38 of 38 · most liked firstI forget where I bought the disc for this, but for whatever reason I remember that it actually ran on my (old) laptop. Surprisingly, it was a fun game. I wasn't really expecting a need for speed - esque game with some cool and detailed customization, but there it was. The map was pretty nice too, if a bit linear by design. Unfortunately... Definitely don't buy it. Nothing about this game works properly and it can't be fixed. And nobody capable of fixing the problem cares enough about it's…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →well, for some reason, this game works for me on my AMD FX 8320 and my dying HD 7850. As for the game. You need to set all .exe files (yes this game has like 5 .exe files) to win 98 comp mode WITHOUT admin rights.I don't know how that works, but if you set it to run with admin rights, same crashes too. It's a pain to run on modern systems, but if you get it working, you have quite good racing game.Alot of bugs, for sure.On modern system sometimes the road starts to fade away, but can be fixed with…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I tried various fixes but the game simply crashes everytime I try to start the game. Luckily, by the looks of the reviews it's not a big loss and I can safely put this game into the 'hidden games' on Steam.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game don't work on any of m PCs. I've tried on vista, win7 and win8, and it don't work on any off them. How old is this game? As it requires a 15 year old OS, maybe is it time to remove it from store and game bundles???
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cons: ❌ Horrible physics and handling. Absolutely trash game :D ❌ Customization parts look like they were designed by a five year old. ❌ Horrible story and cringe cutscenes.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Does not work on Windows 10, tried all kinds of compatibility settings but it won't start. I hope someone can come up with a solution to play this on Windows 10.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it works on my mothers ♥♥♥♥♥♥ pc this game has the most extreme bodykits i have ever seen no joke. if you want to play it just emulate RPM tuning and done, same game with a ♥♥♥♥ soundtrack, just that it actually starts up. i did get this game to run on my modern pc, but cant fix the resoloution sadly, just set every exe to win98 compatibily mode and done. otherwise a solid game with a decent story. i give it a 6.5/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game doesn't even start up. It's just error and crash constantly. Avoid this game, it's total crap.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game has this glitch where the road doesn't seem to load -- you can see on the radar where the road is supposed to be, but the game never seem to 'draw' it. I bought this game in a pack of old, abandonware type games, and wish now I had saved my money for games that still had a community and were ported/maintained better.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it feels unfinished
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think this is a racing game. Or a game about clock theives.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Anti-Recommendation: Doesn't run on Vista. You've been warned.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is my review of this game titled: Midnight Outlaw 6 Hours To Sunup. Ok I want to start off by saying that I indeed bought this game on steam and when proceeded to download and install and launched I was quite surprised to find out that another game similar to this is named - Top Gear RPM Tuning and is exactly the same game. Now both games have issues working proper on modern day windows/systems (beware people) and mind the other reviews on here about this one because whatever issues it…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →very very poor, don't even get if 90% off
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I didn't play this game much, and that's partly becuase it feels really low budget-and not in a good way. It doesn't keep your attention that much.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Update 2 Game is better than i thought, reason: works better with older GPU driver. Max res 1280 x 1024, overall bloom enabled but NOS bloom disabled in order to avoid the extreme screen flashes. Also the road distance draw bug no longer present with old driver. No longer do i need to use NOS just to see the road ahead. TL;DR Better then NFS Underground & Underground 2 in physics (crashing into walls or other objects slow you down or stop you instead of bouncing you) and cutscenes which are…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Another mid-2000s street racing game. Although its physics aren't the best the game isn't bad, but can be seen as medicore.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Probably the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game ever.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Midnight Outlaw: 6 Hours to Sun Up, developed by Merscom and Babylon and published by Cosmi Valusoft, stands as a clear product of its time—born during the height of early-2000s street-racing enthusiasm, when neon-lit drag races, swaggering underground crews, and nitrous-fueled highway duels dominated gaming culture. Though now available on Steam, the game very much reflects its mid-2000s budget PC roots, presenting a dramatic, cinematic framing of illegal nighttime racing condensed into a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ok I know this game is bad but I still wanted to try it because I am bored and being $5 wasn't too bad, but I had issues running the game on W10 which is fair enough games like these tends to have issues so I made a Windows XP VM and installed one core API to install Steam on XP to try to run it with no result I tried installing it from the game ISO which kept crashing during installation and I just had a thought hey why not try it on the Steam Deck...which it works very well besides the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It worked immediately on my system (Ryzen 5 2600, RX 570, 16gb, Win10), but you still shouldn't buy it, because it's a really bad game for 5 euros. And the freeride fog makes this game impossible to play.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Do u know NFS and Midnight club *shakes head yes* Well try this * hands a copy of Midnight Outlaw: 6 Hours to SunUp* *starts to play it* "This is a clone but it's fine for 2005 so ill give it a thumbs up because at least it's not big rigs" :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wow what a ♥♥♥♥ game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Oh the old days...
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →★★★☆☆ Good! Racing The "RPM Tuning" (original name of the game) refers to the game's main draw, which is the ability to customize your cars like crazy. Each car can be tweaked mechanically and aesthetically with all sorts of body kits, wheels, engines, exhaust systems, and such, all of which can be bought and placed on your car. The actual racing doesn't do much to salvage the game. The one thing you can't complain about are the controls, which handle reasonably well. There are some issues…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game does not work on Windows 10, unless you download a sketchy third party .exe fix. No thanks. 0/10
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Can't even get the game to run well. Don't waste your time with this game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Midnight Outlaw is an older racing game from 2005. Unfortunately the developer has not maintained the game and it does not launch under modern versions of Windows. I can't recommend games which don't work, especially not for $10.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Doesn't even run, crashes before it even starts.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →By today's standards, the game is crap - there's no doubt about it. However, back when it came out, it was a good, budget-friendly alternative to NFS Underground. RPM Tuning / Midnight Outlaw: 6 Hours to SunUp offers extensive options for customizing and tuning cars. The driving physics can be erratic, but they’re also challenging and force you to take corners properly to avoid skidding. The music effectively encourages dynamic driving, and the storyline - though not particularly complex - has…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game gave me the impression of driving while being druged drunk and all other tipe of ♥♥♥♥ like this Ps: this game is awesome buY it now on the Gay baby machine (ps3)
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game came in a bundle if I remember and seems very old but from my play through isn't all bad. It reminds me of a lot of Need for Speed kinda gameplay set in the creators version of LA. The protagonist sets out to find his stolen car and so a story pursues. Very old graphics which makes me think this came out around the time Need for Speed Hot Pursuit came out as most racing games no longer have a story. Sadly due to the fact I was having to drive with a keyboard my hand started to cramp so…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm throwing in the towel on this one because I usually don't uninstall games until I'm completed with them but after a day of tinkering it doesn't function. You can get to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ gameplay but cutscenes crash the game. When I was playing the game the games engine cannot load anywhere near fast enough for a racing game and for some reason the game world fades out into mist periodically
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Doesnt even run. Total piece of ♥♥♥♥. How did I get over 6 hours on this?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game is cheesy but fun i had to change all its exe files to win 98 compatability mode to run it but its a fun game. graphics are dated video scenes are the ultimate cheese but the racing is fun
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Should I get it for the Xbox if I refund it?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tried to install on laptop, only shows left half of startup no matter what resolution I set it at. Set it to windowed mode and it refuses to work at all. So apparently I can't even play it. Guess it's a good thing it was part of a pack I brought for something else.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tags: Driving & Racing Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Broken. Game fails to install an outdated direct x version. Then fullscreens incorrectly with most of the screen off the bounds of the screen, no matter which resolution is chosen and crashes to desktop with a laggy mouse cursor.
