negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →[url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asset_flip]Warning: Asset Flip! Winexy is a Digital Homicide style asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The Russian "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unreal Marketplace packs, dumped them all in a blender, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers. Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the game, and whether the "developer"…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a pile of hot garbage. It's nothing but an asset flip with ♥♥♥♥♥♥ coding and worse level design. I got the game for free and I still feel scammed. Don't waste your time
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Do you know Kula World (Roll Away)? That was the first thing that came to mind when I saw Winexy for the first time. I expected something similar but unfortunately it doesn't resemble Kula World in any meaningful way. Everything feels off. And, as if by some strange tradition, every game that's advertised as being "100% off" seems to run terribly. This one is no exception - the performance is awful and it made my PC feel like it was about to burst into flames. I can't recommend it. If you're…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Uhm, so this game is basically Ballance (does anyone still remember that game?), except: - Gameplay and physics are terrible: ball keeps slipping, some things can be pushed for no reason, and moving a ball straight across horizontal rails makes the ball bounce sideways? And etc etc. - Design is terrible too: Around 15-20 levels of "throwing you incoherent, random mechanics", and mechanisms in favor of "realism" over gameplay and, in the process, makes gameplay really bad. Oh, and did I mention…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is unfinished. You're a ball, you roll around, sometimes you can get electrified or become wood; Get to the end. Winexy is using 50% of UE4's stock material systems and blueprints. This game is also very tedius, and the design is all over the place and very incoherent. The controls are floaty, and the menus are awful. But you know what, good for you Winexy. This is a complete game. It's broken, and a mess, but it's out on steam and someone shipped it. At least it's not in "Early…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don't let the trailer fool you, this game is absolute garbage. Hardly playable and ridiculously hard, plus a lot of its assets are just Unreal stock assets. This isn't always a problem, but when you expect someone to roll a ball in a straight line on top of a bunch of copy/pasted boulders there's got to be something wrong with your head. Avoid.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a piece of ****. Thats All I Can Say — Don't waste Your time.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This 3d rolling ball puzzle game is super dull. The physics are totally wonky, and the ball slides far away with barely any movement. Rumor has it that it uses 100% free sale to trick players into downloading it, n it secretly runs crypto mining in the background. Definitely just skip this one.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Roll the ball type of game. You fall - repeat whole stage. Bad and floaty physics and most of time your ball will spin in place before moving in direction you want - controls are bad. Add to this boring levels and you're set for the worst shovelware of the year!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I read a negative review which claimed the game to be "brutally hard" and totally "unfun" because "it doesn't tell you what to do"... So I decided to give the game a go. The game is very simple ball rolling platformer with a few twists. The only thing that makes it hard is if you try to be fast. And oh boy I tried. The developer had left some neat speedrunning routes (and troll parts, f**king a**hole) here and there and I felt good grinding the levels trying to improve my times. The game is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So I playes this game for 15 min now and I am kind of disapointed. The game is based on the Unreal Engine (which is not told you, what I think you have to do). There is a stating kit in the Unreal Engine (UDK) which has got this ball, rolling around. It does not really make fun for me, because I get with my average gaming PC around 30 FPS the controls are very delayed, so the levels get vvery difficult in a way it is annoying the menue does not react reliable To the end: This…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Based on the trailer, I was expecting to really enjoy Winex. This game has a lot of great ideas, but the small amount I have played are very poorly executed. PROS: Pretty good art execution and the music is nice. Nice puzzle solving and some unique mechanics. CONS: Brutally difficult and very bad pacing. I died more than 10 times on the first level. Some from not being able to see the ball, some from not knowing where to go and mostly from failing to balance on the tiny path. These are all…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ugly and rough around the edges, but at least the gameplay is okay... minus the broken physics. Full review Let's start off with the good things. The game has a nice pacing and offers some interesting ideas, trying to refresh the old-as-dirt genre of marble mazes with its own series of twists and innovations. Various obstacles affect your ball on its way to wherever it's going, and puzzles will occasionally block your way forward. The tutorial is straightforward and gets you directly into it,…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As a rolling ball game, the physics often don't behave the way you'd expect, making movement feel inconsistent and frustrating. A lot of mistakes feel less like player error and more like the game fighting against you. The core concept isn't bad, but the execution makes it hard to enjoy. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend it even if you got it for free.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game made me feel emotions I haven't felt in years and it scared a little pee out of me.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's insulting to give this game out to people. Even for free
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I started this game thinking it had potential, I thought the graphics were...interesting, the gameplay was cool, and the experience started relaxing. until I was almost IMMEDIATELY proved wrong on the VERY. FIRST. WORLD. one thing this game fails awfully at is giving you ANY hints whatsoever of what to do or where to go. EVER. It just gives you a lolly and tells you to go play. I ragequitted level 3 of the fog world because I literally did not know what to do. I thought (and still think) that…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In my opinion the game is pretty good. It´s a platformer where you`ll have to move a ball through a variety of obstacles to reach the goal of the level. Don`t expect a miracle though, the game is good, but it`s not perfect. There are still many things that have to be improved and the developer is currently pretty busy at improving the game, so that`s good. But still, right now there are many things that still can be made better (especially in the 1st world!) There are 5 different worlds, each…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →game pushed my cpu to 80 degrees celsius, garbage gameplay that probably has a bitcoin miner
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Terrible physics, incoherent level design with broken mechanics.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So you saw a free Steam game about playing with balls and immediately downloaded it and proceeded to complain about it not going how you wanted it too? 100% skill issue. Since you could clearly use a friend right now, I'll leave you with a quote: "It is better to make the wrong choice at the right time than the right choice at the wrong time." ~Marcus Aurelius
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got this for free like the other week. Can't complain really? Simple.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Got this when it was free. I thoroughly enjoy games like this but this one is far too bugged to play. I can't even get half-way through a level without somehow getting stuck, blocked, or having no where to go. Yes, I tried multiple times and nothing worked. There is no way for me to go any faster uphill or try to fall down to the lower level. Either way, good game to waste a few minutes on if you want to get frustrated and question life for a bit.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hands down, the worst ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game I've ever played!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →you're able to uninstall it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ball randomly chucks itself across the map when interacting with objects such as the conveyor belt or random debris. Achievements also dont work on newest version of the game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Terrible physics, incoherent level design with broken mechanics, inconsistent graphics, deceptive trailer
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game reminds me of Hamster Ball and Ballance, but with these differences, - Bad control with keyboard. - Poor level design. On some level (such as first fire level), it took me few restart to understand what i'm supposed to do. Some can't even be solved since i can't reach the objective. - Graphic look good at first glance. But there are few problem such as certain area with certain camera angle result very dark visual and some visual inconsistency. Just avoid this game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It could be way more polished, the music restarting all the time when u die will drive u mad
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Winexy is a great adventure puzzle game with fantasy elements, combining your different perceptions into solving dynamic puzzles! Interact with the environment as almost every element in a certain stage is vital to finding your way out! The game offers a variety of levels, with different environment and interesting puzzles. Actually the environment is very important, taking you from pitch dark places to mazes, or to some other extreme conditions, where you traverse through it in a different…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun physics-based ball roller that channels the spirit of Marble Madness and Monkey Ball, with varied levels and different ball materials keeping the gameplay fresh.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Boring game about rolling a ball towards the goal. This feels more like someone's first 3D unity project than an actual game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game Winexy 5/10 Heisen
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A game where you roll a ball, but due to terrible framerate drops, terrible map design, and awful controls, the game is basically unplayable. The map design is so bad, that there are often objects blocking your path that you can't even see. There are 5 different types of levels. Fog, Fire, Water, Dark, and Maze. Fog is where you have to manuever through fog-filled maps with literal lines of platforming. This "tightrope balancing" is nearly impossible when all of the fog effects randomly…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A solid 3D rolling ball game where your choice of material actually matters for solving puzzles and surviving hazards. It’s simple, entertaining, and brings a fresh take to the genre.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The varied ball types and environmental interactions add a fun twist to an otherwise straightforward rolling-platformer formula.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A sleek, realistic 3D ball-roller where mastering different physics properties is the key to conquering every maze and speedrun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Roll smart, roll fast - Winexy tests every bounce.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →level 3 of the fog world is impossible i rolled that ball onto the damn button took me 8 attempts and it does nothing only your ball activates the button 0/10 bad game not worth it

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Buggy physic. Unable to change cam sensitivity. Hardlocked myself the firsts second by trying to open the menu while the tutorial appeared above the menu. Only half compatible with controller, still need a mouse to click next level. Free game for a reason

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I consider myself very forgiving when it comes to discussing issues with games, especially when they are free. I don't need the highest graphics, frame rates, perfect design or whatever. If the game is fun, effort was put into it, and the presentation is nice enough, I can look past a lot and be satisfied. It's really hard to make games and I try to give devs the benefit of the doubt. But this game is just bad. The title design of the game on steam looks really cool. Loading it up though, the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There's this old arcade game called Marble Madness, it was a wonderful masterpiece. This game tries to be a lot like it but with more trips and triggers. It's fun for a casual game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got this game thinking it might have the fun of an old school Marble Madness game and stir up some nostalgia from my childhood but I was out of luck on that. The game is slow and the gameplay feels clunky resulting in frustration and boredom rather than frantic fun types of frustration.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a decent game. Parts of it can get frustrating, but overall it is worth two quarters. The level design isn't great, but there was some thought put into it. This is not a polished game. Also, use a keyboard; this game will be impossible with a controller.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →+ It's competant. + It's hella cheap. - It's unpolished. - There's no direction on the levels; you have to figure them out from the start, with little introduction in terms of mechanics - The checkpoints are far too sparse, or not easily triggerable (if I didn't find them). Overall, decent.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The idea is amazing since there arent many "good" games like this, but the level design is really REALLY bad. There are more glitches than features, every map feels like the creator just said "eh this will be fine" and the achievements dont even work. I really cant reccomend this.
