Pac-Man Championship Edition DX is a 2010 maze video game developed by Chinese studio Mine Loader Software and published by Namco Bandai Games for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, later ported to Steam, Android and iOS. It's actually way more than that, it's a fresh take on the formula that completely improves upon the core gameplay loop. Easy to play, hard to master. There's also an online leaderboard on every stage so that you can work on improving your records. 10/10 sleeper gem, and it's also perfect for short play session on the Steam Deck. Highly reccomended for arcade game fans.

Time trials are nice to play if you just want to chill and the soundtrack is very good. Note: The menus are rough, and look outdated with the Facebook share stuff, so it's easy to get lost.

Colors can be a bit over-bearing at times but you can always change the maze/stage and play on something else. Though there are many modes to try out in each level, it's especially fun to casually play the 5 minute score attack mode- regardless of the level or difficulty. I also like the neon aesthetic and soundtrack (come to think of it, most of the games that I review tend to have a good soundtrack). Recommended.
