It's Deadpool 2 retold as a PG-13 movie via a framing device that is a massive value add for anyone who has seen and likes "The Princess Bride." I've heard people say it's not worth it if you've already seen 2, but it's amazing in its own right.

It's STILL absent on digital/streaming which makes me wonder if the Digital Copy is a sly workaround or a non-starter.

unlabelledView post →I have now officially seen three different versions of Deadpool 2. The theatrical, the "Super Duper" cut, and now this one. As far as I'm concerned, each re-release has been worse than the last. I get the use of the framing device, and it was even pretty funny doing the whole Fred Savage/Princess Bride thing, but Deadpool 2 being cut together this way just felt erratic. Final rating:★★½ - Had a lot that appealed to me, didn’t quite work as a whole.
