It explained the drawbacks of not being able to feel pain, didn't make Hughie into a superhero, leaned into "demented slapstick," and found VERY cool excuses for on-screen brutality. unlabelledView post →I did not like Mickey 17 much, to be honest. It's supposed to be a comedy, but it's so dry... They try to make you care at some point, and it doesn't work. Also, the cloning sci-fi part is also irrelevant for the final plot. Haven't watched Novocaine, but by the looks of the trailer, I can tell you there's a lot more of fun action sequences than Mickey 17, if you are into that.
