Subscription system & raising prices, really - for this old game and the DLCs?!?! So this is your attempt to make some money after ruining Payday 3. How pathetic to treat your players/fans like this... F*** these devs!!

Thumbs up, just for optimising the game size from 88 GB to 35 GB. Besides the free 64bit engine upgrade with directx 11. More devs need to learn customers reciprocate respect. Now keep patching bugs and you might survive as a company.

There are a few things that are certain in life. I can think of three from the top of my head - everyone will eventually die, I'll never 100% PAYDAY 2, and I'll never be able to afford all of it's DLCs no matter how much I work in my life. It has more buttons to press on a regular game than an Airbus A380 needs to fly, but when you somehow hit all the right ones at the right time and sequence, it is a lot of fun

Brilliant game, terrible management. Subscription for DLC is scam, you can acquire all of them via mods (including the deleted weapons you can no longer obtain) for FREE.

The downfall of the Payday franchise should be studied. I've sunk so much time and money into this game because I genuinely used to love it (yes even the broken drills) but between bad business practices, dlc (in 2026 AFTER PAYDAY 3), the infamous subscription and Payday 3. I can't support this anymore. It's not jumping on the hate train, it's watching something I love die.

Hows my Ultimate edition going? The final one-time purchase of the game? I spent a lot of money on this game before 'Ultimate edition' released.. And Ultimate Edition had a full games price on top of what you already payed for the main game and DCL's etc. I GOT IT. I thought 'Hey that nice of you, cause both my friends and I spent our asses off on your game' We were a bunch of guys playing all the time, playing the hell out of it too. This track is called "Le Castle Vania: Infinite Ammo (Assault)"! Payday 2 was an awesome game! The heists were a blast to play through, and the Assault Waves were intense and thrilling! The game also had a crazy amount of content, and the OST absolutely slapped! It was a super fun game to play!

Leadership manages PD3 so bad, they have to create a new tax on PD2 players. You can get it dirt cheap in keystores (and the dlcs) , don't feed greedy trolls that mismanage their companies and is losing 5+ million euro a year because of bad management.

Half of the game is actually DLC, and they have the nerve to price it at 70£...(an 11 year old game's DLC...and on "sale"... in this economy...) The gameplay is stretched out and most of the missions are the same/ they get boring quick, rewards are minimal, and the cops spawn like ants with guns I must have merked at least half the Earth's population in game by now...and they were all cops...who would've thought and what are the odds? A gun I loved using back in the day all of a sudden became unusable unless I join the official community group on steam, or make a Starbreeze Nebula account. Unfollowing the steam group disables the gun again. It is sad that many people are born into this world and think that these anti-consumer practices are normal. Taking away freedoms we used to have before, so that the developer can more easily collect our data or advertise to us. I have no trust in this game's developers.

This game was great, but I don't have a second mortgage to buy everything. This game costs like 10 bucks for all dlcs is ~200, that is a 2000% increase. Jesus Christ Overkill, the full price of your game with dlcs should not exceed its original price, if you need a subscription to trade off the costs of your dlcs then you have an issue. Also the devs have like the most brain dead ideas for licensing like they lose scarface license fine, but take out half of the dlc like the character perk deck…

It is definitely one of the five games with the best player communities. I had unknowingly started a really difficult mission while playing online. Just as I was about to give up in failure, someone joined me and took out the enemies as if flying through the air. For every successor, there's a legacy. What if the legacy is better than the successor? That's how I see Payday 2, a better game than its counterpart, Payday 3. I can mention 100 reasons why I like Payday 2 more, but these are the main reasons so far: - More weapon choices. From the common Assault Rifle to the special weapon like MA-17 Flamethrower. - More difficulties. Overkill is a child's play for you? Death Sentence is the answer. - If you can wear Infamy like a crown, try reaching 100…

PD2 is a fast action, objective oriented, arena shooter with strong cooperative elements and a plethora of weapons to choose from that caters to those with no skill and elitists alike. PD2 is also a stealth based heist game with strong mess up multiplying consequences that’s best played solo unless you’re a genuine masochist. Pros: A huge variety of things to do,…

Game is genuenly enjoyable with a great deal of depth added to it. You have a massive selection of weapons, many of which can be kitted out heavily. Perk Decks and Skills give the player the ability to hard focus on a certain playstile of their choosing. It is a legitimately good game. Issues that I have: - Snipers are DLC, like all of them. Some can be unlocked through achievements, but the achievements require you to own a sniper to begin with. - Shotguns are just bad, with the player…

My favourite was how silencers worked in PAYDAY 2, which just reduced the size of a "Noise" cylinder the game cast around the player. This meant a guard directly above or below the player could hear a silenced gunshot, even if they were multiple floors away.
