It's taken 91 in game days and 18.8 hours to finally unlock cows--the very creatures on the opening titles. I've loved to get to see this world grow and develop, but my god, it does it SLOWLY. I was thrilled at the idea of a Terraforming Mars kind of Stardew, but at this stage, I can't recommend it for its price. It's still in EA, so I'm optimistic for their full release. You can't just mine, you have to minesweeper, and you can't catch bugs by targeting them with the drone you'll have to sneak close, but not too close, then target them with a little cursor, then you have to click on a very small segment of a fast moving "catch" bar. Maybe I haven't gotten far enough into it, but given that I've put 6 hours into it, there should be more to do every day than one single thing request from an NPC, if you're lucky. The bugs are hard enough to spot, spent better part of 45 minutes trying to get them and the stupid clicking minigame means most of the time I fail to capture it. Not impressed at all.
