60 of 190 · most liked firstThe unbalanced infinitely multiplying nodes is what made the game enormously fun, then the game updated to be overly balanced in a boring way. Very worth buying if you don't mind tinkering with Steam to get version 0.1.333 or older.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wanted to like this game and I did for a little bit. Combining different nodes to make powerful weapons is fun. The problem is that this is pretty much the limit of the fun in the game. The level design is basically nonexistent. Every level is nearly identical with just some minor visual changes. Likewise, the enemies are all very samey. Each run consists of a series of layers (it's always been 7 so far, not sure if that changes at some point). You get a set amount of time on each layer.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After the August 2025 update, this game is no longer fun and I would not recommend it. Before, I admit the game was "easier" as you were able to quickly purchase many nodes and create interesting executions, but now you barely get enough currency to even buy one node. Definitely, feels slower in progression, which makes it harder. They introduced metagame progression, but it is more grindy instead of just jumping into a game and being able to compete just based on that run. I will keep an eye…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After the major change to the game, I'm not a fan of the way it slows everything to a crawl. Used to be fun and exciting.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is an alright game, just yet another Vampire Survivor clone. Labelling this a programming / coding game is reaching. It has a very distinctive / fresh visual theme, but that isn't enough to keep your attention. A think with a bit more development it could become good, but there just isn't enough to keep your attention. The game is a little too easy as well, even with a couple of difficulty skill improvements.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A Wasted Great Idea Net.Attack stumbled badly with its Roguelike elements, and that’s a flaw that overshadows much of the experience. The game’s modular effects and programming logic, where you splice together inputs, outputs, and modifiers to enhance your damage or survivability, are genuinely interesting. Like... Seriously? Well done. The satisfaction comes from cleverly combining values and effects, making each run potentially more unique than the last in how you approach the RNG challenge…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TL:DR: Well balanced, very good performance, fun to play. A bit more content would be great, can recommend Okay listen. I had a **** load of hours during the beta phase. Tried speedruns, pacifist runs and every other way to break the game as much as possible. Of course I tried the same in early access. After now finishing both maps on all 4 characters (yes four. One is hidden. Well hidden. Meanly hidden and I love it.) on highest difficulty, I can say that this got the potential to become the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Updated review for the gamescon update: Wow. I do not like the new update. Double thumbs down if I could First, they reset all progress. going from 100% complete to 0% sucks but it happens in early access sometimes, at least the game is fun right? The game is not fun. It has slowed to a crawl. The old dynamic of the game revolved around capturing points on the board by standing in them for time proportional to their size/value, which added an interesting dynamic to the survivors gameplay…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The main feature of this game that separates it from other survivor-like or horde autoshooter games is that after selecting upgrades you can, at any time, modify how they interact with each other via the programming tree. It makes for a much less mindless experience than most of the genre, although at some point you start to figure out how which upgrades connect best and picking/connecting upgrades becomes more automatic. Think of it as sort of an extra dimension on upgrading. It also has the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game gives me mixed feelings about whether it is a good game or not. I first played it at TwitchCon, and I was like: "I have to buy this game." Now that I am further into the game, I feel like it is missing some things that make progression hard for me. As a non-native English speaker, this game is a challenge language-wise. The tutorial is too long and sometimes hard to understand. I think the game would benefit from a simulation or preview system for the nodes. Being able to see what…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very empty for now and the last update goes all the way in the wrong direction, adding meta progression, slowing the beginning of the game even more. Can't be recommended in that state.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I’m genuinely impressed. As someone with little programming experience, I was worried the visual node system would be intimidating—but it’s incredibly intuitive. The drag-and-drop interface lets you experiment freely, and I’ve actually picked up some useful logic concepts that translate well to Python and GDScript. No prior coding knowledge is needed; just play around and see what happens. What keeps it fresh after dozens of runs is the sheer variety. With 190+ nodes, 13 characters, modifiers,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Such a cool idea. I was really looking forward to playing this one. But while the visuals, theming, and styling are spot on, the gameplay is unfortunately lacking. First is the game feel -- I didn't feel the impact of my weapons; I only saw the results. More gems to pick up meant more enemies were dying, but the feedback, visual and audible, were very understated. The other issue is that the first pool of available nodes don't seem tailored to creating interesting synergies upfront, which is…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Despite there being multiple new mechanics and characters- the game is arguably less fun now than it was roughly a year back between the total removal of 'looping' code and the devs having seemingly missed the forest for the trees in attempting to balance away 'broken' builds that took luck and effort rather than add content that could stand up to recursive self propagating lasers, coin farming operations of unholy size, and whatever other nonsense the top 1% of players got up to. I can't…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is fun but it is very easy to create exponential amount of objects, way too many for the game to handle. Thus is it unplayable once you figured out how it works. I is just too laggy. I am wondering why this problem was not one of the main concerns in development
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game takes the combat customization of Transistor to the next level and applies it to Vampire Survivors gameplay, and I love it. The art and music are great. It's my new SteamDeck obsession. Only issues I've had so far are with node tooltips blocking the ports I'm trying to connect, and a weird focus bug where the focus animation triggers somewhere other than the mouse cursor and then plays on repeat.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →https://youtu.be/PycLk8vciM0 Building custom weapons is a nice uncommon feature for bullet heaven games but the lack of useful upgrades makes the experience consisting of too much waiting.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game used to be good, but with the recent changes I can't say it's balanced to well anymore. The game is slower and buying nodes costs way to much. They reset progress which I can understand with all the changes but I kinda of wish they had gone about it a different way. An example for something I feel costs way to much is "ForceEachUnitinRange" for 2K? so a modifier for something else costs 2K while something that does damage is 1K?, thats 3K you have to invest just to do range attacks…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great start to a fun spin on the Vampire Survivors formula. Winning is up to you, less luck on nodes and more on how to use them efficiently. I'm into it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An update just dropped which claimed to add "controller support". This is a lie. The update allows controllers to use the same (clunky, bug-riddled) mouse and keyboard interface using the analog stick and A button. That is not "support". There are no menus or grids, you just have to try to drag and drop, and hope the random tooltips don't get in the way of where you want to place things. Even the Level Up screen, which has 3 options and should have been low hanging fruit, is selected from using…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As there is no in game method to report bugs I have to use this review. The missing bug report feature is reason enough for a bad review. BUG: If you reach level 85 in a daily challenge the game is blocked by the open but empty level-up screen. There is no way to close it and you can not continue with the run. UPDATE: - The bug is fixed. - There is still no in-game bug reporting possible - There is no real in-game information on any game mechanics - The 30 min survival game mode is unplayable…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I became strangely addicted to this game back in its itch.io days and followed it through its demo days and now into release. This is an amazingly easy game to pick back up and play; at its core it is a simple isometric roguelike but your attacks are coded up using an in-game visual scripting language, similar to Scratch or Blueprints. The excitement comes from building a new (and absolutely ridiculous) build that destroys both enemies and your framerate. As a programmer by trade, this game…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice game with a twist on the usual roguelite combos and power-up builds. Lacks a permanent upgrade system that affects all characters, and also an infinite wave mode. Maybe in the future ? (this just came out)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is the absolute best customization mechanics I have ever seen in any game, in any genre. The way you can create pretty much infinite builds with lots of different approaches is amazing. The theme of being code-related makes it easier to understand for a programmer like me, but it is defnitely not needed as the tooltips explain everything pretty well, and it's mostly just simple concepts (for allows you to do things multiple times, optimize makes them go faster, etc...). If you are a nerd…

unlabelledView post →Okay... I played this game literally 2 runs and holy CRAP. The game is broken and I mean that in a good way. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be difficult yet, cause I only played on the 2nd easiest mode. The build I had was literally 6k dps and only if the screen was filled with enemies (I killed them too fast). Idk why it's tagged as difficult, maybe in the early access (which I didn't play) but the game is barely challenging, which I kind of love. It's not that the game is hard, but it's the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hands down one of the best survivors-like games out there (and I've played every single one of them, so don't even worry about it). It reminds me of Spell Disk, which is another great game. What these games having common, and what makes them so much fun to play is that you feel in control not just of your player power but how it functions. It's worth full price in my honest opinion.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great Game, got to play it at the Caggtus in Leipzig in early 2025 Innovative Gameplay, really catchy and Fun to figure things out.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Net.Attack() is solid game. It blends different micro-genres together, forming this odd sort of roguelite weapon crafting quasi-tower defense programming ARPG. Early access games are always subject to change, and I've been here since the beginning. The game has slowed down a bit with the changes, like others have said, but it was necessary. At launch, the game was super fast because scaling was frankly broken. Most skills/attributes could be safely ignored. That is no longer the case. You need…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Doing to boot-camp to learn how to code but it dont tell you anything so its worthless. Its just try random things until it works approach. If that is fixed I guess it could become a decent game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very cool. Just not my type of gaming style. Fun "Bullet-heaven" recommended for anyone who likes a game where you can organize your attacks how you'd like them to happen as you progress through the levels.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game. I like the theme, the nodes / attack management, etc. It can improve on performance, movement keys "get stuck" sometimes, but these issues may be because I'm playing on Linux with Steam installed via Flatpak.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Would still recommend, but probably under a deep discount. The game art, BGM and theme looks very good. The execution graph mechanic is very interesting and it is fun to figure out. However, the game becomes repetitive after a while. The meta-progression are too strong, all levels are pretty much the same, and there isn't enough variety in enemy types. Also once you unlock a new level, you need to unlock all the difficulties again from the easiest. This is more of a chore because every…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love this game, the theme and implementation of it is awesome. i am a programmer and really loved this. i hope the content updates really make this game shine even more.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun evolution of the "vampire survivors" genre! Still in early access but I think the content already present justifies the $8 price tag.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tutorial is literally unplayable due to movement barely working.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love the game, but it crashes after a few levels every time and can never get to far with it because of it. :(
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is fun, the programming theme is very appealing, quite original. Huge potential here! You've got 4 characters (so far) that play and feel very different and plenty of build variety within each. The game is still in early access, some builds are definitely more broken and if you're after min-maxing, you'll be doing the same build over and over. That being said, you don't have to play the most broken build to have fun! If you ignore the OP build, making builds is very fun and can get…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Having a blast with this game. Having a game where I am apply my programming background into game play scratches an itch I didn't know I had. It is the weekend of early access launch and I have already exceed a price point of $1 per hour of game play.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's rare to see a game and it actually is as good as you hoped. It scratches that itch of bullet heaven distraction while also kind of making you think to solve the puzzle of your power ups so it keeps you more engaged and you can't just AFK and be done.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →NOOOOOOO YOU CANT JUST USE 100 PINGS TO CLEAR THE SCREEN!!!!!!!!!! haha nested for loop go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very cool game. You can think very hard to optimize your build. Looking forward on the games progress!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A unique idea on the Roguelite genre. Being able to buy, connect, and modify your nodes at any point without penalty really makes this a fun experience. There's a lot of different combos and optimizations to be done, the game pauses itself while you mess with everything which is really enjoyable. I'm excited for what else the developers are going to introduce!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I been playing game for hours and so far I like it alot. It's good showing a spotlight on games like this. I say go and get this game. It's a good roguelike games.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a damn blast trying out different combos, whether in the bootcamp, for missions, or the daily challenge. Also, best integrated screensaver mode!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →On add feeling as a software developer when destructive code makes so much fun. More maps and more enemy types would have been great. Still a fun time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I first played the game at the Gamesground in 2024 if I remember correctly. And it has evolved a lot since then. I really like how the visual programming is done. It can get very complex, which I love. If I could request one feature it would be some kind of preview for the chain, to make it easier to tinker during a run. Gameplay: 9/10 Graphics: 8/10 Sound: 9/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cool game. Vampire survivors + programmable attacks is a nice combo.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazingly fun. Just do what I do and check time played post review.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Alright listen to me, As some one with 250 hours in Vampire survivors, with probably 90 of those being non afk active play time. This is legit the only wave based rouge lite that has the same appeal, it's not the same, it is significantly different, but that same hook is here, dude I haven't even cleared all the levels with one character yet. Brass tacks, the coding system can be a bit confusing at first, and that's even for some one with a decent amount of armature coding experience. Give…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good in theory but in practice turns out pretty bland and boring
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →游戏画风充满了霓虹和电路板质感,把数码编程和肉鸽结合起来了,初次接触挺新鲜的,希望多加点内容
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very fun and interesting take on the survivor game type, well worth picking up if you like the genre.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simple but with quite some depths, tons of funs if you like programming functions and logic chains.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's fun but repetitive, they tried their darndest to put variety in but they missed the mark on that if you ask me.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played this game since the early access. And I played it after its 1.0 release. And I can safely say that it's a great game if you enjoy Vampire Survivor-likes, and if you're fine with using your brain a bit for the visual scripting part. To be clear, it is rather straightforward, with an extensive documentation and tooltips that help you find the best way to chain your code. And while the 1.0 release is more balanced than the early access (you could do such OP stuff back then), it is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Vampire Survivor but you design your own attack
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An adorable Survivors-like! The ability to chain nodes creates an opportunity to reqlly go wild with the power combos; it feels like there's a lot of control and room for tweaking. Solid thumbs up.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →We need more games like this, with deep spell-crafting - literally spell-programming in this gem! It's great :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well done on the updates! Stills needs some more work, not much. Over all it is a great game!
