60 of 150 · most liked firstI played this game for 5 hours and here's what I think: The game is boring. Customers keep offering the same items over and over again. Sometimes, customers bring back the exact same things one after another. The variety of items is minimal, which makes the game feel stale. There's also no point in expanding your shop or buying furniture—two cabinets are enough. The maximum I could find for sale was four items. I was convinced it was EA, but then I saw it was the full version, and I strongly…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game very quickly gets out of balance. I bought 10 display cases and a bunch of stuff for holding items just to end up with 3-5 max at a time. There’s simply not enough items coming in for you to have any real need for more than 2 display shelves the entire game. Fun game overall, I did enjoy the beginning but now I feel as if there’s nothing left to do after just a few hours.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think it's a really good game. but it needs employees, a security guard. not enough time to serve customers when someone robs the store
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don't buy it, it's not worth it. The game has a nice premise but falls flat on execution. Customers always bring the same items, and anything you buy sells in under 5 minutes. This means the starting displays are more than enough, leaving your store looking bare with zero reason to expand. I found more use for storage shelves for pawned items than for my actual sales floor. This is a full release, not Early Access, yet it feels incomplete. Avoid this one.... it'll probably be abandoned anyway.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the most successful trading games I've ever seen, definitely worth the money.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pawnbroker Simulator could be fun, but boy oh boy, does the game really show it's weakness when you have to handle every piece that walks through the door. You can't just simply refuse to accept something or the seller gives a bad rating. Customer satisfaction is a real pain in the bum, and it makes the game not fun after a short time. I think in a lot of ways the game should be simplified, being able to automatically deal with customers or set prices and have items added to the shelves without…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Summary: A game where you just can’t please anyone. Long version: I hesitated for a long time about what rating to give, but I’ve ultimately concluded that I cannot give a positive review in its current state. The game has a solid concept, but it’s poorly balanced. Your rating is based on several factors, one of which is customer satisfaction—meaning whether you buy/sell an item at all and whether the price is to their liking. Unfortunately, more than two-thirds of the customers I got during…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Kinda disappointed in the game especially since its not early access and it is a full release meaning it probably wont change much. It quickly gets repetitive as customers bring in same items into the store and your ratings/rep is dependent on making sure you do make a deal with literally everyone... like I have people come in early game asking thousands for their items.. There is also this ridiculous mini game it has just to repair every single items. you do not have to do it but its the best…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →best i can do review wise is...5 hot dogs and a high five. I feel like Rick Wilson and Chumlee playing this. I am having a blast playing this
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Review: Mixed On the one hand it is a lot of fun in the beginning. Problem: Fun does not scale into "late game". it just becomes hectic. Progressing in the game does not reduce this. How fast YOU handle stuff it the bottleneck.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very boring game. Being stuck behind a counter for 90% of the game is not fun at all. The only time you arent behind there is when you are cleaning or closing shop for the night. No employess from what i can see so that means you are trapped doing the same thing over and over. You run into the same items more than once a day. I literally have a collection of 4 of the same exact jersey. I recieved 3 of those in one day. You are given little to no wiggle room with money so sprucing the place up…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really like this game but then again I love pawn shop games (like the old facebook pawn stars game) and mindless business sims. First the pros: 1. The game is intuitive 2. glitches are not game breaking (at least I have not encountered any) 3. the formula is fun 4. the tutorial is cute. 5. Being able to dumpster dive and restore items is an awesome quirky addition 6. Slipper throwing mechanic at robbers is hilarious Now for the things that should be added or need improving: 1. The…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a very fun game. Is it perfect? No, not at all. It has some balancing issues. But the bones are good and the gameplay can be immersive if you let it. As every simulation game, you start off with a shop from your late father. A family member is guiding you through the first steps, which is the typical tutorial. After that, it is up to you how to manage your business. The game is a shop simulator disguised as a pawnshop. Instead of ordering your stock from a supplier, your…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Going to have to give a thumbs down for this one. The game is just too hectic. People are constantly coming in selling you up to 5 items at a time, and you always have a line of people a mile long waiting to sell you more. You don't have time to repair things. The demo was much more chill where they sold one thing at a time, and repairing wasn't a thing. You could stay open 24/7 and just help people, put their item for sale, rinse and repeat. It was simple, but it worked. With the introduction…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game has potential, but needs a lot of work. Same items over and over. I can usually play business sim games for quite a while without getting bored, but this one got boring quick. I want to love it. I've wanted a good pawn shop game for a long time. Hopefully the devs keep working on this one and bring out the real potential.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Going to have to say no dont waste your time or money. Its a good idea for a game. Too many pawns not enough items to sell you cant make enough money to do anything and its just long enough for you to realize its past the 2 hour refund mark
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is extremely buggy needs a lot of work.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You can normally get a feel for a game pretty quickly, and it didn't take long for me to realise this is not the game for me, it feels super repetitive in the first 10-15 minutes which is not a good sign for whats to come - refund requested
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The new update ruined the game, I like being able to close whenever I want and hitting people is a dream now. Please remove these changes.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is fun and definitely has potential, but it’s missing variety in several areas. First, there isn’t much décor or customization for the store. It would be nice to have more options to make your shop feel unique Customers and items also start to feel repetitive. After a while you keep seeing the same types of people bringing in the same items. This becomes very noticeable in the endgame. I currently have over **600k and everything maxed out**, and at that point progression basically…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →⭐ Final Verdict Pawnshop Simulator is a solid simulation game that thrives on its satisfying buy-low, sell-high mechanics. While it may not have the complexity of larger business sims, its straightforward gameplay and negotiation system make it an enjoyable experience for players who like management and trading games. Rating: 7/10 ⭐ It’s not revolutionary, but if you enjoy running virtual businesses and making deals, Pawnshop Simulator offers a fun and relaxing simulation worth…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I’ve enjoyed the game and have already paid off the £200k. It’s not a hard game, but I don’t like how you keep getting the same items. There needs to be a greater variety of items to keep the game interesting. Reason I can't recommend this at the moment as it gets boring fast.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A solid pawn shop simulator with a fun gameplay loop. Recent updates have improved the balance between buying and selling, making the experience much better. Looking forward to seeing what future updates will bring!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →great game, but the attraction part of the game ruins it for me. hope they take it out or make it a option to take it out.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →asset slop No thank you
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The little jokes here and there, the feeling you get when you overcharge people and the thrill when you haggle for an important item and more. You always find yourself in the presence of a well thought and designed items and interesting customers. Some items are really hillarious and the way they have a synergy between them proves that this game is just more than a simple simulator game. It has actual game design in it and you can tell the devs were passionate about making it. Great job! I can…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pawnbroker Simulator approaches the business-management genre from an unusual angle, placing the player behind the counter of a pawn shop where almost every object represents both an opportunity and a financial risk. Developed by Next Sky Games and published by Ultimate Publishing, Ultimate Games S.A., and PlayWay S.A., the game focuses on building a small operation into a more successful business through careful appraisal, bargaining, loans, inventory management, security, and store…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Like those Pawn Shop (Pawn Stars) reels? I sometimes come across those reels or tiktoks clips of people negotiating for collectors items, or ancient artifacts that are worth thousands of dollars, then it hit my mind playing a simulator should be fun. Luckily I found this simulator and it's everything I wanted. Here you manage your shop, negotiate with customer by buying or reselling items. Each client can have different personalities which is cool because it makes some negotiations easier or…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →8/10 This game struggled on launch, but not even really technical issues; just simple things like lack of variety of items. They've now added over 70 new items, polished off some bugs and it is not a representation of the first few hundred votes. This is very much a comfort game, stakes aren't high; the game isn't really challenging at all. You spend a majority of your day throwing chanclas at thieves, decorating, negotiating prices, refurbishing items, etc. Even tho it lacks challenge it makes…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Boring after 3-4 hours
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Decent, but not much content. Pretty basic. Rinse and repeat. More items = More stutters & frame rate drop. Meh.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It was a decent game, sunk in a few hours in a save. Then a thief grabbed one of my items, I stopped him like usual. Then no customers could go to my checkout, just had 10 customers standing there impatiently. I tried throwing shoes at the next one in line until there were none left. Next customer came in, same thing. I reloaded my auto save before this happened. Checkout worked again, nice. I got a pretty good deal for a item that had bad condition, nice. Going to restore/repair it. Oh? You…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pawnbroker Simulator is a good concept with poor execution. I’m giving it a thumbs down the same way the game gives me 1★ for rejecting customers. Refusing a pledge tanks your reputation, which eventually leaves you running an empty store instead of actually playing the game. This system is fundamentally flawed and needs fixing.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is unbalanced. Crime is to common not recommended.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm going to leave a positive review because my time has been relatively enjoyable, but people should also know that this game still needs a little time in the oven and would have been great as typical early access release rather than a 1.0 The positives, the game loop is very enjoyable. You can lose hours playing if you aren't paying attention. There's a decent variety of items to play with and the haggling system and pawn system is mostly fun As for the negatives, there is a LOT to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Haven't had this much fun with a simulator game in a long time. I genuinely turned evil. Turns out I love overcharging people and feel a really sadistic urge to haggle all the time so they pay more and sell to me for less. All this just for that high when they accept my offer, and then I spend the money to get a cute little plant for my shop. I’ll definitely be playing this for hours on end!!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →how are the people now able to reach through my glass tables to get items, I locked it and they still reached right through the glass and they leave when offering final price of item for a example they say 75 no less then grab item and walk away. I don't agree with the contracts costing as much and why pay full price again for the contracts, I understand a penalty but not that much of one its a real bummer and almost makes me want to close the game out and uninstall. 24/7 store hours should…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am really enjoying this game i must say, i do admit, the large influx of customers when you first play is overwhelming, and you decline majority of things that come through, but now ive unlocked an expansion for the shop and it's honestly great. definitely cant wait to see what else will be added. love the fact that you can scavenge items outside the shop etc. definitely more items need to be added, cant wait for auctions and such as per the roadmap. i hope this game doesnt get abandoned. i…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very boring. Not for me.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After stamina and wotk hours update game is not playable. Pawned items need to be redeemed at work hours but on the weekend there is none. If i work in saturday, nobody will come to shop to redeem items, but when i try to sleep even 1 hour in that day i will get penalty for not beeing in the shop when customer comes. Sunday is even worse becouse i can't open the shop now. So, to not recieve penalty at every weekend I'd have to not accept pawning items with the expiration date at weekend, or…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →10/10 would pawnbroke again
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Best pawn simulator for now...
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Boring! It's just plain and simple boring! I regret this purchase and I wish I could get a refund.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For a pawnshop game, i've done better pawnshopping in FiveM. You get a majority of the people walking in wanting to sell- the issue is you arn't making enough money through walk-ins to justify the large number of purchases- and if you turn them away you get punished for it. There doesn't seem to be any mechanic (At least early on) to turn away people looking to sell, as i just want to buy. the game FEELS like an asset flip, the assets don't quite match and yeah its just overall not quite…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm Rick Harrison, and this is my pawn shop. I work here with my old man and my son, Big Hoss. Everything in here has a story and a price. One thing I've learned after 21 years - you never know what is gonna come through that door.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very boring game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its good just a few bugs like i had lost like 30 mins of game time due to the fact the game would not savet
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Controls are counterintuitive like they were made by a person who doesn't play games. Alt + Click to stack after one then it will randomly put everything back out into the world when you try to drop it in your shop? What purpose does that serve? I'm not sure how the 10,000 basic task sims they milk us for cant figure out decent controls, inventory systems or character movement. Perhaps its time AI does it better for free. Its a fun game but I wont recommend as my immersion I paid for was just…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is good but lots needs to be added there's a lot of bugs like the shop will be open constantly then I'll get notifications saying ledger missed as I was shut when I was open then there is a bug where you get hit with bill after bill. Ive played it for 15 hours and have unlocked everything already needs more added. I have the weapon licence and havent had one weapon a offered to me there needs to be more items added as the game does have a lot of potential in its current state I probably…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Did a playthrough, all in all a great simulation game. Few things to work on, maybe a bit of a storyline would be good, more choice with decorations, or potentially services, hiring staff, etc. By the time your shop hits 100% pulling customers in, you pretty much don't have time to do anything but serve customers. Needs big ticket items for late game. Need to be able to remove/sell furniture/decor or any shop items you no longer want/need. Need shelves that stock the big ticket loaned items.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Games starts overall pretty good. Haggling, repairing items so you can get more money out of them, pawning items. But, the game play loop gets boring fast. Every item that you buy, you HAVE to repair otherwise you get 1 star reviews. (mini game gets boring after the 5th time around) Very poor invent management When you buy something from a customer, you have to take it from the counter and place it elsewhere. Otherwise customer's won't come to the counter. Store expansion, pointless…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Decent shop simulator game, the core gameplay loop is fine if you like these types of games. It does need some work though. Ideas for improvement: - Your stuff sells too fast, i have this big store but only like 4-5 items ever stocked due to how fast customers buy up my stuff, even the $20,000 treasure maps. - Needs option for security/employees to help assist customers and run off thieves if you dont want to turn the thieves option off. When it gets busy i have like 5-6 customers lined up…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i played this game from the demo and had more fun with it than the full game. i hate the pawned items, most of the time they dont wait to pick up their items and i have to pay them back locking the back door doesnt make a difference and can't make enough money to cover everything and half the characters from the demo are gone. i really hope there will be more to this game as i was really looking forward to the release.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's fun and unique. It gives the feeling of progress. Lovely items and system.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →secon hand goods will be bought and sold with a fair price
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Been waiting for a good pawn shop game... Really well done. Hopefully more updates come so Im giving a good review. Well worth the price tag. Play if you like sim games. Runs smooth and plays great. Lots of stuff to unlock and earn through your playthrough. Dont listen to goobers complaining about the crime. All you have to do is lock up at night. And pay slightly attention. OR You can turn off crime completely. Very ez to deal with.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gosh, this is relaxing good fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game fun to play and love every update that comes out.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is a classic simulator game. I will be honest i was expecting it to be way more exciting and expected way more things to do in the game. The pacing is very slow in the beggining and i have spent some hours so far just repeating the same thing... it ends up ebing exhausting after a while
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Beautiful game! I've been playing this game with friends and family it works grat!
