positive · AI labelView post →Is this a safe space to say I think Requiem for a Dream is an unintentionally hilarious bad movie

positive · AI labelView post →Requiem for a Dream. Fantastic movie. I'm glad I've seen it. I never want to see it again.
positive · AI labelView post →The singer Addison Rae and the movie ‘Requiem For A Dream’ were released 25 years ago today 🥳
neutral · AI labelView post →What’s the most uncomfortable movie you’ve watched with a parent? Once I was watching Requiem for a Dream and my dad decided to sit down and watch with me. I had to leave the room.
neutral · AI labelView post →Anyway, Requiem For A Dream is an obnoxious Chick Tract ass movie that paints anyone struggling with addiction as being irredeemably damned and ruined for touching drugs even once, stigmatizing addiction further and inspiring the kind of thinking that makes seeking treatment more difficult 🖕🖕🖕🖕
negative · AI labelView post →Requiem for a Dream is a movie a high school senior would make for his DARE program. Pi is fun in a dumb way that gets ruined if you know he thinks it’s smart. Black Swan is deeply stupid. The Wrestler is good due to the script. Thank you for reading my post
negative · AI labelView post →Then your movie is "Requiem for a Dream." Prepare to never feel clean ever again. Or if you want to get REALLY gross, go for "A Serbian Film," but do NOT come crying to me when you're done.
neutral · AI labelView post →My friend who did film in college said that like 75% of her male classmate's film proposals were like "Requiem For A Dream but in [my hometown]"
neutral · AI labelView post →What is your discomfort movie? A movie you saw one time and said okay, never again? I have several but here are three: Kids Requiem For A Dream Funny Games (both)
neutral · AI labelView post →For me, it's Requiem for a Dream. Still a little freaked out by that one. It's a good movie but just... fuck, man. From another angle, any disappointing sequel that was made for the money without anything original to say.
positive · AI labelView post →Requiem for a Dream is a christmas movie

neutral · AI labelView post →Just brought that movie up last night. Great movie. Once is fine. I’ll never forget it. Same with Requiem for a Dream. Ellen Burstyn was devastating in it. I’ll never watch it again. If you’ve loved an addict, it’s just too hard.
positive · AI labelView post →Requiem for a Dream. Probably my favourite film of all time but I highly doubt I’ll ever watch it again.
positive · AI labelView post →Requiem for a Dream. Not sorry I watched it because it is an excellent ~film~ but like...never fuckin again, ever.
positive · AI labelView post →One film that I’ve seen once that I don’t think I could watch again is “Requiem for a Dream”. Not because I thought it was bad or I didn’t like it but due to how bleak, depressing and disturbing it was
positive · AI labelView post →Intro sequence for "Atomic Alert," 1951, an early Civil Defense film aimed at elementary school students. It's like they found the perfect midpoint between "Un chien andalou," "Requiem for a Dream," and some sort of 1950s atomic fever dream.

positive · AI labelView post →The only time I have watched either film was ca. 2000 going to see Requiem for a Dream in theatres and being so depressed afterwards that we immediately hit up a Blockbuster to find something to cheer ourselves up and it was Babe II: Pig in the City.
positive · AI labelView post →#NowWatching REQUIEM FOR A DREAM (2000). Director: Darren Aronofsky. Ellen Burstyn, Jared Leto. Rewatching Aronofsky's eye-popping & relentlessly unpleasant view of addiction. Burstyn gives one of my favorite performances. #filmsky 📽
neutral · AI labelView post →Finally checking this off my list. #NowWatching #filmsky #ftw I don't know enough about this movie to know if its considered horror. I heard it inspired the director of Black Swan and Requiem for a Dream so I'm assuming there's gonna be some mental health stuff going on.

unlabelledView post →Wife made me watch _Brokeback_. Would watch it again. Maybe. It deserved the Best Picture. It lost to _Crash_, which was entertaining and I enjoyed it, but it was silly and the Academy should have seen right through it. _Brokeback_ had one gay sex scene, and it wasn’t that bad. (I don’t enjoy any sex scenes in movies. Except in _Requiem For a Dream_, those were awesome.) It had more for straight people. Oh and the film was gorgeous. If you enjoy watching movies, you should see it.

A piffling little potboiler that became AN EXPERIENCE™️. My favorite film, too! Also, having read and seen Requiem for a Dream? Requiem for a Dream.

This one is supposed to be really good too." "Sure, what movie?" "Requiem for a Dream..." "OK!" It turns out that was not a great date movie.
