unlabelledView post →No one got it, but this was supposed to be in the style of the GBA game, Shonen Jump's One Piece (US only). Which is an interesting game, because it made a side scroller out of reuse assets from Grand Battle! Swan Colosseum (JPN only), a One Piece fighting game.

unlabelledView post →You buy the game and you still have to spend tons of money on all the DLC, it's so stupid, and you have to be a real jerk to price DLC like that when the game is already expensive enough for what it is. I advise you against buying it, it's a rip-off unless you have 100 euros to spend. Oh, and I forgot, even if you have the biggest version, it doesn't mean it's the best. They'll add even more when there are even more DLCs to force you to buy them.

unlabelledView post →This is a very fun game dont get me wrong, but it falls again in the Bandai Namco loop of a game having an incredibly solid foundation but then one day the devs looked at their half finished product and decided it was too boring to work on so they just released it as is. There are a lot of characters (a few of them are copies of others) but no actual costumes for ANY of the characters, even the main cast dont have alternate costumes. Overpriced DLC. Again, a ton of characters but not…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nostalgic after watching the Egghead Arc, can't wait for the next PW series in that arc and see Saint Jaygarcia Saturn, Saint Marcus Mars, Saint Topman Warcury, Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro, and Saint Shepherd Ju Peter all in one frame as playable characters in the next PW series. The gameplay and skill movesets are much more fluid than in PW3, and the playable characters and skins are certainly becoming more diverse as the arc progresses. As usual, KOEI Tecmo, with its flagship genre "Musou…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →if you're a one piece fan, this is your game. if you're not, still worth a shot. better than oppw3 in almost every way — smoother gameplay, improved movesets, noticeable graphics upgrade, and a bigger roster (yes, most are dlc, but still). main gripe: the growth map upgrade system. there's a bulk option but it only works per node. let me bulk upgrade the whole map at once, i'm begging. completion is a different story. treasure log, special log — all that stuff will eat dozens of hours.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I cannot, in good faith, recommend a game with over $250 in DLCs. It's robbery and Bandai should be ashamed. I had played the "alternative" version with a friend and i thought it was worth it and got the game in a discount sale. But playing I realized it was lacking content so I came to the store to buy the rest of the content thin king it would be something like $20 or $30 and now I'm disgusted with this. Never buying stuff from Bandai again before checking for such shenanigans. Also, the high…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One Piece fans & Warriors players: 9.0/10 Casual players & non-fans: 7.5/10 What OPPW4 does best is, ironically, built to a significant extent around the assumption that you already know One Piece. If OPPW3 feels more like a “One Piece museum” —or perhaps a “One Piece chronicle” —then OPPW4 feels much more like a “One Piece power-fantasy action game.” It clearly shifts its focus toward combat, characters, spectacle, and the sheer fun of beating the hell out of everything in your…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the golden era dynasty warriors like games, and you don’t even need a Nintendo switch and 70 dollars for it. These types of games used to be my bread and butter. Absolutely loved back and slash games. I played a couple hundred hours on the switch and same with pc. That being said… It has its flaws, for one, there’s a lotta dlc, back when the game was first released, it got one pack pf dlc, 9 characters grouped in 3s. Then they chose to release a souls map update, three extra modes,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A Celebration of One Piece's Most Spectacular Battles As someone who completed the game, I can confidently say that ONE PIECE: PIRATE WARRIORS 4 delivers exactly what it promises: pure, chaotic, and incredibly satisfying action set in the world of One Piece. It doesn't try to reinvent the Musou formula, but rather adapts it to the series in a way that feels natural, faithful, and above all, fun. From the very beginning, the game embraces the over-the-top nature of One Piece. Massive…

So it really feels one in a million that i'm chill to friends with basically every single regular in our group. We all take it seriously, but never forget why we show up. For the love of the game and One Piece as an IP.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Worth It on Sale, Not at Full Price. The Bad - The biggest problem is the co-op system. You can play missions with friends but every time a mission ends you have to invite your friends all over again. Many important scenes are removed from arcs which makes it worse than One Piece Pirate Warriors 3. What makes this more disappointing is that Bandai continues to release costly DLC and no new maps. Just greedy Bandai things. The Good - The combat is genuinely fun. There are plenty of skills and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sadly, for Intel user this game can't be played and for Fans of One Piece like me is giving a disappointment, I thought this game will be same like OPPW3, which I can play it without problem
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Two things need to be true for you to consider buying this game: 1. You need to be a fan of One Piece, and ideally caught up through at least the Wano arc. If you're buying DLC, you should be through Egghead, because there are some spoilers for Egghead characters in there. 2. You need to enjoy Musou games... a lot. Because even as a big fan of Musou games, I can admit that this is not really a great Musou game. They already are mindless grind games, but this one is especially mindless and…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is pure joy if you’ve got a nakama who loves one Piece as much as you do. Playing this game with a friend makes it so much more fun, even when I played some side content solo, I still really enjoyed it, also the wano arc is quite different here, which makes sense since the game came out before the anime fully covered it. overall I had a great time with it. For me, it’s a 7.5/10.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I mean, all they have to do is make a One Piece game in the style of Wind Waker
