24 of 24 · most liked firstHonestly I do love this game, but I have issues with it. Here’s my list: -if I stop playing it’s hard to remember recipes and I’m not writing that.(There’s few they give you) -I have to keep searching for answers and I hate that. There’s no hints for things it’s strictly guessing which leads to my next one -I can’t go back and look at conversations the way I want. I’m dyslexic, if I read it once I can get confused so sometimes I wanna reread it but can’t so half the time I’m lost. Over all I’ve…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've been waiting for this game anxiously ever since I played the demo and oh my gosh does it deliver! The art is simply gorgeous and the game loop is so satisfying so far. I love optimizing my farming in games so the feature about upgrading seeds (I think about ten times each?) is right up my alley. The story so far (I'm only a few hours in) seems to be anti oppression which is a big yes for me and once again did I mention the amazing art? I feel like I can never get enough cozy hand drawn…

The translation is awful, it's often confusing what you need to do to proceed and the gameplay overall is very grindy. UI is cumbersome and sometimes hard to read However, the overall gameplay loop and progression feels nice, theres a lot of different plants to grow and level and pretty much everything is useful in a way.

You live in a house outside a company town that is mostly abandoned by its owners. Your job is to build resources and machines to help restore the community. The art style is striking and not the standard cozy pixels; the music is spare and beautiful. The early phases of the game are a bit grindy: you'll spend a lot of time fighting to get water. As you move…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The word "cozy" gets thrown around a lot when it's rarely applicable. If you can get past the post-apocalyptic capitalist nightmare setting of Robert on Earth, you'll find it's really quite cozy. Though there are hours in the day, you have no real schedule, no pressing mandatory interactions. You can do whatever your chores are then hop back into bed at 11AM with zero guilt. The world will be just as awful tomorrow and it's okay with waiting for you, so take your time farming, fishing, leveling…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute (but also melancholy) mix of a Harvest Moon with Kingdom as a 2D side scrolling farming game. Mixes up the mechanics in a very interesting way - placing crops next to each other can have additional benefits, so layout and arrangement is as important as funds and energy management. In another nice shake-up, the standard "dig in the mine to get resources" is a stealth system rather than a fighting game. Art is reminiscent of old Flash games (in a good way), the sound effects are good and the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i hate sci-fi. and the first time i saw this game there's only SCI-FI in my mind. but then again, i watched the trailer and got fall in love by his innocent face. i imagined how would i feel if i were on his shoes.. woke up with no memories and hit by the fact that the world is about to collapse. i sympathized.. and then i bought him home. living with Robert wasn't easy. things were all unfamiliar.. odd crops, lack of water, dust and wind everywhere. not to mention i need to learn SOOO MANYYY…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What a wonderful, cozy farming game. It plays like the old flash farming games I used to play. While it is not the most complex game you just plant, water, and manage resources like money and water the plants grow a stage every day. It feels like a very nice step up from those basic idle farming sims. The plants are all unique, and it’s very cool figuring out their interactions with each other and the environment and other things that you can build. It offers a very very nice, relaxing cycle of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really love the open-ended story that this has and it doesn't fully explain to you what exactly is going on. It tells you enough to get an idea, but it's overall your own idea of what the conclusion is. The different variations of plants, as well as their mutations, are really interesting. It makes you want to purposefully find all of them because some are beneficial. I will say that the amount of quests that I got became a little overwhelming, especially since I had to put them on hold for…

Sometimes I got pretty frustrated trying to figure out how to get what I need to craft certain things & how to progress the story but I managed to figure it out eventually.

There are some points that need improving, maybe with an update: - some features are glitchy, like the water shrimp meal does not work if you have no water in the tank; some features have functions that are not very clear, and the controls took some getting used to on PC - the story is great, but the English translation could use some proofreading. The dialog consistently omits…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Robert on Earth, developed by Remrofsnart and published by 2P Games, is a quietly distinctive indie title that blends cozy farming simulation, light RPG progression, and post-apocalyptic science fiction into a reflective and surprisingly layered experience. Rather than focusing on humanity’s survival, the game imagines a world long after people have disappeared, leaving behind a planet maintained and inhabited by machines. You awaken as Robert, a small, endearing robot with fragmented memories,…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →except the fish mini-game, the gameplay is addictive ... the lore and the mystery make me play the game non-stop ... also the world is lots way bigger than I though ...

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a fantastic little game with an elegant design. The progress in all the tasks and development seemed to be pretty close to the pace I wanted to go. Has several interesting endings and some philosophical questions on top of being a satisfying farming simulator. There are several mysteries and sometimes you can miss something and get progress locked, but seemed for the most part to be the right level of challenge. Definitely worth the price IMO.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very nice relaxing farming game. You go at your own pace :) There's no harm in taking more days to complete your objective, and if you'd like to minmax and speed it through, you can also do so. I love the upgrading of seeds, and crafting based on your produce. Which is then later useful for something else (beyond just for selling). There's also some mystery about the plot, but i'm not expecting something super deep. If you enjoyed harvest moon (story of seasons), you would enjoy this :)…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →**Robert on Earth**: A farming sim game where you play as a lonely robot attempting to regrow plant life on a barren, post-apocalyptic Earth. I don't know if they ever made a WALL-E game but this should've been the premise. store.steampowered.com/app/3003050/...
