It hasn't changed at all from the first version which only had 3 rooms so this extra room could just be added to v1 rather than making people buy a whole new game for no apparent gain. Overall, pretty easy and the puzzles aren't satisfying to beat. Plenty of better escape games on the market.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good quality escape game. Puzzles are good and team play is also good. There are some minor things getting use to in the game like floating objects getting in the way of when you try and walk around but other then that its fine.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →feels rushed First of all I loved the first Mad Experiments. unfortunately the sequel feels and plays worse. bad and wonky controls, buggy maps, wierd graphic glitches and the puzzles just don´t work. all and all it feels a bit rushed and not enough beta tested if they tested it at all. i really like escape the room games and like i said the first one was great. i hope if they make a third one they put some more effort in.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this is one of my favorite escape simulators, and the dev is super quick to respond to any problems
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Far from the best escape room games. But, still, all escape rooms are good escape rooms. If you picked up and enjoyed Mad Experiments 1, then you'll find more of the same here. No real improvements, just different puzzles.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This entry was considerably worse than the original, the 'puzzle' designs are some of the worst I've seen in this style of game. I have played a great many of these with my brother, both in VR and on PC and I've never seen some of these 'puzzle' design mistakes in any other game, such as; expecting all players to understand how to play chess in order to complete the 'puzzle' (which is expecting pre-existing knowledge, this is a big no-no for escape room style games, just because I happen to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So after playing through this game in it's entirety with the same group of friends who I played through the first game with and this one falls very short of the expectations we had, the final room was the only decent one but still did not provide difficult or interesting puzzles and they were all extremely linear whereas the first game was much better in every single way.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The atmosphere created by the game is very nice. If you are experienced in puzzle games, you immediately understand the beauty of the game. Even if you are not, you get used to it in a short time. Music selection, chapter and puzzle designs are fine. It has much better aspects than other games of its kind. You should definitely try it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →We played this game for a company team event, and it is great! We had also played through all the chapters of Mad Experiments 1, so we were looking forward to Mad Experiments 2 and were not disappointed. It's definitely challenging, but the puzzles are connected in a good way that keeps the experience entertaining. We played the Prologue and Chapter 1 and had a good time with both. Great job! Highly recommended!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →ORIGINAL EARLY ACCESS REVIEW AT BOTTOM Full Game Review: In following the sentiments of my original review, having played the full game, I must stand by my 'Not Recommended' opinion. Room 2/3 (not counting the prologue) is a bit rough. There was a point where it wasn't clear if the game was glitching or if we were missing something; it turned out we were missing something, but the visual effects of the circular gate on the floor having some inconsistent patterns, and no audio cue for it…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As much as I want to give this game a positive review, I cannot. The puzzles are easy. The Current rooms are extremely short The rotation of object is very bad (can't rotate all directions, only 2 which doesn't help when an object is badly rotated) The floating of objects is intended yet feels bad since flying thin papers are hard to see when they are at eye level. One of the masks for multiplayer is invisible from the back. When playing with a team of 4 on the first game, we always ended…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing escape game ! We played with 2 firends, puzzles are challenging (the map rofffff) but overall, it's a lot of fun. The end is really a suprise.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you love to play escape room games then this game sure is worth the money!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mad Experiments 2 is a really fun puzzle game that forces you to think outside of the box, comes with it is a really nice and enjoyable gameplay and soundtrack overall a solid 8/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mad Experiments is a saga that I have been following since the first iteration came out. It's a beautiful game with really fun puzzles that make you think outside the box. There is an emphasis on cooperative gameplay, but it can be done solo. The wait for the latest rooms was well worth it. Highly recommend this for anyone who enjoys escape rooms and puzzle games.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very fun and changeling game, I highly recommend it. Also more fun to play with friends
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The puzzles are varied and interesting. I have not finished all of the different rooms yet, but I am really enjoying it so far!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lots, Lots, Lots of Bugs and glitches. Feels like Developers only released to get money instead of actually trying to make a good game. Puzzles are eh.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's only one chapter with others "coming soon". Been playing Escape Simulator instead which has community rooms giving me much better game for my buck.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game still has a lot of bugs but looks promising
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The environment storytelling is underrated here. Notes, props, creepy whispers… I actually wanted to know what the mad scientist was doing. Not just puzzles
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is the second installment in the Mad Experiments: Escape Room series, and it is a huge step down from the first game. The puzzles are either completely trivial, or hopelessly cryptic, with hardly anything in between. The hints functionality might as well be non-existent, as it only reiterates basic information that is already spelled out to you by the puzzle itself. And that's not to mention how half of the "puzzles" are barely even a puzzle, and feels more like a chore where you need to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has some major bugs about halfway through - search online for issues in the Greenhouse. My friends and I were unable to finish the game due to these bugs; even with the puzzles solved correctly, the game does not proceed.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really enjoyed this game, I played with my fiance, we played the first one as well. Only issue we had was on the last part on the train, as soon as we spawned in for the very first time playing, every puzzle was completed for us except for the very last one. Not sure how this glitch got us but we still managed to complete the level in around 40 mins because of how much we had to look around thinking we had not completed anything. Aside from the glitches, really enjoyed the game, would love to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This gets a tentative half thumbs up. It's a massive step down in creativity when compared to the first, and it was a bit disappointing overall. I bought this as soon as it was released, as my friends and I loved the first. It's taken time to create, which is understandable for an indie game. Nevertheless, there aren't multiple endings to some maps (like in the first), there is one secret (to my knowledge), and the themes (train car specifically) have been used for better and for worse a few…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i wanted to like the game since the first game was great, but the movement is really glitchy and frustrating. the actual puzzles were good but trying to do them annoyed me a lot with the camera frequently clipping outside the level/inside objects, the objects hitboxes seemed really inconsistent which made moving a nightmare and picking up items and placing them down felt pretty bad.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The first puzzle on the train level makes absolutely no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sense
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A good puzzle room game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →nice multiplayer puzzle room game. decent graphics and soundtrack for each chapter. it would be also nice to see some puzzle pieces to randomized so it becomes more challenging.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overall the gaem-play isn't that bad but the mechanics to inspect the items is kinda rough, takes a bit time to get the angle you want to view it. the floating mechanic is helpfull when you drop the item.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is really goood. the soundtrack and the atmospher are on point, the graphics are also good.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i would say its a decent puzzle game. the graphics are fine and some puzzle design are amazing.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the game has a good atmosphere to it, the graphics are nice and the detail to each room is great.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A nice single/multiplayer puzzle escape room game with a great soundtrack and puzzle design for each chapter. You can play in either mode, a limited time challenge or enjoy your time in relax mode with unlimited time and explore around.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Had blast playing this game. the game looks nice and with unique puzzle in each chapters, Altho i did saw some minor bug but wasn't that noticeable (only if you put some items in a specific way to see these).
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →|English| Good points: - Very nice game menu - For escape room and puzzle game fans - The atmosphere of the game is nice - Beautiful graphics - Clues to not be completely lost - Good music Bad points: - Several bugs that do not hinder gameplay - Only 3 chapters and a prologue |Français| Points positifs: - Très beau menu - Pour les fans d'escape room et de puzzle game - L'ambiance du jeu est sympa - Beaux graphismes - Des indices pour ne pas être complêtement perdu - Bonne…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is a good escape room-like game with a bit of playtime. It was fun to play through
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love it. Good graphics and optimization for a puzzle game. If you want to play a puzzle game this game is the very good option. Chapters in the game are exciting and mysterious. Soundtrack makes the game fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it's a buggy mess, requesting refund
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the worst games I have ever played.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The environment storytelling is underrated here. Notes, props, creepy whispers… I actually wanted to know what the mad scientist was doing. Not just puzzles
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I rage quit when we were stuck on a color puzzle for 40 minutes. Came back the next day, solved it in 5 minutes. Game 1, me 0
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Some puzzles are a little obscure. We had to look up hints. Still, it never felt unfair, just… brain-melting. I like that.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Way cheaper than a real escape room and I got the same adrenaline rush. Please make DLC or more rooms!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Solo play is ok but this game SHINES in co-op. Seriously, if you have a buddy, play it together with voice chat. You’ll either become better friends or stop talking for a week lol
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Visuals are a bit dated, but puzzles are very clever. Some were hard, some we brute-forced, but overall fun night with friends. Wish it had more rooms though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played through all 3 of the rooms with 2 friends. We enjoyed the first 2 rooms and made it within the time limit. The 3rd room was not fun though. Most of the puzzles in that level didn't make sense to us. we spent over 40 minutes on one of them, took a clue, then reveal the answer and still didn't understand it.. Then the last puzzle comes and boy that's an unfun one. Id rate the 1st and 2nd room a 7/10 then the last room 2/10.

unlabelledView post →Game doesn't even work right in multiplayer. Room 2 broke in multiple ways; the globe puzzle never enabled and the items kept dissappearing for one of us.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game showcases exceptional level design and depth, consistently encouraging players to think outside the box to uncover solutions. It’s truly brilliant and highly engaging. I’m looking forward to continuing my journey, whether playing alone or with friends, and I’m excited to see what future updates will bring!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Worlds better than the previous game. Actually pretty decent and inventive. I'd try it out if you want a co-op puzzle game to play.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The dev was probably forced to complete the game overnight. Puzzles don't make sense. Not worth it. My duo got motion sickness and it wasn't even the VR version. Mad Experiments 1 was way better than this one
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Was unable to complete due to game breaking bugs. In the library, several books did not spawn forcing me to use a walkthrough to complete the level. In the garden, I had just gotten the thing to turn the valve which raised a central pillar thing out of the floor in the plant room, but as soon as it finished going up, it immediately went back down making it impossible to interact with. No idea how important that object was, but I bet I couldn't progress without it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No cap this ♥♥♥♥ was ass.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As far as multiplayer is concerned it is not worth playing with more than maybe 2 people. Unlike the first game there will only be one thing to do at a time and people will be just standing around waiting.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Extremely broken
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →do you like desync and annoying glitches and crashes? then this is the game for you. the puzzles them self is not half bad even if some are pretty difficult to even imagine a solution since the creator of them didn't think to actually put in half decent clues, and no i'm not talking about the clues you ask for but just the lack of information you get in between tasks. 10/10 will suffer trough the next game as well
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This got updated since I last played it but oh boi it boils my watercooling setup, max fps needs to be set :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is so bad. Just dont do it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →""Its a decent puzzle escape room game. the graphics are ok and the atmosphere of each lvl were good.""
