positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I didn't want to write this review before I finished the game, and now that I'm over, I must say I recommend Munin to everyone who enjoys some puzzle time. I am new to this kind of game and I really liked the challenge it represented. Each world had it's unique mechanics so it didn't got boring, and the final world just mixes it all up. I have to say that the difficulty between the first 8 worlds and the last is very different and it should be more progressive. I've spent very little time in…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Munin falls into a middle of the road game for me. The scenarios that want to give a glimpse of Norse mythology are evocative and impressive, but alone are not enough to convince, especially if not supported by a real plot that could prevent an exaggerated fraying of the basic concept. While the artwork, music are well done, the actual gameplay fluctuated between too easy and way too hard far too frequently, and the controls were unreliable enough to add to the difficulty.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A simple puzzle game you can get for a dollar right now. Not bad at all.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A puzzle game that's simple yet complex, fun yet intricate. It felt like solving a Rubik's Cube on a computer.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Typical puzzle game where you rotate tiles in which case are parts of the level and collect dark feathers. Level design is decent, sometimes there're two solutions. Gameplay consist of moving with character who is descendant of the vikings (Mjölnir not included), climbing ladders and simple platforming. Music is very soothing and a bit melancholic. Visuals are a bit lacking though. Despite my previous reluctance towards this game, it's not that bad actually. One thing I'm missing though is…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Munin is a mobile app that's been dumped on Steam as if it was a real PC game (it's not)... it's a cash grab from greedy mobile devs. This 10 year old mobile app is a puzzle platformer with a simple gimmick, you can tap on your iPhone screen to rotate sections of the platformer level, which opens up different passages, or rotates obstacles so they're over your head, etc etc. It's a novel concept that might have worked well if the game had higher production values, but this was made with…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For more hardcore puzzle-gamers than I am, much recommended; there's some truly intelligent level design here, and I'd expect no less than 20 hours of gameplay for most. For me too many puzzles per puzzle as well as too many puzzles overall however. That is: many "feathers" per level each of which is its own sub-puzzle were frequently too many, given need to redo all when dying. And die you will, f.e. due to concentrating on one section of a level and thereby missing that another section with…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I only played for about 20 minutes, so i realize my review should be considered in that context. But i didn't see anything that would lead me to want to continue. The puzzles are all based on rotating bits of the environment and finding a path through, and i just wasn't very intrigued by that. I only finished the starting world, so i think it's likely that things would get more difficult, but there was really no challenge at all to the parts i played. I didn't like the slow and plodding…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A clever Norse-themed puzzle platformer where rotating environmental chunks and manipulating physics are key to guiding Odin's raven. The gravity and fluid mechanics add a nice twist to standard spatial puzzles, though some clunky character hitboxes lead to a few cheap, controller-throwing deaths.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Munin is a clever puzzle-platformer built around an unusual idea: instead of relying primarily on jumping skills, players reshape portions of the world itself. Developed by Gojira and published by Daedalic Entertainment, the game draws inspiration from Norse mythology and follows Munin, one of Odin’s ravens, after Loki transforms her into a mortal girl and scatters her feathers across the worlds of Yggdrasil. Recovering those feathers becomes the foundation for a journey that favors…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The puzzles were fun initially until they got harder and harder. Afterwards it was more tedious than fun. Then no fun at all. Finally, it became as frustrating as being in a saw movie.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Interesting puzzle concept. I'm not usually into platform games because I suck at them but this has me fascinated. Multiple sections rotate to create combinations of platforms to reach a target. Some of the levels can be quite challenging and require concentration and logical thought. I'm only part way through the game, choosing to do one level at a time without rushing. Using KB&M. without issues. Good value game at full price although at the time of writing this review there is a 89%…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unfortunately, I didn't get into this game. The music is good, but the overall physics are very stiff. The water levels are just infuriating, the gameplay is meditative, but honestly kind of boring. Your main enemy in this game is boredom. Although the rock giant in the backgrounds in one of the levels really amazed me. If there was more life in the world like that, maybe the game would be more interesting. But the levels are just very blend. The game itself is kinda huge, but I couldn't bring…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a hard recommendation. This puzzle game looks really nice in screenshots and the general idea is fun at first. You have to collect feathers in a fixed screen platformer, with the twist being that you can rotate 3 parts of the screen individually to create different platforms, ladders, etc. About a quarter on, the game will throw you 6 rotation points that will rotate in linked pairs. That's where the fun stops while you frantically starts rotating everything in order to see if it…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a game that I buy it from cdkey, it's a first cdkey game in my library. It's a cool puzzle game, but not in my interest.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not Recommended
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is a puzzle platformer with a beautiful art style and engaging mechanics. While the puzzles are interesting, they can become repetitive. It’s a decent game for puzzle enthusiasts but lacks long-term appeal.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun and beautiful puzzle game, kept me hooked for hours. Played on the Steam Deck but it might be easier on desktop. A large number of different mechanics to keep the rotating mechanic fresh, in very distinct sets of very pretty levels. Puzzle design is super clever, I couldn't decipher how they built these intricate puzzles that acted as combinations of platforming levels, specially in later stages where there are a lot of collectable feathers. Sometimes the rotating mechanic rotating the last…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Munin is one of those games that I thought I was going to think is mostly just okay, and yet it ended up being one of my favourite puzzle games after getting more into the genre in recent months. Plus it helps greatly that it has a Norse mythology setting as you traverse the nine worlds of Yggdrasil. The idea of the game is to flip tiles of a map around in order to progress through the levels to collect feathers to beat levels, but it is a formula that is constantly shaken up, with each world…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Stories - can't tell much Gameplay - different mechanic each level Is it worth buying? For a cheap price... yes!??!?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is very cool and different, so do recommend it for that...but...it locks up sometimes and so you can't solve the puzzle. Also there is no way to see where you have been or what puzzles you have already done, once it locks. Nothing organized anyway...so when you stop and restart it is a bit confusing, it doesn't bring you to where you left off. These things have made me not play it through all of the way as it is just too much trouble. This is a bummer because it is a cool idea.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →at first it was fun but its actually not fun
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't know why I keep buying these norse wrapped games. I think you could have wrapped this plattformer action in what ever else and it would be more interesting and less of a cliché. The gameplay could have been smoother, but oh well that's what you get. 1.5/3 stars. Hits the middle of the Meh-scale.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game it self is a fine puzzle and that has great art and give you a glimpse of Norse mythology that isn't just the typical things you see about them but it's a negative review because I just found out it has no cloud saves in the worst way . . already did a few worlds and my old PC hard drive had to be replaced so I wanted to come back to finish this game in my backlog only to find out all my save file is gone and had to do all from the start if you do intend to play it make sure you have…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →my uncle used to play this game. he died but i got his pc. some ratings for this game are bad, especially from big companies like gamespot. but it reminds me of him. it may not be realistic, but it is worth your time. if you are thinking about buying it, you should.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →https://youtu.be/ixNfduv3elE Generally clever basic idea but it quickly becomes mainly brute force trial and error that is far less rewarding.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Before I start yapping I want you to know that you've opened up a MASSIVE can of worms because that raven with the blue dyed Mohawk is Munin the Raven from my favorite fighting game Brawlhalla!! She is my FAVORITE bird character (and my sona vini was a bit inspired by her lmao)
unlabelledView post →Fun brain twister. Although some levels are just a bit too long. The levels are kind of like trial and error, the complexity doesn't really allow you to really understand how they function, you just kinda have to go with the flow and adapt.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its fun as a puzzle game, calming Nordic music and beautiful graphics. Each realm feels wonderful to play through and stunning to just observe,
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Скандинавский пазл-платформер. У меня почему-то идет в 30 fps. Меня не сильно зацепило, не мой жанр.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Intricate and clever level design probably made by some kind of mad genius. Top soundtrack. Beautiful sceneries. Absolutely addicted. A gem.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The main character looks laughable, like some black metal emo bobble head. The whole Norse mythology aspect is just an awkward backdrop for an uninspired puzzle platformer. Somebody else in their review already said it well: "It could very well be a yellow circle collecting dots." I feel if you just took the puzzles and presented them in a less convoluted setting (visuals along the lines of Quell-games), there could be an enjoyable game here. This is by no means a worthless game, but as it…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Can't tell much.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Almost a good game. The problem is that you get so far in a puzzle and then you die unexpectedly. You have to repeat the whole puzzle again, then you'll die again only to repeat. Very annoying.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A nice relaxing puzzle game until it kinda drove me mad when I got to a point I couldn't solve. So that was that.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good puzzle game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is HARD. There were a lot of times playing this where I'd solve one level and then have to take a break before my brain recharged enough to even look at the next one. I'd like to come back in a year or three and take another swing at the last achievement but for now I'm just going to feel proud of myself for finally beating it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →★★☆☆☆ (2 Stars) This fell short, not many or any redeeming qualities. Shagwrath Says: Really cool art style, that's what got me to buy the game. But it was a pretty standard platformer otherwise.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Beautiful game but some levels were extremely difficult. Additionally, there were numerous levels where it was hard to see the avatar in relation to the puzzle.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a good Mind Bending Puzzle game, good presentation overall, long enough to justify it's price point, although some of the puzzles can be very confusing.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This one is really challenging. Good game to kill few boring evenings.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A really satisfying but challenging puzzle game. A very good Norse theme and has been done well, probably a lot more challenging towards the end than other wider known puzzle games like Limbo etc but not to the point where it becomes frustrating. A longer game than expected as well!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →8 out of 10 Overall a descent puzzle game. the music is relaxing and the concepts are not very difficult. I want to give the game a higher rating but until I have finished the game...this is my current stand point. (so far no timed puzzles or enemies...just a chill game thus far)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sitting home in quarantine. Open refrigerator -> open Facebook -> read news about Corona -> repeat. Then I bumped into Munin, a decent puzzle game, original and clever. I bought it for a ridicules price and I am having fun. Not the most beautiful art but some of the levels are quite tricky. worth a shot, It will keep you busy for a couple of hours.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the game becomes a little difficult after a few stages and it takes a lot of patience to complete the puzzles, but if you are calm enough for this, it can be a very cool game and you can spend hours of your day having fun ^^

On second thought, AC7 might have the worst boss fight designs I’ve seen in an Ace Combat game that makes AC Zero’s bosses blush in comparison (which we’ll get to later). But -
