60 of 69 · most liked firstI'm not too sure what people were expecting with this collection, but from the reviews I hvae read, you people have been far too harsh for what it is and when it was made. Moto Racer 1 is a PS1 game which, I believe, was ported to the PC (or released at the same time as the PS1 version). The graphics are old and it's going to have the odd glitch and incompatibility now and then. Anyone without common sense should know that your 'Octa core processor with SLI'd GTX 770s' would have compatibility…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a collection, so be aware that the original games have not been improved upon. The store page is not ambiguous about that, but I'd rather reiterate because you might have different expectations in this age of HD remakes. Having loved the original Moto Racer back in the day, a straight port was fine by me, except... Moto Racer 1 won't launch on my machine -- launcher fails to set colour depth. There might be a way around it, like setting my display to 16-bit manually, but I can't be…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hey fellow steam users! I bought this on 11/13/2014 and I have tested both Moto Racer 1, 2, 3, and 4 are all playable. Here's my review for each one: 1. Moto racer, the bonafide classic. not many tracks, but the game is wonderful, old-school, and arcadey. A definate must-have! 4:3 only, use the "black bars" mode. 2. Just like its predecessor, this game is wonderful and fast and arcadey. Much more tracks this time around, but the game is a tad more realistic and not quite as arcadey as MR1. If…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don't get this collection. I have fond memories of playing MotoRacer in my youth. So getting to play the first one again was a blast (Even if I had to lower the quality of the polygons because I was getting lag) until I made it to the fourth championship where the game told me that I was running an "illegal copy of the game" and I couldn't accelerate. So the steam verion I purchased is running an illegal copy of the game. Not to mention that there are so many issues and bugs with the first and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Got this game on the Week long sale on 20/07/2015. First thing I gotta say, yes, it works. All the games loaded an run. I do agree with other reviews saying that they could have tried to make it more compatible. There are unplayable areas (mostly when you're playing a dirt race with many competitors on screen) and MASSIVE slowdowns... Could be better. Now the biggest reason for the Negative review: they f*** up Moto Racer 2! Why was the great, perfect soundtrack changed? WHY? I do believe I…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Almost completely unplayable! You can get some parts of it to work if you tinker with it but even then you will run into major problems. This was a great series, but this collection isn't worth the headache!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →To get MotoRacer 1 & 2 playing nicely on Windows 10 all you need is dgVoodoo2. Copy all MS\x86 Direct3D DLLs into same folder as game's EXE. Also copy the main dgVoodooCpl.exe into same folder as game's EXE. Run dgVoodooCpl.exe once and click the .\ button to set the current game's folder as the main settings folder. I left everything defaults but you could pick a GeForce4 Ti 4800 card for DirectX. MotoRacer 1 & 2 runs perfectly fine on default settings of dgVoodoo2. Also, MotoRacer 1 & 2 can…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Moto Racer games were a staple of my childhood. The CD for the first game is probably still at my parent's house somewhere. And the games themselves are still reasonably fun, if not very dated. But this collection is abysmal. It's honestly amazing how lazy this collection is. First, there's the launcher. The launcher is the laziest part of this collection. It was very obviously made with Windows forms (So I doubt we'll ever see a Mac or Linux port of this), and was made by someone who…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is unbelieveable, how much crap the people are writing, without getting their stuff fixed themself. Sorry about that, but it is really necessary to explain everyone, how wrong the negative reviews are! 1. All parts of Moto Racer got controller support! Even the 3rd is playable with the XBOX360 Controller! You can change the controls in every part. From Moto Racer 1 - 3! Just check the configuration settings in the games (or launcher in the 3rd part). 2. There was nowhere written, that…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →MotoRacer - Couldn't get it running at all MotoRacer 2 - Completely unplayable with audio only and a mess of heavily artifacted and broken video MotoRacer 3 - No controller support, only oldschool resolutions MotoRacer 4 - Only oldschool resolutions Tracking down custom wrappers or random .exes / .dlls from questionable at best sources to attempt to run these games properly is not something I should need to do after buying this package. I'm getting sick of companies dumping retro titles…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Microid has built an imperium on commercial waste Of what matters the great collection of titles you got, when you haven't made a single positive contribution for the franchise. Check Moto Racer 4, check Syberia 3. The Microids Moto Racer pack, is such a lousy port, that it barely resembles the GOG version. It's not just that it stutters constantly, something that makes it barely playable. its more than that, It literally feels and plays like a different game. i easily recommend Checking GOG…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →2 of them works fine, but the other two you need to fix yourself Also steam only counts time on the launcher where you choose the game, not on any game you play Moto Racer 1 If you use dgVoodoo2 it works But if you don't have CD rom you need to mount any iso, otherwise game won't work Moto Racer 2 Using dgVoodoo2 fixes the game too, but on races it's in ridiculous small resolution that i don't know how to fix The other two, Moto Racer 3 and 15th aniversary, works fine
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is based on the classic game for Playstation 1 and for the PC. This game is just like the old game, fun fun fun. From reading other reviews, it seems like some were expecting this game to be up to date graphics and did not notice that it is called a Collection. These are the original games, and the 15th Anniversary Game you get to play them all and relive all the fun over again. If you have played this game in the past, I highly recommend that you pick this game up!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →On Moto Racer 1 you have to fix somethings to make it run. Apart of this, its a classic.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Seems like decent value at first since you're getting 4 games at once, except that most of the titles either don't run at all or aren't optimised to run on modern rigs.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you like Moto Racer from back in the old Windows 95 days this is perfect for you. 1, 2 and 3 play extremely well and work on computers now a days like an emulator for an N64 or NES. the remake 15th version plays a lot like Moto Racer DS which is not the best thing to happen at all to Moto Racer. I suggest mostly playing 1 2 and 3. Leave the remake alone. Pretty sweet though. 10 Bucks is insane though. This should at least be worth 4.50. So yeah. MAJOR nostalgia factor if you can get 1,2 and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Moto Racer 1 Works but stutters hard every time there is bigger change in speed. Moto Racer 2 Doesn't work, says it needs 16bit screen mode and just starts in ridiculous small resolution but the game has bigger one so it just shows nothing but enlarged number 2. Moto Racer 3 Terrible game but it works. Moto Racer 15h Anniversary Does work but it is not even widescreen and the graphics don't seem any better what you have in first game, I would even argue first game looked and played way…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →When you press "PLAY" button it opens up a small menu window where you can select Moto Racer 1 - 4. Steam only tracks the menu, not the actual game you play but the menu only last until you select the game so it's not easy to write a review unless you leave the menu on for awhile. OK now, on to to more relevant review. Mostly no problem to run on my laptop except Moto Racer 3. The error message leads you to think that it's a driver or Direct-x problem. Actually it's a monitor resolution issue.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First off, I will admit that after the download, Moto Racer 1 did not work UNTIL, after about 2 minutes of googling, I found the fix (I will put the link at the end of this review. Notes on the fix will also be at the end). I only bought this game for nostalgia, and boy did it deliver! The graphics are not too hot, but that is because these games are old (Moto Racer 1 came out in 1997). I don't recommend this game to people looking for simulators, but if you like easy-to-load, fast-paced arcade…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just forget what people complain about this collection here, the games are awesome and work perfectly. I really don't know what they were expecting, but didn't find any of the mentioned problems, and some others are just superfluous. You have here three PS1/PS2 era games with nice graphics for their time, of course they are kinda limited if you compare to more recent ones, but that's expected. There is also the remake of the first game, which is a bit strange at first sight, but you get used to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Having only ever played two tracks of Moto Racer original on the Total Arcade 98 demo CD as a kid, it was a godsend to find the full game here on steam. Who can forget the classic first track, Speed Bay! And for some reason I really enjoy the menu - "Enter your name, Make your choice, play solo, select your mode , let's go!" "3,2,1, GO!" - soooo 90's! And who can forget: YOU LOST THE RACE. The dirt bike track framerates were really stuttering to the point they were unplayable, but when I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Moto Racer Collection includes the legendary Moto Racer, that I have played with an 3dfx Voodoo card on the PC over 20 years ago. A simple, but fun arcade racer, that impressed with its high speed and great responsiveness. Just race and have fun. While the Steam edition of Moto Racer works on 64bit Windows 10 out of the box with poor SW rendering, but applying the patch from the Guide section greatly improves the experience by enabling D3D or glide. On 64bit Windows 10, the Moto Racer 2…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wtf is this garbage?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →All games work great! Moto Racer 1 is still the best in my opinion. I'm having a blast and love the nostalgia feeling!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got this collection for the orginal Motoracer, I didn't even know it had any sequels until I saw this. I used to play the crap out of Motoracer and it's a total blast and nostagia trip for me. However this game runs like crap and clearly wasn't optimised to run on modern systems. There are some fixes in the forums though, if you like fiddling around with copying over files. Otherwise, don't get it here, gog.com has a better port. And as it turned out, the first two sequels were pretty…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →1 and 2 requires 16bit screen setting which I don't know how to fix. So in simple 1 and 2 dosent run. 3 runs but you wont be able to use any other controller than old ps2 type ones. Yeah xbox controller dosent work. 15th anniversary runs ok and has dirt bikes in it which is cool, just too old UI and game graphics, still I would love to play the ones that runs. So you can either get this game for collection like me and then buy the latest ones or just get it for old time memories. But only get…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sucks don't buy it version number one doesnt work waste of money if you purchase it should be able to play all of the versions.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nostalgia hits hard, love this game! Check out this guide to get your game to work properly: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=814853718 And enjoy!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Moto Racer Collection puts together Moto Racer, Moto Racer 2, Moto Racer 3 Gold Edition and Moto Racer 15th Anniversary. Well, we can say that Moto Racer was a major brand in the past and particulary that the first and second chapters are nearly the best of the arcade genre at their times. Even today, if you don't have problem with the old graphic, they are two exiting and very addictive games. The third chapter is not so good: but in the Gold Edition we have some fixes and the possibility to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The 1st and 2nd games don't work at all, the 3rd and 4th games don't work properly.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I cant play motoracer 1! RLLY?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This collection is a scam, move along.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →UPDATE 23/06/2015 ------------- I just checked the game, again. Moto Racer and Moto Racer 2 are fully working now. I'm running Windows 8 x64 Pro :) Moto Racer and Moto Racer 2 are the best ones from this collection. This collection is only suitable for collectors who know these games, it's not a remake or HD remaster ! These are the same old Windows 95/98 games. btw. there's still this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ .net game launcher ... why can't the developer who made this for steam add an icon for it ? It's…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a game I used to play non-stop with my dad about 25 years ago - hundreds of hours spent driving, competing for the best lap time. After all these years, he asked me if it was possible to find this game anywhere, and when I saw it on Steam, I bought it immediately. Unfortunately, it has optimization issues. After installation, it wouldn't even launch, and you have to mess around with settings just to get it running. In the end, I gave up and bought it on GOG, where it worked right out…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It was a great game in its time, but this is a bad port. It's a waste of money, unless you like fixing games after you bought them.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Moto Racer 1 and 2 use an old no-cd crack which locks the bike gears (in Moto Racer 2 is more noticeable than in Moto Racer 1). Moto Racer 3 has probably the same issue since I can't win a race and I remember when used to play it as teenager it wasn't that hard to win. I can't recommend this until there's a fix. Note: It says I have 0.2 hours in record but is because I could only launch Moto Racer 3 and the 15th anniversary from steam. In my laptop I had to run manually Moto Racer 1 and 2.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great games, but a not so great set up. If you have the time to fix a few issues in order to get the games working, I highly reccomend, because these are some of my favorite racing games ever since I was little, but only buy when it's on sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For being on this game for the first time for 2 hrs and something minutes, it must tell you something. If steam did not crash on me I probably would still be playing till I beat it. If you like games like moto racing this is one to try. I liked the fact it kept my mind going watching every detail and at the same time watching to acheive the goals to next level. It is a challenge as you get further into it. I just cannot get past the level with earthquakes atm, BUT I WILL. Gotta love this game,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's good to play the old game again. I must admit it took a bit of work to get all the games to work on my computer. I had to run compatibility mode for moto racer 1 and 2. Moto Racer 1 only works from the shortcut i made from the directory that it is in.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you've never heard of this game, you're best moving on. The first two probably won't work on your computer, and there are simply better racing games out there that you won't have to work a ton on to get working. The second two will probably work, but they're ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ games. I'm guessing you're here for nostalgia and you know exactly what you're getting. If that's the case, it's worth the price. Unfortunately there's a lot of fixing-up to do, but there are some good guides on the community…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Buy it on sale only for MotoRacer 1 & 2 (or 3 if you swing that way.) If you are looking specifically for MotoRacer or an old-school arcader racer; then go ahead and get it, but if you are looking for a good Motorbike game and have no clue what MotoRacer is; please look somewhere else. Most of the titles wont run properly without spending a few minutes to fix; You can check each game's respective pages in PCgamingwiki.com (Link in comments if you are feeling lazy). Alternatively you can take…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unless you are looking for nostalgia trip or want to see how games was 20 years ago don't touch it, it looks bad, it feels bad and it will probably be problematic to play it now
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Moto Racer 1 is a fantastic arcade racer that is easy to pick up and is still very playable today. 2 is more of the same but with procedurally generated scenery, this means that there are more tracks but they lack any real character. On the plus side you do get a reasonably versatile track editor which has it's quirks but can churn out tracks in very little time. The rest is garbage and honestly not worth worrying about. In terms of this specific release I've had nothing but problems with…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was very disappointing and I am warning you all to reconsider purchasing this. For the first Motoracer, when I played Solo Mode and tried to compete on the fourth race it stated that I had an "illegal version" of the game. And I was not able to continue competing, which means, I am not able to unlock the extra courses; however, you can easily enter a cheat code to negate this if you just want to race on them for fun. But, it's not as satisfying as winning the courses on your own. As for…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great arcade style racing games (Moto Racer 1 and 2) waaaaay ahead of their time. Brings back a lot of good memories with the W95 old Compaq computer that we had at the time. IF you can get them runing on todays hardware the games are still a blast to play. The reason for downvote though; Steam version is broken af, do yourself a favor and get them on GOG instead. Also don't even bother with the third and fourth games, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ abominations.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →EXTREMELY fun arcade racing game. Collection comes with 4 games. Considering how old the game truly is, the graphics aren't bad at all. Fun but challenging gameplay with exciting tracks that'll keep you wanting to play in an attempt to beat your previous times. Super fun and I recomend it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a scam to even try to sell this here. The cult classics - MR 1 and 2, don't even start - you cannot even get to the menu. It's a shame Steam allows this sort of thing on the store.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I want to like this game colection but no glide compatibility on moto 1 and moto 2, bad playstation and playstation 2 graphics make me not like it. Its and old and u cant expect much but the real copy from 1996 is better. That is complety inexcusable. we live in the modern world u can do so much better with the source code then that. Edit if you want a good moto racer games just go to gog.com. you can use international prepaid cards. i use a prepaid master card. don't buy this game at all
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Use the 'Moto Racer Time Fix' post on Steam to make the platform count your play time, so you can then write a review on how meh this collection is. Just like I did now! The first one was fun for a few minutes though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The earth is 4.6 billion years old and we managed to exist at the same time as this masterpiece.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i use to love MOTO RACER its the first game i ever play but its totally broken on steam (using windows 10 with ryzen cpu with gtx 1080) i bought for nostalgia but cant run any of the moto racer ill ask for refund and try the GOG version instead
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Needs full controller support pronto!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A good collection of three games plus a remake. Personally, my favorite one is the second game. If you like racing and moto games, then I do not see why you would not like this game. Those are arcade games so they are pretty easy but it's still very fun. 8/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I buy this game only for MOTO RACER 1 but it doesnt work, other games usefull for me. I probably say DON'T BUY THIS GAME. Bu oyunu sadece moto racer 1 için aldım o da çalışmadı, diğerleri 5 kuruş etmiyor zaten. Boşu boşuna 3 tl gitti. Kesinlikle almayın aldırmayın.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →MR 2 and 3 both generally work on my system (no sound problems or obvious glitches) but: MR 2 - XBox 360 controller works good for me, but it's impossible to catch up with the leading few Easy AI riders (at least on a dirt bike). I re-raced the track like 10 times, eventually well enough to compete with what should be Hard mode, and I still couldn't place higher than 5th in the race. The others were gone from the start, never to be seen again, as if their bikes are faster than the player's and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great games. Such a shame they didn't add achievements at least, given they are warts and all ports.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Childhood nostalgia.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TLDR Racing on a motorcycle but in the 90s Gameplay As the title and screenshots suggest, you drive a motorcycle and race with it. Story No story here Graphics Moto Racer 1 looks pretty good for a 90s game, I can't say the same for 3 and 4 though. But trust me that everyone could run atleast Moto Racer 1. Sound 90s goodness, nothing spectacular but it fits My opinion I didn't play a lot, but that's because the game doesn't feel very polished, neither does it keep my interest. I…
