60 of 175 · most liked firstDon't really understand why this game is so highly rated. Feels extremely unfinished. Pickups are literally just placeholder spheres Crosshair reticle and bullets do not match up Bomb shoots 90 degrees SIDEWAYS from the direction you are facing Enemies seem to spawn with no regard to your position, meaning sometimes right behind you No variety in enemies You often randomly die at 100 health from what I assume is enemies spawning on top of you You can get stuck on debris from blowing up walls…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Kinda like a FPS Pac Man This is another one of them little time killers ! The game is like Pac man and the movie The Running Man lol You need to run around blasting all that moves or blast anything in your way. You then collect the orbs White Points , Green Health and Red Rockets. The Dev or Devs are still adding and Tweaking it atm but it runs pretty sweet as is. I think for the $0.99 cents price tag this is one you might want to pick up and im sure in time they will add more but if not its…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Alright, so I'm no writer or anything but I like voicing my opinion when I find good games, and this, is a great game. PROS: 1. Cheap 2. Fun 3. Great for non gaming pc's 4. Lightweight download 5. Unlimited Ammo 6. Ability to slow down time 7. Rage inducing (which I personally like in a game) 8. Distructable enviroment CON: 1. No Invert mouse option 2. No in game menu 3. No weapon shop or costumability 4. No Multiplayer 5. No Multiple game modes, some would be Survival, Hardcore, Multiplayer,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Showtime 2073 is an absolutely baffling videogame. The more I think about it, the more confused I get. Trying to make sense of this ridiculous product, has led to me pouring iced tea in my ear, while putting my shirt on one leg at time. On the surface it's a futuristic first-person shooter. No wait, I take that back. It's actually a futuristic game-show... game, like Smash TV. In order to win, you have to collect all of the orbs, while destroying robots. Oh, so it's like Pac-Man with guns? No.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its Pacman, with guns. What more can you ask for?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Showtime 2073 is an odd mix of old school FPS and Pacman. We play as a nameless protagonist as he picks up a certain amount of pellet each round all while being chased by tons of astronaut looking fellows out to beat the crud out of you as the crowd cheers on. No explanations for anything is given, just press enter to start the game and take too long to question just what is going on and you'll get karate chopped into oblivion. You can take up to 5 hits from these human enemies and while not…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →does what you would expect for 99c improve damage feedback, to make the player understand what killed him (probably give a chance to react), add some skills and/or equipment management elements and the game will be gold.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Explaining the game is simple. You walk around, kill enemies with Unreal Engine asset flip weapons, evade them, and gather balls just like PacMan. You advance to the next level after you have collected every ball. After that, the same thing keeps happening. The soundtrack rapidly grows stale, and the levels are barely varied. Regardless of the visual settings you experiment with, it frequently stutters. It seems like a slowness because of the jerkiness. There is no variation in the game; it is…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The concept of the game is pretty good and has a nice ideal pacman fps style but everything about it, is bad and poor. Devs abandoned the game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Normally I would stay away from first-impressions, but until some major content is added in (as well as tweaks to annoying mechanics) I can't recommend you buy this game even at its low price. With some improvements and additional content, SHOWTIME could become the addicting arcade hybrid of Painkiller and Pac-Man it wants to be. Disclaimer: This is a review copy supplied by the developer to [url=http://steamcommunity.com/groups/ProGGamingCommunity]ProGGaming. Another Unity Asset Game? I…

Wait, no, that's not right. Oh, yeah - SHOWTIME 2073. Showtime 2073 without a doubt draws inspiration from the aforementioned yellow dot-gobbler. Armed with what almost feels like a fully automatic version of the flak cannon from Unreal Tournament -…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unfinished crap. Doesn't even have a proper gamemenu, and the game slows down randomly, and that's totally annoying. Definitely don't buy it!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was absolutely terrible. You can glitch out shooting, by holding left click and alt+tab. Now you can sprint and shoot. I cannot recommend this as long as robots spawn on top of you sometimes, you can get randomly insta-killed by the electric fence even though you're not even close enough to collect the spheres, and getting stuck inside of the destructable walls so you can't move while the robots beat you up. All in all, the movement sucks, especially jumping. If you're mid-sprint and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice small enjoyable shooter game. I think it is a great combination of halo and pacman. It really fun to play when you are killing time. Also the developer seems to be very communicative and amazing.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Smash TV meets Quake meets Pac Man Starring: Solid jump and shooting mechanics! Destructable environments!!! Fast paces!!!! Excellent price!!!!! Also Starring: Glitches! A repeating techo tack!! No feedback as to what kills you!!! A massive drop in the frame rate whenever you sustain fire for more than two seconds!!!! Guest Starring: The graphics aren't too bad looking for what it is! The critics agree: A decent amount of fun for only 99 cents, but not without its frustration.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Doesn't take long to realize this game is garbage. Thankfully I purchased this in a bundle. The game play itself is fine, but in the short time played I kept getting killed in 1 hit at 100% health from enemies that appears to spawn right on top of you. There's nothing you can do and it's completely random when it happens from what I could tell. Save your money and stay away there are much better games out there.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →SHOWTIME 2073 Review - Rating: 6.2/10 General Impression SHOWTIME 2073 is a relatively nice action-based game. The graphics are pretty nice, the textures are also well-designed. The atmosphere happens in 5 arenas, which will slightly differ. There are many walls, which are breakable, even the floor is breakable, and the borders cause damage if you hit them, be careful. You can’t destroy the borders so you can’t escape of the damage given by them. The audio is pretty nice, I like the sounds of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →8/10 Would watch to quench futuristic bloodthirst The game makes you feel as if you're a simple man (Most likely named Daniel Matrixx or sth) that was framed and forced to contest in a Sunday Night gameshow on a psychotic cyberpunk future; and it is amazing. Half naked women dance in glass cages while running dudes with spikes in their hands, autoturrets and the terminator-like machine that couldn't do stairs in Robocop try to kill you as you run around and blow ♥♥♥♥ up. +Fantastic time…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game had a lot of potential and I believed in it. However, since its very launch, the developer keeps promising a very much needed update and he never delivers. Cool as the concept may be, the game is basically unfinished, with very basic functions still lacking and a gameplay that seems just a proof of concept but doesn't really go anywhere. If you look at the message board, you will see that for more than a year, everytime there is a sale or some other event, the developer will come…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I get the impression from this small but fun game that the dev is actually quite talented . To be honest i prefer games with a story to follow and some rpg elements but there is no doubting that the guy behind this game will probably do well in the future.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Excellent arcade game. Mostly polished, utilizes unity's physics for entertaining destructible environments and ragdoll, and very enjoyable gameplay. This game is underpriced at .99 The developer also seems very responsive, and I have high hopes for future updates.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cheap Unity trash.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Seems like this got about 75% done and the dev said "meh; good enough" and walked away.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In a nutshell? Like Pacman with guns! In detail? I didnt exactly know what to expect when I got this. I was in the mood for a new shooter, I saw this on the steam store by random chance. I went to the store page and saw that it was two dollars. I then proceded to immediately buy it without regards to what the game was like. I was not disapointed. The lack of a proper main menu was a bit of a boon but then quickly overlooked by the amazing gameplay. This game relies heavily on mechanics rather…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For a dollar it will give you good fun. Pros: Graphics Music Sound Simple Optimization Cons: Glitches that cause me to snap my wrists The destructable walls dumb rubble at your feet which you cannot move through so you become trapped and die. You also cannot jump while in the rubble. Shooting the laser causes really annoying slowdown which breaks the flow of the game. You will randomly die for no reason. I died 3 times without enemies hitting me as I was simply running. Its still decent…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun tech demo and music is pretty cool, but can't say much else about this one. Basically it's unfinished at its current state but, still feels kinda fun to play it for a while. It would've been actually not bad if there were more stages and some sense of progress, so at least lets hope leaving this review will grab developer attention to make a better game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This would be a fun, little distraction if it wasn't so badly put together. The basic structure is that of Pac-man; you go around in a maze and collect orbs to finish the level. Only, instead of ghosts, you fight robots. The game's issues become apparent almost immediately. Every time I shot an enemy the game was hit with crippling slowdown. This slowdown appears to be intentional. It was a poor choice. On top of that, there is no indication that enemies are running up behind you. They…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →[url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asset_flip]Warning: Asset Flip! "SHOWTIME 2073" is a Digital Homicide style asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store packs, dumped them all in a blender, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers. It's important to also note the "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →SHOWTIME 2073 cons: self damage. too few maps. difficult gameplay. gameplay becomes uninteresting after a few minutes. sucks.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →SHOWTIME 2073 You play as ORB Man, a silent protagonist banished to collect orbs in a battle arena.. knowing one day he will collect enough to buy his freedom.. His thoughts of his family carry him on, missing the memories of the year 2069, the great robo 69ing of 2069. Where he met his beautiful wife/ living can opener, Robota. There.. now you have a back story.. f*cking hate when a game gives you zero story, why is orb man there.. why are robo d*cks chasing you, why does your gun go into…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →https://youtu.be/v9W9cfI7Bzw Limited player feedback will result in most deaths being a mystery and unable to provide guidance on how to improve play. Limited level and visual design quickly drain the desire to keep playing.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Kind of "meh", basically 3D Pac-man FPS as others say. The "ghosts" constantly run straight at you though and you have a gun to shoot back at them. I tested it on my Linux PC to see if "any" is really true for the system requirements. It has a Pentium D 830, basically the prototype for dual core CPUs. There was some lag and slowdown during gameplay, even at minimum settings (GTX 750 Ti for gfx, 5GB RAM) So i recommend a generation newer"Core Duo" or better and not a Pentium D. (If anyone is…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Could've been fun for an hour, but the game freezes ruining the experience. Avoid.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The elements of the game system are very basical and simplistic. You fight with unlimited number of enemies with two weapons (one assault-rifle-like laser gun and one rocket launcher), while trying to obtaining 100 orbs in the maze-like map. The enemies come out of no where, and your very fragile, so I felt boring and gave up after 10 minutes.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played this game for about a hour. I went upto level 3, then hit 'Esc' key by mistake, and the game closed. When i opened it backup there were no saves for this game, so i had to begin from the start. Pros: The game is very much fun Procedureally generated game Cons: No Pause game menu No save system, atleast a levelwise save system would have been sufficient Only 5 music, which repeats on loop the entire game The Electrified fence takes out lots of your health on contact, resulting in a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →GelogenicGames here reviewing a new game by one developer. Now, i have seen your reviews and think that you should not complain. If you do not like playing recently released games, what is the point. It is in development sure, but this game has a lot of potential. Dont you think? I'm just an Alpha Tester and before taking the role of an Alpha Tester, i did think about it. This game is potentially satisfying but i have my own feedback for the developer. If you rate thumbs down, what will happen…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →PROS Good rush Easy to learn, hard to master Atmospheric, in spite of being a shallow game Good for short, intense runs Nice music It's the year 2073. There's nothing people like better on tv than a show that has a plasma gun armed contestant placed on a electrified walled maze, filled with killer kung fu robots, and, basically, act like pac man.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My Showtime 2073 Video Review: https://youtu.be/NxdAdfzK8qA Quite an original idea to combine a first person shooter with Pac-Man mechanics was buried under the big heap of negatives that this game has. I don't even know what irritated me the most - absence of any story, totally repetitive gameplay, boring and generic level design, enemies respawning from nowhere, still the same environment changing just two types of levels, unsatisfactory effect of your weapon, absence of any elements that…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →found this while looking through my e-mails (from oldest first) release date : 12 Feb, 2016 depots update : 13 February 2016 (1650 days ago) day I bought : 7 Jun 2016 This is the only mostly positive game from the dev it gives the depressive and nostalgic feeling. It feels unimportant
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not too bad of a game. Very basic. Good for when your bored and all other games seem boring. Like doom but only plasma gun. Nice.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good proof of concept, but I don't know if its much more. Its fun, but some poor decisions keep it from being where it wants to be.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If this is the entertainment show of the future, we got a worrying development ahead of us. A looped Electro track, cloned enemies that kill you with a few hits, weird hitboxes and shooting as a terrible "emergency only" idea because you'll eventually just hurt yourself. Outrunning isn't an option either, but I still managed to get 98/100 orbs - I simply didn't care for the last two. Neat for a few minutes, but spending money for this is asking too much. The Pacman mechanics really didn't need…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought this game ages ago and finally played it. Let me tell you the pros and cons of this game. Pros:- Despite only one song, the song fits the theme of the game and never gets old in it's unqiue way. - I'm always kept on my toes and always needing to look behind me to make sure no Ai is after me. This game randomly spawns ai. They can come out of nowhere. - it's a unqiue shooter. i find the concept of your lasers bouncing off walls to be rather fun. Cons - Ai is bland and will…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →NOT WORTH BUYING! This game is truely trash. Serios Sam meets Pacman and the both got a gay baby. a real asz-born baztard... OMG this game is so damn bullsh!t that it hurts. GGWP devs steam greenlight failed again. This game is not worth any cent. This isn't even a game this is a test-enviroment for a engine (which seams that is not selfbuilt) i suggest to delete this 'game' for ever
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Would be interesting if firing was a lot better - bullets come out not out of the gun, but some distance ahead, and a lot lower than the reticle. Rockets move ahead only if you are stationary - if not they come out of the side for some reason... There is also a constant slowdown (no idea whether it supposed to be some bullet time thing or not, but its annoying). Lastly with this list of problems : Rubble brings you to a shuddering halt.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is great game if your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bored out your mind, very unfinished, needs to be patched a bit, and very repetive. I would recommend this game once its finished and patched a bit more. 7.5/10
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →BORING, UNINSPIRED, and enemies spawn randomly around you - which doesn't seem bad until you realise they just spawn 20 feet behind you in a closed corridor that you just cleared. Same enemy, endless waves.... you gotta collect the packman dots to get to the next level.. which is the same as the first level. Oh, walls are destructable, but you don't have time to destroy them.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →a simple, fast paced, arcade-ish fps. it's ok
