My all time favorite! And — *long, dramatic pause* — I’ll never be able to watch it again.” I crack up every time I think about it.

unlabelledView post →In the first Men in Black movie Agent K says the organization is funded by patents on alien technology which means the Men in Black canonically include a team of patent lawyers and that would make a great spin-off.
unlabelledView post →Men in Black is a movie about how if you're an NYPD officer who actually and energetically pursues their subject, you're a complete outlier who deserves an invitation to a special organization that gets to hang out with aliens all day

unlabelledView post →Very interesting that Men in Black II, a film about a government agency tasked with protecting us from evil aliens (who are explicitly as part of the joke coded as immigrants), came out the year before they launched ICE. feels like there should be more conspiracy theories about that
unlabelledView post →A new ‘MEN IN BLACK’ film is in the works. Will Smith is being eyed to return with his character written into the script in the hope that he signs on (Source: Deadline)
unlabelledView post →Every single movie got a cartoon show. Not even animated movies. Men in Black got a cartoon. Evolution, the 2001 creature feature action comedy, got a cartoon. Hand drawn too. They were more often than not absolute dogwater but they got made.
unlabelledView post →A new 'Men in Black' film is in the works • Will Smith is being eyed to return — he won't commit to anything until reading a script • It's being written by the 'Bad Boys For Life' writer Chris Bremner (via Deadline)
unlabelledView post →Men in Black and Godzilla: The Series was a late 90's one-two punch for me of "I liked the movie, but I LOVED the cartoon."
unlabelledView post →Ain’t no way you get to lecture us about health when every time we see you you look more and more like how Vincent D’Onofrio’s character Edgar in Men In Black was looking deeper and deeper into the film.

unlabelledView post →This line from the first Men in Black film is such sharp insight, I think about it a lot It's just a film, AND YET We love to think of ourselves as higher, intelligent beings who employ logic to guide our actions, but we absolutely are not
unlabelledView post →I think about that scene in the first Men in Black movie where Kay is showing Jay this super tiny disc and says something like "this is gonna replace cds soon" we went from cds to digital, to streaming then back up vinyl.
unlabelledView post →I'm rewatching the 1st "Men in Black" movie. In the middle of a light, fun film, Vincent D'onofrio's physical performance as the bug is astounding and terrifying.

unlabelledView post →Rewatching Men In Black, this movie actually has astounding acting. "Yeah Megan the cast is stacked" yeah but they aren't phoning it in like it's a nothing movie Like with K first meets J and asks "did he say when" about the world ending. Real concern in the eyes
unlabelledView post →Men in Black is on and this movie has aged remarkably well. And D’Onofrio as Edgar is one of those elite unrecognized (by industry standards) performances of the 90s like Kilmer in Tombstone.

unlabelledView post →Comics to Films 📚=🎞️ The Men in Black (1990) by Lowell Cunningham & Sandy Carruthers was adapted to film in 1997. A rousing comedy element is added to the film. The film discards the paranormal threats to focus on aliens. Comparatively the comic is darker than the upbeat film. 🕶️👽⬛ #booksky #filmsky

His face looks loose and rubbery, like it doesn't quite fit properly on his skull anymore. He has had a bug in his brain. Am I talking about RFK Jr. or Edgar from the film MEN IN BLACK?
unlabelledView post →Not me. But my dad. He watched Men in Black with no context. He thought is was a spy film until Tommy Lee Jones cut an alien out of his human disguise. Absolutely hilarious reaction.
