The game suffers from some minor issues but over all a fun and enjoyable experience. The art style is light and cartoony, but well done. The stages are fun and mix in some interesting mechanics here and there. Rough around the edges but still a good score for just five bucks!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I never played Muffin Knight on IOS, but I can tell you that on PC it is extremely fun. There are lots of challenges in the game that will give you hours of fun. Muffin Knight is responsive and quirky and deserves at the very least a small amount of your time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ignoring the fact that this is just a copy of another free game, this game is really just bad. 1. It still feels like a mobile game, and feels really unpolished 2. The weapons have a very unsatisfying feeling to it, it feels like all the weapons are weak and they have 0 knockback 3. The game lacks content. 4. It's more expensive than it should be. I can spot 2 dollar games that are over 5 times more fun than this. Nearly everything this game has the free version outdo it, in art style, level…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very simplistic game, yet fun for a while! Platform arena This game plays in a small confined arena where muffins and mobs spawn. The mobs move forward until a wall makes them turn around. You can kill them for xp, and if they touch you, you die. The end of their route is a firepit, and if they reach it their speed and xp double one time, making it a lot more hectic! The muffins force you to swap to a random other unlocked class, which are unlocked by collecting certain amount of muffins.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought this game under the impression that it supports two players locally. I have played the android and ios versions of this game extensively, so I know there must be local multiplayer. Although technically two players can't play in one mobile device (two players should have separate mobile devices connected to the same wifi network) in their mobile app. But since this is a PC version, I was hoping it had local multiplayer the moment I voted for Greenlight way back. Fast forward to the…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Muffin Knight is a game that looks catered towards toddlers, but is a perfect example of the idiom 'don't judge a book by its cover'. Despite looking very innocent and easy, 'Muffin Knight' is a surprisingly challenging game - especially if you're attempting to 5-star it. With a fantastic single-player and multiplayer co-op, Muffin Knight is a fast-paced game full of enjoyment, challenge and charm. Whilst the plot is simple and the graphics are subpar, Muffin Knight excels in its gameplay and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Oh my goodness, this game is so addicting and fun! I had tried it previously for a few minutes and just thought "eh", but then while cleaning up my Steam library I gave it another try- and I am SO glad I did! This game is cheerful, entertaining, and a great way to just get lost in a fun, simple game. I love all the different characters (especially the unicorn!) and the Christmas map is creative and fun (all the maps are great, but I liked the mechanics in that one). My only dislike about it is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I want to like this game, I really do. It is very similar to Super Crate Box. The biggest problem I have with this game is the controls are very unresponsive at times, and often results in your death. Super frustrating. As a result, I cannot recommend it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Some people compare this to Super Crate Box - yeah, yeah - but first off Super Crate Box is imo UGLY... Muffin Knight is MUCH better looking but what really makes this game for me is that it's co-op! The co-op play is super fun! VERY addicting Worth every cent! The one game where it's ok to grab your partners muffin!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →if you play this game with your friend you'll enjoy
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In defense of this game, it works. Which is really a big thing for a lot of low effort 2D platformers/shooters/whatever the indie studios churn out in shovelware by the tonne every year. The sound and graphics really function. The art style for a lot of the levels is thematically ripped from a strange combination of Mario and World of Warcraft. Look, we're in Undercity! Look, we're in Zangarmarsh! Gameplay is nothing new, the basic mechanic is present in literally over 1,000 Steam…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just don't. This game isn't worth your money. No matter how much discount it has. It's boring, tiring, madening and kinda addicting. Gameplay is easy, just jump on platforms (which looks like somebody borrowed from Smash Bros), collect muffins and fight enemies. Every time you pick up muffin, character you play as changes. Seems like good idea, right? No, couse sometimes you are not ready for it, that means it's easy to get killed. I won't say anything bad about visuals, those are kinada cool…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game is so much fun i've played this game so much it's difficult and simple to understand
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun, but short game for the price. Gets repetitive after a while as the higher campaigns are the same and you can't keep progress which makes no sense.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My enjoyment of this game stems from my 5th grade year when me and my friends could play this on muffin-knight-sc.surge.sh/fullscreen.html with native client, and I was distraught when it closed. Now I find the 5 dollars I spent on this to be completely worth it. It's quite simple but truly amazing. Btw record at 513 muffins in one go
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Summary: (longer version below) A short game suffering issues related to controllers, multiplayer and achievements. I would recommend this game if it weren't for the fact that these are important factors to me, making the game (personally) much less enjoyable than what it would've been. It's otherwise a pretty decent game. Achievements: Cloud Saving: Trading Cards: Workshop: YES NO NO NO Click…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Super Crate Box clone with much more expensive-looking production values. If only they'd had enough money to hire a game designer to come up with original enemies and weapons instead of copying the Super Crate Box ones... The biggest distinction is that instead of getting a totally cool weapon when you unlock it, it starts out 1/3rd as cool and you have to buy upgrades to make it as good as the Super Crate Box version, but no better. Also, the explosions are less satisfying.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game to let time fly by! Enjoy it thorougly. It's funny, entertaining and full of colour! Love the characters; especially the Unicorns and Zombie! Great animations for each character and the abilities that they have! Love collecting muffins xD I want them all! :o Game is simple, yet intriguing when playing as you want to collect all the muffins without being hit by monsters!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TL;DR: Cheap mobile port. Expect nothing. - No resolution option. - No resizable window in windowed mode. - No local co-op. - Clone of Super Crate Box. - Can't see the entire level at once, making it a bit harder to see the enemies. - Sometimes the enemies drop from the spot without the cloud (unfairly killing you). - Grinding for unlocking characters and for getting points to upgrade characters. - No Steam cloud, no easy way to backup the save. - Navigating the menus with the joystick can be…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Get the game on a mobile device. Not on PC. This is one of the laziest ports I think I've ever seen, seeming to have had no changes to make it more fit for a PC. There are no options for whether you could run the game in a window, you're stuck in fullscreen. Even if you used the Alt+Enter trick to put in in windowed mode, you better have a huge monitor because the game runs in like 123481596x123458712349 pixels. I have dual monitors, and it took both monitors to display the whole game in…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TL;DR: OK game, could be fun. Controls have lag or delay, music ok but kinda repetitive, cute graphics, achievements grindy/tricky, esp COOP/MP. Story? simple as it looks (kids). Devs didn't bothered to add local co-op, keep that in mind. There were times I almost ragequitted and gave it a thumbs down. Since I can't remember much now, I'll give it a pass :P Part of the BLAEO. ---{Graphics}--- ☐ You forget what reality is ☐ Beautiful ☑ Good ☐ Decent ☐ Bad ☐ Don‘t look too long at it ☐ Made with…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Muffin Knight is a super simple platforming game where you run around a level trying to collect muffins and fight monsters. It's a fun concept, and it works great on mobile devices, but this port just doesn't work on a computer. It's just way too simple for a computer, and gravity feels way stronger than in most platformers, which doesn't matter much on a tiny screen but on a computer screen it just feels wrong, especially if you play other platformers with better physics. The layout of the…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I had a blast with this game. So cute and easy to play, and gets really intense at times. It's pretty much flawless besides some minor control issues. Five stars!~
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was weary of this game as it seemed like just another mobile port. Unfortunately for me it is damned addicting and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Which is bad because I feel like there are so many other things I should be doing with my time other than eating muffins as a sumo panda. 5/5 Would poop on sheep again
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is too cute! I play it every now and then. It reminds me of Bubble Bobble, which I loved as a child.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So I was doing my homework and all of the sudden I got bored so I thought I would take a 10 minute break break, I remembered I just bought like 30 games from the winter christmas sale so I went through them and this one looked fun.. Then I played for what felt like 10 minutes which was actually 3 hours later.. This game is addicting and fun worth every penny! Don't let me disclude time consuming.. So Z is the shoot key and I think both my finger and the Z key are done for... 11/10 would suffer…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Never known such an easy concept game to be very frustrating. It's a fun game, but no one really plays it anymore and then to boot some of the achievements are broken. Which makes going for them very annoying and difficult to do, wish the dev's of this game would fix the broken achievement's.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Recommended! This game is so goood. Plays well with both keyboard and gamepad. Great sense of humor. Nice visuals and sounds. Smooth gameplay. Plus...you have a chance to be Muffin Knight! PORS: - you're Muffin Knight: you collect muffins and slay mean monsters - 10 maps to play on, each of them is different ;) - good graphics - good sounds - good music tune - great voice acting :) - works well with both keybard and gamepad (gameplad found and working well, which is unfortunatelly not so…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The same mechanic as in Super Crate Box, but not executed as well, with a much more twee style (I'm not a fan - sorry), and too much focus on a long 'upgrade path'.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I would not play this in a house, I would not play this with a mouse, I would not play this every day, I would not play this anyway, I would not play this awful game, Now put it down and go away.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'd refund this if I still had the option. I have very few positive things to say about this. I guess the graphics are charming enough, and.... uh.... that's it. The controls are bad. Movement is kinda wonky, jumping doesn't feel right. The gameplay itself is very boring. Pick up muffins, dont make contact with enemies. Got boring very quickly. Kind of feels like an aspiring game dev's first game, or some flash game from the olden days. Also, the controller support is terrible. You can barely…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Creating something unique is becoming a more and more difficult task in the world of smartphone gaming. There are so many games out there, and so many other people making new ones, that your brilliant idea has probably already been built and released. Equally, the huge swathe of clones and copycats that bloat the App Store make it even more refreshing when something does come along that's that little bit different. Muffin Knight, from Angry Mob Games, is one such breath of fresh air. As…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No multiplayer with non-Steam friends. SMH.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →addicting gameplay but joystick support is... not great. there are times i get stuck with having to use the mouse, i would love to fully enjoy this with a controller and no need for a mouse. also, there are times when using the joystick, it seems like it gets stuck moving. i tried two different 360 controllers, ps4, and xbone controllers.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is addicting and awesome! I got all the characters the first day I got the game. What I like to do is have one computer multiplayer, and by that I mean two people control one character. One person moves and another person attacks. One of the good things about this game is you can bind different keys so that the arrow keys are not the movement.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I know I know. "WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? SUPER CRATE BOX CAME FIRST! I LOVE SCB AND MUFFIN KNIGHT RIPS IT OFF!!!!" Now, I do agree that MK may need to show documentation about copyright, but this review is about the result of MK rather than everyone's little "Controversy". Quite a number of maps, upgradable powers, cosmetic changes that have their own powers, and Multi-Player. The art for it is well-done and is very easy on the eyes. However, the music does get a tad annoying... A…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →10:11 PM 3/3/2015 Muffin Knight Review I like this game, a lot. But that's only because I love Super Crate Box. And this is literally Super Crate Box, just a rip off version of the game. Oh and this is the $6.99 version, SCB is free! And better! Honestly, it's easier to name the differences than the similarities. Okay where to begin. Differences: In SCB, you start with a random weapon each round. In Muffin Knight, I always start with the knight. In SCB, there are no popups mid game…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While the gameplay for Muffin Knight is actually kind of fun for a little while, it quickly becomes repetitive and boring. The different levels that you unlock as you go along are pretty much all the same and don't really do much different with the gameplay. The only thing that changes between the levels is the enemies and the layout. The Layouts rarely make the game more interesting to play or change things up, and while the enemies change, the basic enemy types do not. There are the flying…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Muffin knight a game that emulates real life where the goal is to get the muff before the other person in order to score. Honestly it is a game worth buying if you have a friend and some time to kill. Jumping around trying to get the other person killed by the monsters before they do the same to you is fun, especially when the muffins change you everytime you grab one. There is a basic level up progression and character unlock and you will unlock everything with just playing the game. Fun in…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has many STARCH differences to others. The angry enemies are MUFFIN to all the powerful characters. I have so much playing this game, I find myself playing all KNIGHT, guess I need to hit the BAKES. I would buy it for all my friends but I down want to WHISK them not liking it. Overall 10/10

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →game made me any my friend suffer through vomiting candy. I am traumatized.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun for a while but not for long because of repetitiveness. Control support exists but is pretty poor. Navigating menus is tough and during gameplay it's just feel a bit too inaccurate. Multiplayer is decent but there's definitely better games out there for that purpose.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute little game that requires friends. It quickly got a bit repetitive and may only hold your interest for two to three hours as it did for me. This is more fun when you play with your friends. So I'd only recommend it if you have a friend to play it with. 6/10 [url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/45905648-Gork%2527s-Game-Grind/]Check out my curated list of games
