positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As a non-native English speaker, I studied English through this game during my childhood, maybe—or maybe not! :p 영어 조기교육. 성공적. (아님)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is my childhood. It is the first memory of gaming that i have. Its not a long game, but I love it all the same.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Completed in under an hour. Went with the Alligator Green build as I felt it gave me a competitive edge over the other cars. Outback Al uses child labour to fix his Zoo business problems. Putt-Putt being the upstanding young car he is happily helps and saves the baby zoo animals. 10/10 very fun game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You need a pretty beefy PC to run this one. I'd say at least an RTX 5090 Ti and 128 gigs of RAM. Regardless, the otherworldly topiary creatures make this a true staple in the horror genre.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game changed my life. The first time I played it, I was like wow. This is video game? I couldn't believe it. It set me on a whole new course. Thank you Putt-Putt, thank you for saving the zoo and saving my life.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got all the Humongous Games from Humble Bundle and Putt Putt Saves the Zoo was one of my favorites when I was a kid (and one of the few I could actually beat with my tiny child brain). Replaying it now I was hit was nostalgia when I heard the opening song, the topiaries at the gate singing their song, the polar bear hockey game... practically all the game. I'm almost 30 and I wanna beat all the old Humongous games I couldn't as a kid but I had to start with one of my favorites first. And…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I loved the part where the Bad Evil-Doers were about to shoot up the zoo and then Putt-Putt showed up and scared them away with the sheer aura on him

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was really depressed for a while and would get super ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ baked and play this game to feel like a kid. I can't wait for my children to play this game. They will love Putt-Putt. If they color him ORANGE I WILL DISOWN THAT INSUFFERABLE BRAT! WHO IN GOD'S GREAT EARTH WAKES UP AND SAYS "OH WOW ORANGE YEAH ORANGE IS MY FAVORITE COLOR. I LIKE TRAFFIC CONES, ORANGES, AND ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PANDA EXPRESS." I will never raise a child like that.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It fell off after the first 150 hours.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Revisited this game after almost 20 years, which I used to play as a small Czech child with my sister on the family computer. We understood almost none of the English and it was so special to me to now know what all the gibberish meant. The gameplay mostly consists of clicking, except for a few mini games, but that still provides more than enough entertainment. The amount of things you can interact with is amazing and the animations are just so random and funny, I still remembered so many of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great replay value, different animals to safe each time with different routes. But like how are animals a thing but no humans? Do monkeys exist in the putt putt verse, are they not like humans? Maybe the cars took them out? Need to play the next one to figure it out.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Click on the topiary on the zoo entrance screen. The song is a banger.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Oh wipe off your windshield so you can see Probably the best game in the Putt-Putt series The amount of joy that this game has brought to my kids would be well worth the price even if I hadn't bought it in a bundle with all of the other Humongous Games games.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Putt-Putt Saves The Zoo, developed by Humongous Entertainment and published by Humongous Entertainment and Nightdive Studios, is a quintessential example of how a game can be thoughtfully designed for younger audiences without sacrificing charm, personality, or lasting appeal. As one of the standout entries in the long-running Putt-Putt series, it places players in the role of the ever-optimistic purple car and his loyal companion Pep as they take on the gentle mission of helping the Cartown…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Whether you want to get a fun game for your kid or take a nostalgia trip (likely both), Putt-Putt Saves the Zoo is a great way to pass the time. Its basic plot and overall charm is perfect to introduce your little ones into the world of gaming! And not only are there different kinds of minigames to play throughout the different worlds, but there's also an option to get a camera so you can take pictures of friendly characters and amusing animals!

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Putt-Putt® Saves The Zoo is the first in the series to adopt the artstyle that will remain consistent for the rest of Putt-Putt and Pep's run. This is the Putt-Putt that I grew up with, and this game, specifically, holds a lot of memories for me. Compared to the previous entries in the franchise, it is a lot brighter and feels particularly upbeat despite the whole plot revolving around missing animal children... In fairness, this is meant for kids. Anyways, this game is really charming, but…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played it only because of a vague sense of nostalgia, but it's still great by today's standards. Both the visuals and animations look gorgeous, even at 2K resolution. You can also interact with many objects and items that aren't part of the main quest, which is pleasant to see. And yes, native Linux version works without any issue. P.S. There's no in-game tutorial, so read the manual to know how to save/load and change some settings (such as enabling subtitles).
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm getting so close to beating it, I can feel it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Childhood feels. This was my favorite game at one point. It holds up well.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My four year old enjoyed this a lot, particularly making Putt Putt gorge himself on free snacks and paint himself every color of the rainbow repeatedly for half an hour.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was one of my favourite games as a young kid, and it's still fun playing it over 25 years later. The puzzles are simple but enjoyable and I think even today would be easy for children to grasp. The baby animals give you pretty obvious hints, too. Be sure to click on anything you can, since you get a fun little animation whenever you do! They're reactive and very amusing. Some of the adult animals have stereotypical accents, but that was the only outdated thing I noticed. If you played…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice hint of nostalgia. I love that nothing was changed, but now you don't need the original CD/DVD game to play. I remember playing this game so much as a kid, so I am glad I can just go to Steam and revisit those memories. I only wish - not related to this game, but the creators of a different sort of simple point-and-click kids' game - that the creators of Blue's Clues: Blue's Birthday Adventure did a similar port to Steam. The Blue's Clues game I am referencing had 2 disc's for different…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game brought me hours of joy as a kid, and I am now able to play it with my daughter together! She is less than 2, so the story itself isn't clicking quite yet, but some of the minigames within it are easy to play with toddlers, and keeps them engaged and loving animals. I already loved this game before, but this connection I can make now with my daughter is extra special.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The pure nostalgia of this is totally worth it.
