If it's recieved well, perhaps I'll make this a weekly series of posts about originals being released. Okay, technically, *A Working Man* is…

neutral · AI labelView post →Death of a Unicorn was fun! Super neat to see a film lean into the more classic mythology of unicorns that I love so much! The designs were awesome, I'm specifically upset I didn't think of putting spurs on their feet myself- that's fuckin crazy good

neutral · AI labelView post →Watched Death of a Unicorn When it is satirical over the rich, it is underwhelming, when it's a creature feature with the unicorns, it is enjoyable film with it's effects and deaths while having good performances from Jenna Ortega and Paul Rudd

positive · AI labelView post →My favorite type of movie to obsess over is one that fails but in an interesting way where you can really see how with a few tweaks it would be a good or even great movie, which is why I cannot stop thinking about Death of a Unicorn.
neutral · AI labelView post →Finally watched Death of a Unicorn. Really curious what this movie would have felt like with practical effects. (I know it's a tired argument, but to see one of those unicorns that FELT real would have been huge. )

neutral · AI labelView post →Watching 'Death of a Unicorn' & it's the most colonizers being colonizers movie I've ever seen. Rich old bastards being evil with every voice of reason warning they're going to get everyone and themselves killed and the attitude is "but I don't understand, I'm doing it and I'm rich, so I'm right"
negative · AI labelView post →I'm not deliberately watching bad films so you don't have to, but if you like suffering animals, OTT Richard E Grant, Paul Rudd looking not himself, and gory fights with CGI horses, then form a queue here for Death of a Unicorn. Otherwise, probably best avoid 2/5. film-authority.com/2025/04/19/d...

I like to support 2D animation on the big screen, and I'm not really into horror movies or Statham action movies. For those who might be interested, Paul Rudd stars in *Death of a Unicorn*, and David Harbour and Michael Peña are in *A Working Man*.
neutral · AI labelView post →DEATH OF A UNICORN: CGI is wonky, but that’s alright. Will Poulter steals the movie, and some good jump scares and fun bits. Not sure if it all comes together as well as the filmmakers would like, but I had a good time.

unlabelledView post →I saw 'Death of a Unicorn' tonight as a bit of an escape from the desk. God-damn, what a fun, and incredibly violent film. I wanna draw a monster Unicorn tomorrow.
unlabelledView post →Saw "Death of a Unicorn" with @iritabsyndrome.bsky.social today. The movie was a fun slasher about the folly of compromising with wealth, and of course vengeful horrific unicorns! Great cast, funny lines. It delivered both gore and heart. Overall, better than Rotten Tomatoes had me believe.

unlabelledView post →DEATH OF A UNICORN: Screwball anti-capitalist monster movie, feels like R-rated Amblin. I laughed and jumped a lot, and spent much time marveling at a hyper-stacked cast relishing the opportunity to get nuts.
unlabelledView post →Death of a Unicorn delivered the killer unicorn film I’ve been wanting since one showed up in The Cabin in the Woods. Doesn’t really go anywhere unexpected, but it’s a fun ride with a satiric horn pointed at the wealthy who exploit others for their own gain. Had a good time with it.

I think the sit down meal had more courses than I've had in my life - starter, sorbet pallet cleanser, main meal (a massive lamb shank), dessert (a selection of three mini desserts), enough cheese to guarantee we all get gout (there was so much left over,…

unlabelledView post →Gotta say, I was really looking forward to Death of a Unicorn, and... worse than just being bad, it actually made me ANGRY. I really don't get mad at movies, but this film was so dumb, so badly written, with such unlikable characters and poor performances and bad CGI... I just don't have words.
