Map is confusing and you have no idea where to go. Also, this is, if not the worst horror stealth game i have ever seen. Outlast if it was slop. I cannot bring myself to waste time on this, has potential but this game franchise from what i've heard (remothered) is just straight up ass. Seriously, don't buy this.

Finally I did finish it, but my 8 hours of playtime is not correct. This game can be completed in around 4 hours. The story worked fine for me, the gameplay so-so. Mechanics were OK, but throwing objects never worked for me. It's still pretty fun, if you can ignore the issues it has. On sale, definitely worth it.

The atmosphere is genuinely unsettling, and the constant feeling of being hunted kept me tense the whole time. The controls can be frustrating here and there, but the creepy story and psychological horror more than made up for it. I finished the game and still wasn't sure exactly what happened. It's decent quality overall and ran fine on Linux (Proton 10.0.4 compatibility), but I got stuck to the floor in a couple places and the audio sometimes made it sound like the stalkers were nearby when they weren't.
