negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the thing with Pool Nation is that there's only a few venues but they're also maybe the cleanest playing areas you'll ever see in a fucking billiards game
unlabelledView post →Game was great back when it was released. Good pool sim with different modes of gameplay. But now, despite trying multiple fixes and a lack of optimization for modern systems, the game is unplayable. I tried contacting the devs for support, but haven't heard a thing. Too bad.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →game sucks it might as well be a browser game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You play using a long, thin stick called a cue to hit a white ball. The goal is to knock other coloured and balls into the holes around the table called pockets. You take turns against your opponent hitting this cue ball, trying to put one of your assigned balls into one of the pockets. If you successfully do this, you keep playing. If you miss or make a mistake, the other player takes over. This is an interesting ball game, which appears to be played on a table covered in some kind of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Excellent pool game that plays better than I anticipated. Backspin, topspin etc all there. Responsive controls No loading screens Cruisy AI Physics are good (Ball roll a little slow but it's fine) Pick up and play (like a pro!) Multiple venues Multiple game types 4k 100hz smooth as silk. One aspect that I would like to mention which is just great is how there is no downtime between shots, matches, menus etc. This is a streamlined game design which i appreciate. An impressive pool game and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So far, this is my favourite pool game and the only thing stopping me from buying Cue Club 2. Unlike its successor (Pool Nation FX), it runs amazingly on my Steam Deck and isn’t convoluted. However, I do wish it had more content in terms of game modes, skins, and customizations. This may sound cheesy, but both the locations and the music are pure vibes. The locations in particular look like Frutiger Aero, similar to Windows Vista and 7. The game just gives off those early-2000s,…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not a bad Pool game, owned it for a while now.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm kinda, like, profoundly enamored with this thing. I'll employ some amount of reservation here by not speaking entirely in superlatives because I've yet to try Pool Nation FX - which I hope is at least every bit as good as this one - but also, this is just about the best billiards game I've played in... ever? Point I want to make straight away, before anything else: The atmosphere and the aesthetic are both lovely as all hell. I've played a good amount of frames with a few friends, and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Better than PPP. MUCH better!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fantastic billiards game with realistic physics, great visuals, and challenging gameplay that provides endless hours of fun for both casual and serious players.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Yeah, get THIS Pool Game! Pay for it now while its on Sale!! Forget that free-to-play Real Pool 3D game that people are saying you have to pay after a certain amount of time. i just got done playing 2 matches in the single player mode and I love it. Different venues, Relaxing music, multiple shot angles, controller friendly..... it's all you'll need!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The older and PAID version of a game which has since been released with a newer FREE client. There's little reason to pay for this instead, especially now that it has been abandoned by the devs for the newer version. Even before it became outdated, the controls always felt off.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If any old 90's Fx player's want a 98% same thing this is it enough said tbh.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →All very well but no one to play against.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you wanna play pool on the computer this game is one of the best. The assists can be turned off if you prefer but I love how they let me feel like a pool pro capable of neat trick shots.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have been playing this game off and on for years. I love how simple it is to get up and playing. The physics and controls feel super intuitive. The AI seems a little silly, but good enough. I love the sound track and a couple of the songs just lift me up every time I play it. It’s one of those games that I reach for when I want some easy entertainment and I always walk away with a smile and uplifted mood. I highly recommend it if you like pool and just want a simple no fluff game…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Holy crap, everything in the UX is like the worst thing possible. - Can't use ESC in menus - Took me 7 tries to get two human players because I had no idea what I was selecting - Turned off aim assist, but apparently that didn't work for the other player. Like why is this so stupid? Why is this game so needy? Do what I want and get out of the way. I got so annoyed with the garbage UX that I just Alt F4 and uninstalled. Great job.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →EN: Pool Nation: the Holy Grail of pool games. Forget all the German simulators, here you’ll find everything you’ve been looking for. In Pool Nation, you can play with one hand and hold your soda or any other non-alcoholic drink in the other hand. Warning: any consumption of alcohol or obscene gestures made with your free hand will result in a fine of 15,000 € and a 5-year prison sentence for any person of color. For anyone with lighter skin than the main character in the game (Adibou 2), this…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →somehow, a game from a decade ago, both plays AND looks better than all other pool/billiard games released since, and on top of all that, it's significantly cheaper than any of them!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i didn't think it would play this much, the beautiful game is very good for the price
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game crashes after 2 minutes. No obvious cause or error message. I'm on a Core i-5 10600K with 16GB ram and RTX 3070 Ti. I tried installing on my older laptop, but game does not launch at all. That machine has a Core i-5 7300HQ with 8GB ram and GTX 1050.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a fine game, only one in the series I've played but there's no one online (but I'd be interested) Pros: 3D Pool Game (including 3D physics!) Online mode allows you to set a minimum aimline level Cons: Not much singleplayer content; when you finish the tournaments you're probably done Online is mostly dead
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game, like it's "FX Lite" version, is also a massive piece of s**t. If you try to put the game in any resolution above 1920x1080, it will crash and keep crashing forever. I never made it past the main menu, except when it was in that resolution. The two minutes I spent actually playing it, made me want to shove scissors in my ears and icepicks in my eyes. I would rather instantly receive Stage 6 Stomach Cancer, Ebola, and AIDs, all at once, along with 27 parking tickets and a foreclosure…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →SHORT REVIEW : in a market lacking this kind of game, Pool Nation is a small gem in the genre, the best choice for every lover of pool and all its variations. Simple overall, but it has everything you need to enjoy some pool games from time to time. > Gameplay ( 7.0 / 10 ) : the game offers many versions of pool to play, with a long campaign mode where you need to complete special objectives in addition to simply winning a game (like difficult shots or special tricks) to obtain stars and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →DAYMN I played 44 hours?! yeah yeah I recommend it! just beware, I find the power control to be too sensitive and finicky with both mouse and controller, I prefer Pool Nation FX for that, otherwise, I would prefer this one ANYY day.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Crazy how difficult it is to just straight up get a good pool game. You would think they are abundant. Lotta weak F2P garbage out there. This one has everything. I'll consider investing in the DLC for the trickshots stuff.... There's already nice extra goodies in the base game and many modes and tours and the physics are cool, like there's some shots I can do in real life, that's I'm figuring out how to replicate in the game. Its not a $40 game, I always have to mention that caveat of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm sure 99% of people don't read the reviews. So you may not know that Naruto can be a bit harsh sometimes. You may not know this, but Naruto also grew up without a father. In fact, he never met either of his parents and never had any friends.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I liked the game. Also the steam trading cards are goofy. Now for a story. As a kid I played pool nation and was sinking these outrageous impossible shots. And it got me super excited about playing pool in real life, so I went to my local youth activities center with my best friend and asked to play a game of pool. But my friend hung out there every day after school before his dad picked him up after like 2 hours and I hadn't considered that he was goated at pool, because he presumably played…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Re-installed recently, and it's still a quirky, fun, entertaining game. It's simple to learn, hard to master. It offers a bundle of game types, settings, AI characters to beat for perks, free play, online play, tournaments; it's got it all! (Except the secrets behind trick shots - oh, they explain it, but 125 hours into it and I still can't make a jump shot to save my life; and positioning? Let's not go there. Great game to have in your collection.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Play With My Balls
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A pretty solid pool game honestly, physics feels good, graphics and sounds are clean and everything just works Online doesn't have that many players anymore but after almost 10 hours I had a good time with it, simple game to launch when you just want to chill and kill some time
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →game is okay for casual single-player, but multiplayer is dead, the very thing we enjoyed miniclip pool for years edit: actually the freedom to set angle of the cue to make jump and swerve shots is great... imagine if we could do that in multiplayer!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great casual game for chillin' out. I probably should read the rules for jump shots and such. Have not exploited one fraction of the game and I'm still quite satisfied. Old tech, but plenty good.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great Pool Game !!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is unplayable. It loads, then it goes to "Enumerating downloadable content, please wait". The game then closes. Worst game ever. Unfortunately I bought it years ago and am just now getting to play it, so no refund :(
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game to lose yourself into your music while playing.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No resolution settings so looks horrible on modern displays.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Why is the resolution so weird? Why is there no way to change the resolution in the settings?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →nice little game you can drop into to pass some time....
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's okay. Wonky camera mechanics and controls. Stupid "kill cam" type thing everytime the ball is about go into a pocket. Lots of stuttering, and I'm on a decent gaming pc. For the price it's good, in general I do not recommend this pool game. The pool game I play on my smartphone is more engaging than this.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am a 45 yo father, probably one of the oldest people playing this game. I am a single father to my Son, who is 14 now. My son got this game from his uncle, so we installed it on his computer and he started playing. By the end of the week he had 24 hours on this game. This was horrible for me, as it was already hard for me to find ways to spend time with my son, as he is always out with his friends or just watching YouTube. So I decided to make a Steam account and get this game to see if I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty good pool game, could do with less hipster design and music but solid gameplay nontheless. It has plenty of game modes including an 9-Ball campaign, an 8-Ball campaign, trick tables, endurence mode, local multiplayer against another player or AI and online multiplayer. I only really care for 8-Ball so I completed that campaign and barely played anything else, but if you like any of the listed modes, you will find enough to do.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun. Interesting game physics, probably as true to life as I've played in an arcade setting. Great game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played this game when it was first out, best pool game i've played (except on NES lol), community was active and I could play online, but after a while people stopped playing? Now I see they added VR compatibility, I wonder if we can play online
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Best pool sim I've ever seen. Beautifully put together game. I'm super happy with it. The tutorials will even teach you how to do trick shots in real life, if you pay close attention (practice would, of course, be required).
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →When you start playing, you might think the controls are kind of garbage, but if you stick with it, you'll find that once you're adjusted, the game is actually pretty great! Nice visuals (but not too flashy or time-consuming for animations), great soundtrack and painless online play. There are not a lot of options for straight-up pool on Steam, and I think this is the current #1. Also, the price helps, for the cost, you get a lot of value here with many different game modes including a pretty…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Chill music, great game, only played it with friends, no idea what online is like
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Probably one of the better 3D pool games out there. The physics and controls are pretty solid.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pool Nation is a cue sports simulation developed and published by Cherry Pop Games that aims to deliver one of the most authentic digital pool experiences available. Rather than relying on flashy arcade mechanics, the game focuses on recreating the skill, strategy, and precision of real-life billiards. From the moment players step onto the virtual table, it becomes clear that the developers invested significant effort into creating a title that respects the sport while still offering enough…
