They battle the covenant a religious alien alliance and accidentally release the Flood, a parasit #pixelart

unlabelledView post →This has been a horrible trend recently. Doom: Dark Ages team? Released an amazing full-game-length expansion. Most of them laid off. The Moss team? Release a non-VR version. Immediately shut down. Crisol's developers? Dead after release. And word is the Gears Of War team is holding their breath now

unlabelledView post →I fell in love with both of the VR versions, and I'm happy that folks have a platform to play this cute adventure on without a VR Headset. Quill is a huge comfort character of mine :) Help make Moss Book III happen! In terms of controls, the transition is pretty darn seamless and intuitive. The camera is also good! I had worries about when this was initially announced how the camera would be adapted, but I think it's pretty darn good. So far I definitely think that the VR version is the ideal…

This summer was really tough and incredibly lonely for me. The days just felt endless, and everything felt a bit too heavy. But opening this game on my laptop, under the warm glow of the fairy lights in my room, changed the whole mood. I met Quill, and honestly, I didn't feel so alone anymore. It is amazing how natural Moss: The Forgotten Relic feels on a regular screen. You just…

unlabelledView post →Moss is a bright spot in the VR game catalog. And Quill, its brave mouse hero, is such an endearing character.
unlabelledView post →I am playing this on a PC and know it was originally made for VR. I really wanted to give this game a good review but... I just couldn't. The art is absolutely gorgeous, the narration is stellar and the music is stunningly beautiful as well - all leading to a wonderfully fairytale-like feeling but - dammit! The incomprehensibly horrible camera made this game impossible for me to finish. The often completely-fixed camera is extremely buggy (sometimes getting stuck in a zoomed-in position making…

As the first boss in the game, Moss Mother is arguably easiest; though fighting two of them at the same time later on can be a bit challenging. #HollowKnight #Silksong

unlabelledView post →The mousiest mouse, that ever moused! :3 10/10-IGN Okay for real. Overall a decent game. Not great, but 7, or maybe an 8/10. For the price, it's worth it. It looks good in its own style and runs well. The story leaves some bits to be desired imho though. It is a typical fairy-tale, but nothing much more. It's EXTREMELY CUTE though oh my god. You can even pet the mousie :3 The biggest issue are the controls. For the love of god: DO! NOT! PLAY! THIS! GAME! WITH! A! KEYBOARD! It is pure…

unlabelledView post →oh my god the Moss 2D demo is so cute I'm so sorry I never bought your game when it was in VR Moss devs. I really wanted to it was in my wishlist forever 😭
unlabelledView post →It's one of those games that has a very lovable main character, an acceptable (although overloaded) story, and overall terrible platforming mechanics. I'd say it's still worth the full price, to support the studio, but if they spent the same amount of time researching user experience than main character development, this would be a well rounded game, instead of a tilted one. These kind of platforming games are always a hit or miss, and they depend on two things: - Camera angle for tight…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm finally starting to put some sound design and proper music in Children of Moss and its actually crazy how much sound can change the way a game looks and even enhance the way it looks. I'm really excited to share this when its ready.
unlabelledView post →Apparently the green portal is missable content? The game makes it sound like it's the main path, encouraging you to go elsewhere first and hence locking you out of experiencing the full game. Not allowing the player to go back (before getting on the raft) is an insane design choice.

Had run game answers vs Shanahan; could count the good passing plays on one hand. Then Surtain/Moss go out and SF get a screen to pop in the final 3 minutes and it's gg
unlabelledView post →I'm reluctantly giving this game up an hour or two into Book Two. The art is beyond gorgeous, but in almost every other aspect of this game's design there are absolutely gaping inadequacies ultimately leading to the worst kinds of friction, friction that serves no aesthetic-gameplay purpose. The combat is clunky and slow. There are three, maybe four, enemy types in the ENTIRE game. And so for a game with such utterly lacking combat mechanics it is just flat out bizarre that they felt the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I would describe this game as an audio-visual book with interaction. You control a character like any game, except it is very linear and narration bound, no freedom of exploration. Note that it is exactly the same game as the VR only released some years ago, no change. The story is extremely rich and kind of remind me of Brian Jacques' Redwall stories, which were extremely rich themselves. A bad point would be about settings in general, although it is now for PC, the settings are…

unlabelledView post →I loved Moss. I found Quill to be such a touching character, and I enjoyed the way the story is told through books. It gave me a nostalgic feeling, almost like going back to childhood and having someone read you a story. It’s a style of storytelling I hadn’t experienced in a game before, and I thought it worked beautifully. I also loved that Quill is aware of you and communicates through sign language. You’re not just controlling her, you feel like you’re accompanying her on her journey.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →been following this game for a while and it does not disappoint, the puzzles are challenging but not too difficult which is perfect for someone like me who gets frustrated easily hehe. so happy to finally experience this world with Quill and friends!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Broncos CB Riley Moss left the Week 2 preseason game with a rib injury. Asked how Moss is doing after the game, coach Sean Payton said, "Good. We'll see."
unlabelledView post →It happens to be enjoyable because of narration and the atmosphere. Sometimes it is very difficult to control the objects depending on the angle that is given. Some platforming is tedious because of how slow the climbing is.

unlabelledView post →I wanted to wait until I actually finish the game to give a review, as to see if the game only started off strong, but falls flat towards the end. I am happy to say that it sure isn't. Story-wise, you follow Quill, a little (might I add very adorable) mouse that just so happens to stumble upon a piece of Glass. You follow Quill through all the pleasures and trouble said piece of Glass has in store for this little, brave, fluffy girl. But don't be mistaken, you are more than the player in this…
