Putt-Putt Goes to the Moon has single handily turned my life around. Here I was drinking every day. doing drugs non stop. Going no where in life. My Wife left me and took the kids, all my friends turned their backs on me. I didn't think I could go on but I played Putt-Putt Goes to the Moon and seeing this car go through all these awful things and still be positive about it made me realize that life gets better. Thank you Putt-Putt I'll never forget about you and what you have done. I love you…

As much as it pains me to give a negative review to a game directed by Ron Gilbert, I have to say it's probably the worst game I played from him (well, it wasn't helped by the fact that my kid didn't enjoy it either.) The game is in VGA resolution so the graphics are nothing exciting, and there's absolutely nothing to entice a kid to get interested in astronomy. It's just full of terrible sci-fi clichés, the puzzles are boring, the music is bland, should I really go on..? Now I know it's just…

Super short and has no replayability like with the Time Travel part, but at least we know from this, that vehicles became aware of themself and killed every human being somewhere after the moon landing.

When i was 6 years old i was diagnosed with social anxiety and ADHD and since then i have been feeling depressed my entire life. This game however, it reminds of the futility that we come across in life. Sometimes we want the whole universe, sometimes we want nothing at all, but in the end, all we get is the moon... really deep game.

Where to begin.... Whether it be through the subtle critique on capitalism through the two-headed alien running the ice cream shop/rocket or the eloquent metaphors for our generation's fight for equality and acceptance with varying gender roles through being able to change your color in the diner, there's a little something for everyone in this game. For me, the most powerful metaphor was in the beginning. In an incredibly powerful parallel of Genesis from the Bible, Putt Putt enters the…

The implications that humans and even America existed (exist?) in the putt putt lore is immense. Better than joins the parade but little more difficult and complex than saves the zoo but still fun for little kids.

I think there's an obvious progression in stakes for Putt Putt in these games Humongous made. We start off joining a parade and in the nexr game we LAND ON THE MOTHERF***ING MOON! It took Mario 9 installments till he made the leap to a game set in space. Putt Putt Goes to the Moon is about... Oh, f*** it. The plot is in the title. You've got Putt Putt. You've got the moon. Put the two together and bada-bing bada-boom, you've got Putt-Putt Goes to the Moon! Everything is set up like a…

Now that's what I call a FANTASTIC sequel! Putt Putt Goes to the Moon, builds upon what first Putt Putt made, but ten times better. The premise is now actually fun for both kids n older audience, going to the moon is the classic! The gameplay is now an actual proper adventure, doing tasks and trying to solve puzzles, and not just half of it being chores like in first Putt Putt. And they actually put way more objects to click on, a stable of Humongous Entertainment, which felt absent in the…

I most definitely recommend this to everyone & all, even of a new generation of interactive-adventure game lovers galore. To Me, these interactive adventure games could also be for young adults with learning/educational issues, and not just for youngsters & teens in-between.

Putt-Putt® Goes to the Moon is the fourth stop on my little Nostalgia Tour and happens to be second full Putt-Putt game overall. I never got to play it as a kid, but even with the old Putt-Putt design I still felt waves of nostalgia booting this up. This one is fairly simple with a handful of mini-games and activities that I'm sure are hits with kids, including an arcade cabinet featuring Fatty Bear. Putt-Putt Joins the Parade was eye opening. Life changing. Magical, this game... Even more. It taught me so much about how I needed to change, and my mistakes. I've done a lot wrong, and Putt-Putt helped me realize this, but it also taught the importance of the present. Everyone makes mistakes, and that's okay. All we can do is move on and accept what we did. Thank you again Putt-Putt. Thank you.

i remember this game being a lot more creepy since there were like aliens on the moon and everything, but revisiting it when i'm older made it a more relaxing experience (probably bc the music was nostalgic and also a constant banger) so maybe i was just judgemental as a 6 year old idk. and you know the blue guy who asks if you wanna play alien tag and then gives you moon crystals in slightly-over-drawn-out-unskippable-cut-scenes?? i love that guy he's awesome. also rover is the sweetest thing…

Anyway, I beat this game in less than an hour. It's pretty much how I remembered it to be from my childhood. So with that said, I believe this game would be an excellent choice for younger children. For it's time, and it's style, it's not too bad. It's a healthy improvement on the mini games over the more chore based ones of Joins the Parade, but it's asking price is too much probably still on sale unless you have nostalgia or have a kid who would play this over and over again. I have a lot of nostalgia for this, but it's still a hefty asking price for whta is essentially 30 minutes or so (which includes waiting for actions and dialogue to be done before you can move on). A little kid…

Much more detailed than the first and felt more mature as a game. I think there was overall less things to interact with, but the things you could interact with seemed like they had more attention put into them. My favorite part was the apartments and seeing silly animations for each door. The world also felt a little bigger but I think that just comes down how the scenes were drawn. Play for the same reasons you would play the first game.

Putt Putt Goes to the Moon is the "2001: A Space Odyssey" our time. The contents of this game may appear shallow on a first playthrough. However, like a good book, an engaged player will notice subtle nuances weaved into the very fabric of this Putt Putt cult classic. You're going to need a pretty high IQ to completely comprehend the journey you're about to take. Be prepared for tough puzzles and action-packed minigames. This truly is the Dark Souls of point and click adventure games.

OK so first off this game is a MASSIVE improvement from Joins the Parade. While it still is lacking in the amount of variety when it comes to replays, the little activities and mini-games are all superb. I actually spent a lot longer than I'm willing to admit on the Fatty Bear plane mini-game. There's also one where you can mix and match parts to create a weird looking alien, playing tag with aliens, and finding Pep in a maze (which I also really liked since I love mazes).
