A recent Steam review on Neongarten made my day: "The shape rotator's Luck Be a Landlord... this is a great extrapolation." There's a good chance I end up stealing that phrase. It's great to hear that the game delivers the experience I was trying to design.

Always a pleasure to work with Niklas and with @locquest.bsky.social. Seriously, if you want to have your game translated by pros in an ethical way, work with LocQuest. You won't regret it. And go stack lots of things in Neongarten! #gameloc #translatorsinthecredits

I feel the older I get the more I appreciate opening up a quick burst puzzle game for short play sessions. There's something so satisfying about games like Neongarten and Orb Tower, or even older stuff like Luxor that just gets those brain chemicals all giddy in me.

Neongarten releases in three days! To celebrate, my podcast (Pixelated Playgrounds) did an episode covering the game. It was fun to chat with @bsushi.bsky.social and do a deep dive on my own work. Check it out! www.pixelatedplaygrounds.com/bookclub/neo...

Next one is Neongarten Game is alright, simple cyberpunk 'city-builer' where you place block buildings in a 5x5 grid trying to make enough money to pay takes each week and you can use verticality to your benefit. Might be nice for someone out there who wants a arcade-y city builder, but not my thing
