60 of 189 · most liked firstI bought this game in a sale for 3,99€ and i really enjoyed my time playing the game. If you are uncertain if you should buy this game, I hope my review can help you decide. Story The story is quite interesting for the beginning at least, after that it kinda lost its way by repeating stuff and too much forced exposition. Gameplay You have 30 to 40 cards in your deck and start with 5 or 6 cards in your hand each match depending on if you start first or second. Each round you get 3 Mana…

For a card game to have an additional online store is probably not uncommon, but it is something that leaves a bad taste in one's mouth after one has already had to pay to buy the game in the first place. I very much disapprove of such behaviour in a game company. If this game were free to play that might make more sense. Another thing I have issue with is the card power up system "Rub", in which you spend farmed/grinded points to activate, but sometimes…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is not an ordinary card game, this is an advanced card game. Monster Monpiece, build your own monster girl's army and build your own harem to obtain 'The King of Harem' title (just kidding, I mean to beat the game). +Interesting gameplay. You need a tactic to win some battle. You must consider your card class, type, color, skill, status, and even the battle area. So, think about your deck again. +Good graphic and soundtrack. +There is a NEP card in the game !!! +6 Steam Trading Cards are…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Look.. elsewhere for a grind. This used to be multiplayer, now it's not. Guess what remained? The ability to buy card decks in an in game store with real money. Overall Review: DEATH BY SINGLEPLAYER MICRO-TRANSACTIONS... Absolutely not.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Best card game i have ever played so far, not that i played many card games tough. But the way of how to play it was very intresting and new to me. Pro's: -Great gameplay -Many different cards that can also be upgraded -Good Sound Track -Intresting story with nice plot twists in it and some good comedy Con's: -No Multi-player Also dont listen to those horrible reviews about online in app purchases, because you dont need those cards to complete the game and after you complete the story you…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At a Glance (Adult) Content No. Censorship? Creative censorship. Hours of Gameplay Twenty-five hours. Modding Support? No. Patch Available? No, not necessary. Monster Monpiece is a deckbuilding game about saving the world from descending into chaos (again). Gameplay Build a deck and defeat foes in turn based, strategic combat! You must build a deck of at least…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Monster rubs Intro I'm a big TCG/CCG fan but I'll have to rate this game as barely neutral and you'll see why. So the story is nothing special. I managed to clear more than half of the areas so I came near to the end I believe however I can't bother to go onward.Gamepaly becomes so tedius, boring and repetitive. The game deicdes at one point to ramp difficulty up and it gets harder and way more grindy from that point onward. Cards,Art and rubs Card art is weird as it varies a lot. In some…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played this game all the way through and put a lot of time into it. While I did get enjoyment out of it, there's a few caveats that avoid an actual recommendation. Keep in mind that while this is a PC port of a PS Vita game, I'm going to view this from the perspective of a PC game because that's what's asking twenty bucks out of you. 1. The difficulty curve is really strange. There were only three places, really, where I was forced to level up, get in-game packs, and build or revise a deck.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Everything about this game is tedious. - Early game is tedious because currency earnings are slow. - Upgrading a card is also tedious. Would've been better to have a quick upgrade system for cards you've already upgraded. - Late game is tedious because the AI is a boring opponent. - Even the clear rewards are tedious because there's no quick way to open so many card packs
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A lot of negatives are given simply due to there being an in-game online micro transaction store built-in. I'm more concerned about how the game feels poor in several areas -and we are missing cards that are in the JP version (not simply due to artwork contraversey, just not accessable at all). The ideas are pretty damn cool mechanically, but the inabaility to play vs humans even via local-lan or shared-screen dual-controller is a surprising oversight. Let's not overlook the partial…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unfortunately like pretty much every game this company makes, it seems at first like it could have pretty decent gameplay, fun characters, a good story, some nice gimmicks...but then it peters out pretty quickly as you realize none of these are going to be expanded upon.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What started off really promising took a nosedive to the point where I just cannot recommend this game. Perhaps it was okay on the Vita, but we'll get to why in a moment. First of all, the good thing, the one thing that might save the game: the combat. It's actually fun, and a well put-together mechanic with enough strategy elements in it to make putting effort into building and tweaking your decks worthwhile. That's...really all the game has going for it. Let me put this bluntly. The…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →+Nice card game +Nice card art +Stripping card -In battle, every class has a default character -Boring after a bit 6/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute and fun. And don't you believe the top review. It's just wrong. There's an online shop, yes. But you can get every single card in the game without spending a dime by purchasing it with in-game currency. Totally worth the price.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TLDR: Maybe on sale. I got it for like $3 or something, and that was a little cheap for 20 hours of gameplay. I'd say $5 or so, since the gameplay gets pretty boring and samey after a bit. First 13 hours were great. After that, it started to become kind of repetitive. I stopped checking the bonus areas and going straight for the end route because I didn't need any stronger cards and I didn't want to waste another 5-15 minutes on a pointless battle that would give me nothing I needed. The…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After completing Monster Monpiece, the phrases I would use to describe it are: -Too Easy -Too Much Repetition I like the design of the card battle game but it seemed like I had to fight way too many opponents that had practically the same deck in the last two-thirds of the game. I was fighting way more opponents than I needed to fight to get enough cards to win and eventually I just started going straight to the end battle and skipping all the side branches because I couldn't wait for it to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Monster Monpiece can best be described as wasted potential. While the premise and story line are nothing new to the genre, there were a lot of interesting mechanics that could have been useful if properly implemented. Alas, most of their mechanics run in opposition of each other and take what coud be a fun and varied game experiance with a multitude of decks and turn it into a booring grind with little payoff. One of the key mechanics of the game is creating chains of cards of the same aura…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was going to write a serious review about the different aspects of the card game and how it's balanced, but then I remembered that it's basically an h-game. I spent 30 hours on an h-game with a ccg attached to it. Thinking back, it didn't even register to me how perverted the rubbing minigame was. For the 50+ times that I did it. I am a strange man.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a collectible card battle game set in the same series as the lewd dungeon crawler Moero Chronicle so it shares the same massage minigame and familiar series NPCs such as Otton the seal and plenty of monster girls, though the artwork isn't as well-drawn as in Moero Chronicle. Firstly, the fanservice in this game is almost completely non-existent. There is no nudity or sexual references at all. The sexiest thing you're gonna see in is the First Crush Rub minigame (similar to Bumping…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'd say this is a pretty good waifu card game. You basically summon monster girls with cards that move down lanes to attack the enemy. Each of the cards have different effects and classes which makes deck building fun. If you were interested in the Crush Rub system then I'd say its k. It is often on sale somewhere for like $2, so try to look for that. Cons: The story was boring with generic anime girl dialogue. The music is also generic. The good cards are unlocked at the end of the game.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like this game because of nice art, story and gameplay. However, it still misses some things, so I can't recommend: - only single-player (I wonder why they didn't make multi-players) - in-game purchases this should absolutely not have when only single-player They should have to add at least multiplay feature to make this game better.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So this is a rather interesting JRPG/Card game hybrid. While the gameplay itself is amusing and fun... there is at least one area where it could be a bit... risque... See, in order to level up the cards in certain spots... you have to give them rubs... Kind of like getting a cat to like you... Except these are all Monster Girls, so the rubbing spots almost always include a couple... important areas... Anyway, this game is fun, and I would recommend it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Kudos to the developers for brining the full version to Steam without any of the censorship that plagued the Vita version. The game is everything you'd expect from Compile Heart storywise. It is silly and lighthearted. The card gameplay is surprisingly deep and highly addictive. I'd recommend this to anyone who'd like a Magic the Gathering type of card game with a JRPG look and feel.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good strategy game. Nice story. Bad menus (I didn't find a way to see all my cards, including quantity, across all decks, so sometimes I it took some unecessary time to see if I hadn't upgrade a card), openning packs take too long when you buy a lot of them. The sexual part, the minigame to upgrade the cards, is really boring. Overall, the gameplay and the story is worth it.

Good: + good port on pc (no crashes, no stuttering) + music was nice + characters were voiced beautifully in japanese + you get to know the chars + interesting gameplay with cards and chibi display (i usually hate this kind of game, but gave it a try) + easy story + some interesting challenge fights + nice illustrations + lol my right arm hurts from button smashing... + good localisation i must say, translation was a lot better then expected + omg so much…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The idea of combining both the visual novel story with card battle is good but however after playing it awhile you would get bored easily as ypu are just keep replaying the same old things and if you want to get better cards or earn more money etc... ypu need grind hard man and not only that that ai is pretty weak. The soldier or whatever you called it on the board look like ♥♥♥♥ donk even can represent the waifu drawn on the card.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like this game, it is fun and cheerful. I got this on a bundlestars sale, i knew it was a card game but i wasn't expecting much, that was until i played this game. I get to build my own card decks without restriction, upgrade my cards and collect all kinds of new cards. I shall be playing this game alot because i like it.

Exception to this is the post-game boss which…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →decent card game, but the rub system is unbelieveably tedious and the game has stupid ai. just look up the cards if you want to perv out, this game isn't worth it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →To start off, this game is very lewd, if the whole rubbing mechanic didn't set it off for you ;) The story is a interesting one with monster girls, though the lack of men in this world often left me wondering exactly how procreation even works in this world. Especially considering that one of them does mention that she has a father who is often a very important diplomat, but we NEVER see any men in this. I guess the creators are so straight and hetro that they don't even want to draw the male…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Monster girls are cute. For those who bought the DLC, don't forget to find the Digital Art Gallery in steam folder. Major characters have distinct personalities. However the story is kind of illogical. Music is good, at least to me. Battle is simple, but might be too simple for a card game. All steam achievements require no in-game purchased content. Some cards can only be obtained from in-game purchased card packs, and two cards (273-275 Thor and 315 Fear) are not even released in Windows…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a fun time-killer that runs well on just about any system, and it's quite easy for a card game (more on this below), but isn’t without its fair share of quirks and flaws. Worth getting on a sale for $3 or less. The positives: - Simple and straightforward to learn and play, with just enough depth to require some strategy. - Excellent variety of cards and artwork – there’s something for everyone. - Little to no grinding required to beat the game. You can collect and buy more than enough…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →When I realized that this was a game by Compile Heart, I instantly lowered my expectations. Having played Agarest before, I knew about what to expect and was not disappointed in that regard. It wasn't a bad experience, but just don't expect too much. Buy it on discount and keep in mind what you're here for. Hint: It's not the story. + a decent amount of fanservice. Especially the voice acting. Some of the endgame art on the card packs is also quite exciting. ~ story is average at best. Not…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Once upon a time I played Magic. Not competitively, but well enough that I occasionally placed in tournaments. So deck building is important to me. Deck building has almost no functional support in this game. The card library is a mess, even WITH all the sorting options. There's no convenient way (without clicking through several menus) to see what cards have skills associated, and what those skills are. As well, the short-hand used to describe skill effects isn't ever explained and one has…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It has pretty girl pictures but the story is very lacking(not big shock) and there is large amounts of grinding to unlock stuff and find the best cards. This game also promotes you to pay more money to get stuff in game. I did not finish this game, I was not going to grind that amount of time or spend any more money(other than purchase price).
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →+Good • Unique card system that is very fun to play with • VN aspects of the game is good (Art and voice acting). The dialogues and the dynamics between the characters in the story is really well done. • Various card combinations and play styles depending on the deck; the PS and + system ensures that you have plenty of cards to choose from. • Almost all of the monmusu girls are very cute and they cater to many different tastes from lolis to milfs. • The 3-D models are really cute…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well I have no life. I've now 100% this game twice now. Once on VIta and once now. This game is a major timesink and there is little to no substance to it. It looks deep and could be quiet scary at first until you realize that there are two little secrets that the game itself doesn't use for the most part. Low level stuff from the Red and Yellow auras dominate this game every time. They can cost nothing and quickly become a massive swarm that the AI can't seem to deal with. Also you ignore most…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good CCG type game, with an interesting and rather tactical fighting system, not you must assemble the best deck you can to suit your playing style, but you've got to optimize it while playing whatever cards you've got at a given moment to fight. Cute monster girls, sexy erotica scenes and actions on the side, good tactical gameplay, interesting card game. There is just card battles and erotica 'girl rubbing' assembled with a minimal story, it does just that, but it's good at what it does.…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I actualy did enjoy the gameplay for the most part (final chapters are packed with very repetitive and boring fights though). Unfortunately then, I realised that the only way to collect all the cards is to spend outrageous ammounts of real money in cash shop, and its not like you are even buying power as the multiplayer is disabled on the PC...

That's a bit of a mouthful though, so we'll shorten it to "unless you really like card games and monster girls, you can skip this one." Alright, that wasn't much better, but my point is this game drags on for way too long for how little depth there is to it. After the first few battles you have basically mastered the game, from there the only…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing card game. The game is pretty easy until you fight the first big bad. My only complaint is that there aren't a lot of effect monsters to make alternative strats (i.e. "make a giant beat-stick via fusion or dlc cards"). As for the dlc packs.....YOU DO NOT NEED TO BUY CARD PACKS. The dlc card packs contain super broken monsters which make the game way too easy. If you've played a neptunia game, these packs are akin to the dlc armor and weapons in those games.
