46 of 46 · most liked firstIt's a 2D sandbox battle simulator. Don't expect alot of gameplay though. All you gotta do is run the game, enter the sandbox , choose custom map spawns to load them up and watch them battle against each other. Or simulate and watch ogre's smashing chickens!! Cool thing is, you can build unit, build animation and animation type. The game looks fun and can be enjoyable for couple hours but the only thing that will keep you engaged is the building part. I hope dev keeps working on it and bring…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's just a battle simulator, and there are far better ones out there. Also, why make levels so huge if the game can't handle units in the hundreds?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Super fun. I'm obsessed with chicken-based attacks at the moment. Loading times are resolved. Dev is working on reported issues quite promptly. The content has been growing since I purchased it. Fair price.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sorry for the brief description of my review but as for what i mean one thing that i find that i wish was in hyper knight battle is the various unit levels like the different minions/sheilders etc. like the elite ones or mid level ones. I also think that you should have a knight characters to hyper knights battles the mini bosses in hyper knights basically. i think it's cool how they have there different abilities like heal motors inspire etc. which i think would be a great addition to hyper…

Perfect game for those who love Creative and Casual Games to chill, with various characters to play, but more importantly, it has a simple system that allows you to make your drawings or sprites into animated characters that battle, with powers already ready or customized by you! it's extremely addictive! I recommend full price! Gameplay: 11/10 Audio: 9/10 Graphics: 10/10 Interface: 10/10 Creative character and skills system: 15/10 WHAT IS GOOD * Easy system *…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun battle simulator. A simple but fun premise that is well executed. Creation tools are provided to make your own unit. I think there is a nice amount of content here but I'm hoping to see more options. Pros +Fun to have 1v1000 or 1v1 +Creation tools +Simple to understand +Steam workshop support +Developer continued support and expansion +++Chuck Boris Cons -Limited gameplay -Very basic AI -200 Spartans lose in preloaded "300" situation -Lacks depth -Short experience In essence…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good price, Dev responds to issues quickly, and the content has been growing already since it came out. Give the game a chance, it's worth it for the price.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →NO ITS NOT WHAT YOU THINK GO WATCH A YOUTUBE GAMEPLAY FIRST JUST NO
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For a battle simulator, it's got pretty poor max units. My PC is pretty beast and it literally crashed in a battle with 5050 units. I've played others where I've had tens of thousands. But the character creator is a nice touch.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game has a cool idea and the origninal hyper knights was pretty good but this game feels very limited, i have a good pc and im putting 1200 troops in total on the field and the game still lags, i honestly wish they would have put it in early access first then to put it as a game that looks like its done. The game also has a unit maker where you can make your own unit but the game in total just feels very limited and not as much content in it, game is worth 2 dollars imo.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a pain to set up a single battle and the fights themselves are boring. No clue on what the devs where thinking with this one.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's worth the dollar I paid for it I guess?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →“In Hyper Knights you control the battle, you choose the units for both teams and what they are set to do and then let the simulation run. Want zombies to attack chickens while archers protect them? OK https://youtu.be/S1iAHc2QJsM
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game's UI for creating units is absurdly bad, and not user friendly.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Maybe further on in development this game could be great. I've had some pretty serious difficulty with what appears to be intended to operate as a point & click interface. Adding any body part to an animation results in a giant blurry and unresponsive hand being displayed instead of the body part. Changing perspectives in the animation screen leads to unfixable bugs requiring me to reload the animation for it to function. A lot of parts of it just feel half complete. A place to send feedback…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is a complete mess. AI moves in a straight line, and I see no way to customise the AI like in the description. Game lags with large number of units, which is kind of the point. The camera flew away mid battle as I was playing for no reason. Think this was just thrown together, based on Hyper Knights because the developer could, not because it would make a fun or engaging game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like making battles with this game. It is a rather simple game. Not much to it, but it's still fun!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There's definitely a map editor missing here....
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its just boring and the AI is clumsy and barely any new updates to the game quit playing this and get UEBS
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →1/5 the game runs perfectly until you try to make a unit it has no sprite editor that I can find meaning you have to find or buy your own to make units in the first place which is stupid the menu makes no sense in any way just make an all in one unit creator WITH A SPRITE EDITOR PLEASE! the gameplay is ok however once i finally made a unit the game no longer worked for me
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Game is a Cash Grab, no updates and looked promising. DON'T BUY IT
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Spawn a bunch of creatures and people, make them fight. Has a lot of potential with the creature editing but it got boring pretty fast and there is a huge lack of content. I would recommend playing games like Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator instead as they are just significantly better made and pretty much the same concept.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is pretty fun to play. The problem i have with it is that it crashes like every other battle and the unit building dose not make sence. Plus when i tryed to make a custom unit i cant up the damage he dose. Or atleast i could not find it. With a game saying that you can completely custimive your charaters it really should not be this hard.

Hyper Knights: Battles is your chance to make that wild dream a reality! 🤯⚔️ In this delightfully chaotic game, you’re not just watching battles unfold; you’re the mastermind behind the mayhem. Create your own units, tweak their AI to perfection, and then sit back and watch as your custom…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the game brakes a ton
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Easy to master and the workshop has plenty of different unit types to mess around with, but not really anything more than a simple time killer. While I would recommend this game because of it's simple gameplay and somewhat entertaining battles, it's not exactly in my top 10 favorites, nor even close tbh. I wish there was more map types and more of a strategic take to it because the AI is honestly just too damn boring to make me wanna stick around for more than 30 minutes (and that's being…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →one of the worst games ever its a limp ♥♥♥♥ tabs and a wast of monny
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Buggy but fun and under-rated. I just played this game for 6 hours and I'm not bored of it yet. Pros: Setting up battles in a few locations with endless possibilities. The stock characters are good and varied with some interesting fighting mechanics. There are community characters to download. You can stick Chuck Boris up against a thousand chickens. Interface for setting up battles is pretty good, quick and easy to use. Achievements. Cons: The characters path-finding doesn't work so great,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'd not recommend it. It seems like a lot of fun with somewhat charming art and the fact that it is a battle simulator which allows for some strategies and variations to take place. But then you get it and realise there are a lot of visual bugs. You also swiftly find out that there is not a whole lot of variation at all, with limited units in the game which is not improved by the steam workshop which grants you very little new and unique units to play around with. I think I had fun with this…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game's UI for creating units is relatively bad, and not user friendly. there is not much content and by my first hour of playing I was looking at steam workshop for units. if the developers fix these issues in the future I would say it would be a decent game overall, but as of now there is too little content and the player is expected to fill that content using a poor unit creator/editor.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its good game, not my type thoguhugh
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Visited the workshop and downloaded a Space Marine unit someone made. Pitted 100 Space Marines against 1,000 Orks (Ogres). The boys in blue only lost 3 men. It's a fun way to kill an hour.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hyper Knights: Battles developed and published by Endless Loop Studios is a sandbox battle simulator that places creativity at the center of its design. Rather than offering a traditional real-time strategy campaign or structured progression, the game provides players with tools to design custom units, script their behavior, and stage chaotic clashes across simple 2D battlefields. It functions less as a conventional strategy title and more as an open playground for experimentation, where…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →kinda fun if its on sale i'd recommend. its like a potato pc's uebs. it has a few cool pre set scenarios, tho i had problems with the battle royal pre set and the camera is misplaced on the helms deep one. i really hate that the corners having this blurry effect. final review chuck borris / chuck norris
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →a small battle simulator which has no levels, limited units, basic unit directions BUT creating unit feature has a great opportunity to design your own unit.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its a 2D battle simulator that you just setup and watch happen. Its programmed well and has workshop for new battlers like goku or stormtroopers.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game is ok pretty fun that you can do the battle between spartans and persians

CONS: - Optimization. - Repetitive. - Gets boring quickly. Text Review: It's basically a 2D Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator. It's always good to have the ability to create your own units, so this was a good addition. The game's…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game does one thing that Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator doesn't at the time of this review: Save your battle setups That alone gets a thumbs up from me.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Rating: 8/10 Being based off of Hyper Knights makes this definitely worth a try. I've tested one battle so far between zombies and marines and I honestly was intrigued to how entertaining this "game" really is. The thought of creating my own battles is honestly very awesome. I didn't rate it a solid 10, because the "Build a Unit" isn't exactly how I expected it, especially with how good this game is. I find it very complicating, especially when all I really want to do is design the appearance…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love to make peasants fight to the death
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cool game Idea!! I hope more ppl give it a chance, the steam workshop alone makes this an awesome game. I'd like to get in contact with the dev team and discuss an idea or two that I have for this game or maybe a whole new game using this style of animation and game engine.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its a fun game, you can create your own units but I don't really know how its works xD but the gameplay is very fun. Now you can do custom battles but it would be fun if they added a campaign or something..
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just a pretty fun game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gameplay footage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QWMa_KQWVrE Hyper Knights: Battles is a fun battle simulator with a lot of potential. You can custom make the characters stats and sprites and there's workshop support so you can download other characters like ninja turtles and other jedis and stuff. It's a fun game if you understand what you're getting into. You have two armies fight and see what happens. The game is a little buggy though, if they fix the bugs; this could be a lot more fun.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game feels unfinished. 1. It takes 15 seconds to load a battle. What is going on during that time? This is a simple game, and I have a powerful machine. I want to run many battles fast, I don't want to wait 15 seconds between them. 2. The programming part has very little documentation: only a couple of tutorials on the workshop. You have to guess what things like "the default trigger 'TRIGGER'" and "TestTargetAmountInRange" mean. (And how it's different from "Has Target Amount In Range")…
