He promises to bring him to life if he survives just one usual day back in real world. Sounds easy? Nope, not even close. Samuel agrees and wakes up in his room, he can't move, can't breath, can't do anything and here when you realize that surviving a day will be a difficult task. Samuel's body must be controlled manually, that means you as a player need to control…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Blink Sam Blink! Manual Samuel is a fun adventure game with lots of dark humor and hashtags. The story is about Samuel, a wealthy narcissistic man who can do anything with money, except that morning he dies and is sent to hell. There, he met the Grim Reaper, 'Death,' who made a deal with him. If Sam were to give his 'Shreds', which is a currency in Hell, the Reaper would resurrect him on one condition, he survive 24 hours with a handicap of the Reaper's choice, which was living manually.…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You play as Samuel, who is a spoiled loathsome guy who ends up ded and resurrected for 24 hours in attempt to regain his life. During the 24 hours you must control Samuel's body and basic functions manually, including periodic breathing, blinking, walking, and...... other things. A controller is almost a requirement otherwise certain areas can get bugged. Each body part and function is controlled by a different button and you have to move everything in tandem. You will get on-screen hints…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Funny as hell and weirdly charming. This game is a short ride but gets tricky in spots. The whole idea is that your character’s dead and can’t control his body anymore, so Death sends him back for a second shot. From there, you’re juggling arms, legs, breathing, blinking – all at the same time. Sounds silly, but it’s tougher than it looks. You’re constantly hitting buttons like crazy and sometimes barely pulling it off. One gripe – after a while, moving your legs gets seriously annoying.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My brother bought it for me and so I was obligated to beat it at least once. Played offline, so the playtime isn't correct. QWOP mixed with The Stanley Parable and a dash of early 2000's 'lol random' humor. If I played this 20 years ago on Kongregate I would've thought it was the most amazing thing ever. Worth every penny I spent on it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wanted to play a short, funny game for a change and I liked the idea behind this game, but unfortunately, apart from the sympathetic narration, the execution is extremely poor. I finished it until the end and I can attest the gameplay becomes increasingly boring and you will end the game feeling completely underwhelmed. The "story" can't even hold itself in it's own absurdity, because it's just weak and not really that funny. So, spending money on this is honestly not worth it. The developers…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Manual Samuel wasn’t just a game for me—it was a wake-up call cleverly disguised as dark comedy. From the moment I was forced to manually control something as simple as breathing or blinking, the absurdity quickly gave way to a humbling realization: everything I do in real life, from walking to speaking, is a privilege of awareness and effort. The frustration of constantly failing Samuel’s most basic tasks mirrored my own struggles with control, routine, and taking life’s small moments for…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was the first part of The Complete Tuesday Trilogy and I'm giving it a thumbs up only because it's a big part of the overall story of the trilogy. I'd say this game is only worth it if you're aiming to play Helheim Hassle and The Holy Gosh Darn, but I wouldn't recommend this as a stand-alone game. It's not a really long game, a playthrough is something like 2 hours, but after about one hour of the Octodad-type fumbling the gameplay just starts to get too stale. I didn't much care for…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This games movement is heavily influenced by the viral classic game QUOP. Add in funny dialogue that reminds you of a bad adult film storyline and this is what you get. There's more animation in this game than most Hentai games.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A pretty fun game for a while! It doesn't take long to complete. I would recommend buying on sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Interesting concept and story but in the end it becomes annoying, especially the boss fight. If you buy it for less than a euro it's ok.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Death, Deals, and Dysfunctional Limbs: A Hilariously Uncoordinated Journey If you've ever wondered what it’s like to manually control every single bodily function — blinking, breathing, walking, even holding in a sneeze — Manual Samuel delivers that exact bizarre experience with charm, absurdity, and a surprisingly touching narrative. This Anniversary Edition brings all the original weirdness with a few technical touch-ups, making it a delightfully awkward ride for players who enjoy…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I found most the humor in this game to either be ineffective or outdated. Maybe playing it so long after it's release is the problem but I simply find this game unfunny. From a gameplay perspective it is alright. I believe this is going for the rage game style of play where the controls are intentionally frustrating. However it pretty much fails on that front as this game is not very hard. So overall this project is left as a "comedic rage game" with barely any funny jokes and very little…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is SO annoying but at the same time so fascinating - steering Samuel manually in his daily life. The name of the game is exactly what it is - it takes some time to get used to the steering but after some time it gets less challenging. The story is nice, well made and thought through. The characters make sense and advancing in this game is also easy enough without making it frustrating. Only tested the singleplayer-version though, although it seems to have some co-op mode according to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Do you ever wonder how hard life would be if you had to breathe and blink manually? Me neither, at least until Manual Samuel came into my life. Manuel Samuel is an adventure puzzle game that tells the story of Samuel, a real douche bag person who doesn’t seem to care about anyone around him including his girlfriend. And his behavior pushes her over the edge sending him on a trip to hell, not directly but it starts the journey. It’s tough to break down Manuel Samuel into sections cause the game…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A game that aged like milk and already started out spoiled. It's repetitive, the controls are not fun and the narrator is straight up an annoying c-SKELETON WARRIORS! The premise would have been fun, but the whole story and characters are extremely shallow. The humor too is just cheap and painfully blind to its quality.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've suffered through bad dialogue before, but this is pushing it for me. The narrator is so incredibly unfunny, and then they introduce Death. I mean it's really just starting from nothing and going nowhere. Slop. Absolute garbage.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →ragebait game but not at all fun, annoying voices for characters, nah
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice game to kill time, effects are funny enough that I can overlook the fact that it's highly repetitive. Wish I could find someone to try out coop with, though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Play this high. Gonna do a kickflip now.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played this after I played Holy Gosh darn and lets be honest, It did not disappoint me. Yet it was such a good experience.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Meh. More annoying than anything else.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →was fun until the final boss fight bugged out and since the game doesn't have a checkpoint system (as you cannot die) you have to restart the entire level just to have another chance at the fight not bugging out which takes so long and is so boring. Edit: Tried to do the boss again and it's totally bugged you cannot blow out Satan's sword I can't even beat the game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is annoying on purpose. The whole point is that you must manually walk, breathe, and blink, failing repeatedly while Death doing a bad Aaron Paul impression loops the same background dialogue about kick flips and the narrator sighs at you in disappointment.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →#HolyFeces 7/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Little did I know, how much I would fall for these absolutely bonkers and quirky games...
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Brought a controller for the first time, wasnt used to the buttons nor how it felt in my hand, searched for a game to help me with my first taste of using a controller and stumbled upon Manual Samuel. Finished it a little under two hours and had a some fun doing so. The story is simple but charming in its own way, even through its clear that its entairly revolves and based on the game's controller-gimmick. It isn't a difficult game and for didnt need it to be, the story is cute but i wouldn't…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very unique game. I remember the comedy being funnier than it is now, though. Also could be longer. But still a fun playthrough.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Holy FECES this game is not worth playing again for the added achievements. I enjoyed it the first playthrough, but coming back to it makes me realize its not very fun to play. Holy FECES! The challenge is to sit through the dialogue again. I don't want to put anyone through that pain.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So bad it's good
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I get that it's supposed to be funny, but I play games to have fun. A guy having to do everything manually is indeed a funny concept. Playing it on the other hand, is a frustrating chore. The comedy wasn't good enough to make me suffer through the mechanics. I uninstalled this on the second level, where you have to drive a car with manual transmission.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wish I never bought this. The humor is bad, the game almost requires a controller. It feels like your ramming your head against a wall rather than playing a video game. Don't get.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a very big "Yes but..". If you enjoy the humor the story can be very enjoyable. The game play is interesting yet simple, however in my opinion is best played on a controller. There is also a known glitch for the final boss fight were certain keyboards simply can't beat it so +1 for controller. All of that being said, the game is painfully short. I usually have a standard for $1 for one hour of game play, I beat the game in less than an hour. Now, did I get $10 of enjoyment out of it?…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love it! I really like story-telling games, and this one is a funny one. The controls are ok, the actor voices are amazing, and I really enjoy this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I do like the voice acting and jokes but controls are annoying and horrible
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Such a funny game. Narrator alone is worth the experience. It is such a short game, it feels like an arcade game. Try to speed run that mo.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Possibly one of the best games ever made. I've beaten it countless times and it never gets old.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Manual Samuel – Last Tuesday Edition, developed by Perfectly Paranormal and published by Curve Games, is a darkly comedic 2D adventure game that delivers an unusual blend of challenge and humor through its unique gameplay mechanics. Released in 2016, the game has earned a “Very Positive” reception on Steam, praised for its creative premise and entertainingly difficult controls. It stands out in the indie scene by transforming a simple narrative into an interactive experiment in coordination,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I had fun playing it once and then I had a lot of frustration trying to get all achievements. Eventually I got them and it wasn't fun. Now there's more added achievements and that's no fun. I don't want to play this again.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun and quick QWOPlike game. Convinced me to check out and buy the other games in the series that seem equally as enjoyable.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's 5/10 game. Some might like it, most won't. Main story line finished in 1h 55m. Not going to bother with the rest. I was on a verge with this one for quite some time. On one hand, it's kinda funny, it's somewhat original - I'll admit that much... On the other, it's a chore. There's very little pleasure in beating the game that makes you mush weird combinations of buttons in minigames to accomplish silly things, like blinking eyes, holding an item, taking a shower, or swallowing coffee.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The idea behind the game is quite innovative. However, I could have enjoyed the humor more if you weren't constantly busy pressing buttons. The fact that the controls get annoying after a while is part of the story. But at some point, I stopped being entertained and just felt frustrated, so I quit early.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The fact they're still updating this game is amazing. Fun game! Get it now! Or wait until full price like it deserves ;)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its a very good and creative gam its short but very fun you may want to kill your self but over all the game is very fun good job
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sam dies a horrible death, and is treated horribly by everyone (including his trans gf) simply for being wealthy. GF assaults him for acting narcissistic, and she gets away with it because its against the law to be a douche bag, but not to knock someone unconscious with a bottle. #SamsLifeMattersTOO
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is another one of those games where I love absolutely everything about it.... except actually playing it. Holy hell, the controls are perhaps the most frustrating thing I've ever encountered in all my years of gaming. I struggled through the game until I got to what I assume to be the final boss andddd.... after struggling to do too much, finally gave up and uninstalled the game. Don't get me wrong. The art and animation and voice acting and story? All top notch stuff! But man... If…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Possibly one of the most 2016 indie games ever made. Mostly mean that positively, but I don't think the humour quite holds up.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is one of the funniest game I have ever played lol Sometimes when you are struggling, the narrator makes funny comments that makes you laugh
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →probably one of the best games i have played so far, its super funny, original jokes and the mechanic might seem annoying but it isnt that bad, you literally get used to it, you can beat the game in less than 2 hours probably but i messed around a bit and played the time games, its definitely worth it and the comics are funny overall 9.8/10 wish they made more story with this mechanic
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →♥♥♥♥ mustvebeen funny like 10 years ago
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Got to love the originality, and the absurdity
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A quirky and hilarious game where you control every aspect of a character's daily life. The offbeat humor and challenging controls make for a uniquely entertaining experience. A fun choice for fans of unconventional gameplay.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This seems like it was made for kids because the humor and storyline are very childish, but the controls seem like they would be pretty frustrating for kids. So I'm not really sure who this game is for.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Such a highly entertaining and hilariously frustrating game. Having to manually control everything—from blinking and breathing to walking—is a brilliant concept that keeps you laughing the entire time. The narrator’s commentary is gold and thoroughly immerses you in its comedy. In my opinion, the length is ideal; if it were any longer, the controls might have gotten tedious, but they left it at the sweet spot. A very unique little game that is definitely worth picking up on a sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Perfectly Paranormal was on a mission to create the least entertaining game and were adamantly against every and all fun things a game could offer. They held meetings and had many talks, sometimes even in their free time and eventually they reached a consensus that this would be it. They rejoiced and Manual Samuel was born. They lowered the bar so much that previously games deemed seriously unfun were given new life as somewhat enjoyable, all thanks to Perfectly Paranormal.
