Shadow Gambit Developers Mimimi singlehandedly revitalized the stealth strategy genre when they released Shadow Tactics, and it's a shame that their last game flew under the radar, Shadow Gambit is a criminally underappreciated stealth murder puzzle gem. store.steampowered.com/app/1545560/...

Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun With this game, developer Mimimi singlehandedly resurrected the stealth strategy genre that started with the likes of Commandos and Desperados, and it's every bit the successor to that legacy you could ever desire, nobody did it quite like them. Play it!
unlabelledView post →This game is incredible, as is the same crew’s Desperados 3 and Shadow Tactics. No one, and I mean no one, has done realtime stealth tactics better than Mimimi.

unlabelledView post →Heya! Started Shadow Gambit, stealth tactics game about cursed pirates vs Eldritch Spanish Inquisition, from the Shadow Tactics dev (rip). I'm loving it! Interesting world and characters and the gameplay is addictive! More Against the Storm and some REmake4. Got a couple quick poinks the other day.
unlabelledView post →Fredo's Game-Os: I'm going to make another post evangelizing the sadly now defunct developer Mimimi. I'm currently playing Aiko's Choice, the stand alone expansion to Shadow Tactics, and it fucking rules - much like the original game. Apparently their next game, Shadow Gambit - is even better

unlabelledView post →What is your one game you'll shamelessly promote until every person on the planet has played it? Mine is Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun. It's somewhere between live and tactical. Just really fun gameplay in Edo Japan. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wlp8...
unlabelledView post →Finished my last game for the year: Aragami. Base game + DLC. I enjoyed Nightfall a lot, reminds me of Shadow Tactics: ninjas with a mission. Also reminiscent of SW Rogue One with the whole suicidal mission thing 🙂
unlabelledView post →It's been 0 days since the last game dev layoffs. German independent studio Mimimi makers of Shadow Tactics is shutting down and letting everyone go as the founders step back. Would have preferred this to be a game dev acquisition story tbh. www.gameswirtschaft.de/wirtschaft/m...

unlabelledView post →Now I'm playing Sumerian Six - a stealth-tactics game where you kill Nazis in an alternate WW2 with crazy technology. Feels a lot like a Mimimi game (e.g. Shadow Tactics, Shadow Gambit), and is also very stylish and well-polished so far.

unlabelledView post →It didn’t hit me until way into Chapter 6 that this game is similar to Shadow Tactics in that it utilizes a real time tactics stealth mechanics. I guess this means I got used to real time tactics 😂 Kinda cool when I think about it like that 😃 #Eriksholm

unlabelledView post →I bought Shadow Tactics as it's only $3.99. I suck at it, but it's a very fun game and I still managed to complete the first mission. Heck yeah! \o/
unlabelledView post →My newest for Nintendo Insider: Shadow Tactics rules and it has great mouse controls, but the port feels a bit conservative compared to how the game feels on PS5 and Steam Deck. I also bought those Joy-Con 2 mouse control grips because I enjoyed the opening hour a ton and wanted proper grips.

unlabelledView post →This game does so much right, but it isn't as tight as Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun was. Still, it's a thoroughly enjoyable game with an active custom mapping scene besides if you're hungering for more. Shame this was the last Mimimi Productions game.

unlabelledView post →I think the main thing that catches me out about Shadow Tactics' branding in particular is how modern all the key art is, design wise, given the content of the game. Far more left-field than the title
unlabelledView post →I finished up cleaning and vacuuming out the car, so I've been mostly doing the same. Otherside Picnic and AM2R respectively. And a little bit of a ninja stealth game called Shadow Tactics.
unlabelledView post →I'm trying to get into Fallout Tactics but I can't help but compare it to far better versions of this type of game such as Commandoes 2: Men of Courage, and more recently Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun. I really liked the stealth element of the other two, but Fallout Tactics lacks it.
unlabelledView post →It feels a little more forgiving than Shadow Tactics, I game I really want to love but which fucks me up the way Commandos used to back in the day (complimentary)
unlabelledView post →I'm having a blast with Shadow Tactics: Blades of The Shogun. It's a tactical stealth game in feudal Japan and of fun. This is just one of the more fun kills I got in this game. Check it out. On sale on Steam rn for $4 store.steampowered.com/app/418240/S...
unlabelledView post →Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream from River End Games and @nordcurrentlabs.bsky.social. Never heard of this or the dev/pub but WOW. It's a top-down stealth action game like Shadow Tactics or Desperados, but in a fictional world that feels like A Plague Tale. Incredible voice actin and plays great.
unlabelledView post →www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rfmu... The studio behind Blasphemous going for a tactical stealth game is definitely a choice, after Mimimi Games, the studio behind Shadow Tactics: Blade of the Shogun, Desperados, and more, closed down after their last game.

unlabelledView post →Yesss, omg, I love it so much, even when it gets really tricksy near the end. Love the mechanics, characters, and setting. I'm actually back to their Shadow Tactics game at some point just to get more of that genre from the team.
unlabelledView post →Speaking as someone who's never been interested in any previous Rainbow Six game, this is *exactly* my jam. Huge XCOM & Shadow Tactics fan, and excited for Zero Company, so I'm very hopeful this one scratches that same itch!
unlabelledView post →- Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun is a stealth / puzzle game, it controls like an RTS (ish) as you guide a small group of ninjas through infilitration missions. would have been my GOTY for 2017 but it's competing with Hollow Knight

unlabelledView post →Game in question for the grips was Shadow Tactics. Very good game, but the Switch 2 port is a bit iffy right now with long loads, some hitching, and the image quality docked. Review soon on @nintendoinsider.bsky.social

unlabelledView post →Third game this year was a quick one, Eriksholm. An isometric puzzle strategy in the style of Commandos or Shadow Tactics, set in a early 20th century scandinavia inspired town sharing the title name. I liked it, but wish there was a little bit more to it. More characters, abilities, missions
unlabelledView post →That was a real let down given the pedigree of the devs and how obviously they want you to remember they made Tenchu with the Rikimaru and Ayame stand ins. But I guess I'll play Yakoh. I really love Shadow Tactics so I'm not opposed to a new game like it. But Tenchu is Tenchu man.
unlabelledView post →I’ll play it because it’s Shinobi, but everyone should play Shadow Tactics since it already exists and look like a similar game
unlabelledView post →I actually have this game! I haven't gotten around to playing it yet but it's on my (voluminous) list. I love Shadow Tactics and this game seems like a spooky pirate-themed version of that.

unlabelledView post →@thomas @bragi Oh, #ShadowTactics is great! In fact, I'd say it's one of the best games from the past few years - the gameplay is fun and challenging, the dynamic between the characters is awesome, and the soundtrack is just spectacular. Still, the strategy segments can be quite tricky at times, and I myself had to muster all my brain power to get through them (although I have lots of experience with strategy games). 😅 But yeah, if you like RTS and Japan, you can't go wrong with Shadow Tactics.
unlabelledView post →Last night I put an hour into the next #RandomBacklogSampler game, SHADOW TACTICS: BLADES OF THE SHOGUN. My sensibilities itch at how integral quick-saving is to the experimental nature of its gameplay, but trying to puzzle out how to sneak your way through its scenarios is great fun.
unlabelledView post →I freakin’ loved Mimimi’s take on the Desperados franchise and adored Shadow Tactics, too, so much so that I have no qualms recommending this game unplayed.

unlabelledView post →Just finished Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun. Recommended! While the name and concept promise a tactical depth that the gameplay never provides, Shadow Tactics—like any competent stealth game—still delivers plenty of enjoyment. #games #gaming #review #shadowtactics

unlabelledView post →Time for more Shadow Tactics I guess. Game is really good but it makes me increasingly annoyed at Commandos 3 for being bad >:<
unlabelledView post →Shadow Tactics is an incredibly good game so far but that difficulty curve is brutal. I can **only** assume they intended for all players to be intimately familiar with Commandos because someone new to the genre would be completely screwed.
