positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun and entertaining puzzle adventure, which may be on the short and easy side, but still delivers a good story and enjoyable game play. Set in a dystopian future, where food is scarce and people struggle to make ends meet, the mega corporation Infinity Inc promises a utopia, and escape from it all. The reason for all this destitution was the invention of the Quantic Matter Replication Device which you happened to create! Now you use your device for good, and try and reverse the mess that…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a really short game. It has tons of interesting mechanics, lots of which feel underutilized. It has a nice story and nice graphics. It works perfectly on linux. I would have expected more kinds of enemies and more use of the gun. Explosions moving blocks could have been used for more puzzles. I feel like Julia should have lasted longer, maybe like the chase on chapter two of Celeste. The final boss also lacks challenge. It could have lasted a lot longer, maybe like a NeuroVoider boss. It…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is like the flash games of the 2010s at their best: easy to learn, short rooms/levels (which therefore allows quick hop-in / hop-out playing session), simple controls, one core mechanic that the game is built around. And it all comes in a high-quality, juicy package of the downloadable game with high-quality visual effects and sound.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What a FANTASTIC game. Short? Yes. Intense? Yes. Worth? Definetly Yes.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short - If you are looking for a 5 hour easier puzzle platformer with a decent story, here you go! Had gone into this game not expecting much at all, but had a hard time stopping game play. My game play time is a bit inflated as I had to leave my computer a few times for some IRL things, so I would clock this is at about 5~ hours for completion. This is a puzzle platformer. Not a hard one, though there are a few challenges where you need to have slightly quicker reflexes or maybe 1 or 2…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really smart puzzle-platformer where the entire loop revolves around sacrificing clones of yourself. You'll be dropping clones onto spikes to make bridges, using them to weigh down pressure plates, or blasting them into lasers to clear a path. The game introduces new stage hazards at a perfect pace, and it never overstays its welcome. Short, tight, and highly recommended.

I cover a wide range of genres both paid and unpaid, providing unbiased opinions as well as regular giveaway events. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ ☑️The art style is good. ☑️Funny dialog here and there. ❌The puzzles are pretty basic and general. Suicide to pass. ❌The story shows a lot of resemblances to "_ lives matter" arguments. ❌Controlling multiple clones / original is clunky and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game doesn't have good puzzles or story and also lies on the store page and doesn't support Steam Cloud. I did not need to use my brain much on any of the puzzles during my limited playthrough. The story is also set up to draw parallels between present day real life political and social issues to seem "smart" and "deep" but it falls flat. The world doesn't feel like an actual world, it's just a setting where you jump into the future suddenly where evil man did X and Y because he was…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Another 100% ... and I left it running for a couple of hours by accident, meaning you could likely 100% and refund if you skip text. yeah the game is abysmally short for the amount they are asking for, made even worse by the couple of filler levels that are basically just running and maybe using a clone to push a button. The puzzles are fine if incredibly basic (as in tutorial difficulty the entire playthrough, with the main difficulty coming from dying from something that was off screen if…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pros: Cute artstyle. Good premise for a puzzle game, though it's not that puzzley. Cons: The game is very short and the puzzles never become even remotely challenging. There is a story focus, but I didn't find that very engaging.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overloop is genuinely one of the best games I've ever played. From the fun puzzles to the captivating story, i was always left wanting more. The story has twists and turns that keep you fully invested throughout your entire play through. If you are looking for a fun game that has puzzles and a story, then Overloop may just be for you. just don't be upset when you run out of gameplay 😔
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a bit meh but definitely not worth the full price. Wait for a big discount.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overloop has a pretty cool premise and a decent story. Unfortunately it's a rather short title, and overall it's an easy title as well. There was not a single puzzle that gave me pause - and the ones that "halted" my progress the most were the ones which require swift swaps between clones to do right - which is a testament to the somewhat mediocre control scheme than the puzzle itself. That said the music is OK, and the overall idea is pretty cool. And while I managed to breeze through the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't like pixel art, I don't like short games, but I finished Overloop. The game turned out to be a quality project from a talented team. The puzzles and achievements are easy, the music is great, the plot is a pleasant mix of humor and dystopia. -------------------------------------- Не люблю пиксель-арт, не люблю короткие игры, но Overloop я прошел до конца. Оказалось, что это качественный проект от талантливой команды. Головоломки и достижения несложные, музыка отличная, сюжет —…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The puzzles in Overloop offer a perfect balance—never too difficult, yet providing a steady progression in complexity that always makes the player feel intelligent. Despite its short length, the game does an excellent job of evolving its main mechanic. Each time the mechanic changes, the new addition is fully explored and utilized to its maximum potential. While the story itself isn’t particularly remarkable or prominent, it is consistently peppered with small moments of humor, adding a…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Genuinely shocked a 2 hour long game with potato graphics hit me this hard, the story is genuinely amazing and the mechanics/puzzles are really interesting and satisfying (albeit never challenging). With that said, £10 for this a little ridiculous. I don't doubt a ton of effort was poured into the title, but its just too short for that price tag.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hidden Gem A great little puzzle platformer game that controls well, with lovely pixel graphics, nice music, some good humour, and neat puzzles. It may be fairly short (it took me 2.7 hours for a full 100% play-through) and not particularly challenging, but that doesn't stop it from being a very fun game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Late follow-up post. Noms were had. Mama Sharkie's feeling better now. We made it through Hotel Overloop! This was, without a doubt, the most difficult loop/anomaly-spotting game I've played to date. Thank you for a lovely stream week, everyone! We raided "FutureWolfington" after!
unlabelledView post →Well packaged short puzzle action game. Pixel art here is so beautiful and music is wonderful. Highly recommended.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's no Swapper, but I take anything at this point.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overloop's a puzzle platformer with super cute mini pixels, super detailed backgrounds, a good selection of puzzles based on their unique cloning mechanic, a nice story and a great sense of humour. It feels like there have been quite a few puzzle platformers releasing lately but' Overloop stands out from the crowd. It's fairly heft, very high quality, and a lot of fun. The story, although told in a tongue-in-cheek manner, is surprisingly deep. Solid puzzles. Want to know more? Read the full…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I just have to say, its the best game I've played in a long time. This game brought up relevant sociopolitical issues that WOULD reasonably come from its premise. It explored all reaches of clones vs original spite bitterness whilst providing a gameplay experience that captivates and enthralls the player. The end, for me, was one of those sit back and close your eyes. Just take it in, and contemplate. It was amazing. I loved this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a short game, but definitely worth the price 👍
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game! I loved the story, and even though the platforming and/or puzzling never gets really hard I still enjoyed the experience very much. Some say the game is short but I would rather say it's long enough.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very polished and good game, but extremely short.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Worth every penny! Very nice "old school" sidedcroller.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Забавно, но не более. Двухчасовой пиксельный линейный платформер. Приятный сеттинг.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very competently made yet aggressively average streamer bait title. The absolute worst fate of a game, let alone one on Steam, is having absolutely nothing worth remembering across the entire experience. It's an easy 100% at least. Should've been $5 or less.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was a lovely surprise. The game is responsive and satisfying, and has some real creative puzzles, but also has wonderful presentation through its great art and intriguing (albeit minimalist) world building. It even shares some thought provoking moments in its 2.5 hour runtime. It may be short, but it stays creative and has no filler.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the best games I've ever picked up for just fifty cents and if you're reading this in early September you still have a good week or two to snag it at fifty cents on Fanatical. I'd recommend picking up Chasm as well as it's in the bundle too and freshly restocked. Overloop is a unique platformer that shines in its soundtrack, story and mechanics. EASILY overlooked, HIGHLY recommended! And for just fifty cents it's a no-brainer. At the time of this review I have nearly 4 hours and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overloop is yet another Portal-style wacky gun / test chambers / black comedy game, and while I'm personally feeling a bit burned out on that formula, the careful balance of action, logic, and narrative kept me hooked from start to finish. Hardly the cleverest or most varied puzzle platformer you'll ever play, but it's certainly an enjoyable little snack. I played at a relaxed pace and reached the end with all Achievements in just 2.3 hours.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very short and solid puzzler about creating clones of yourself in a sci-fi comedic dystopia. A great concept that ends just as the puzzles start ramping up.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you're into puzzle platformers and want a beautiful and compelling game that can be finished in one evening, this is a great pick for you! 8/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →under 3hrs to complete, nice little story, do recommended it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wonderful little puzzler that feels like it barely scratches the surface of it's mechanics. Every screen gives you something new. Fun pixel art, good music and a great dark sense of humor. This developer just consistently puts out great indie games.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A great game with a great story and message. I got all the achievements and collectibles in 2.1 hours, and I enjoyed every minute of it. I found a lot of the achievements as I played through the story, and only had to go back and grab two collectibles that I missed. Luckily the levels are fairly short and it's easy to find which level they're on and where they are. Such a good message and theoretical dystopian world based off of something that most people don't think about. Most people think…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While short, its story and gameplay are extremely good. Definitely would recommend if you like indie platformers.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wasn't sure what this game's would be having played all of the demos. Each of them seemed to tell a different tale in the same world and it made me wonder what kind of plot the main game would have. Let me just say that it did not disappoint. I enjoyed seeing this world again and finally being able to finally fight against this fall of humanity. I also loved seeing the new tricks, traps, and challenges that were cooked up for this game. I'm also glad to see this world fleshed out with a new…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good Game. At times corny.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short and sweet, took me under 2 hours to complete which sometimes is just what I want because of my busy schedule.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game. Rock solid on linux out of the box. Fun puzzles, not too hard. Short, but I liked the length.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →wort it, even though the game story is too short but it's really fun, with unique visuals and puzzles.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overloop is a fun puzzle platformer game. Although it only has one mechanic, it is interesting enough to keep you entertained throughout the levels. Set in a dystopian world, the story is intriguing with its own dark humour and surprises along the way. The pixel style is always nice to see and the music is good and fits well with the atmosphere. The downside is that it is rather easy and short. It is not particularly challenging and I wish there were more elaborate, brain-teasing puzzles.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A great short game (3hr to 100%, leisurely pace). The cloning mechanic works well. Had to get used to the keyboard keys(!) as I don't have a controller. Great story. Well worth it if you like platformer puzzles mixed with an interesting story.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nie za trudna, taka szybka na kilka godzin... Bardzo fajna gra z przesłaniem. Końcówka daje do myślenia zwłaszcza dzisiaj. Polecam
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun game, I liked the story and it was entertaining.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very short and not very challenging Get it on sale
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overloop is a tightly designed 2D puzzle-platformer that takes a deceptively simple mechanic—self-cloning—and builds an entire dystopian adventure around it. Developed by Charge Games and published on Steam by Digerati and Doyoyo Games, the title places players in the boots of an eccentric inventor whose own cloning technology has spiraled out of control. What begins as a clever industrial breakthrough becomes a societal catastrophe, and the game leans into that absurdity with a satirical tone…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun puzzle platformer with very fun clonning mechanics, and an unexpected important cute message about respecting our world to protect our future, as well as people's lives.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short but fun story
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →AWESOME SHORT PUZZLE GAME
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love puzzle games, and this one is no different. Love the pixel art and sci-fi elements with a mix of humor. Definitely pick up!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overloop’s short story is riddled with intriguing, yet simplistic puzzles that evolve at a steady pace. Puzzles are spaced out and provide breathing room to soak in the beautiful pixel scenery, complemented by the soothing soundtrack.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →C'est un bon petit jeu indépendant, j'ai pris énormément de plaisir pendant sa courte période.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Puzzle platformer featuring a focused design. Has a surprisingly great story with some elements which might kick you in the feels. That said, aside from a single collection sidequest for the 'true' ending, about the only other thing to do is to try to 100% a new run slot with the absolute minimum of sacrificed clones (each slot tracks that across all attempts and replays in that slot). The latter self-challenge probably won't appeal to most, so at 2 to 3 hours with minimal to no replayability…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A surprising good game. Great pixel are and the story is actually pretty great too. The puzzles are pretty good but I actually found the second half of the game to be really easy. Worth playing.
