You have to constantly cook the meals even though you supposedly have a chef. The run key didn't work for me. Rotating the pan only worked half the time. Overall no I wouldn't recommend this game.

I purchased it because of the publisher - Microids - they were cool back in the day. oh well, now they publish this slop works on Linux with Proton, controller support included.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm always on the lookout for games that feel similar to Cooking Mama and this one definitely hits those marks in terms of the feel of the cooking even if it's on keyboard + mouse. Not as much kitchen or "chef" customization, but if you're just wanting to get in and get cooking this will get you there. I enjoyed unlocking the different categories of cuisine slowly as well gives you something to look forward to as you move along and get used to the controls.

As a person who loves cooking games I'd recommend this one I just wish it had a DLC of extra 3 recipes in each cuisine, I can see a line that can have 3 more. I'd really love some extras.

It's not GREAT, but it's not terrible either. It's a cooking simulator game. I bought it after playing F2P cooking games on my phone. My sisters enjoyed the heck out of it, thigh. 4/5

I am quite an adult kid myself so I'm not too picky... but making the dish (my favourite part) takes too long for each table. Cooking requires you, for one example, to press the correct letters on your keyboard that it shows on the screen to crack an egg, Just takes too long all while being too simple. Even if there are timers for each phase of the cooking process, you are not getting any penalty other then lower experience. You can play this game as relaxed as possible because every cooking phase needs you to start it on purpose so if you want to take a break in the middle of a recipe, you can do that.
