positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got this just to play Mighty Switch Force 2 since it was the only one in the series I'd never played before. I regret almost nothing. For the new buyers: This collection is about half the price of buying all 4 games individually as far as I can tell.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing that this Jake Kaufman soundtrack comes with a full game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A solid series of puzzle-platform games, sporting two mainline entries, an HD-remake, and a developer pet-project side game. For returning players on PC, this is the only PC release of Mighty Switch Force 2, making it a question for them if that game alone is worth the $20 price of admission, and its justifiably a hard sell. If you are looking to get into this series, this collection is a no-brainer.

unlabelledView post →For anyone wondering, yes this collection works just fine on Steam Deck.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mighty Switch Force Collection complies three games in the Mighty Switch Force series, all short puzzle-platformers with quality animation and top-notch soundtracks. These are all fun games, but note that two of the games compiled are already available on Steam standalone. The original Mighty Switch Force comes in two version: The original 3DS version with traditional spritework, and the redrawn Hyper Drive Edition that is already available on Steam. It's a fun puzzle platformer that…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mighty Switch Force Collection is an extremely broken PC port of a series of 3DS games (later remastered for the Wii U) that might be fun to play if the game wasn't totally broken. For some reason, the game lacks any kind of framerate limiter, and will happily run at 200+ FPS on modern hardware. This renders the entire game unplayable and may or may not be fixable using your graphics card's driver settings (in my case, it wasn't) as the physics appear to be somewhat tied to framerate. I don't…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Holy sh🔥t the OST in this game is straight fire 🔥
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I LOVE KICKING BABIES!!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Discovered this game through pornography, apparently it's also a really good puzzle platformer with focus in speedrunning, fantastic pixel art and music, also worth the package just for the sheer ammount of content alone!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Normally wouldn't have got this game but I needed to pick a 3rd game to complete my humble bundle and this one seemed decent. Overall its just kind of boring and repetitive. Most of the challenge of the game comes down to map/route memorization rather than actual execution which is not all that enjoyable when every map looks pretty much identical to the last. This issue is made even worse when the game suffers from "Sonic Syndrome", where the camera is zoomed in way too far, not really…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The two originals, a remaster and a couch game. Short level puzzle platformers intended for speedrunning. Cute graphics, quite challenging at times, but ultimately incredibly enjoyable. https://youtu.be/EPOlUlfOS84
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played through the 1st and 2nd Game. I played in short bursts of about 2-3 stages per session and it took me around 7 hours to finish both with a few stage retries to get par time for achievement. NOTE: I didn't know that there was a HD version included HAHAHA. I should have played that instead. Its gameplay is a speed running platformer with a twist of "SWITCHING" 2 phases of a box that alter your route. You can take your time with the game and treat this as strictly a platformer. The…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The first game is really good, the music from the second game is fire
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The gimmick has been done better in other games. The problem here is that the game is half a platformer and half a puzzler but the halfs just impede each other. you have 3 hp which makes solving puzzles less fun because you can only make 3 mistakes in a row and then restart the level. There is also a par time for whatever reason for which you have to play perfectly. In most levels that means memorizing the level and then executing it flawlessly. that is just too annoying for me.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You can't play together
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Even if you have already bought Mighty Switch Force Hyper Drive Edition or Mighty Switch Force Academy, BUY THIS COLLECTION ANYWAYS! As of right now, this is the only way to access Mighty Switch Force 2 off of Steam, and in my opinion, it's well worth double dipping for.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very unique puzzle game with cute artstyle, it was worth it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was listening to the amazing, upbeat soundtrack and realized I never gave this a thumbs up. WayForward specializes in making extremely simple, stylized platformers with amazing soundtracks. They are mostly known for their Shantae series, but this series has for me been "the" WayForward game as it condenses everything I like about them into the smallest, most easily consumed package they have. You play through a series of platforming levels and "pick up babes", before making your way to the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The platforming is solid, and the puzzles are good, but it's honestly worth buying just for the soundtrack. The tracks "Love You Love You Love" and "Whoa I'm In Space Cuba" have been stuck in my head since 2011. Just remember that these games were $5.99 on the 3DS eShop back in the day. Keep your expectations in check.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cool little game. Expected more MegaMan-like action tho. Its just a puzzler.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Solo tenía el 1 en Steam, y el 2 nunca llegó a PC. así que para mi, encuentro que está bien. no es nada del otro mundo.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I had an absolute blast playing Mighty Switch Force. It's a delightful mix of challenging puzzles, addictive gameplay, and charming visuals. If you're a fan of platformers or just looking for a fun game to sink your teeth into, this collection is a must-have.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →play this game if you like good music and puzzle platformers.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →doesn't get recommended enough played this for almost 10 years now
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The games are all pretty good puzzle platformers, with a good amount of challenge offered in the later levels and in trying to get Par times on each of the levels for the completionist types.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First game I tried the new mode out with just now was Mighty Switch Force Collection, and it looks crisp af now on the 1080p screen. Best Switch 2 update we've had yet.
unlabelledView post →I have way more hours on these games than these 10 min. Played both msf 1 and 2 on the 3ds and wii u, and i can safely recommend this collection as you get 3 fantastic platforming games. Very simple, but that sweet type of simple. I might have known wayforward already by a lot of their games since the original shantae for gbc (shantae pirates course is probably their best, but rivercity girls 2 also comes close), but msf 1 back on the 3ds was the moment i became a fan, because i wasn't…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a creative, yet oddly unsatisfying and anxiety-inducing puzzle game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →pros: - literally only the music cons: -everything else It's funny how the "HD remake" controls awfully compared to the original. The pricing is ridiculous for the poor quality of product found. For a game released in 2019 the lack of settings is unacceptable. Can't even turn off the the unbearably annoying cring voice acting.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →great game(s) but know you are pretty much getting 4 games that are the same. Hyper Drive Edition is a remake of 1 but the other 2 games have the same puzzle mechanics just in Academy you can see the entire level and 2 added a water gun with some new things but it's not much different. this is more of a puzzle game(s) that plays like you're normal side scroller with a jump, shot (left/right only, the water gun in 2 fires with an arc), and the switch that swaps blocks and other thing back and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pros: +4 games in one collection. +Vibrant visuals and fluid animation. +Challenging and rewarding gameplay. +The legendary music of Jake Kaufman. Cons: -The frustration is real. -Each game is extremely short. Mighty Switch Force Collection includes the original Mighty Switch Force 1 and 2, the HD remake of Mighty Switch Force, and the multiplayer focused Mighty Switch Force Academy. All four games are a mix of action and switch-based puzzle gameplay that is addicting, rewarding, and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun and surprisingly intuitive. Music is also very good. Visuals are nice to look at. Overall a solid platformer bundle and well worth the buy.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simple puzzle-solving platforming action! Funny how this future police or something fight monsters and crime with...the screen? A weird ability to be had in any kind of game. The whole alternating blocks mechanic is easy to understand yet still requires for you to rack your brain to do the time attack challenges or to do extra content. Fun times. Also, it's quite a bargain!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Literally Played this game for the music and it was awesome
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In this video I take a look at Mighty Switch Force! Collection a collection of Mighty Switch Force Games. So the Mighty Switch Force! Collection is finally here and yes, it includes all your past favorites including Mighty Switch Force 2 which despite having an App ID was never actually released on Steam. Missing is the puzzle version of Switch force, Hose it down, but it's more of a side product I suppose being a puzzler not a platformer. Those included are .. Mighty Switch Force! Mighty…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What is it with these games? Got them all from a Humble Bundle, because of Shantae, but jesus, they're bad ... Well, to be fair MSF 1 and MSF 2 I can actually see SOME merit, although the gameplay is extremely shallow. In 1 you shoot a gun, and in 2 you're a firewoman ... at least there is some variation here, but the gameplay gets repetitive fast. The art style is also fine pixel-art. Then comes ... MSF Hyper Drive Edition, which is just a "remaster" of MSF 1 with "cleaner" graphics ...…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →a great set of puzzle platformers with a focus on speed and precision timing
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A great collection of games. MSF 2 is my personal favorite, also the multiplayer achievements are dumb. Patricia is really Hot.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wish I could recommend the game. Shantae is a great game with good platforming but this just isn't. Theres a bunch of trial and error puzzles. The continue/checkpoint system makes no sense as you never know how many lives you have. The final levels are horrible as they add this timed switching that you have no control over that is more frustrating than fun and takes away the common mechanic of the entire game and is all trial and error. Academy is the worst. The platforming is too precise for…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I simply love this game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very nice and replayable game. The visuals are very appealing and they did a very good job with the music in the games. Although I feel like this was supposed to be a one and done game since any new announcements regarding this series are simply nonexistent.
