60 of 165 · most liked firstthat was the last time I bought this game. I've been a devoted fan since 2008, but the latest installments are more buggy than the previous ones. Enough! I sincerely wish the Eversim company ruin, and that its employees, such hand-assed people, should not be hired anywhere!

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I BEG YOU, DO NOT BUY THIS GAME! Its full of bugs, developers doesnt take care of them and each year they sell you a new game with small addons but bugs not fixed. Its such a shame, because the idea is great. I have so much hours on the game because I've tried different countries to see if all of them are bugged. China is bugged, India is bugged, Germany bugged...and so on. DONT BUY IT!!!!! DONT!!!!!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I’ve spent 65 hours “beta testing” GPS5. That’s time I gave in good faith, hoping Eversim would finally deliver on their promises to fix the long-standing bugs that have plagued this series for years. They said GPS5 would be the turning point. They even set up a “community” Discord, but only accessible after buying the game, effectively hiding feedback and complaints behind a paywall. Now they’ve officially confirmed that version .18 is the last major update. That’s it. No real fixes, no…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am very angry at the game's way of dealing with the rest of the non-Western world And this despite playing this game from 2019 But this particular version is very, very unpleasant Playing with these countries is about managing them from a Western point of view Just tell me why rejecting homosexuality in non-Western countries is against modernity and development, and why all countries of the world should follow the Westerners in accepting transgender people. Why are monarchies considered…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Built 33 tanks as Sweden and now my growth is 180% and the tank industry is 50% of my economy. Good lord. They can't make this game work if you give them 180 years to figure it out. Imagine achieving hyperinflation by building 33 tanks. This would be such a good game if it was functional.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I want to start out by saying that this game is a great idea, i had a lot of fun playing up until a point. After playing this game and past versions i started to master it. It takes quite an effort to stabilize the economy by making investments, budgetary and tax adjustments to achieve a GDP Surplus, Strong Currency and Low Inflation. I played with a few countries up until now Romania, Syria, North Korea, Saudi Arabia. This game has a lot of potential but unfortunately it also has a lot of…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have been playing this series since Geopolitical Simulator 3 - Masters of the World, and I've played both the 2019 and the 2021 of this fourth edition. This game was always a one-of-a-kind experience, albeit a very buggy mess of one. The 2023 version is basically a carbon copy of the 2021 version (which itself was almost a carbon copy of the 2019 version), with additional issues that really demonstrate the lack of depth in this game. The way the economy works in this game makes no sense at…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game has a lot of bugs and the company doesn't seem interested in solving them. I tried to postpone my review but since I have no signs of an update on the reported bugs...I'm sorry...Here are a few of the bugs: - sometimes the game go crazy and the national consumption of electricity surges day by day which causes the population to riot and is game over. I think this happens from nationalizing military industry, not sure though. - the spying reports from secret service said that the person…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gather round and let me tell you the story of Danny Campese, prime minister of Australia 2023 – 2040. It all began with the announcement that Covid was no longer a threat to the world and it’s people, the public were ready to get back on track with their lives and build Australia to be a country that is fit for becoming a major player on the world scene and at the head of it all was their glorious leader Danny Campese. First order was to get the economy back on track and bring a surplus to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →buggy, frustrating and not even realistic Forget economic simulation btw. only way to boost gdp is by grinding economic contracts for every good just as if you were a company or everything was stateowned. Despite contracts, economic forecasts that are predetermined for every country determine your economic growth. You can see this in the modding tool. Too many things are just there, buggy as hell and dont have meaningful consequences. There is also no meaningful diplomacy in the game. The…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my thoughts on this game, especially for fans of geo-political genres. While the game concept is intriguing, it's marred by technical issues like crashes and display bugs, such as the budget showing as "J#11" or similar unreadable formats. Additionally, the AI's decision-making can be frustratingly unrealistic. For example, in one scenario, despite heavy sanctions, Russia managed to build over 100 onshore wind projects. The financial…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Worst Version Yet full of bugs when playing Australia . Not Playable
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is probably the most buggy franchise that has ever existed, yet it is the only 'world simulator' that features so many different aspects that we want in this kind of simulator. It is far from being a polished and finished game, and they always abandon every version after a few updates. I'd go as far as to call every Power and Revolution game 'alpha' (not even 'beta'), as there are too many different issues that break the game completely. The 2023 version is indeed the best version in…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good concept, but a buggy mess of a nightmare
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game does not deserve the hate its getting. This game is great, I have played all the other ones except 2021-2022 because i hate the covid mechanics but this one is worth it. For all those that are saying the game is completely bugged or unplayable are the folks that do not know what they are doing and\or using cheats that break the game parameters... I have a guide on how not to bug out your game, i also have gone in depth on the forums to show people how to play. The game is not…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Every Year I buy this game. Every year it disappoints. Last year I spent a long time contacting Customer Support informing them of bugs and error's with the game and this year i had hoped after that investment of time the game would be better. Unfortunately it did not. The game has similar issues to every year. For example Subsidising Farms which are nationalised errors stating the activity must have employees even though there are over 100,000 employees. War is randomly started by an…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played for 13 hours and the game is now broken.. EVERSIM - how are you even allowed to create games after all of this.. I want a refund.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game would actually be fantastic if the creators would have not based the entire world on a Ultra Left Progressive Socialists mindset. Like previous installments the only way to govern with positive outcomes is from a woke progressive left perspective. They created a right wing domestic terrorist group but nothing on the left. The right wing politicians mostly have corrupt modifiers and the left are more pure lol lol. You have to pass a social credit score to participate in certain…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Game is in my opinion, content wise, the best of all they have made BUT the bugs are horrendous. The economical dynamics are still REALLY bad made, especially unemployment und inflation skyrocket without any reason from time to time... Also when you´re at war, the peace treaty event just doesn´t fire and the countries with which you were at war just stay occupied unless someone else defeats you. When you colonise a nation and go to war, they just get free again... just why? But the worst of…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has the same crashes and bugs after a few hours of gameplay as the version of 2022, wich had the same chrashes and bugs after a few hours of gameplay as the version 2021,wich had the same chrashes and bugs after a few hours of gameplay as the version 2020. Basically the only question when playing a longer game (2-3 ingame years) is WHAT bug will ruin the game. 2023 version did not improve on that whatsoever. Frankly, this game is a scam. The game in its current state is just…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you like political strategy then pass by. Usually they say about the game that "a game with bugs", but about this one it's more true "bugs with a small amount of time when everything works as intended". Here, bugs can be due to everything: increased spending on education - get a bug, signed a new contract - get a bug, built gas fields - get a bug, participate in a war with a NATO ally while managing AI of your army - get a bug that you attacked an ally and hit your country from the whole…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don't buy any version of this game, I've played some version of this games, All version is suck.. no worth for selling. This scammer has sell trash. #KingOfBugGame
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As many others have said, the game has many bugs and crashes. The game is fun for my amount of playtime (about 10 hours) at which point you will get frustrated and leave it. Hopefully we get some other developers to create in this genre soon!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It has a lot of things to fix, but i love this game, a little expensive for what it is but if they added a few more things like a central bank, more control and actions on currency and more content on the economic level, like food stamps and allowing Co-Ops. or community owned business instead of just private owned and state owned, theres a lot more i'd love to see them add or make in the game, but i don't wanna talk anybodys ears off about it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I actually do not mind paying its steep price after I tried it for few hours. Worth it, and loved it. I am quite tolerable about bug, but there are tons of them; making the game literally unplayable. Such a waste of potential, I'm not disappointed anymore, just sad.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Buggy, non-descriptive. I was at 92% popularity. I won the election with an 80% majority. Day ONE, Minute ONE of taking power my popularity dropped randomly to 50% ('Taking power' was the reason) and there were protests because of "Political opposition to regliion of the majority"...WHAT DOES THAT MEAN!? I also immediately had a phone call from the advisor. I did nothing in the next few days because I was waiting for the AI to offer to appoint cabinet for me. Before the AI even offered, I…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Yandere sim of political sim games. Need I say more? Been playing since 2019 version and its a good concept/idea.. Only issue is the bugs, outdated gameplay graphics. Every year they rebundle the same crap and put a new title on it and add a few new features.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I would absolutely not recommend this game to anyone. I like the game, and I have been playing it for years. That being said, the same bugs that were around when I first started playing the game are still around today. I do not know if Eversim can't, doesn't know how to, or just doesn't want to fix the bugs but it is awful. Not to mention, they try to introduce new features every year, which introduces new bugs, which just compounds on bugs from last year and previous years new features. This…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Has a solid base but the bugs makes it unplayable.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is full of bugs and it seems that the developers are not going to fix them
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a broken mess. Cannot even load my saves. It just crashes.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →bad game with bad devs not really caring about it too much despite the potential. Stupid price as well
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Best version actually. Buy it, dont be afraid, it will give you what you want.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The two new mechanics immigration and illegal employment neither one work; just as every year none of this developers ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ideas pan out do yourself a favor and let them go bankrupt it isn't worth it to buy the same 2010 engine year after year for them to laugh at us.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the same game seriously we need new stuff not only military
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In my opinion this is the worst edition to the Geopolitical Simulator library yet and people interested in it are better off not buying it and if you're invested in the series, you're better off buying an earlier game. This game is filled with so many coding errors it's an astronomical understatement. I only managed to get one game session to work for a few hours and that was after managing to get a handle on the game crashes, bugs, and dealing with a perpetual "lag" effect the game has for me.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →P&R23 is a very funny game, I put around 429 hours into 2022, and recently upgraded to the 2023 version [the year is 2026 while I write this]. If you go to the subreddit its all people complaining about the bugs and dev team, and on the steam reviews its the same thing, but all of the negative reviews of this game have one thing in common: *You all have over 100 hours playing the game (some have over 2000 hours)* This is hands down the best geopolitical simulator that exists available to the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →still ass, but I mean. hey. they added more for the modding tool lol
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Too many Bugs not enough support from the Dev on that regard, the only update release happen when the game came out since nothing, really?? i will NOT buy any other edition until i'm 100% confident that they're supporting this game properly with the updates fixes needed to fix all the freaking bugs!! Don't believe me check the support history from Dev on this game and compare to any other game on here super pathetic from this the Dev to say the least!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First I have yet to see any real aid into understanding the mechanics of this game which makes it hard to tell if things are working correctly or not. Second, fix the bugs. I was playing as Afghanistan in an A to Z style to enjoy the game but I am being given problems that will never be fixed. I have yet to even make it past the first country because there is little effort in helping the player. This game has so much promise...... I will wait until your next release to give an update on this…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I actually disagree with most of the people hating on this game. This game feels very buffed up. I think people are disliking it because of it's past history tbh. This edition has a ton of cool features. You can expand peacefully now aswell. Been playing for a bit and haven't had a game breaking bug yet. Thumbs up for it being a good step forward. I actually am really liking it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →one of the best and worst games ive ever played. w
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i don't recommend,so many bugs and lagging for a simple game ofc doesn't worth the price one of the worse games i'v ever played
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Glitchy, great potential but horrible execution. Awkward language use and completely unrealistic military and economic realities. Truly a terrible game, it's like a time capsule to 2012.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The ecologist guy who supposedly "likes me" with extra green face starts hunger strikes after hunger strikes. That destroys my approval rating to 50% per hunger strike. Despite me having maxed out everything in environment tab. Despite me having reduced CO2 emissions from 38 mtones to 4 mtones. Despite me having constructed the infrastructure to capture this irrelevant 4mtones. From economic point of view, I like this game really much. But such things overshadow everything...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game has tons of bug, compare to 2020 is better, but alot of crashes, if you annex too much or go to war too much the game prob will crash and save be broken.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A bugfest. If you play any country, your electricity deficit would skyrocket that there is no way, even cheating would be able to fix this. Other players experienced the same issue and many people have sent the dev emails on this matter but to date, there is no patch that fixes this.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Still buggy as ♥♥♥♥, I guess if you don't own the 2022 edition, I guess its worth it if you wanna pay the insane price given they release the same game basic game every year... However if you own the 2022 edition, lol no.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →love the idea of the game 1 of my fav but every year seems to be worse ill make a mod and it just lags i use to do a dnd night with my 2 friends on this but currently cant becouse of the bugs
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →1. Being a member of WTO 2. Set custom duties on import products against WTO members 3. WTO warns about custom duties 4. Neither the event of WTO warning nor the game reminds me of what custom duties I have set up (so I can remove them all) 5. Excluded from WTO and forbidden from trade agreement with WTO members 10/10 would buy again
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don't know what you'd expect from this company. More of the same, extra couple cool buttons, but ultimately a broken, buggy mess EDIT: For anger's sake, let's list every bug I've found in this version so far! - A nationalized sector will sometimes default to 0 salary and 0 employees, forcing you to privatize and subsidize for more production. - A nationalized sector will sometimes not shut down permanently when you set employees to 0. - A year of culture can sometimes cancel itself out. -…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was really disappointed with the Power and Revolution 2023 edition. The 2019 version, in my opinion, was far superior because everything felt more unified and balanced. In this new edition, it seems like there's a clear bias, especially when it comes to the way gender is treated. You can choose to support women, but never men. There’s a for exampel the option on workplace discrimination against women, which, while important, makes it seem like men are being ignored or overlooked. It feels…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Please fix the inflation bug in this game, inflation makes this game unplayable. Spend some time and redesign the formula you use for inflation the current calculation method is buggy, you cant take poorer countries out of poverty without crashing your economy in the process and having social security cost go out of control @eversim
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have been playing this game a lot and enjoy it very much. There is however one thing i would really like the developers to improve. Your ability to improve your relationships with other countries. If you are friends with a nation, you have the practical options such as signing trade agreements, immigration agreements, and science cooperation's. However, it is almost impossible to build or repair relationships with countries that see you as an enemy (Such as china when playing as the USA).…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought he 2016 game back in the day and bought the 2023 version while it was discounted. I've played several years in the 2023 game, it hasn't crashed, been very stable and many of the annoying interface bugs have been removed. Comparing the 2016 to 2023 games I'd say the game has made massive progress and improved, highly recommended.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game. Far from pertect but each time it's better. And you have a discount if you got the previous version.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love political & war sims. Decided to give this a try, despite all the warnings about bugs. They didn't come up much at first, but then by the year 2036, and after 137 hours playing the game, it became unusable and won't proceed to the next day, nor can the game be saved. So I'm always going back to the previous month, simming a month, and eventually it happens again. Uninstalling, and not likely to buy an Eversim game again. Thx for the memories!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I understand why people still dislike the game. It's still very buggy and it's far from finished, BUT they did a lot with the 2023 version that makes me recommend it now.
