60 of 170 · most liked firstMouseCraft is a puzzle game that should appeal to casual gamers and hardcore puzzle enthusiasts alike. Finding one solution to pass a level is usually trivial, but if you aim to collect every anima shard and get all three mice to the cheese, you might be in for a challenge. The first stage is relatively simple and does a good job of introducing you to the gameplay mechanics. By the end of stage two though, I found myself genuinely stumped at some of the puzzles. I probably spent a good ten…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →How in all the hells does this thing have a 96% approval rating? This is a game that should be ad-paid on mobile, but it's $15 on Steam instead. I'm not even exaggerating. The puzzles and mechanics are ridiculously simple. I'm not talking casual-level simple, I'm talking 'may entertain a small child' simple. This is NOT a cross between Tetris and Lemmings. You don't have block falling from the sky that you have to accomodate, you just pick them up and place them where you want them at any…

The puzzles are straighforward, but propose a nice, non-frustrating challenge should you decide to get a "Perfect" rating. I think the game finds a nice…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →MouseCraft is Tetris mixed with Lemmings, but instead of lemmings there are mice. It's original and works very well. I don't really know what more to say about it, because I think most of us will be able to visualize what it will play like now. If you like the sound of it, just buy it already. [Rating: 73/100]
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mousecraft is very similar to tetris puzzles, using the same style blocks only with a twist. You get a set amount of differant blocks to use and you must place them in a way so the mice can get to the cheese with out killing them. You also must try and collect the crystals as well. As you progress through the puzzles you earn more blocks, being differant type's, jelly blocks for the softer landings and bomb blocks to blow…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its good looking puzzle game. Its just too easy. For 80 levels i had to think a little bit harder about maybe 4 or 5 of them. + simple game mechanics have great potential to create something amazing (maze + tetris like pieces with different functions), + you can to do it yourself in built in level creator (huge plus for implementing this), - to unveil its true value this game should have Steam Workshop!!! I would love to see what puzzles were created by other people!!! I had some fun with…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its Lemmings with Mice and Tetris Blocks <3, very fun and has some nice, clever puzzles at the advanced stages.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice and smart iteration of [url=http://store.steampowered.com/app/111800/]Blocks That Matter (BTM) and [url=http://store.steampowered.com/app/235980/]Tetrobot & Co. (T&Co) ideas. It’s about: helping mice get their deserved piece of cheese by setting up blocks of widely-known shapes and using level's enviroment; deliver all mice to extraction point safely for higher score; collecting special crystals to unlock next levels; collecting bombs and exploding some of the blocks to clear the way…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Got at a deep discount of $2, but the technical issues ruin what the otherwise enjoyable puzzle game. Every once in a while, the game decides that most things aren't clickable anymore [if you're in windowed mode] Even worse: if you're in fullscreen mode, semi-crashes and takes over whatever screen it's on. Couldn't even task manager it closed due [which is honestly impressively bad] I realize my experience probably isn't the norm, but still frustrating.

Gameplay / Story In MouseCraft you slip into the role of the slightly crazy looking cat scientist Schrödinger, who wants to lure as many mice as possible to his invention in order to use their energy for his plans. The aim is to guide the mice to the cheese with the help of Tetris puzzle pieces. The parts can be rotated, placed and destroyed. There are also special power-ups available to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very entertaining game and with almost 7 hours of playtime totally worth it's money.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tedious. That's the only way I can describe the game. At first it's ok, some what interesting but quickly becomes tiresome. Late game puzzles have you timing things to split one of your three mice down a different path to trigger some explosion or collect an item, then you remove the block that split your mice and all three get to the end - rinse & repeat. Lemmings had you doing different things with your lemmings, these mice just run in one direction. There is no real story so it's just…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →'MouseCraft' is a combination of Tetris and Lemmings as puzzle game with mice. Desc: Your goal is to guide every 3 mice in each level to the exit (cheese). Each level gives you certain amount of blocks which can be rotated and placed everywhere. You have to collect in some levels blue crystals to unlock the next level. Within the first level you only have "normal" blocks like the Z, L or I of Tetris but over the time you unlock new blocks like a jelly block which prevents a mouse to die when…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game is already great although i'ts still in early access! + Tetris and lemmings combination + Nice Music + Great Design + No in-game bugs + Challenging puzzles - Only 30 levels - Steam Trading card doesn't work
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got this in a bundle and I must say the trailers left me skeptikal: I thought the game would be very basic with little variety and creativity. But thankfully, Mousecraft is much better than I first thought. You must help mice reach each level's destination and collect crystals along the way. The mice go mindlesly forward and your only way to help them is by using Tetris-like blocks to make them a viable path. It sound basic, but Mousecraft regularly introduces new kinds of blocks (explosive,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very enjoyable puzzle game. The graphics are charming and suit it perfectly. Puzzles are challenging but not unreasonably hard. (Currently have gold on all available levels) A must buy for puzzle lovers, especially for the price they want. Waiting eagerly for the upcoming levels.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's 10/10 already just because it has "Mouse" in the title Other than that, it combines my two favorite childhood games, Lemmings and Tetris. I used to play these all the time when I was young... But combining those 2 with mice? If it was possible to legally rate higher than 10, I would have. Also, :cheese: is the best emote ever.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tetris + Lemmings = MouseCraft
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mousecraft is a solid little puzzle game worth getting at half price or below. I don't think it has enough hours of gameplay to get at full price, though. In the game you place tetrominos (combinations of four blocks for those not familiar with that term) on the platform in order to help your mice get to the cheese. The 80 levels increase steadily in difficulty, adding different obstacles and kinds of blocks to make things different. It's a good puzzle game, and enough of a challenge to keep…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good for casual puzzle games. The difficulty so far may be not enough for hardcore puzzle players. The graphics, music and effects for a puzzle game is great. The game divided into 4 sections and the beta version only available 2 sections and 1 more level from the 3rd section, which means 41 levels. There should be 80 levels in the full game. As the game goes, new features will be unlocked, giving more variety things to the puzzle.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've only played a handful of the levels in this game but it's lovely. Graphics and sound work well and puzzles are entertaining. Looking forward to playing some more.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pros: -Fun fusion of puzzle styles. -Cute graphics. -Great music. -Easy to pick up. -Satisfying solutions to puzzles. Cons: -May be too easy for some, lacking in many real head scratchers until late in the game. -Simplistic in places. During the winter of 2012/2013, I went to war with the mouse expeditionary force that had invaded my flat. Taking advantage of the crumbling foundations of the old terrace building I live in, they attempted to take over. Eventually I managed to fight back the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One great thing about this game is you get to a level which looks fiendishly difficult, you just place a few blocks and start it up and then you're on your way. Then you can start to rack your brain on how to get all the crystals (shards). NICE FAMILIAR TETRIS BLOCKS BUT TETRIS SKILLS ARE NOT REQUIRED HERE ! Excellent game all round, highly recommended.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →We've been playing this game with the kid for a while by now. The design is great as it allows you to progress fast, if you want, and then come back to each level to hit a perfect score. The best part is the family brainstorm that happens when we get stuck on a specific level. To me, this game is the "old school game design", in a good way: the game is well-polished, the controls are intuitive, and you can see a bunch of UI solutions that were made to help the player. Totally recommending this,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty high production values, nice graphics, sounds, etc. The puzzle gameplay is fairly standard puzzle except it's a little bit more lame because really all you are doing is placing or destroying tetris shaped pieces. Can't really recommend it, but I'm sure some folks out there may enjoy it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Are you looking for a cute looking puzzle game and are not afraid of mice? Then look no further, you got the perfect game for an evening or more (depending on your puzzle skills). The game includes 80 puzzles with different elements you have to unlock on the way, like electrocute, T.N.T., acid, ... Also included is a level editor. Too bad without Steam Workshop, so no Library with user created puzzles but only your own or those sent to you by your friends.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little time killer. Needed to cheat on a few levels from youtube haha
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a great concept, but I'm just not sure on the execution. Also, everything about this game suggests it was a port from a mobile game... and yet somehow, it isn't a port from a mobile game. Why? It feels like the devs have missed a trick here.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is absolutely brill! I love it! I really hope the best for this wonderful game design team. God bless you guys! Play this game! It is VERY super cute awesome badass funs!!!!! HIGHLY recommended by one of the top gamers on earth and one favorited streamer on Twitch.tv....ME!

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mousecraft is a fun little puzzle game. Ignore the sales pitch about Tetris and Lemmings though, the actual gameplay doesn't really have much in common with either of them. The puzzles themselves are fairly traditional fare. For each level you are given a set of blocks that you need to place on the map to guide your mice to cheese and collect as many crystals along the way as possible. Overall the levels are pretty simple, even if the addition of different special blocks in later levels does…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Got it in a bundle, $5aud... very impressed :D kids/misses love it No microtransactions or gated content, which is what you should be expecting when a game is not free 8/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game mechanic is fun for a while, but not long enough to be worth more than 5 bucks. The learning curve is all right, but in combination with the childish setting, it tests your patience. Not recommended for people over 14, otherwise the game is OK
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Plays like a mix of Lemmings and Tetris. Place blocks to guide the mice to the end of the level while avoiding traps and collecting gems. Highly enjoyed it. The only wish I can think of would be Steam workshop integration for the level editor.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought this a while back when it was early access because it looked so amazing and I finally got around to playing it. I have to say, it's highly amusing and entertaining. Of course the first levels are simple, as with any game you have to understand the basics. This actually reminds me of the gifted program IQ testing, being able to predict an outcome many steps ahead (except with much less mouse death). I find some levels incredibly easy and others I rage at and have to walk away from for a…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →FUN!!! FUN!!! FUN!!! I miss the Lemmings Game so very much. This game brings back the fun memories. Thank you!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →MouseCraft is actually a very fun, but intellectually stimulating puzzle game where your goal is to "guide" 3 mice to the cheese and collect blue shards each level. To do this, you place/destroy different types of tetris like blocks for the mice to move on or other purposes. Now this sounds pretty straightforward, and it is quite simple to actually beat any level. However, it actually gets quite challenging if you want to perfectly finish each level with all three mice and all the blue shards.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm having a lot of fun with this game, the puzzles are challenging and you have a lot of levels until you finish the game, in the meantime if you get bored you can even create your own levels. I was a fan of Lemmings and this game has some structure similarities to it. You can easily find this game with a great deal, highly recommend it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wonderful puzzle game packed with charm and smarts. Fantastic puzzle design can at times drive you to brink of madness trying to figure out how to get a perfect score, especially on the later levels. Cannot recommend this enough.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game has a really cool story! 9.5/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun little puzzle game, that's a great time waster, it's an enjoyable concept for a puzzle game and one that interesting enough to keep your satisfied for a fair amount of time as it introduces new things to keep the game interesting, which i find is very unlike most puzzle games, as by doing the same thing constantly without changing the game play in anyway, you get sick of the game much quicker, so i'm glad it has that, would definetly recommend this to any puzzled game fan like me, a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Haven't played enough just yet, but I'm not done the first section before being challenged with the puzzles. Cute animations and engaging backstory (well for me at least). I got this game in the Humble Bundle. Definitely coming back to finish all the other levels.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Eh, the trailer is misleading, there is no voice acting whatsoever in the game. Also, I find it amazing how this was early access for steam but yet has the interface of a smartphone app. Something is not right and in any case this game is too expensive so you shouldn't get it unless it's on a sale higher than 50%. To be honest, if i were talking to a friend and he saw this game and asked me if I should recommend him getting it, I would say no, and hence, I wil say no here as well.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not if you want to play on Linux / Steam OS with a Controller. I now need to place some bombs, however the Howto Popups only mention Keyboard shortcuts.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →MouseCraft is cross somewhere between Lemmings and Tetris, which might sound bit strange mix, but it works pretty well. Both of those games are classics, everybody should know Tetris and while Lemmings isn't as widely know, it can be considered a cult hit. For those that weren't playing games during 90s, in short Lemmings was game where lemmings needed to be lead safely to exit. That was done by assigning different tasks like digging to few of the lemmings. As that has to be done at the same…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a great game to play when you feel like playing some simple styled gameplay.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For anyone in 2024 who sees this game on the current sale where it's 99 cents: It's totally worth it at that price. If you can't get the game's graphics to load properly, try full screen. It's cute. Puzzles are interesting. Music isn't bad either.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really wanted a mix of Lemmings and The Incredible Machine, and I think my expectations for this title were too high. It has a decent amount of polish, but I was immediately turned off by two things. First, the way the mid-solution changes were implemented: Solutions that require mid-play changes à la lemmings can be fun, but the number of creatures on either side of a solution were never balanced with a massive amount of input creatures and generous success requirements. There are…
