Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie
Sixteen years ago, a mysterious masked ninja unleashes a powerful creature known as the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox on the Hidden Leaf Village Konoha, killing many people. unlabelledView post →It really is funny how Kishimoto only ending up creating them because of the Road to Ninja movie, the premise of said film being Naruto being stuck in a Limited Tsukuyomi AU world where Sakura’s dad became Hokage instead of Naruto’s dad. Thus butterflying effecting everyone else’s personalities.

So yeah, after that scene(s) Shippuden ep311 "Prologue Road to Ninja" feels like mandatory viewing before the movie, not sure about ep271 Road to Sakura yet still. so I'm going to write down in my read-along watch along guide something like "watch 311, then start M#9, 9 minutes in. #NinjaYog

unlabelledView post →Just saying, in the Road to Ninja movie bizarro world Sasuke’s main character trait was being a womanizer. What does this tell us about main universe Sasuke
unlabelledView post →I don’t think I remember this from original Naruto.. it’s more Shippuden or Road to Ninja movie? I’ll know when I see it for myself. But Shinobi Tsunade interests me.

unlabelledView post →189. Road to Ninja - Naruto the Movie (anime): a concept somewhat ill-fitted to film - too limited in scale to explore the alternate reality more thoroughly while too lax when a film would otherwise necessitate more urgency, leading to a really tacked on villain. Some nice moments, runs smooth. 5/10

unlabelledView post →Road to Ninja is directed by Date Hayato, the series director of NARUTO and the first series director of NARUTO Shippuuden. This movie had a rushed production and was being produced at the same time that Tsuru was directing six movie-level episodes for the animated series, so it looks worse lol

unlabelledView post →32. The Last: Naruto The Movie cute movie but I wish it had less fighting and high stakes and was just sol / cute stuff. Road to Ninja is better but this gets points for the romance.
unlabelledView post →22. Road to Ninja: Naruto The Movie going from the third movie to this is such a drastic jump in quality Enjoyed my time with this : )
unlabelledView post →The first one is like Naruto filler distilled into its purest form. I think it's very fun. Movie 3 is fun. The Shippuden movies are generally alright. They're a fun watch but nothing crazy. I'd say the first one, and yeah Road to Ninja. Road to Ninja just IS the best Naruto movie period.
unlabelledView post →5) Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie A nice what if movie with some very nice moments with Narutos parents. Tho it would've been nice to see more of the Kakashi if his life didn't suck
unlabelledView post →So, short answer: I think after One Piece Film: Strong World was marketed on "looking like Oda drew it" it became a sort of industry-wide thing for a LOT of shounen anime, which I think is a major shame. This hit NARUTO starting with Road to Ninja, too. It replaced Tsuru's original film, Chikara >
unlabelledView post →movie 1? honestly pretty good, I'll go to bat for it movie 3? some gorgeous animation and a great Rock Lee fight scene but movie 2, man you'd think I'd be into it just for its team, but sadly no I did like Road to Ninja and The Last well enough, though
unlabelledView post →Excluding Road to Ninja cause it's just unfair. Probably movie 3, but I also like the first Shippuden movie a lot.
unlabelledView post →Road To Ninja is some of the best Sakura content EVER, and guess who is barely in the movie? Sasuke. Sasuke is an incredible character. One of the best Kishi ever wrote. He also actively makes her writing worse just by being around and that's unfortunate.
