unlabelledView post →very repetitive shooter, graphics good but all villages etc. totally lifeless except for enemies,.Nothing you can do, no doors open, nothing breakable, would have been much better game if you could have looted villages for ammo etc, instead of generic crate to reload ammo. Every quest the same , only redeeming feature is enemies do try and flank you so you just shoot and move, get out of line of sight and do the same on every mission. Hardest part of game finding your mission objective on a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i got this game on sale, thank the moon. game makes you work for the really long shots (which is good), but an enemey over 1000 meters away with a submachine gun dont seem to any issue locating and then laying down so much surpressive fire that it's not a question of can you kill them all, but if you can kill enough before they finally land enough shots. the movement is also garbage, feels like wading through knee deep water at all times, but you can jump high enough to deal fall damage to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have not played much of this game, but I can already confidently say that this game is somehow worse in most ways than Contracts 1. 1: The saving of the game is even less understandble and usable than in Contracts 1: The checkpoints trigger on certain sections of the map when you approach that area for the first time but then never again. This makes it difficult to save your progress, as you have to progress through an entire area in order to hit a LIMITED TIME USE save point just to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The sniper gameplay is decent, and the graphics are pretty solid—those might be the only two redeeming qualities this game has. Soul-crushing bugs will have you getting stuck in every damn place imaginable: rock crevices, thick bushes, under stairs, between two barrels, you name it. You could be walking along just fine and suddenly you're jammed up with no way out. Infuriating interactions: it'll show you can climb something, but you'll jump at it dozens of times and it just won't grab. All you…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the best stealth & sniper games I ever played, even 4 years after its realise. SGW Contracts #1 and #2 are similar (they also both have a lot of small bugs), Far better graphics, gameplay and non-linear than the SGW original series,

unlabelledView post →I really wanted to like this game, but it’s honestly frustrating more than fun. The sniping itself can feel good sometimes, but everything around it just falls apart. The AI is unbelievably dumb — enemies either spot you through nonsense or completely ignore obvious gunshots. It kills any sense of realism. Stealth feels broken too. You’re supposed to be a sniper, yet you get forced into clunky close combat that feels unfinished and awkward. On top of that, the missions get repetitive…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This feels like a puzzle game played through the scope of a rifle. If you love puzzle games and you love headshots and skill based shooters, this game is great!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Excellent bang for your buck when on sale. Many different gameplays (infiltration, sniping, technical gadgets etc.) realy enjoyed it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Once again they're paying me a lot of money to get rid of shady individuals but now I can do it from over a mile away! Which is 1.6km for logical people! This is good fun!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →> mission to rescue a dude > find his cell > snipe all the outside guards > shoot the single guard inside the cell > hit his grenade > rescue target dies in explosion 10/10 Absolute peak
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Distance defines everything here. Not just as a mechanic, but as an identity. This isn’t close-quarters stealth with a scope on top. This is long-range execution where one bullet travels half a map before deciding your success. The maps are wider. Targets are farther. Mistakes are harder to fix. Sniping feels precise and deliberate. Wind, bullet drop, timing — every factor matters more when your target is a dot on the horizon. And when the shot lands? It feels earned. The game still allows…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Took a gamble on this game on sale. I like FPS but didn't want to get locked into a sniping-only type game. Well, this game is great. It delivers fun missions and wide variety of combat situation, at a good pace. If you like grabbing some binos, surveying a base, and plotting on ways to infiltrate it this game has got you covered. If you like sitting way back on a mountain and trying to pull of a string of ridiculous long shot, this game has you covered. Lots of different play styles…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I can't believe they've released several games on the same engine, yet the mouse movement still feels awful in all of them. Even with the sensitivity turned all the way up, the mouse still feels sluggish and unresponsive. It's really noticeable, especially in a game where precise movement and aiming are important. The checkpoint system also annoys me. Can we please bring back quicksaving like we had 20+ years ago? It was simple and worked great. I honestly don't see why modern games can't just…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Recommended A Significant Step Forward - Solid Stealth Sniping Experience After completing Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 on Veteran Sniper difficulty (3/4), I can confidently say this is a substantial improvement over the first game in nearly every aspect. The Good Starting from where the game shines: the shooting is GREAT. There's quite some variety of weapons that feel and shoot differently form each other. The AI has been greatly improved, and I'm happy to report that many…

I can *feel* my backlog burning a hole in the back of my head 🥲

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Was hoping for a better experience than in the first game - which I got, but the improvement was sadly only so minuscule that I also can't recommend this sequel. The best part about this game is the sniper gameplay - which makes sense, given that this IP is called SNIPER Ghost Warrior. Sadly the enjoyment of the nice sniper rifle gameplay is stunted by the numerous other issues this game has. First off the other positives - the game runs smooth (but my PC is also way above the recommended…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 feels like the series finally refining what it started in Contracts 1, but still not quite breaking out of its formula. It’s a more polished and improved version of the same idea, just not something radically different. The story is still very minimal and mostly just there to connect missions, nothing really memorable. Sniping is again the main highlight. It’s very well done, with long-range engagements feeling more satisfying and precise than ever. The…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →*rubs my hands together* In Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2, there's a bug with precisely ONE takedown animation that turns motion blur ON (normally it's off, and it's not in the options menu). In the previous SGWC, there IS an option for motion blur, but performing any takedown will turn it off!

unlabelledView post →This game gives me mixed feelings... i honestly think its broken. Its really frustrating but its fun. Sometimes its confusing since they dont really show you whats claimable or anything like that, they have markings that hint at it but sometimes its tossed around and the AI is dumb. I like to use tnt to lure enemies away. The explosion can be in a 2 mile radius and they'll go straight to your location. The rock climbing is buggy and you'll die a lot. The good is the gameplay is entertaining,…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is incredibly annoying. After all this years its still riddled with so many bugs, that finishing the challenges is almost impossible without losing all sanity. Enemies see you through walls every now and then, you can't loot mission items from corpses until you reload the game, which can break some challenges, bounties sometimes don't give you the points necessary to buy all rifles (restarting the whole campaign seems to be the only way to "fix" this, if you want the achievement or…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Within my 3.6 hours of playing i noticed more cons than pros and personally i can't find any good reason to spend or even waste more time on this game. Pros: - The sniping is fun (as it should be) and bullet cam feels satisfying. - The game looks good. - The gunplay with the different guns overall is okay. Cons: - The AI is terrible and inconsistent being unable to spot you when you're next to them or almost in front of them, but at the same time the AI might also literally see you through…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very good sniper / stealth game. Nice graphics, very satisfying weapon handling. Very immersive. 8/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I swear this game is f#cking amazing! Literally buy this right now (buy complete edition because it is not that much more in price) If you love the hitman game and love some aspect of Sniper Ghost Recon Wildlands then get this game for sure. I play on the hardest difficulty and I am having LOADS of fun, I swear bro buy this game. If you are reading reviews just stop and get it already, I played 5 hours on my first session because it's THAT GOOD.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great solo game. Great for when you need a break from the multiplayer grind.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →good game, good soundtrack, ai is a bit dumb and inconsistent, but overall its fun
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Solid game. I'm new to Sniper Contracts. I was looking for a proper sniper ''sim'' and first played sniper elite. It was alright but more about stealth than actual snipers. I'm still early game in sniper contracts 2 but I can tell it's quality work. This game is all about sniping. Beginner tip, watch a quick youtube video on how to properly snipe at long distances. The game's tutorial really lacks. And also turn off the red reticle helper for a better ''sim'' experience. Once you understand…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 is easily the best game in the franchise. It takes the good contract-based formula from C1 and improves it in every way. PROS: Extreme Long-Range Engagements: The 1000m+ shots are an absolute thrill and the game's highlight. Excellent Sandbox Levels: Huge, multi-layered maps that reward planning, creativity, and replayability. Focused & Tight: No open-world bloat. Every mission is a curated sniping/infiltration puzzle. Gratifying Ballistics: Wind, drop, and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →They somehow managed to make it play like Sniper Elite & Far Cry. Overall pretty fun game, if you keep crashing when exiting a mission, lowering settings to medium fixed it (for me)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game itself is ok, however having played various missions and autosaved, when you come back to the game to continue you find that you have to redo missions that you have already completed. Having done this to me 3 times so far it the game gets a bit monotonous and this has ruined what promised to be a good game so I have now consigned sniper contracts 2 to the bin and won't be completing it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good sniping game that also has lots of close quarter combat. Loved it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Took me 35h to 100% this game. My biggest complaint is that there aren't more levels. Gameplay loop is fun, but I wouldn't buy it full price. Didn't run into any mayor bugs thankfully.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →1. Hello :) I see a lot of discussions or debates with #gamedev in response to using realism. It seems a lot thinks its a bad thing and I think its a positive thing. I will use two different examples to show this.. Starting with Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 by @cigames.bsky.social
unlabelledView post →It’s a slow Monday here and I spent the day finishing Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 🫡
unlabelledView post →I appreciate that the developers learned from some mistakes and it seems they listened to some legitimate feed-back from the players. The result is that Contracts 2 has improved the 2 greatest flaws of Contracts 1: - they made aiming/sniping easier, because know it's more like in the Sniper Elite series ( with some visual aids ), so that makes sniping and in consequence the whole game much more fun and it helps with keeping stealth, - they lessened their previous stick rule of no game saving…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 delivers a sleek tactical stealth experience that excels whenever you're lined up behind a scope. The standout additions are the new "Extreme Long Range" contracts, which force you to account for wind, distance, and bullet drop from over or more than 1,000 meters away. While its narrative remains entirely forgettable and the moment to moment stealth breaks down if you get caught in close quarters, the vast sandbox maps, graphic slow motion kill cams, and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Definitely the best summer sale game I picked up this year. For just €4, this game is an absolute steal. I never knew this game was this good. I've really been enjoying the sniping mechanics, and the open levels are just phenomenal. Now I'm honestly really hoping for a Contracts 3.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Thanks for another great stream! 💜 Tonight confirmed that I can still hit long range shots. Unfortunately it also confirmed that stealth remains more of a suggestion than a strategy. xD Had a really fun time revisiting Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 tonight! #VTuber #SmallStreamer
unlabelledView post →I would recommend this game, HOWEVER, at a discount. As much as I love games with detailed ballistics and stealth games in general, this one is a bit of a mess. A common bug I've seen is during the longshot sections (1000+ m) where enemies spaz out and die for no discernible reason (or in one mission, the guy you're supposed to be saving). Having to make several difficult shots all over again because enemies just spontaneously combust is painful. Not to mention, in the final mission, I was able…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →really fun and lovely game that is open almost free roam, stealth or loud up to you, 9/10, would be 10/10 if: they made character creation, i get raven is main character, but still. more sniper type of weapons like ww1 ww2 snipers, and some other, maybe even future snipers. add like a free roam type where you can take out outposts gain xp and tokens and unlock stuff. add even more missions and side missions. add maybe a bigger skill tree cause once you max it, you get kinda…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i dont know how this game is rated higher than the first one. the only thing that this game has going for it is somewhat better ai and thats it. abysmal level design coupled with highly restrictive gameplay and you got yourself whatever this is. free roam without freedom of approach is just a terrible idea. who knew
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Each region in the game is its own open-world style sandbox. You're given a list of "contracts" a.k.a. objectives to accomplish, but you're given free reign to choose how you accomplish those objectives. I have 100% (Steam Achievements and in-game progress) all areas in both Contracts 1 and 2 and had a blast playing both to full completion.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 is an excellent surprise and a real success in the tactical shooter genre. The game immediately impresses with its high-quality graphics. The environments are vast, detailed, and highly immersive, featuring beautiful desert landscapes and particularly impressive lighting effects. Each mission offers a great deal of freedom in how you approach your objectives, making the experience both varied and engaging. The gameplay is solid and precise. The shooting…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →More polished experience with better mission design, more tools, and a stronger focus on long-range sniping. If this is your first experience with the series or you’re looking for a simple and enjoyable sniper gameplay, SGWC 1 is a solid choice. But if you want a more polished experience with more challenging missions, additional tools, and a stronger focus on long-range sniping, SGWC 2 is the better. 7.5 / 10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a solid choice for some solo action, perfect for those moments when you’re looking for single-player gameplay with nice graphics and engaging challenges.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The worst part about this game is how fun it is and how time flies by when playing it. Looking forward to #3, the Contracts series from CI Games keeps getting better with each sequel.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I greatly appreciate the gratuitous blood and body dismemberment reminiscent of Call of Duty, World at War.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The enjoyment of eliminating bad guys carries on from the previous installments. Highly recommended.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →When the entire base immediately knows your location each time a single soldier finds you or at least detects something, you know something is wrong. When enemy infantry with AKs reliably hits you even 1200 meters away, you know something is wrong. When you struggle to find a single bullet in a broad level due to disappearing bodies and the mission becomes impossible due to that, you know something is wrong. Even though the setting itself is interesting, the game is far too unforgiving and…

unlabelledView post →worse than the first in many ways but some aspects were improved from the first as well. lets start with the good. the sniping is overall better. you get actual long range contracts about 900 to 1500 meters away. there are a few more gun variety than the first like a bow with special arrows and revolver. and every contract has "challenges" that are 50/50 on if you would deem them good or not but they are interesting to fulfill. and that's about all the good parts i can actually think of...…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →one of the best games that i have ever played. It is better than Sniper Elite4. it makes u feel that you have actually achieved something.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Do you know what an artist and a sniper have in common? Details. Like when a touch of color is out of place, when a shadow does not match its surroundings, or when a shape is not where it is supposed to be. The only difference is the stakes. Mine are higher.
