positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Currently a seemingly common bug in Co-op where a bridge doesn't work properly, making it impossible to finish the level and progress in the game. Bug has been reported multiple times since 2022, but no fix. Regret buying to play with my wife, even on sale.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a great game for two people. It requires high levels of collaboration, coordination, and puzzle-solving as a duo. It's a fun and enjoyable journey because, despite the high death rate, the game is fast-paced. It's based on continuous change role-playing and mutual dependence. It has four worlds, and the levels increase in difficulty each time. The graphics, although simple, are cute. You can choose to skip the collectibles and challenges, but part of the fun is completing them. In fact,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So buggy Better go for other coop puzzle games like Biped, Bybond or Popucom
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very cheap and boring game that doesn't generate any interest even in co-op.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No idea why so many people here are complaining about minor bugs. The game is from 2017 and hasn't been updated in years. It's not AAA studio behind this... Awesome, 10/10. Bugs are funny. And to those crying.... get good.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Garbage game. Bought it for a friend and myself - we got to watch a cut scene together and then got kicked back to menu.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is good and especially fun if you play with the right person Also underrated 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Imagine if you and a friend were two wobbly blobs that could only solve puzzles by swapping places—sounds like a recipe for hilarious chaos, right? That’s exactly what Shift Happens delivers! Get ready for a riotous blend of teamwork and physics-based mayhem, where every shift and swap turns into a comedic adventure. Ideal for those who love their platforming with a side of giggles and gooey fun!

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I usually don't write these type of reviews, but this game pissed me off too much. Highkey buggy af! >Controls so BAD I slide off edges and bounce for no reason on platforms in certain puzzle parts where you jump across accid... > We had a problem in a tutorial level too, where for the host I didn't appear to be teleporting away and we had to retry it a handful of time >THE BIGGER PROBLEM we couldn't even finish the lab section, because the bridge level is too buggy! Sometimes the bridge lowers…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The idea of this game is very interesting and cool, but the execution is terrible. The game is riddled with bugs, making it difficult to complete. If you're playing against the clock, it's like a lottery where luck can smile on you at any moment. And the storyline is so-so. It's also worth noting that the solo and co-op modes differ, which is perhaps one of the game's few positives. My rating: ✭✭✰✰✰
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Buggy as hell, repetitive and stale level design, no coherent story to divert one from the pain. For unknown reasons, the lives system is persistent through levels, and granted the nature of the game, one receives about one to two chances to complete each level before each death results in starting one over entirely (includes retrieving the tedious collectibles again).
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Shift Happens is the type of game that makes you question the laws of physics, friendship, and personal space—especially when you and your partner morph into hilariously oversized blobs trying to solve puzzles in a world that doesn’t seem to care how much you mess up. This game is essentially a giant “Whoops, that wasn’t supposed to happen!” wrapped in a colorful, physics-driven puzzle platformer, and it’s an absolute blast from start to finish. The premise of Shift Happens is simple: you and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Do not play this if you are not play couch coop. The games net code make the controls so unresponsive that it is unplayable unfortunately. Otherwise likely a fun coop game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game has game-breaking bugs. Bridges sometimes fall in the opposite direction and most of the time only for one player. There is also a bug that somehow makes your character the same as your partner. Both of these usually make the level impossible and require a restart. The game uses a heart system that is ok in theory but when you lose them due to the issues mentioned they cannot be recovered. When the game is running as intended, I imagine it's quite fun and rewarding, but that…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is the first game I see where singleplayer is a lot harder than coop, because in singleplayer you have to control both characters yourself lol And if you are trying to beat all time records it is petty hardcore if you ask me. It's the kind of game where you lose hundreds of times until your fingers start repeating input patterns so fast that your brain can no longer make sense of what's happening. While online coop is buggy like hell, and 50% of times we had to restart the level because…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's *extremely* buggy
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The first world of this game was really enjoyable and i had a lot of fun with my friend, then the second world came and we ran in to SO MANY BUGS. Getting stuck, one door is not opening (Door is open for P1 but is closed forP2 and then you need to restart), the catch and throw system bugging out to the point where it's unplayable and timing is impossible, there is a delay between each player that make it impossible to time something visually. The second world was lacking new stuff, but we…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ну, с пингом игра непроходима, охуеть. Слишком жёсткие временные рамки, из-за которых погибаешь просто так в воздухе или в руках союзника.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The basic mechanism of being little or large drives this game with a variety of interesting problems and puzzles to get through. Nothing too tough, but the interactions are a joy as you work together to get to the end of each area by flinging your partner across obstacles whether they like it or not and watching them die to the foreseen dangers.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →-Quick Review- Shift Happens is a 2d puzzle platformer developed by Klonk Games and released in 2017. I saw a puzzle game with an orange and blue protagonist duo solving puzzles in a laboratory… to be completely honest with you I was hoping for a puzzle game like Portal, what I got on single player was a multi-task challenge, and on Multiplayer I would explain the solution and my partner would struggle to adjust to the controls. Review Video: If you don't like reading, or are curious about…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Normal idea but the implementation is not so good. The controls and design are somewhat confusing. Some timings are awful like when you try to catch the cube falling down from the ceiling. And there are frequent senchronization bugs in multiplayer. Played with my wife in gigabit local network - got a gamebreaking bug with the bridge. No way to move it, only restart the whole level. Portal 2 and It Takes Two are much more polished for multiplayer. Will try to beat the game further but don't…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Stopped playing after one hour, my eyes, my cheek bones, my throat, are all suffering... Be sure to be hydrated and as far as possible from your duo to avoid physical pillow damage..
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a great game to play with a GOOD friend, who is not upset if you yell at them. the game is a great puzzlesolve game with some clutch jump and run tasks.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game. Compares to portal series in goodability.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The idea of this game is very fun for CO-OP in theory, but the execution is horrible since it is full of bugs (bridges breaking for 1 player and not the other so it's hard to proceed, also both characters become the same size on 1 player's screen and the PICK UP mechanic won't work) and it has the annoying HEARTS system that resets the whole level if both you and your partner die at the same time.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty funny coop game with friend. We have a lot of fun. Some mechanic and design are very interesting. A little concern is that there's a lot of bug on ping and internet issue which make it pretty annoying sometimes. Other than that It's a nice game though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Shift Happens is a co-op puzzle platformer game where you and your friend play as Bismo and Plom who have to work together to solve puzzles in this platforming adventure using their jelly like powers Graphics- Okay Soundtrack- Descent Audience- Teenagers Difficulty- Decent difficulty Story- descent story Game time- Not too long Price- It's not too expensive 6/10

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →shift happens A bit boring, I didn’t find the gameplay compelling enough to continue playing.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a nice coop game. Not as good as "it takes two", but it's enjoyable. There can be some bugs but not a big deal. I overall recommend it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →a lot of glitches couldn't even finish the levels because of it
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very Fun and Cooperative. Make sure you are playing with someone good unlike my mom so you dont restart a lot
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →10/10 game very rizztastic
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Delightful end game credits screen! But late levels are tedious and lack the fun of couch coop puzzlers like Biped.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun little co-op game where we solve 2.5 D puzzles by throwing each other or catching each other. Pushing levers or moving boxes to make way for each other. Very simple yet head scratching levels here and there and is really fun to pass some time. 100% recommended.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game made my brother hates me I don't know why ( I stole all his money ) but I like the graphics and the puzzles in this game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's all fun and games competing against your friend and trying to get the most points in the first few levels, but after that it's a tragedy, and you have to actually work together to get through.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Multiplayer doesnt work at all Cant even play with my wife
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a great team building game I use with my niece who has little friends. I point out when she leaves me behind and forgets about me and to remind her to always think about her teammate before making a decision. We start over a lot, but the game is still fun and engaging and still difficult for adults to figure out.
