Just In case people aren't aware Red Shell is a spyware that tracks data of your PC and shares it with 3rd parties. This is an absolutely unacceptable proposition. There is no opt out option and at no point do these developers make players aware that they are tracking almost anything you do on your pc.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Once you get past the pretty graphics at the core it's mechanics and depth are comparable to that of a mobile game. It's a shame as really wanted a good strategy game in VR and preordered this as soon as I was able to. Don't get me wrong, this is a very well polished game; The attention to detail on the maps, the sounds, the interfaces, the cards, the "control" system, moving the table and player position in vr etc. is all great - but the game just lacks interesting gameplay. The turn based…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Easily the most polished VR game yet released, aside from the classics (Job Simulator et al).. does not feel like a "tech demo" or something along those lines, absoutely a well polished, well designed game for VR headsets. Having said that, the content seems quite a bit lacking for the current price -- I could see this becoming repetitive inside a couple of days or a week. I hope now that the core engine and gameplay is in and polished, the developers will look into adding further expansive…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love this game! + VERY polished! + Great voice acting + Cute as all hell + Gameplay is fun + Developer fixes things with regular updates - Could be more deep and complex but I read that they are working on it Here's to hoping it gets better and better!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have always loved a good strategy game and this one is well made. Despite the simple interface and battles you experience, it is made exactly for the current technology available. I don't see a reason to create anything more complicated than what this game brought to the table. As most people are developing "VR Legs" and ability to tolerate a game in excessive hours played at one sitting, it is very enjoyable. For the single player campaign, I have been enjoying it very much. You follow…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you are sick of trying out garbage VR tech demos or proof of concepts, then just spend the money on this game. The markest is so small, and good content is too rare to pass up. You should expect to pay a premium for something on a platform that most people cant even afford to get onto. With that said, stop whining about the price and give praise to this gem.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Skyworld is a great mix of turn-based city management, mixed with real-time strategy and TCG. The controls feel natural as you interact with your miniature world, and the ability to upgrade things as you go allows for some customization between games. Ultimately, the goal is to wipe out the single enemy castle, to take control of theland you're in. You do so by crossing regions, and building resource management facilities in localized areas, allowing you to fund your army and upgrades. The…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very good game! The controls are very intuitive and work without any issues. Standing is tiring but switching to seated is easy due to moveable UI. After playing 2 hours I was not bored by repetition because you are constantly busy and set the pace yourself. I really liked how the game explains the basics and lets you discover the more advanced parts on your own. I recommend this game to anyone into the strategy genre.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is fantastic and worth the money. The game is simple, but has a lot of depth. It is also very easy on the eyes. As a new htc vive owner, I can play most games for an hour at most, sometimes less. I put 3 hours straight in with no issues on this game. The combat is a lot like clash of clan battle royale...but in vr!!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I thought the strategic in this game would be too simple or too easy in the "campaign map". Happily, that's not the case. You are constantly reassign workers, changing taxes and food distribution to manage all the available resources (workers, gold, food, wood, stone, iron and magic). Played for 2 hours, but I already really like it. I hope they will release furute expansions with bigger maps and even more units and depth.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you are looking for a traditonal RTS experience like Starcraft, Warcraft, or Age of Empires... This game will not give you it. I don't say that as a negative thing, but as someone who played a ton of Starcraft as a kid and Starcraft 2 as a teenager in ranked, AI, campaign, etc.... This game is nothing like those. I also played Landfall (Oculus Rift game) that is sort of similar since they market it as an RTS, but it's actually more of a twinstick and this game has a lot more depth than…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've been desperately searching for a proper war-table RTS game. The advertising makes this look like an RTS, but don't let that fool you- it's just a glorified card game. VR is the perfect platform imo for strategy games like Populous- hecc, the original even made it look like you were playing it while standing over a table! Same with Supreme Commander, Black & White, or even Dune 2. I still haven't found someone who's made one that's not a lousy card game. If anyone knows someone that's…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A good game thus far. The interactive U.I. and menu's in this game are AMAZING, feels really cool to navigate your resource management and upgrade cards. Beautiful game, and no doubt fun.. although I have a minor critique. It Bothers me that you start at a disadvantage every level because you must unlock cards with resources. You seem to always start with less than the apponent A.I. which i think is meh. Example, u spend resource to unlock 8 cards lvl one. you go to next level expecting 8 cards…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Day 1: in SKyworld - A unique game RPG / RTS game world with its spinning game/ flipping table. This is a well polished game with shallow depth in terms of battle field size & ability to command troops. Yu simply place them and off they go. no formations or battle tactics involved. Perhpas in an update they might include such tactics. I look forward to the updates.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you are looking for a fun and casual game to play on VR this is it. As a fan of tower defense games I can safely say that Skyworld brings a fresh gameplay experience to the genre. I haven't completed the campaign yet so cannot comment on the length of the game but can say that the four or five missions that I have completed took a few hours to complete.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Followed when it was announced a few years back. The wait was a bit too long but my first impression is I'm not disappointed. It feels like a complete, finished game with a lot of attention to detail. The atmosphere is great, voice acting is nicely done and pulls you right in. As for the strategy, the turn-based part is easy enough to get into, hoping for a bit more depth further on but it's looking good so far. Fights are pretty fun, kinda made me feel like a general which was cool. But it…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this is a great game, and the first of this kind for VR. im still waiting for the language support. the controlls are very intuitive and easy, music and grafics are very nice. only problem i think is the balance, i hope they will fix it soon. if they will care about this game in future and implement some other maps for multiplayer, i think this game will life for a while. i cant understand the negative reviews from ppl with a playtime of half an hour... they complain about lack of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Skyworld, a first person strategy game build for VR. one of the first games in the VR genre which can be played while casually sitting down after a hard day of work, in comparison to the abundance of shooters you'll find these days. The game revolves around two styles of gameplay. First and foremost is an overworld where players take turns to manage resources and build buildings. Second is the combat system which is in real-time. Combat starts when either player tries to take over a piece of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was looking forward to the release of this game for some time, so I sat down to try it out upon release. My first impression after completing the first level of the game is positive. The game presents itself as a standing game with the possibility to move around to see the playing area from a different perspective, which in general I like in a VR game. After a long day at work sitting down to play felt nice too so I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I could lower the playing area to…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is one of the greatest VR experiences I've had. All the models are well made and cool to look at, and the backgrounds are nice. The little things such as models clipping thorugh your face as you hold them close is not a problem. The gameplay is also really fun and a nice mix of turn based and RTS. The game menus for resources and building is great. They are really 3D and you can move them around however you want. I personally like having them form a ceiling so I can just look up and use…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A great new Idea for VR , Taking old school RTS games and mixing it with a few little card battles. Really great game I could reccomend it to anyone and could play for hours, I haven't yet won a match maybe im ♥♥♥♥ but this game is so well polished the abilty to move the table and menus around means you can really get comfy and lost in the game. I paid 25% less for this game but would deffo pay full price, if you'd like to see a bit more footage i've uploaded a gameplay video to reccomend this…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A nice little gem and well made, but it seems to lack depth - which is a pity. Like many other VR games it remains more a kind of mini-game, i cant see me play it for much longer than a couple of hours. But will give it another try.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Would be a great game. I like it a lot. But the glitches are ruining it. The problem that the index controllers grab function did not let go stuff was only the tip of it. I solved it, by disabling the grab and use the trigger instead. (And still the right trigger let the left hand grab. At least not vice versa.) Then here and there glitches show up like the finish button remains pressed. So you cant finish the round. Or during the fight you place units elsewhere - they dont show up on your…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very nice game, but no one plays it. I bought it for multiplayer, and haven't had an online match yet.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game! Its nice to see a polished Strategy game coming for VR. Cool take on the card based combat and base building. Usually not a huge fan of the turn based aproach, but it works in Skyworld.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →From what I've played so far, It's brilliant. The style, graphics, gameplay and sound (voice/music/effects) are all very well polished. I can see what people mean when they say it maybe lacking in depth, but don't let that put you off what is a great VR experience. So much potential for them to build on here, Adding more unit cards, different spells, options to buildings etc would be nice, also more factions for gameplay dynamics? Hopefully they listen to the community with this as they…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Skyworld was pretty boring. The UI interactions are novel and clever, but the actual game mechanics are so bare bones and unengaging, I had to stop playing after 15 minutes. I decided to give it another go a couple days later, and still felt the same way. This wasn't for me, this has the depth of a simple mobile game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think it's a well-made game, visual and also in control. This game is clearly made from the ground up for VR! I love it! The style is consistently implemented and you are quickly immersed in a cozy world. I quickly lose time in this game. I've been in this game for over 10 hours, there's enough challenge and variation for me to put more time here. This game is a pleasure to play, much better than all half-finished games in early acces. finaly. I can not really find myself in the reviews…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Skyworld is a beautiful tabletop game that has fun managment gameplay and intense tug of war battles! The "Table" is always moveable and rotatable so you can play comfortably with any kinda play-space. This also allows you to get in close and see the beautiful environments and assets. There is a lot of life and animations going on that are very tiny and require you to really lean in to appreciate which really makes you smile! I love how the Demons look their buildings and character designs…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like the game but there is a big problem. The game is buggy and crashy like hell. In 2 hours of play it has crashed 2 times without errormessage. So even tho I played 2 hours I have to replay the 2nd lvl of the campaign for a 3rd time. And if you got Valve Index controllers 50% of the times you use the force grip in the handelse to grab stuff the game dose not register that you have released, so you have to wait up to a minute for the game to let go of stuff. Don´t buy this game as it´s not…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →♥♥♥♥ doesn't work on the index controllers. You get stuck on grabbing everything and the game will just randomly decide like 10 seconds later oh yeah you did let go, not after you just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ moved the board to where you wanted and then right back to the wrong spot because the grip is stuck on. Absolutely no fun to play now.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Are you tired of switching games every 15 minutes from boredom? Looking for something to really sink your teeth into, that is complete, polished, and pretty? Well here it is! Yes, it's expensive, but you get what you pay for. This is a complete game, where you can tell attention to detail and thought went into each aspect. You can move the play area around (and play seated or standing). Switching between campaign elements "flips" the table which takes it away from a generic menu…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Took me awhile to get the hang of it, but the nice visuals and cute characters made me pull through. I like the combat and the tactical empire building and just to lose myself in that fantasy world. The best strategy game I played since.. Command & Conquer Red Alert!

That is always an awesome staple (or gimmic, judging on your view point) of VR games. Can't wait to see the different unit types! I definitely recommend to anyone who is interested how stategy games can be applied in VR. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tPQcVevxSgA&feature=youtu.be
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great tabletop RTS. Campaign mode tutorial is very well designed. I have not played multi-player yet. Using Quest via Virtual Desktop - I have had no bugs with the game/interface.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Im going to be real, the game looks very good, and the idea is great, but this game's mechanics are rivaled by most free mobile games. I stg clash of clans has 10x better gameplay that this garbage.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Needs an expanded map and multiple people to fight.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simple but fun and well polished
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I can't give negative review for this game, because it is a fully polished game which is immensely rare for a VR title. And it is very fun but the difficulty levels are unbalanced for a card style beginner. I could barely win the second campaign map at the very easy level. I know I am not the smartest man on the planet, but it can easily destroy your willingness to play if you are not that determined as I am. I think at very easy difficulty, you should be able to beat the enemy without any…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not the biggest fan of the game mechanics but that's subjective. From a VR enthusiast perspective this game has a ton going for it. The war room experience is absolutely awesome and the skeuomorphic interface is extremely interesting. Definitely worth a purchase if you want to experience something a little different.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's more like a board game than what you'd expect from a PC strategy game. In my opinion that is a good thing. It's easy to understand and I found it to be really enjoyable. Eventhough the mechanics are very different it reminded me of the joy when first playing settlers 2 on the Amiga 500.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Didn't seem like much there. The battles were fun, but repetitive. During my test I quickly got stuck with no resources and nothing to build. I'm excited for a nice strategy game in vr. I hope things improve and i'll try again.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →id give it about 5 out of 10. one of the bad features, is that bloody table flipping over all the time, makes me queasy whenever it happens (and im not usually VR-sensitive). Moreover i think the movement in general should be overhauled (see: Tethered). You need a way to easily move around (shrink down, scale up the world, rotate etc.) because the current way is frustratingly finicky, uncomfortable. The flippy table would be much less a nuissance if i could shrink it down. Encountered a few…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has no manual so if you miss something in the tutorial then your screwed. Not to mention the insane difficulty spikes. It seems that alot of the systems are pitted directly against you. For instance your generals have -40% to start each level even in thier own territory. If you go into the enemy territory then you get a -65% power debuff. Yet in your territory their generals have a measly -10%. This game doesnt explain any of its systems beyone the most basic. Like the general…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little turn based strategy that turns into a push of war type rts
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Clash Royale VR with some turn based overworld research and resource management thrown in. Not a grand strategic game that will last you tens of hours, but fun nontheless. Will update review once I have tried the multiplayer.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The idea is nice but that's about it. I'm missing any real deeps to the gameplay. The game tries to imply that there are a lot of options on the map but there really aren't any valiable. You have to make like 2 decisions about what you prioritise and from there it's just end turn until the things you want are done. The battles are the same, acting like there is any depth but sadly the KI isn't up to pair I feel. With a fixed hand for you, and a KI that always does about the same thing, I can…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Buggy and unsupported.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A decent game held back by technical issues and a lack of features to make it stand out from free games available on mobile devices. VR doesn't really add anything meaningful to this genre and thus can feel like a gimmick. Some may like it, but I don't find myself spending my time here.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Can't recommend it at the moment for multiplayer, have been trying to play multiplayer but the game have crashed in the middle or close to the end of every game. I can still see the other player moving around but none of the actions done in game actually happen, then a minute or so passes and the game crashes. Some sort of "sync error" according to the game. Steam voip worked through the crashes so connection should not have been an issue. I will update my review if I get it to work properly.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a lot of fun and probably one of the best VR titles in my library along with Elite Dangerous, Star Trek Bridge Crew, and Chess Ultra. Everything is just very well thought out for VR and it really is a joy to play. Tough to say what it is like. It is a mix of turn based and real time strategy with some card mechanics during battle. This is so good it has me hoping someone will develop other "tabletop" style wargames or games based on old isometric RPGs.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I must say this was totally worth the $14 I got it for, I am not sure about the higher base price. I love the interactibility of the world and honestly think it needs more. It is fun playing with the trees(never thought I would write that), but there are some things that could be added to make it feel even more alive. Like the minecart looping around, or with the player being able to push it. And also if the buildings had workers running around outside that maybe would run from your hand.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →very good game but if they had made it like a warhammer with all the different factions that would made it a amazing game apart from the lack of different armies to choose from its really good fun but maybe they will add more or even a system were u can select cards ure self with different ones or even impliment a unlocking system to unlock more by playing the single player or even unlocking achivments to unlock new ones would give the game more longer playabiity...but as the first vr…
