Gameplay-wise it's similar to another popular indie game, OlliOlli. I've played it on Xbox 360 Controller and the controls felt really great, speed control is handled with one button, left stick is used for balancing and right stick is used to do specific tricks in the air. The game is responding to every button press precisely…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Less a big, flashy sports game than a quick, tightly designed bike trick puzzler.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Meh. It's more annoying than fun. Like a '3D Elastomania' in a lot of ways. Where are these huge jumps that the trailer shows? All the starting ones are these tiny little 'timing perfect' hops that take several dozen annoying tries to get through. You could make a great looking stunt but if you land just a hair off, it fails you. If you do land it but you're not somehow going fast enough to continue on over a hill without pedalling, it fails you. You have to make it to the finish every…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tutorial and gameplay is fked up for both controller and keyboard. "press A to.." - I actually have to press B. Keyboard controls don't show. To play the game you need 3 hands (or have to live with the weird controls), so co-op is sort of a requirement. I mean, you have to have your thumbs on both sticks and move the other in a direction to do tricks WHILE awkwardly pressing B. For the ultimate tricks you need to have thumb on both sticks, hold both (usually in a different direction) and…

All you do is ride your BMX on different maps and do stunts. You must press “space” in the right timing and pay attention not to fall on your head. That’s the whole game. Furthermore, the levels look very similar. There are different regions (forest, desert, ice), as in every game in that genre, but the maps were lazily designed. Enjoyable for a couple of hours, but it should be…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The best game I can compare this to is Joe Danger. 2D playing field, while you do stunts and trickss on the obstacles ahead of you. It has a nice calming soundtrack, and the game adds a fair bit of challenge, starting from easy and I would even say insanely hard and frustrating. It has simple, yet stunning visuals. The colors pop out and add that sense of immersion. Tricks vary from form to form, and are either easy, or hard to pull off and chain together.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Feels like a mobile game and the difficulty of the jumps increases way too fast for this to be fun. It becomes a game where there is a particular way to make a jump and if you don't do it in that way, you sit on that level forever. By the 6th or 7th level I keep crashing on the same nearly impossible jump with no way to skip the level. It's just an exercise in frustration. Definitely not worth buying unless you enjoy aggravation. There are plenty of other more enjoyable "platformers" out there.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →To say this game fast-paced is not entirely true. You need pinpoint accuracy to jump and when to come down. If you miss one, your speed will be penalized. And since there is no pedaling in this game, you will always relying to keep your speed by accurately jump and land on the right place. When you land slightly wrong you become slow, then you won't be able to jump to the next ramp. This is really frustrating. I can't recommend this game. Not even on mobile phone.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is really good fun. There are only two cons: Controls (especially for keyboard) and lack of Steam workshop/user-made levels. a) Controls: I haven't tried with a controller, I suppose it's much better. The main flaw with a keyboard is that there are no hints in-game as to what does what. It's simple enough to figure out though: Arrow keys are one stick, WASD are the other stick, shift (either one) is a modifier button and space bar is to take impulse. Once you figure those out,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This definitely feels like a mobile game. From the moment you start the first level. It feels like it has promise though. The goals are challenging. The game takes a few to get use to. Its a time killer game for sure. I got bored after 5 levels since it feels all the same, just different jumps, tricks, goals, and levels.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No customization controls. The developers hate the disabled gamers!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The speed/jumping mechanic is not great, ruins the rest of it. Doesnt matter if you pull of the worlds best stunts, if you miss a millimeter on your next jump you're burnt anyway since the guy cant pedal to pick up speed. Got it in a bundle and that's the only way I can recommend getting it if you must.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was in love with this game for about 7 levels. Then, on level 8, it all fell apart. The game starts off as a seemingly fun, free-style trick performance version of Trials. Each level has three different difficulties which require you to hit different single trick scores, overall scores, and perform a specific trick. The game allows a lot of creativity in how you accomplish the overall score, which allows for some insanely fun trick combos. However, the devil is in the details with this game.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really wanted to like this game, but the controls are just horrible. Diagonal tricks keep registering as one of 4 directions. Tricks only register if you actually do them stand-alone which ruins fun of chaining. The landing speed is weirdly inconsistent (you seem to get more speed from actually landing on one wheel). This together makes getting through some maps an excercise in patience (I just can't finish the last map in the first area, I just cant pull of the 720 combo trick, not enough…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tiny recommendation, definitely an acquired taste for an arcade sports game that bites itself in the butt with some key game elements. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6twKI9T8wes Technically, this BMX game is about pulling off huge tricks like Tony Hawk, but it's actually a lot more about strictly following the rigid level design, much like Trials. Tricks equal failure. Definitely an amazing soundtrack though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really disappointing. You can't even pedal, which is so stupid.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Weird. I'm shocked that the other reviews are not absolutely plagued with complaints about the BMX biker not able to pedal the bike. If you land on an upwards slope with low speed, you can hold "A" to speed up but all the biker does is crouch low and not pedal. So the game says you're going to slow and boom - game over. Anyways I guess that maybe that's just how the game is suppoed to be played. You need to keep your speed up and the biker is not allowed to pedal. I'm trying to get into…

Let's dive into the trick-packed world of Pumped BMX + – a game that not only satisfies the adrenaline junkie in you but also sparks some sweet nostalgia for those glory days of '80s BMX. Remember the freestyler GT? Haro's smooth moves? Schwinn's cruising elegance? Mongoose's rugged rides? Ah, and let's not forget the crown jewel, the GOAT of them all – Skyway. Pros: Pumped BMX + flawlessly blends modern…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →never cared about bmx and tricks and stuff, no idea what half the words mean in this one either, but I like trials-likes. really suck at them and never go for a billion combos and high scores, just try to unlock and finish as many levels as I can before giving up in frustration, ideally right before boiling point. that poor keyboard has suffered enough. this one has a weird control method, wanting you to sit on space to gain momentum and let go when a jump needs to happen, and an I assume…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Somehow I feel that the control scheme ruins the whole game... I'l stick to Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX or Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX... Or Steam related game: Descenders... Yeah, not the same price and quality category, but hey...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game doodoo
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun trials like idea in itself, ruined by the fact that trick-targets are wayyyyy to specific. Doing a manual after a target trick causes the trick not to be counted, which is kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is one of those games that I have not expected to get my attention for a longer period of time. Then I noticed how wrong I was and how addictive the game is indeed. Well, Pumped BMX+ is kind of a Tony Hawk's game. In 2.5D. And on BMX. You can do a huge amount of different tricks and tons of combinations of them. You get points for doing the tricks and there are tasks to be done - every level has 10 of them in total. The thing that many players can be discouraged of is a difficulty. Once…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pumped BMX + is a really fun game and, if considered a real BMX-game, by far the best I know. The controls feel really well, tricks are explained super easily in the help menu and it's not hard to play 'n learn. When getting the hang of it, it starts to make more and more fun. A really good amount of level offer a good challenge for every type of gamer. Also the game includes a small portion of cosmetics, meaning that there are like 10 different bikes and 10 different clothes to pick from,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's ok. Not worth the full price. I would only recommend it at 75% off the full price, or more.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Feels both like a mobile port AND a VERY poor man's Trials wannabe. Removed from account it was so just...meh.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dude... I played this on mobile for like years before, during, and after high school and let me tell you, I DIDN'T EVEN HAVE TO PRACTICE when I started playing on pc. All of my muscle memory somehow has transferred from touch controls to wasd and its exactly how i remember playing. This game is amazing and i guess it really doesn't matter what you play this on its awesome.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lots of the game play in this game is just replaying old levels.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Expected a fast paced game. Instead, I found it slow and boring. It feels like a game you'd expect to find free.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have been playing it for a few days now and I find that the controls are not what they are said. It is impossible for me to change between trick styles, and although I could play the game without worrying about this I try to perfect games and won't be able to do so. The tutorial says " Press and hold Right (an icon of an up arrow)/Left (same icon) to switch to t2. I have pressed right and up, left and up. left, right, up, down, w, a, s, d, even thought those are tricks. Nothing. It wouldn't…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you can get it in the sale then I would. I can ONLY play it in windowed mode and most of the later levels are inaccessible due to not being able to build up enough speed to finish courses and forget about trying to nail the level specific tricks because you can't get enough air. Buy Trials!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The inability to change controls makes this a no-go for kb/mouse players.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I hate this game's challenges, 4 hours for a challenge. It's impossible to complete the game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Soooo much fun. Very simple to learn and lot to master. Very good flow and quick gameplay. Everything I imagined it to be. I love the tricks and they all look VERY clean and real. Great job dev. 9/10 only because the Xbox controller doesnt work out of the box. Keyboard controls were very good though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For a Port to PC this remains a really fun little gem. Here is a few noteworthy things: The controls takes quite a while to get used, in all honesty that part really makes the game hard until you managed to get used tot them, then the game is just really challenging afterwards. The levels are pretty much the same as they were with minor changes but nothing unique, the game is pure port at this stage. The full controller support really makes the game super fun on the PC. Quite an unique 2D-…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →nice budget trials
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a sports/bike riding/stunt simulator which seems to have been ported from mobile/console. By pressing various key combinations at various times, you can perform different stunts and jump over ramps and obstacles to progress through each level. Unfortunately no effort was made to fix the control configurations when porting to PC, there's no keyboard mappings so you have to guess what you're supposed to be doing while the game prompts you to press controller buttons (even if you don't…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Clean, crisp, cute, and very challenging. This is actually a lot of fun, but don't expect the depth of Tony Hawk, or Skate. Originally, I was going to write about how this game feels like a mobile game, but, lo and behold, it's actually a port of a mobile game! Don't let that deter you, though! This is a fun game if you've only got 15 or 20 mins to spare, and just want to jump right in. It's easy to progress through the levels, while still maintaining plenty of of challenges for people who…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The controls make no sense what so ever. It's unplayable
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Was hoping for something like trials with tricks, but that's not the case. In this game, you do jumps and ride down slopes while doing tricks. The problem is there is no pedaling at all. You need to use momentum during entire level or you fail. If you don't have perfect momentum and can't climb the hill, make the jump, etc, you lose and must restart the level all over again. Confusingly on some parts when you land on a raised platform you can't use the speed up button. Also even if you are…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really want to like the game... HA HA, as I want to like every game, I payed for! ;P God, I hate this "I really want to like"-crap. Isn't it OBVIOUS? Why in the world should I buy a game, which I want to hate??? Simple, not really configurable, missing a levelrestart option, Chibi-gfx (looks like on Wii). Fun for a short time. But for me swearing came already at the last level of area one, where u have to jump from ramp to ramp to ramp. I would like to fokus more on tricks and refinement…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game if you like games like trials games. it is very realistic with good physics and has pretty much all of the tricks you would want.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →backflip decade + tailwhip + grind, just the usual combo you see kids doing down your local skatepark. 10/10 for realism bois
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Do you even ride bro ? Stop being a poser and spin those bars !
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun and addictive. The achievements and level goals give you a good sense of satisfaction haha. If you're a fan of BMX or want to challenge yourself; this is the game for you.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →very very epic and it has a great soundtrack
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pile of hot steaming uninspired garbage.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is hands-down the best game available on the market, with by far the best soundtrack. If you decide not to buy this game, you are missing out on some of the best moments of your life.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TrapazaurusFlex approves! Fun and Frustrating at the same time
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing game 5*
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I can see how some people might like this kind of game but I was not one of them.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No speed is this a demo I just paid for really
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Completed all easy challenges on all game modes, and all medium and hard challenges on the first 3 game modes in under 4 hours. Had a lot of fun doing so. Bought it on sale for €2, would recommend if on sale for €5 or less. Full price of €10 is a little much for the content.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Epic BMX Tricks
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is so funny that makes you happy!!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Easy to learn, hard to master. gets surprisingly hard to maintain speed; still fun though. nice soundtrack and classy crashes =D
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Relaxing and satisfying game, specially when you get those perfect landings after a huge stunt combo
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Better than God of War.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →easy to play, hard to master. but fun all the same. throw some music on and just jam. great fun for the price
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What a nice mini game! I am playing with a controller and the game is just smooth and super fun! It's hard but it really feels great when you smash that combo you've been trying after failing 20+ times! I wish there was more to this game though, like character progression, more modes, etc. If you own a controller and you can get it in a promotion... just get it!! :)
