The experience is like trying to set up an electronic device you bought on alibaba but the instructions are poorly translated and dont have the detail needed to be helpful. If that gets your jimmies rustling, you'll love this game. If it makes you feel exhausted, then give it a pass. I love puzzley games, like Outer Wilds, Obra Dinn, and Baba is You. But this one just isnt it. The story tries to introduce urgency through emergencies but it falls flat because…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The spaceship drifts alone through the silent echoes of the vast expanse, and human stories linger gently through the hidden depths of the heart. This space opera engraves the voice of humanity into the silence of the stars. 문과의 서사, 이과의 퍼즐.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I finished the game. And I really want to talk about it. At least briefly. In its essence, Still There (ST from now on) is advertised as a puzzle game, but the bulk of it will be a visual-novel-esque type of experience with a focus on mystery and emotional drama. And the first major breaking point happens right here. The puzzles in ST are a little 'too much', varying from reasonable to utterly racist towards the player; and while I am proud that I managed to solve almost all of them by…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Some of these puzzles were so obscure that I had no choice but to go look at a guide to figure out what to do. The story was fine, but even after finishing it, I didn't care that much about the characters. I think my frustration with some of the puzzles left me at a point where I didn't really care about the story anymore, I just wanted the game to be over. I got it on sale, so if you want to check it out, I highly recommend waiting for a discount. Just know that after that 2 hour mark, there…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This Game left me in Tears. The Story telling is really good and you can‘t really tell whats going on which is leaving you questioning like the Characters you play and interact with. The Ending is so Bittersweet and the emotional fight of the main character is symbolised really well. I loved every minute of this Game. I really recommend it, if youre in the mood for an emotional Game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Puzzles are too confusing and aren't well explained and are illogical at times.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really want to like this game. I'm a big sucker for a emotional story, and I love sci-fi ♥♥♥♥ -- but this didn't deliver in the way I wanted it to. Still There is a point-and-click puzzle game with a quite depressing plot that accompanies it. The general set-up of the game (its aesthetics, the way you interact with the world around you, etc.) is very intriguing, and fun to mess around with -- but the puzzles are unfortunately a real tipping point for the answer of the question "Do you…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Still There is far more than just a space-puzzle game; it’s an immersive study in isolation and human emotion. The developers have crafted a world within the station where every interaction feels heavy with purpose. Key Highlights: Incredible Interaction: The level of detail is staggering. Almost every object in the station is interactive, giving the environment a tangible sense of place and depth. Rational Puzzles: The puzzles are remarkably logical and respect your intelligence. The…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wanted to take a break from EASY dark souls games and play some hard/difficult games. This game is really good. Sure, the puzzles a bit hard... IF YOU ARE A BABY! Joking aside it's been a long while since I've had to use pen & paper when playing a game. The game doesn't do any hand holding. Everything you need to solve a puzzle is in that manual. There is also easy mod for puzzles, which I ended up not using. TL;DR Good story, difficult puzzles. What more do you want? Buy the game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Puzzles didn’t click, story didn’t click. Probably just not the game for me, what’ll you do. Basically 100% of the challenge in the puzzles came from understanding what was expected of me. Once you understand the rules for each puzzle, the solution isn’t too tricky to arrive at. But learning those rules is incredibly tedious — so a majority of the puzzles just aren’t fun at all. At least three times over the course of the game, (one optionally) you have to find objects squirreled away behind…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The puzzles are too obscure and with pretty much no hints whatsoever. It's just no fun to beat my head over a wall or just following a walkthrough without ever understanding how this should have been solved without a walkthrough or a proper in game hint. The story is intriguing but the arcane puzzles make the overall experience rather miserable.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was so melodramatic and boring. The puzzles were alright and challenging but the in-game hints and terminology didn't always clear things up. Basically I would go "What do you mean ? what is that? I don't know what part of the puzzle that is?" I just got very fed up with the station manual for how vague it was and then the story was so sad and boring that it didn't make solving the puzzle pay off
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →They say space is desolate. wait till you play this game. Would be a hard choice if you'd want to be still there doing terrible puzzles or still here wasting time.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Too much missing information for the puzzle solving, the story is not intriguing in the slightest and the whole thing has a certain air of superiority to it. Not sure how to explain that last bit, but it feels pretentious.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The art is very nice and I like that the setting is simple - a single 360 view of a small ship over the course of about a week. Unfortunately the puzzles weren't very entertaining for me, but perhaps that is just a me thing (some simple tasks like making and eating breakfast were cumbersome). I was interested in the story enough to play it to the end, although with a guide so that I didn't have to fuss with the puzzles. I found the sex jokes to be a bit tasteless and unnecessary. It would've…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →funny (or trying to be) 1st-person sci-fi adventure with meaningless dialog choices. you're stuck on a space station and as the protagonist bluntly puts it, have to get ♥♥♥♥ done. routine maintenance with some puzzles, gotta mess with all sorts of dials, buttons, jumpers and the like, even a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ piano. occasionally a simplified version of a puzzle is offered and valid jumper combos are saved, some consolation. then a distress signal, as if dealing with your own loss and weird dreams wasn't…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wow. This game packs some serious emotional punch as it goes on. Some of the puzzles were quite difficult, but I did get figure them out on my own without external help, and there's an option to skip them or something if you don't want to solve them. All in all a worthwhile experience.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A heartbreaking puzzle game with themes of grief and depression. I really liked the story and the music, and the puzzles were quite unique too. Definitely would recommend to puzzle fans, but with heavy topics like these, I'd recommend checking the trigger warnings beforehand just in case.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Seems like a fantastic game, but definitely too smart for me. If the idea of living on a tiny space station surrounded by technical instruments sounds like your cup of tea, absolutely check this out!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A beautiful story of love, with some very touching characters and speech. A fun little (occasionally serendipitous) tumble through some puzzles in a wonderfully drawn environment. A hearty thank you to the devs. Do support this, you won't regret it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm definitely biased because i love space, but i absolutely loved this game. The story itself was very engaging and interesting, and the puzzles were the perfect level of difficulty, which i admit were pretty damn hard sometimes but there is an option to make it easier if it was too difficult. I felt all the emotions playing this and it was perfectly balanced between quirky, confusing, sad and funny. I dont know what else to say other than you should play this, if not for the story, at least…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly I was lost for 90% of this game, but I still enjoyed it anyways. Was a real punch in the gut.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Made me cry. Puzzles were hard but there are hints if you dont mind losing some achievements. Plays great on steam deck using the touchpads.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wow, at times I felt so dumb not being able to proceed with the puzzles. But man what a masterpiece, I was glued to the screen, this is so well done, in all aspects, no hand-holding, super fluid and so many things animated, insane story, impeccable artstyle. All this basically by 3 guys. Freaking masterpiece. Thank you so much for this, this is an easy favorite
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"Still There" is a point and click adventure with beautiful hand drawn visuals, great atmosphere that makes you feel stranded in space, lovely music and an emotional story with surreal moments that blend memories with reality. It throws you inside a space a station where you have to figure out how everything works with only help of a manual and an AI companion. This approach is interesting but can also get chaotic. The actual puzzles aren't that creative and at some point their pattern matching…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You read manuals here! For me it was a mindblowing approach to puzzles!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Without a doubt one of the most touching games I have ever played. The story is deeply moving and powerful, and neither overbearing nor overshadowed by the gameplay. Rounding it out this game is full of legitimately challenging puzzles and wonderful secrets. There is nothing in the game to hold your hand and guide you through everything (undoubtedly a manifestation of the themes of the story as well), but this only makes it all the more satisfying when you finally figure them out! Without a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wanted to play this so bad, but I simply had to give up. I just don't think I was prepared for this many numbers and math related tasks. I suffer from dyscalculia and I would never have bought it had I known, and that is totally on me. But I still wanted to say; because my brain is wired like this, it's sadly impossible for me to play. I'm super frustrated because first of all I hate being faced with my own 'inability to comprehend figures, schematics and numbers', and there is simply nothing…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Management game made up entirely of busy work with an emotional story, this is the kind of ♥♥♥♥ made for me specifically...which is why I'm so sorry I couldn't stick with this game. It violates the very fundamental “time it took me to understand the solution of the puzzle” to “time it took me to actually execute the solution of the puzzle” ratio, entirely due to poor visual communication and word choices. I know some of the clunkiness is thematically justified, but not all of it is intentional.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Purchase, start downloading, go make some coffee, get back to the keyboard, press play, sip some coffee, start new game, sip some coffee more… And then... Find yourself in the morning sitting back with another cup of coffee reading credits. Well played. ... And the game is great.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I can't even describe how truly wonderful this game is. The story is lovely, touching, and full of emotion, tension and humor. The art style and overall look are fabulous. And the gameplay, along with the puzzles, are peak ingenuity. The puzzles are quite difficult, or at least they were for me, but they are tremendously well-made. It may tinker with your brain a lot. And there's still the "simplified puzzle" button, so they don't deter you from progressing if you're having a hard time. The…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Still There is a point and click game about a lone astronaut in a cramped space station doing monotonous tasks. The story bounces from being absurd to depressing and didn't leave me impressed, while the gameplay is pretty much all tasks that are either tedious, obtuse, or incredibly anal, and I don't feel smarter coming out of them. I cannot recommend playing through Still There.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Made me cry twice, and smile in the end. Fantastic, short, point and click adventure with some techy puzzles.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very strange game, which keeps taking unexpected, and surprisingly emotional turns. As a point-and-click puzzle game it is not particularly great, but the overall experience in terms of style, sound, and what it leaves you with definitely are.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →beautiful game please please please play this puzzles are hard but please play it please please please
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a GREAT story with challenging puzzles to solve. Very underrated. I really loved this one.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →even WITH tutorials it's at best, obfuscating to do because you literally scour the entire game for ♥♥♥♥ and then it tells you thats a solution to a different problem like Bro, it would have been faster for me to build an actual amplification circuit on a damn breadboard and jury-rig the thing into my pc's audio lines and make an illegal radio station before I found the same piece of damn dirty titanium on that stupid ship. This is OBJECTIVELY a good game but only if youre a sadist like people…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Clunky af, unintuitive puzzles with a cryptic technical manual (and I play Zachtronics games, ffs). The complexity is completely inorganic to the world Karl inhabits and the narrative the writers were trying to tell. Would have made a much better book, or graphic novel. The "suspension of disbelief device" did not get the full 1.21 gigawatts, I guess.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A surprisingly emotional game. I thought I had a handle on where things were going, but it kept surprising me with its genuine, heartfelt storytelling. This visual novel is interspersed with various technical puzzles, and for the first time, I can say that the puzzles in a game didn't feel like they were for me. I found myself growing tired of trying to understand the in-game manual to figure out which switches and knobs to flip and turn just so I could progress the story I was invested in.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really beautiful story surrounded by puzzles that are mostly the right type of esoteric. Really enjoyed leafing through manuals and hitting levers and switches and buttons! There were a couple of puzzles that just felt like trial and error, but I'm not holding it against the game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Feels like an escape room with lore.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Excellent game! The story is great and had me in tears at some points. The puzzles are hard and engaging (I did have to look a couple of things up) and remind me of Zachtronics' games. This has become one of my favourite games ever. Definitely give it a try if it looks interesting to you.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is magnificent. The characters are very likable. The story is very touching and immersive with all the sounds and visual elements. The music is wonderful too. A new game to my favourites list for sure!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →really nice (and sad) lore, good puzzles, beautiful aesthetics. If on sale this game is worth much more than the money spent
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →wow this was a RIDE oh my god i never expected to get this sad over it also it made me feel like im in hail mary AMAZE AMAZE AMAZE
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i love puzzle games like this. the first puzzle was a little obtuse, maybe another page or two in the manual could assist. other than that, this was a very fun game, and i dig the story. nice work, team
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I didn't expect the story to go that .... deep. Simple tasks, simple day by day issues with everything breaking near you and you being all and every role imaginable, but all that wasn't as hard as the story itself which was to say .... beautiful.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you love challenging puzzles along with story about grief and acceptance? This is the kind of game you should play.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wonderful game, Couldn't play anything else until I finished this. Loved the artstyle, the story and the puzzles were challening but fun. 10/10 recommend
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Had this lying in my library for so long, I even told my BF this was ripening for the moment where I would touch it, until it was nearly rotten. I do not know why I waited so long. I played this for 8 hours straight, without any breaks, without any distractions.. It's.. crazy, almost. No regrets, would play again at a much more distant time in our own future, whenever that exists. Heartwarming story, made me cry, laugh, and not once, and not even 5 times, have the warmest yet most painful…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really wanted to like this game. I gave it a few tries. Unfortunately there's just not quite enough explanation/ clues about the puzzles to the point it becomes frustrating and annoying. I think if they would give you just a tad bit more of direction to help you understand what to do, it might be a great game. It's not fun if you have to look up the answers to puzzles. It's a cool idea and I tried to love it, unfortunately it's just not fun for me.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Trying to play this game is like receiving a package from some unknown person, the contents of which require assembly, but you have no tools, the loose, unnumbered pages of the manual are written in a language you don't understand, the illustrations are based on a previous version, and you have no idea what the finished product is meant to be. Every time a crisis arose, I had a moment of thinking, 'Ooh, this will be cool to solve!' and then I got bogged down in the obfuscation of the puzzle…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gave this game at least three tries bc I generally like puzzle games. Visually, it’s stunning. The illustrations fit the aesthetic perfectly imo. But the gameplay just wasn't for me. The controls feel way too cumbersome. How many tiny buttons do I have to click just to feed Karl a boiled food in the beginning? Everything takes so many unnecessary steps it becomes frustrating. I could see this working better as a mobile game with all the dragging and clicking mechanics, but the execution on PC…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really enjoyed this game. I struggled with a few of the puzzles and had to look them up to understand what a few of them were even asking me to do. The story was really great even if it was pretty sad.
