This is not worth your money at all. And here's why in this long list of issues. -The game is overly simple. The game throws at you ton food items that any experienced Roguelike player would expect them to serve a greater purpose aka hunger. Here, their only purpose is simply to (restore a bit of HP). They are basically just lesser…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I realize I spent way too much time completing this game. But I wanted to get all the achievements. Disregarding that, it is actually a really cool adventure/rogue-like dungeon crawler. It has 5 unique characters with different builds with 4 different levels you can play them on. The game is pretty challenging even on the easier difficulties but still feels rewarding when completing bosses or stages especially with the achievements that are very well implemented. I do have a few issues with…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's super short and super simple but this little retro RPG isn't bad. Seems likely ported from mobile but plays nicely on PC. It's not the best in the genre but it's good enough for $5.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Excessively simple, effectively random and unavoidable deaths on a run, no progression systems, all in all no capacity to improve your skill or strategy. Might as well click a random number generator and celebrate if you get an even number.

It’s got strategy, colorful graphics, good humor, and a jammin’ soundtrack. 4.5/5⭐️ @polykillpodcast.bsky.social #justbeatit

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quest of Dungeons gets a beta for a major update, v4.0!. Apparently been a little over a year since the last update, and the game is already pretty old too. =) The change list: - Brand new Mansion (The Abyss) with some new sprites and enemies. - Added Monsterpedia on Leaderboards Menu (track how many of which you killed), this is new so even if you played a bunch there was never a way to track this before. - Can switch between keyboard/mouse and Gamepad at any time after booting game, just…
unlabelledView post →It's super simple and kinda barebones — feels like one of those clunky mobile games. Still, not bad for the price. Good for killing time at the airport or when you're bored out of your mind. <번역> 전반적으로 단순하고 완성도가 낮은 편이지만, 가격대를 감안하면 나쁘지 않음. 대기 시간이나 무료한 순간에 가볍게 즐기기 좋은 게임.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quest of Dungeons About The Game: Quest of Dungeons is a turn-based, rouge-like, RPG. The object of the game is simple, DON'T DIE!. Navigate the dungeons killing monsters, gaining exp, and collecting loot. You can switch out your equipment but leveling up just gives strait stat boosts. Skills come in the form of tomes you find. Some skills work better for some classes than others. The dungeons are randomly generated and can have multiple stairways. Some of the doors take keys to open them and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is just not fun. It's certainly a game for sure but that's all I have to say about it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Main issue is that it's poorly balanced. Regular mobs present no challenge at all - you can whip through floors incredibly quickly. But then bosses are quite a lot stronger - to the point that you can be one-shot killing regular mobs, but then a boss on the same floor can one-shot you.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has been done before and better tbh. If you've never played Fatal labyrinth (the og imo), pixel dungeon or the enchanted cave, than you may enjoy this game. However, if you've played the above games previously you'll quickly realize this game runs out of juice by the 4th floor and there are 10 floors to complete. Bosses are completely unbalanced if you get hit by one they can easily one shot you, progression is grindy and as I said before once you get to the 5th floor you're…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolutely great game, that I own on Android and Switch as well as Steam, and it's on my Itch wishlist to get a DRM-Free version for PC to have an "archival" copy of it. Very "retro" game, but highly playable, with a fairly modern interface and controls that make it simple to learn rather than using esoteric commands like many similar titles do. Also, when they say "roguelike" here, they actually mean it. This is an actual roguelike, not a rogue-lite, game. For traditionalists such as myself…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quest of Dungeons, has the feeling of a bit version of Dark Souls. If you like a simple dps struggle game were all you need is time to get the gear you need, you will love it! Until you die from a "Supprise MF" Boss room! and just like the DS franchise "prepare to die"! If this sound fun and the type of game your looking for; a game to pass the time and test your skills too see how far you can get with one life...add to library!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lets face it. This is a pre-teen roguelike rpg game, a great introduction into genre. Simple mechanics and plenty of stuff to collect, kids love it. For more experianced its undemanding mind-off resting game from heavier titles. As said, this is good place to start your journey into dungeon crawlers, rpg and roguealikes.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A lot of the negative reviews focus on the fact that Quest of Dungeouns - hereafter known as QD - lacks the same depth as other games in the genre. I think it's important to bear in mind that QD wasn't meant to be complex and "deep." It's a simple dungeon crawler that you can choose to play for ten minutes then put it down and come back another time. The game has a nice sense of humor about it, the music is nice but it could have used a few more tunes. Don't go in expecting QD to ADOM or…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you can tell from how many hours I clocked in on this game, I love it! It's hard enough to be nearly frustrating but fun enough that every time I die I think 'okay, this time I'll get that achievement!' and since it is a rogue-type game replaying it is always a new adventure! The graphics and 2D top-down is charming and the simple controls take no time to get used to. All in all, one of my favorite games!

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A lightweight game with charming pixel art and quick runs. Simple, clean, and great for a dungeon-crawling fix.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well... I was going to put in some work on my game but while perusing itch I noticed that I hadn't installed Quest of Dungeons on this new laptop. I decided to do a quick run and... oops! There went 70 minutes. My name is SkaterDee and I am a Rogue-like addict.
unlabelledView post →I am a fan of Pixel Dungeon and its clones on Android. They have helped me pass time while waiting for an appointment or my wife to finish shopping. I thought Quest of Dungeons might be an equally fun time waster and more complex dungeon crawler to play on my computer. Unfortunately, it just isn't the case. Quest of Dungeons is very basic and repetitive. I feel like I am grinding after 10 minutes of play. There is little character, loot, or level progression. Each level is basically the same.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overall I think the game is just ok one review kinda put it best saying after 30 minutes you have seen everything the game has to offer which I would basically agree with so you can be entertained by it but generally I wouldn't say it would be a game I would recommend
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Extremely shallow roguelike that falls down in all key areas - it lacks meaningful procedural generation, meaningful choices, emergent gameplay, a satisfying growth in power or challenge, interesting quests or goals, and an interesting combat system. It's basically the roguelike you build as a tutorial to learn a new language, complete with generic assets. If you would like to play a cartoony, fun, lunchbreak roguelike capable of being replayed, then I would recommend One Way Heroics instead.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My last 3 playthroughs consisted of breezing through 4/5 levels only to one shot by the witch. No warning. No way to avoid it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An extremely repetitive game with almost nothing to unlock. In this game, you choose a character, you choose dungeon, and you progress between floors by killing enemies, looting stuff, finding keys, opening chests, killing bosses and finding stairs. (Be sure to read this list well. It's all you'll do in this game.) There are two dungeons in total plus a custom dungeon mode. No story at all, almost no text or cutscenes. Each floor works exactly like the last. Only the colors and the enemies…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So for context, I put this game on my wishlist back in 2015. I saw the steam sale one day and went, will I buy this finally or remove this out of respect for the developer? And honestly, it came for me at the perfect time in my gaming life, as I was coming off a bad experience with another game. In terms of "flaws" the art in this isn't high grade, and there's some minor age issues I'd warn ahead of time (you will need to go and change the resolution in a txt file manually if you use a 4k…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Almost a modern castle of winds. Not perfect. Not terrible. On point. You can grind for xp/money/pots or adventure on the next level. Being simple is always a plus.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Jerma985 is a Liar.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →With the game's elements ranging from mediocre to terrible in terms of quality or depth, this'd be a dubious option even at free. From controls that lack basic functionality (eg, the ability to use left or right click to move and the other click to attack; Instead, expect very limited mouse controls) to lacking user conveniences like pathing-pausing on monster reveal, to clumsy interaction polish, the game's design is extremely dated, being in some ways worse than games from the 80s and 90s,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun, simple, well-structured rouge-like. Easy to pick up, easy to put down, easy to pick up again and get sucked into.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very good game. Excellent replayability. Something so satisfying about playing for 2 hours, building a sweet character, and then getting 1-shotted by a boss. LOL. My advice > don't get cocky if you think you have an unbeatable character. Great game, great dev!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →These types of games aren't my typical 'go to' - I have nothing particularly against them, but I just tend to lean more towards simulations. That being said, I thoroughly enjoy this game. The maps randomly generate, and as far as I can tell, I haven't ever had the same map twice - which makes it much more enjoyable in itself. It's a simple game, yet can be challenging. Highly recommend this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →ticks all boxes! super cool game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun moria/angabnd lite game that is still rogue like enough to cause nervousness whilst traversing ever more downwards. Decent.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little dungeon game. Pretty much died within 2 seconds in my first round, but I'm getting the hang of it now.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not mindless, not overly taxing, just enough to make me want to replay over and over
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a great "one more time" game. Reccomended
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quest of Dungeons is fun at first. There are no complicated mechanics to be mastered or anything like that. It's just simple turn-based dungeon crawling with basic looting and leveling. However, the game gets repetitive pretty quickly, and the character classes don't provide enough variation to the gameplay. Bosses can be extremely annoying with how stupidly overpowered they are. Their attacks crit frequently and even regular attacks can deal more damage than half of your total HP. Now…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought this game because I was happy to see that they'd ported it over from android and I've spent countless hours on this game on my phone when on the toilet or bored at work. It's simple, fun and you can quit at any point and continue exactly where you left off. I'd recommend this game for anyone looking for a nice little light hearted dungeon crawler without a super indepth stat/class system.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →11 / 10 Skill Books TL;DR version: Just buy it! You WON'T regret it (IMO), I know I didn't and my potato PC loves it! Having bought almost all the platform versions (3DS/2DS, android & PC) of this game, I've probably accumulated a total of 100+hrs of gameplay time. If you like rogue-like TD dungeon crawlers, at least check it out, definitely worth every penny (IMO). But, that's not the game's only focus. It has a strong focus on inventory management (deciding what to keep to sell and use and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is literally the worst "dungeon crawler" i've played thus far. But I wouldn't even call it that. Actually it's a "looting simulator". You wander around, clicking every destroyable item in every room, looting every item, killing every minion. Repeatedly. TBH, i didn't invest much time into this game, baybe there is some kind of end game. But from what I have seen, it's repetitive and too easy.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a great introduction to "real" rogue-likes for anyone interested in giving DCSS, et al. a try but too afraid to jump into the deep-end. It simplifies (or removes) many mechanics, which makes it much more approachable for players new to the genre. If you have never played DCSS, I recommend this game whole-heartedly. If you are a veteran DCSS player, you will end up posting a review about the developer being a "poor designer". Bonus points for having full controller support. Loses…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →welp, at first this game wass a bit odd. was expecting something more like "the binding of isaac" but got something completely different it was more fast paced and more fun, and one of the best time killers. before getting this game be sure you have some time to waste/kill on it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quest of Dungeon is exactly what it’s advertised as: a pretty basic dungeon crawler with the standard rpg classes. If you’re looking for something to keep you busy for a few hours every once in awhile this is the game for you. Quest of Dungeon doesn’t overcomplicate things like most dungeon crawlers tend to do, everything is straightforward and to the point: you’re in a dungeon, there’s lotsa treasure to find, rooms to explore, monsters to kill and shops to buy from.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quest of Dungeons is a fun little time waster. It has its limitations as most indie games do but that said, if you like aimlessly slaughtering things in dungeons then this is for you. It's a small game, quick to download, just as quick to uninstall when you're done. Not the best game I've ever played, felt like some of the dungeon crawlers from the 90's which is a plus in itself, I really miss those games. But yeah, still worth picking up if you've got time on your hands and you wanna say,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Either fully free, or single payment, no in-between. Gachas and MTX are bad even if good, either for DRM, heavily addiction-oriented design, GAAS, privacy concerns, and so on. Dandara is fun though pretty hard. Quest of Dungeons is pretty good for short plays. Also dev's on Mastodon. ConflictCraft, Defense Zone 2, LYNE and Downwell are good time wasters. Anodyne and Ittle Dew are great adventure/puzzle games. Deeper Down Dungeons was pretty challenging in a fun way, despite looking a bit…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Recently decided to work on some of the left over achievements from years ago. Quest of Dungeons is an addictive little move/turn based game with a soundtrack that is absolutely fantastic. Remember to use "Enter" to skip a turn, don't be like me and close doors/open doors, run back and forth (Thanks for a Dev Post years ago that made a few of us go "Oh! Enter! Sweet!"). There are a few difficulty modes and a few different Dungeons with lots of little achievements to get. I'd absolutely…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've had a lot of fun in this game. Everything feels very balanced once you get a grasp on the structure. I've beaten the game at least once with each class in the game by this point and the soundtrack is just incredible. It never gets old. I also own the game on Android which I've put as much or more time into. Quest of Dungeons ranks quite highly in my dungeon crawler collection. It's simple and focused and a game that is perfect to jump into and out quickly or settle into with a beverage.

Just go assassin (hunter/ranger/what ever you want to call the bow user), learn every spell from books you come across and have fun winning. Just watch out for last boss, if he cast's death, you need to kill him with in 20 turns (moving once/attacking once/casting a spell once = one turn) and make it to the chest in his room and pick up the lantern of light (unless you resist the spell) or your dead.
