberia and more. Women are amazing 😭!
unlabelledView post →Oh I never did play this though enjoyed Syberia so much! ... B. Sokal doesn't get talked about in "game designers who have their names on things" that much afaict, I don't really know anything about him like I do McGee or Molyneux et al? Is it just not in English?
unlabelledView post →Didn't know there was a PS1 version of it! It's a neat little game, a bit too short and easy but it makes for a good little thing to play in an afternoon. Syberia takes place in the same universe, the ties are thin but it's a fun little detail
unlabelledView post →Download Codes while with the Syberia set and Outer Wilds set everything was completely contained on-disc, the LIS 5 game set only had True Colors and Double Exposure and the other 3 games were download codes
unlabelledView post →Syberia unfortunately suffers from all the problems an early 2000s adventure game suffers from, and is missing that extra bit of wit and ingenuity present in some of its better contemporaries. It's Benoît Sokal’s art direction and design that really carry the experience.
unlabelledView post →But you know that you shouldn't play "Syberia II" without playing "Syberia I" first, right? I still have a lot of these Hugo game collections. 💜

unlabelledView post →God i have to tell yall. I found a CIB copy of Syberia which is a “game of the year edition” with literally everything in it. The outside has a quote that reads “A Solid Pick”, which is funny as fuck to me. Yeah, whatever. Play the P&C I guess. Weirdo <- games journalism in the 00s
unlabelledView post →I bought Syberia from sale, a game I got to know because I was trying to find new furry comics to read! Came across Benoit Sokal's 'Inspector Canardo', might be my kind of comic! He went on to work in the Syberia -games in early 2000s. Wish I'd found his work sooner, he passed away in 2021...
unlabelledView post →Wish I could. I really need to invest in the train from the game Syberia. Zero emissions, automaton conductor/engineer, and the ability to travel long distances using clockwork springs.
