positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really wanted to enjoy the game and find out more on the story, but the current state I can't. I wish there was a mixed recommendation instead of a yes and no. The story was interesting and the concept is good with the idea of temperature as a mechanic, but the state it's in is not playable for some because of current settings/bugs etc. I streamed it and the amount of times it bugged, glitched and just got annoyed at the guy constantly saying about alcohol to warm up when I've not even come…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game looks good on previews, but isn't very good in practice. Voices narration seems like it's done with AI, and it's poorly translated. In either case, it's more annoying than adding to the atmosphere. Combat is very clunky, and if you don't already have your weapon drawn and ready before the enemy appears and comes at you, you're pretty much guaranteed to get hit, because they move just a little faster than you, and follow flawlessly. Overall, it's not mechanically solid enough to be…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Terrible to say the least. If you want to make a comparison, go check out Eresys, it's just about as bad as that one.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Every possible bug imaginable was shown from the very start, from a simple crate not moving, to an ladder that throws you off it, to enemies just standing there looking at you beat them to death. From the basic comicsans script notes and the constant self spoiling storyline, without adding the 4th wall breaking tips, i really am struggling here. If this is a solo dev then yay! good work on making a solid framework but this feels impossibly far from finished game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wish i could give a positive review but somes of the elements of gameplay, the horribly bad AI of the ennemies make the whole game a pretty unpleasant experience. Too bad there was some good ideas but at that price for a game that short I cannot recommend.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's an interesting concept, inspired by The Thing, that makes ingenious use of body temperature, but as a game, it's almost unenjoyable, mostly due to the horrible combat system.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It felt like diving into a Classic old-school horror. Love the intriguing story and atmosphere. Impressive work done by a solo developer!

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The only thing wrong with this game is that it’s too short.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →8/10 — criminally underrated. The world is engaging, full of unexpected twists, and the ending feels complete (rare these days). The gameplay loop is addictive. There are bugs, but nothing major. This game is better than people think. Definitely worth playing.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →NEDRA is a story-driven, first-person horror game where you explore a Soviet-era Antarctic station after all the explorers have vanished. The game draws inspiration from cosmic horror master H.P. Lovecraft, as well as films like The Thing and Solaris. Players must manage their body temperature and scavenge for resources while navigating a frozen wasteland and fighting against Lovecraftian monsters. Overall, an OK game by a solo Dev. The graphics and the story flow are well done. But…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game with fairly straight forward light puzzle elements and nice balance of survival horror loot managing. Combat is present but often needs to be avoided. Interesting story line with clear inspiration from The Thing.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Awesome Game! Interesting story and atmosphere.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very atmospheric and unusual game! Like the mood and concept!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty good for a solo developer. I’ll be waiting for their next projects.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The story leaves a lot unsaid. I’d love to see a sequel.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →NEDRA, developed by Davit Andreasyan and published by indie.io, is a survival horror experience that ventures into the frozen emptiness of Antarctica and transforms isolation itself into a source of terror. Set in an abandoned Soviet-era research facility buried beneath endless snow, the game places the player in a desperate struggle against both the natural elements and an otherworldly presence lurking within the storm. The story begins with a rescue mission gone wrong, leaving the protagonist…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cool story, eerie vibe — a few tiny bugs but nothing serious. Huge respect to the solo dev for keeping it alive and talking with the community.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I just turned over to Buzzr at halftime for the football game. It's the "Match Game/Hollywood Squares Hour" and two of the celebs are... Nedra Volz and Arsenio Hall. Time to drink!
unlabelledView post →this game is criminally overrated, absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of a game with awful mechanics, janky combat and awful optimisations to fps, the gameplay is go from building 1 to building 2 to building 3 (which is actually building 1 in disguise) and then so on. 0/10 i do not recommend also the voice acting is awful
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really enjoyed it—hope the developer continues expanding this world.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I’ve never played a horror game that made me so aware of my own body. Temperature mechanics are genius.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nedra plunges players into a chilling world of horror, set in meticulously detailed environments that feel unsettlingly real. The game's realistic graphics create a haunting atmosphere, where every shadow and sound adds to the suspenseful experience. With its gripping narrative and immersive gameplay, Nedra delivers a spine-tingling journey for horror enthusiasts seeking an atmospheric and realistic thrill.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After the day 2 patch we were able to beat the game. i can finally recommend 95% of the game. there were only a few minor points like stairs. the stairs kept bugging. it almost made me wanna quit again. combat felt a bit slugish. now the great things about the game. the visuals were amazing, the animations of the ending scene was top notch. the driving of the snowmobile was cool as well. this is my 2nd time reviewing this game. hopefully they will patch the last bit up still. i had a few…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nedra was also a popular fixture on several 80s game shows!
unlabelledView post →all in all id say its a pretty decent game, one of the best indie horrors i personally played, and definitely impressive work for a solo developer! there are some bugs like randomly getting stuck in certain places but other than that it's fun to play, and the eerie atmosphere is on point as well! tho i couldnt finish it due to being unable to find the combination for the safe that was said to be "above the map" in that 1 house, i kept looking everywhere and couldn't find it, might just be me…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolutely terrible experience. Physics don’t work half the time; walls are often just a suggestion, because you can frequently move or attack through them. The AI is completely broken, and the protagonist is annoyingly talkative, narrating everything he does (the voice acting is pretty bad too). The story could be interesting, but I don’t think I’ll be able to get past all the bugs to find out. Early on, it’s a very generic “we found an alien object and monsters killed everyone” plot that’s…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →gameplay is choppy and the story is alright at best
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The story in NEDRA honestly surprised me — it's dark, emotional, and really makes you think. Yeah, there are a few small bugs here and there, but considering it's all made by one person who actually listens to players and fixes stuff — that's seriously impressive.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You can feel the developer's soul in this game. Every sound, every light flicker feels handcrafted. For a solo project, this is insanely impressive.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →NEDRA feels like the old-school horror games I grew up with — no cheap jumpscares, just pure atmosphere and psychological tension. Highly recommend with headphones.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Creepy, mysterious, and surprisingly deep. The story kept me guessing until the end. Definitely one of the most immersive solo-developed games I've played.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It might have a few rough edges, but its originality, story, and cinematic atmosphere make it truly unforgettable.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is such a hidden gem.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wow, can't believe one person made all of this that's incredible. The game is awesome, I really enjoyed it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love the gameplay loop with the temperature mechanic and the Frostwalkers.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pros: Frostwalkers and Soviet Cons: Not enough Frostwalkers and Soviet
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wish I could hit my head hard enough to forget this game, just so I could experience it all over again like the first time. 10/10.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I genuinely enjoyed this game. I didn’t run into any bugs, and while the human AI could’ve been a bit smarter, that’s honestly the only minor issue I noticed. Everything else was just fantastic. The story and narrative feel like something straight out of a great book or film. The gameplay is super unique, and the atmosphere completely pulls you in. After finishing Nedra, I checked out the dev’s other game, Inmates, and the story there blew my mind too. This developer clearly knows how to tell…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really liked this one!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is absolutely brilliant.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's worth a playthrough. It can be clunky at times so be aware of that but it's worthwhile to check it out. It's 15 dollars for about 3.5 hours. Maybe pick it up on a sale? :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not going to lie, its janky. The combat is choppy, the monster AI is terrible, sprinting is pretty much pointless, and this game makes you want to drink vodka. However, its fun for the story aspect to see a new spin on cosmic horror. I enjoyed the game, despite the bugs and such.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →NEDRA reminds me a lot of The Thing, albeit I believe it's mostly due to setting than gameplay, but this comparison is the best I can throw around. Not perfect by any means but extremely impressive for a single dev built game, it has a plethora of mechanics to love here; survival, horror, heat management and action, although that last one is more like a last resort than a primary one. Absolutely recommended and the dev keeps updating the game with player feedback which in this day and age,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Feels like Lovecraft, but through the lens of isolation and survival. Absolutely recommended.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There’s a quiet terror here that creeps in slowly and stays with you long after. Exactly what horror should be.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you love sci-fi with a soul, this one’s for you. It really does capture the spirit of Lem in its own way.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dark, smart, and original. No cheap horror tricks — just real tension and atmosphere. Well, okay, there are a couple of jumpscares, but they’re done right.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Brilliant concept — using body temperature as part of the gameplay is both terrifying and clever.
