However, the grind and endless mode, especially for achievement hunters, eventually make it more of a chore than a comfort game. Full Thoughts Positive Points: Aesthetic & Vibe - The game nails that nostalgic Flash game feel in a really charming way. It looks and sounds like something from that era in the best possible sense, which gives the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →who made archery mini game should jump off the roof, from 15th floor minimum ofc
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game, I liked its gameplay loop. Also I liked its Paper Mario style hybrid of idle-battler and turn-based combat. It really flared my arthritis, so I had to return it, but otherwise I would have kept it. <3
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is fundamentally good, the story is engaging, and the characters feel lively and well-written. I especially enjoyed the mini-games at the dojo. However, trying to reach Soulmaster rank in all missions for the related achievement becomes extremely tedious. It takes several hours without offering a significant increase in challenge or variety, you just repeat the same tasks over and over again. The same applies to the achievement “Complete endless stage 120” There’s barely any real…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →They tricked me into buying this for the sake of nostalgia, i havent played it after
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My index finger now has a biceps of its own and my girlfriend aproves. So I'd like to take this opportunity and thank the people over at SoulGame Studio for helping me spice up my relationship. Anyways, the game? Well, you will grind and train in all aspects for countless hours, only to have your a$$ kicked by a Level 50 mosquito. No, YOU suck at videogames! 8/10 - Would stab a kid and actually get paid for it again.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The main story? Fun. Nostalgic to anyone who played the old flash games, and still has that vibe. That said, the endgame is a mess - a ton of achievements are tied to the tower mode, but there's zero balancing going on. It awards you gold for clearing, which is a currency that has zero use by the time you get there. The game grinds to a screeching halt, frustratingly, when it could have been very easy to keep scaling the training upgrades up via gold to make it less of a grind.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was great. The training aspect of it is super addictive and having your character get visibly stronger in battles is cool. I definitely recommend you try this out.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Im trying to 100% this game i really am, but agility training requires the reaction time of an F1 racer. And im not even on the coin tossing b*llshit achievement. Nice game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I just finished. AND YOU SHOULD BUY İTTT. Thats a rare gem. Read the whole plot dont skip it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you played the original flash game, and loved it as much as I did, then this game is an absolute treat. It carries every bit of charm and fun from the first game, while providing more content and expanding on previous features. There's way more of a story, the mainline game is longer, training is far more elaborate, and there are a bunch of other new features that make this one feel like even more than a deluxe version of its predecessor. My only gripe for 100%ing the game would be how…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Everything I loved and missed about flash games. Truly an incredible blast from the past game to grind and enjoy for hours. Also the endless stages are a wonderful touch.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hey so. I just released a game as a producer? If you like Flash games, make sure to pick up the Swords & Souls Legacy Collection... five amazing games in one package! store.steampowered.com/app/3189440/...
unlabelledView post →I remember playing the og Swords and Souls on the Armor Games site and seeing this release. Glad they kept many things the same -especially the museum and the lost children- and revamped the fighting mechanics. Thanks, SoulGame Studio.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's okay. Better version of the original. If you wanna zone out and play a bunch of minigames, then see number go up, go ahead and buy this. I'd buy it on sale, though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I still remember playing the original Soul and Swords and even Rouge Soul on my old crappy pc. And seeing this game and how much it evolved from, it left me impressed. The art style is amazing, so is the soundtrack and the gameplay. 100% the game was a bit annoying (i am still traumatized from archer practice and coin juggling), but overall i LOVED this. Highly recommend. 10/10 Sir Pupset is PEAK character design
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A truly great game that I loved to replay just to try to speedrun it with different builds. There are *a lot* of great ideas in there, and all well implemented. Includes : - turn based combat - real time interactions (block, parry, dodge) - skills and stats building - fun and engaging "mini" games to level up that are so good I'd play them as standalone games - pets ! I've been a fan of the flash game before, thinking it was so good it deserved to be on Steam. But this is awesomer.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Training in anything above gold is obnoxious, the missions become unbearably long and the challenges become downright unfair if you so much as get a single hiccup in performance, which you will, even on newer systems
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nostalgia wasn't enough to make it a game I'd recommend. It becomes repetitive and quickly starts feeling like a mindless waste of time. Not for me.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Juggling that stupid coin 30 times is probably harder than learning to juggle in real life. Would not recommend.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As someone who's played every SOULGAME title since back when Flash was still a thing, I can confidently say Sword and Souls Neverseen is their best work yet. It keeps the addictive progression and simple but satisfying combat that made me love the original game while expanding everything with a bigger world and more polished gameplay. Overall, definitely recommend playing this one.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Boring, no leveling during the fights :/
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its pretty good! its reminiscent of those type of flash games where basically the only goal is to just become more powerful
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The original was my favourite game as a kid, and now this is my favourite game as an adult. a solid game that anyone can play. 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I recall playing this all the way back as a flash game, what a delightful throwback, still wonderfully made, fun to go back and play, but most of all the mini game to strengthen your guy actually working on your reflexes and stuff? More games need to bring this back. 10/10.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Watched the gameplays since i was little, once i got my first PC one of the first game i bought. Its simple yet complex, super fun and easy to get in to and once you finish it, the fun doesnt stop. Definitly recommend.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It does not support controller despite what it says (Xbox X series wireless controller that works just fine with other games)
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its an over all fun experience, but it is only 10 hours, there's an endless mode unlocked after you beat the game but aside from that there's not much else. My complaints are that the training minigames are great when you first start but later in the game, those minigames because way too complicated and thus unfun, there's taming beasts to have them as companions in combat which is a whatever system, and also there's fishing of all things which is not compelling also like in the original game…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →played the original version when i was a kid and was obsessed. this is like that but 10x better. amazing art style, really fun training, and cool characters. Every time i said 'just a few minutes', it'd end up being 3 hours
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Finished the game, was really fun. I liked it. Just like Armorgames
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →whoever invented the archery minigame I will hunt you down! 10/10 game if you forget about the archery
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game but theres no cloud save
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Developer seriously needs to tone down the requirements for the later training things.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So, this is another game that I honestly have mixed feelings about. I do think the pros outweigh the cons, but I still feel there was plenty of room for improvement. The early to mid-game is totally fine, and honestly, the story mode wasn't that difficult apart from the final boss and one or two other fights. The combat mechanics are enjoyable—you can dodge or parry attacks and follow up with a powerful counterattack. Being able to have up to two party members also speeds up the game…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's the classic Swords & Souls made into a higher-production, greater-content video game. The progression is very predictable just like the previous game. Granted, the progression is relatively smooth. If you encounter some form of power spike in the enemies, you only need to train about 3 levels up before you can go back and conquer.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun. I played a lot of "training simulators" on roblox when i was younger. This has all of the fun of grinding a stat to overwhelm opponents, but the training is actually fun in this game. The story is nice and light. The smaller progression systems are cool. My only gripe would be the achievments for the endless mode. 120 combats :( It feels like more combats than the story combined. I recommend playing it tho :D Just... Be careful if you are the 100% type player.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Way too repetitive, all the grinding is painfully slow and boring.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the game overall is really good and I would recommend it, but my save/game got corrupted and nothing I do will let me play the game. I even tried a factory reset and nothing changed.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This what a sequel should be, building upon the simplicity of the first instalment while integrating new gameplay elements without taking out the core concept of the game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So many nostalgia with this game, Sword & Souls are amongst my favorite's in the old flash games era, the gameplay is satisfying, and if you are a completionist this is a good game you can try, the game mechanic is really smooth, progress requires a lot of grinding but it is worth it in getting the completionist badge. though i reccommend you to get this during promo because the content is somewhat short and don't quite made up for the price + the frustration in getting some of the achievement.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its definitely not worth 15 dollars, if you get this game for 5 dollars its a good deal, but there is not enough content to make this game 15 dollars. most of the minigames and features are just straight up taken from the flash game (which you can literally play for free).
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Adventurers, I got like 3, maybe 3.5 hours of sleep last night. BUT, I'm gonna be streaming still. I'm gonna try a new game, one I hope isn't gonna tax me too much. I'll be playing Swords & Souls: Neverseen and we'll see if I've made a mistake with my choice at 9:30 PST! www.twitch.tv/cranag
unlabelledView post →Swords & Souls: Neverseen was a perfect follow-up to Swords & Souls Swords & Souls was a childhood favorite of mine and Swords & Souls: Neverseen did it justice and was a great improvement overall. Swords & Souls was very easy, for both its training mini games and the difficulty overall. The difficulty for Neverseen isn't really there till the end of the story, but endless mode makes up for it, as it ramps up very fast. Training mini games are also a lot harder and get harder much faster. As…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it has swords and souls in neverseen- very honest game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →amazing, brought back childhood memories, couldnt have asked for more along with a pretty interesting story line, short games but def worth it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →she swords on my souls till im neverseen
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →awsome fighting and story but the training is still the best part
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game broke after playing for a day and now nothing works, good game but not worth the risk of it breaking and losing your money
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Incredible game. I get lost in the minigames trying to beat the challenges for hours. So so fun 10/10 would definitely recommend
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a brilliant game which still holds up. Would love another sequel someday.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i played the original back in middle school via the flash player, im just now getting back into it and its soooooooooo good, though the grinding takes forever, i enjoy it i just wish there was more variance
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →good game :] very nostalgic for me
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Настоящее РПГ это гринд, ГРИНД, Г-Р-И-Н-Д. Короче, забавная маленькая игра на фон для эскапизма.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →jestli potkam toho kdo vymyslel agility tak ho pobodam
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A Rare moment where a sequel might be considered better than the original
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →https://youtu.be/F3W50MaSPf0 Success is primarily based on how much time a player is willing to grind mini games improve stats to surpass hard checks.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No RPG, just a cute fantasy setting as background for some nasty, twitchy QTEesque minigames from hell. If you are into that, by all means, have fun. Buuuut, if you are looking for relaxing turn-based RPG time... check again.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i nearly CRIED at the ending pls play it if you don't your missing out also make sure to befriend jinn
