60 of 169 · most liked firstMighty Switch Force! stands alongside the Shantae series as one of WayForward's greatest accomplishments. The gameplay of MSF is a mix of puzzler and action platformer, and the two blend very well; some levels require critical thought, others require split-second reaction, and beating the developer par times will require both. Controls are tight and responsive, and you never feel cheated when you die. The visuals have been drastically overhauled from the 3DS version, with hand-drawn animation…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mighty Switch Force! is a great little title, first appearing on the 3DS. It's a fun little puzzle platformer. You play as a 'sexy cop' to stop all the 'sexy criminals' in a timely matter! The music was made by Jake "VIRT" Kaufman. Who is amazing. He did the OST to Shovel Knight. Gameplay is a lot of fun, and the music is great. It makes you use your brain if you really want to get the 'par' times on all the stages. 10/10 would buy again. Hopefully the sequel will come to steam too!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Release Mighty Switch Force 2 on steam so I can rate her thighs with another 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →WARNING: Do NOT buy this version of Mighty Switch Force: Hyper Drive Edition! The collection includes: - Mighty Switch Force: Hyper Drive Edition (i.e. this game) - The original Mighty Switch Force in pixel-art style - Mighty Switch Force 2 (also in pixel-art style) - And Mighty Switch Force Academy You can get the collection here:…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm only 12 levels through the game at this point, but already I'm enjoying it immensely. This is what a platformer should feel like! The graphics are awesome, and the controls are super responsive. There's no music, other than the loading screens, but the sound effects in-game are, for the most part, absolutely appropriate. I do feel like the use of the word, "yummy" is overdone and somewhat awkward, but that feels a bit nit-picky at this point. There are quick-switch mechanics in this…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm not going to lie, Mighty Switch Force and its sequel were the reason I purchased a Nintendo 3DS and it's a decision I am glad I went with. You play as Patricia Wagon who is on the pursuit to repromand the Hooligan Sisters in a 2D puzzle platformer. MSF gameplay involves switiching blocks from transparency to be used as platforms, defeat enemies and traverse the stages to re-arrest the Hooligans. It's a simple mechanic that is all done with the press of a button but as you progress the…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Upon hearing about this game's port to Steam on Wayforward's website, I was ecstatic. Checking the Steam store everyday in hopes to see it. And the day has finally arrived! I'm a fan of Wayforward's Shantae series so I was eager to jump into their other games. Story In Mighty Switch force, you play as the aptly named Patricia Wagon after what appears to be a prison transport vehicle crashes and releases all of these blonde female prisoners in short shorts, miniskirts, and low cut dresses. And…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mighty Switch Force? More like Mighty THIGH Force! Juicy thick thighs aside, very solid game with only 16 levels of platforming and puzzling, it may be only 16, but those 16 levels will keep you busy for a while if you are one of them compeltionst types, trying to get those last tedious achievements. Graphics are also very pleasing to look at, like VERY pleasing with many colors, different backgrounds, enemies and characters with fluid animations. Speaking of the characters, Practica Wagon…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mighty Switch Force is hybrid platformer between puzzle and action side scrolling. You play as Patricia Wagon who has to capture 5 escaped Hooligan Sisters and reunite with Corporal Gendarmor (one eyed robot) to clear the stage. +Really good port from 3ds with HD graphic +Puzzle part is really fun and creative +Plantformer part is not as hard as Super Meat Boy or They Bleed Pixel but still challenging. Therefore you don't need to have hardcore platforming skill to enjoy this game. +Good…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Personal rating: 9/10 What to expect from Mighty Switch Force! Hyper Drive Edition From the same people who brought Shantae and DuckTales Remastered among other great platforming titles we have Mighty Switch Force! Hyper Drive Edition. If you are familiar with any of previous titles that should tell that you are in for a good platforming experience. Mighty Switch Force! Hyper Drive Edition is a puzzle platformer with some action elements. While killing enemies is a big part on the game, it…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is extremely well done. Very good cartoony graphics, amazing soundtrack and excellent level designs. The only downside would be that it's kinda short. If they would release more levels as free (or paid) DLC, the game would be amazing. I would recommend this to any fan of platformer games.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →From the creative minds responsible for the Shantae series comes this wonderfully confusing action-puzzle game. The artwork, world, and character designs are iconically Way Forward; everything is adorable and dances along with the background music in their idle pose. Mighty Switch Force takes place in an almost cyber-punk setting reminescient of Robocop crossed with Rockman. Somehow, the backdrop of city lights and towering buildings does little to detract from the overall charm of the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun puzzle/platformer with nice aesthetics and music. MSF has 16 regular and 5 bonus stages, plus unlockable remixed versions of levels after you clear all the regular and bonus stages. Game handles well and the controls are simple. You can jump, shoot, switch and that's it. You're always at max speed so there's no need to hold a button to run, which is always a plus. Art is nice and clean and the soundtrack by Jake Kaufman is up-tempo and catchy. Gameplay-wise, there's no fat. No…

Hyper Drive Edition is an HD remake of the original version, developed by WayForward Technologies, that was released for the 3DS on Nintendo's eShop back in December of 2011, Originally, the Hyper Drive Edition was released on the Wii U 2012 before finally being released on Steam in June of 2015. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Target Audience: Puzzle Platformer Fans Summary: Wayforward is one of those companies that impress me with pretty much everything they put out lately, and this is no exception. The solid gameplay and fantastic level design and progression is the star here, as the reuse of elements and mix of them up makes every level feel new and interesting. The HD upgrade is definitely appreciated for this 3DS port, and the game runs fantastically on pretty much all levels, and I love the animation…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game feel like a mix of megaman, bomberman and puzzle game.... Oldschool inovative gameplay. Worth every penny A must buy
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really a beautiful game, a little on the short side but the new graphics for the HD remake is a plus maybe a little expensive for some but if you have some spare change I really recomend the game, also it runs on toasters.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you have never played a game by Wayforward, I highly suggest you do. They've been in the industry for a long time and have a tendency to make absolute gems. Mighty Switch Switch Force is no exception to this with a fine mix of puzzle and platforming elements.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game saved me from ♥♥♥♥♥♥ "normie" MOBAs and competitive Chernobyl This game, this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game, threw me back to the good old singleplayer arcade-ish games so much when i found it in mid 2014, i found this majestic soundtrack, which had multiple melodic lines and amazing coordinated tunes which reminded me of retro so much i couldn't not look the game up. The game was also retro, puzzle platformer. Amazing. Good shet. I looked at it on the 3ds EShop Guess what, it was an anniversary…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wouldnt expect any less from WayForward. The game is a remake to the 3ds version of the game. However, This is hands down the definitive version of the game, With all the level along with remixed versions, and an HD Overhaul that looks amazing. Buy this game its well worth it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A puzzle-platformer title made by WayForward and originally for the 3DS, Mighty Switch Force focuses on precision "block-switching" to phase blocks in and out of the level, blasting baddies, and rounding up all the rowdy Hooligan Sisters that have escaped from jail. The HD version for Steam/Wii U offers upgraded sprites for all of the game's levels, including the DLC. Simple, fast, and downright cute. A must-have for any fan of indie puzzle-platformers or WayForward, albeit being somewhat…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was expecting a story and dialogue. First and foremost, Mighty Switch Force is a puzzle/platforming game with a focus on fast gameplay and I respect that. It's good gameplay, and I have no complaints about it. But it kind of took me by surprise that there are pretty much no cutscenes and story, and zero character development. It's just stage after stage. Be warned, this game isn't exactly Shantae-of-the-future.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →by playing 1.4 hours of this game I have nearly finished it. It is a fun little puzzle platformer where you have to collect 5 criminals who have escaped to clear a level. At first the puzzles can be alittle confusing but it does not take much effort to solve them. the game has a switch mode where you have to switch some blocks in order to progress which they use pretty good, they could have elaborated that more because right now the game feels kind of rushed, especially considering how short it…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Launched after new update, AVAST VIRUS DATABASE HAS DETECTED A MALWARE, ignored avast played anyways and had game eat my windows install. 10/10 would give to worst enemy.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →WayForward's best work is when they're working with their own IPs, and the Mighty games certainly show it. Mighty Switch Force is a solid (if short) time attack platformer that is well worth the price of admission.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →T H I C C. Makes my head hurt trying to think. It's a puzzle game after all.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've bought this because minus8 practically recommended it, but I'm kinda dissapointed in this game. Later in the game the stages become way too long and provide you with HP exactly when you don't need it, forcing you to restart very long stages over and over again. I mean, I played They Bleed Pixels, and that's a pretty hard game, but at least the checkpoints there mean something, unlike here, where you get to use them twice until you have to fully restart the entire level, no matter your…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is the best puzzle-platformer I've played in years! In this game, WayForward, best known for the outstanding Shantae series, showcases their mastery of level design with a whopping 42 stages of hectic block-switching action. By my standards, puzzle-platformers fail if they're too plodding, or if their signature mechanics are too one-dimensional. Mighty Switch Force!, though, hits all the right notes with smoothly flowing stages that are meant to be played fast, and with the continual…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There's plenty to like about this game: the animation, the music, etc. The gameplay is novel, and the game explores its core gameplay mechanic pretty thoroughly. Some of the levels are extremely unfun. If you want to switch when a flying object is on a certain square, which is required a lot, the timing is pretty tight and hard to hit.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →delicious gameplay delicious music delicious thighs thighs/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's like being in a prison full of hot anime grills and had some rockin' synth jams playing. WayForward can have all of my money.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cannot recommend this game enough, with this being my thrid time purchasing the game I cant confidently say take my word for it! The game consists of a smashing OST created by a musical god! challenging puzzle gameplay that requires thought but at the same time not being hard to approach, this Hyperdrive edition contains the bonus DLC that was free on the 3DS as well as extra Hyper stages! So what are you waiting for? Buy the game and held the sexy cyber police woman Patrica Wagon stop them…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →MIGHTY SWITCH FORCE! umm... ah, yes, HYPER DRIVE EDITION! I originally found out about this game because of listening to its soundtrack. Somewhere in the world, on 21st of November 2018, I bought this game and started my adventure. After getting all of the achievements and a good amount of playtime, I decided to write a review on this game. So, let's actually start then! I'll write some pros/cons first, while the more detailed explanations will be put below that. Pros: Energetic and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is certainly not my type of game so don't take this review serously. The game feels very bland, the only challenge is completing the level in the goal time. I wouldn't have bought it if I knew this "time attack" thing.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its a great, but fast game with intense puzzle platforming, great art style, a classic wayfoward game only major downside is their isn't too much replayability unless you care about score/time
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great port of an old 3DS title. Game looks nice, game has good puzzles, game has good music... It's a good game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very awesome to see these puzzle platformers come to PC. This is the best looking/ playing switch force game so far. Wayforward tends to do a great job of porting to PC, Ducktales and the new Shantae are other great examples of the quality ports/games they do.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A short and sweet play from the geniuses at WayForward blessed by the stupefying musical mastery of Jake Kaufman/virt. Go for all the achievements if you dare take a real challenge. Sharper graphics and additional incidents makes this a steal.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wayforward doing what they do best, mixing old and new skool videogame concepts. You play a futuristic cop out to arrest some... strangly cute convict ladies, though to be honest the game is very light on story and you pretty much have to look it up online for more details, a bit like an old skool game. This platformer's levels are short and sweet, with light puzzle game elements and a mechanic to make platforms in set postions appear and disappear, to jump on, launch or crush enemies with (or…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So pleased to see this on steam so I don't have to keep stealing my sons 3DS to play it! A cute game with a killer mechanic, the block switching is an old idea done really well in this one. Massively under-rated, as far as puzzle platformers go, this one really strides ahead.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Slightly sexy puzzle platformer, now in high definition. The characters and levels look appealing, and the HD is definitely an improvement over the original. The puzzles and platforming are the right level of challenging for me, not too easy and not too hard.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →➕ Amazing soundtrack ➕ Great artstyle and character design ➖ Par times sometimes are too strict, requiring no checkpoints ➖ Mega blaster destroys the puzzles, but is required for some par times ➖ Camera is too zoomed in, even when panning the camera It's a great puzzle platformer, but if you're going for 100% you might get a bit frustrated.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is the best platformer i have played in a good while, amazing soundtrack by Jake Kaufmann along with many, many hours spent playing the vast collection of levels! Reminded me of Metal Slug (Another really good shoot'em'up platformer
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →10/10 Amazing, solid, perfect execution-heavy puzzle platformer. Wanting to get into speedgaming? This will be the game to get you there. The music is addictive, the soundtrack free to download at Jake Kaufman's Bandcamp. The level design is intuitive and scales really well. There are more than double the levels that unlock later on, with pretty difficult pars. I really can't get enough of Might Switch Force. Really, you'll be coming back just for the music. There's just a great feel…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →With a thick protagonist ;) and a great chiptune soundtrack, this puzzle platformer is even better than the 3DS/WiiU versions (which I both own!)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Thank god I saved $10 from the Summer of Sales?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun little pick up and play race against the clock puzzle game. Framerates fine only negative thing i can say about it from what i played is that the highest resolution is 1080p and there is not really any graphics options but it still looked great on a 2560x1440 monitor.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pros: Mighty Switch Force is a cool puzzle platformer with a well realized gimmick and great music. It starts out pretty easy but once you make it to the hyper stages it becomes quite and enjoyable challenge. Cons: Hooligan sisters did nothing wrong
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →*thick joke here* thank you very much -8.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was good for about two hours and then it got frustrating. I had one too many deaths due to clunky controls and platforming to recommend this game. I'm a fan of WayForward's games, but this one felt a little weak by comparison with, say, Shantae. The platforming is more tight in those games.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I just bought this game because of -8
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Smooth gameplay, Great artstyle and amazing soundtrack! Brings back memories, this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It looks nice and plays well. The best things in this game are the presentation, good soundtrack and artstyle. The puzzles are simplistic but kind of cool on the first-go around. I went into this game, probably incorrectly, assuming that it'd have the same humour i found in the Shantae games. However the most you get are some little end level pictures and maybe the voicelines if you stretch and squint a little. Bottomline is I probably incorrectly assumed this'd be more comedic. Also the…
