This is invasive, and was not disclosed.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was absolutely great, played it for hours with my sister , but then they did a twitch drops event and I already missed out on content , I hate games that I HAVE to play to have content in the game , when i buy a game i just want the whole thing , not FOMO mechanics , I get enough of this from Gachas , Game ruined instantly , I would refund it right now if i could but that ship has already sailed. please stop punishing people for not playing your game every second , its super toxic…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game, as it currently is, is full of bugs and unsufferable loading times. It's good, but I cannot imagine why they decided the game could leave early access as it is.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I found this game right when I needed to. I don't even remember purchasing it, I was browsing my library for games that look like they'd play well on my Steam Deck during camp trip outings or from the comfort of my bed, and added this title to that list. Ironically, I started my playthrough on my desktop on a 40" display with dedicated audio hardware to power a sound system befitting a living room entertainment center -- not what I anticipated this game to be fitted for, but my mind is abuzz…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fairly shallow adhd feeling action game, with a bit of every other genre sprikled about. Honestly not bad with friends id say, but the real life locked resources and other tedious timesinks to gain any progress killls momentum. Oh and that second EULA hiding in game to dodge steam protections is gross. Completely and totally gross.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I refunded this game when my 1 player "offline" game crashed at the exact same second my internet connection died. I'm not the sharpest person in the world, but even I can figure out that's no bueno.

There is a current free weekend going on for the game as I'm writing this—I've has Lynked on my wishlist for a while but it was very far from my list of priorities. Without this free weekend it might have been…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought this game thinking it would be a fun time playing a Hades/Animal Crossing game. Plus the aesthetic is great. However, when I started playing it and spent more time than I care to admit just fishing in the beginning, I discovered after doing my first mission that the weapon I had unlocked was not available. And when I returned to base, it wasn't there to be purchased anymore either. But then I unlocked it again for purchase, but I had to get two more of the rare fish I had already used.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What a W game man. It's like Hades and Animal Crossing mixed together. I don't understand the thumbs down reviews at all. Just had a blast playing this for 4.7 hours straight! Definitely recommend to the players that love Rogue type/building/town management/crafting and resource gathering/fishing. YES SIR!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Before I played Lynked: Banner of the Spark i had a big wee wee, lot's of friends, two girlfriends, no depression and absolutely a lot of will to live. None of these things have changed, but the game is pretty meh.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cannot Host a multiplayer game, only reason I purchased. Game appears to be abandoned. Very disappointing, do not buy.

unlabelledView post →it's good for the first one or two chapters, seemed promising. the animation and graphics are great, although a bit expensive on resources. i was going for the achievements, but it became annoyingly repetitive very early, after that it was a stretch to try and complete, I gave up on chapter 7. that's too sad because the bosses are pretty fun, but hidden under massive grind of same rooms over and over it tried and failed in being everything at once, a rougelite, farming, building, and none of…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was absolutely fantastic; my friends and I sank so many hours into it. But then they held a Twitch drops event and I already missed out on some of the content. I can't stand games that force you to play constantly just to get all the content. When I buy a game, I want the complete experience, not FOMO mechanics. I get more than enough of that from gacha games. The game was instantly ruined for me. I'd ask for a refund right now if I could, but that ship has already sailed. Please stop…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Charming roguelike fused with a slice of life sim in the vein of Animal Crossing. Combat is fun and hectic, then you return home to hang out with your robot buddies, catch robot fish, decorate your house, customize your appearance, upgrade your weapons/tools. It's fun. The aesthetic really grew on me; I'm reminded of MegaMan. If I had one criticism, it's that the building aspect of the game has no real purpose. You can spend hours decorating your little town with all kinds of odds and ends and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love everything about this game, but the gameplay just doesn't keep me coming back. The art is amazing, I listen to the music outside of the game, the characters are fun and have great personality, I love the building of your town and roaming around doing quests for your little guys. But then you go into a mission using the same weapon you've used every mission before. You get drops that really dont change anything other than you might get a better element on your weapon. Most upgrades…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wanted to like this game, but it was too much on the rails for me. What I mean is that you could only do so much before you were stuck in a mission. The combat was weird in the missions too, I had unlocked the blade, the gauntlet and hammer, and didn't like that none of them had interrupts. So if an enemy would attack in two attacks, your only option was to dodge and wait for the few seconds of cooldown they had before they launched back into their same attack. Some people may like it, I…

unlabelledView post →You know? When I first played the tutorial I didn't really think I was going to like the game. I don't think the tutorial did a very good job of introducing the game mechanics. It seemed overly simple, and that combined with the somewhat elementary school level of the dialogue didn't really leave me thinking I would spend time with it. I also thought the main buddy robot voice was really annoying also (still do, actually). I was ready to sign off on this game. I saw one of the updates…

unlabelledView post →A quirky and adorable fusion of Hades and Animal Crossing—but with robots! This game is a truly unique blend of town-building and rogue-lite combat. You’ll build a town from the ground up, populating it with lively robot villagers, while diving into fast-paced, ever-changing battles. With a wide variety of weapons and abilities to choose from, the combat stays fresh and engaging. Who would have thought two such different genres could complement each other so well? It offers plenty of laid-back…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Multiplayer would not work, unable to host a lobby as I am loading forever attempting to connect to the Lynked server. I cannot connect under the same wifi with my partner. Do not buy this unless you are looking for a single player experience. Hopefully the issues with multiplayer are resolved so we can enjoy this game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →+ Art style is nice and colorful + Runs fine. No crashes - The town management half of the game is overly simplistic and unrewarding. - The "Roguelite/like" elements really aren't. Instead of a run ending when you either win or die, they are mission based and end when you complete the mission. - Some of the weapons are just bad. - No feeling of creating a build as your build gets functionally rerolled when you pick up a new weapon. - Combat just doesn't feel very snappy when compared to other…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's dreadfully shallow and boring. You have so much time sinks put in into building meaningless decorations and outfits, but you can barely upgrade your weapons and every upgrade is super expensive. The "rogue"-lite nature doesn't do anything. You will never change your weapon after the first chest, because why would you, you already can put the best mods into every weapon every stage - not like they matter AT ALL. There are no run-defining alterations in the entire game. Then you have…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game's alright, but becomes unplayable if you spend more than a couple minutes in an area. Massive framerate drops. I'll revisit the game if that's ever fixed.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Way below the standard for the genre. - Combat is overly simplistic and presents no challenge whatsoever. - The roguelike "runs" gives almost no tools to make interesting choices. You choose your weapon and every run you will play generally exactly the same unless you change weapon. - The main "meat" of the game seems to be the town management, it seemed promising in the beginning but 6 or so hours in everything felt flat and had become boring. Each sidecharacter is empty, there is no…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →3.5/10 I've actively played the game during its free weekend for maybe 5 hours and as such it's been OK for a free lazy very casual curiosity driven entertainment, but even if had it permanently in my library, I doubt, if I would play it any more. It's very casual, no strategy or planning really involved and even with very poor tutorial (for example it doesn't tell you in advance, that a newly acquired weapon can't be equipped before you begin an adventure), it's pretty effortless to get…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lynked is that game that comes in very rarely that is worth way more that the demanding price. This has all elements of a rogue like/lite, so you get to upgrade permanently and temporarily as well. It also has a town building/town folk interaction like Animal Crossing but without all the stuff that makes those types of game annoying. Resources you collect don't take a full real time day to respawn and you don't need to grind endlessly to get enough money to afford stuff either. Added to all…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lynked: BotS (like robots, get it?) is remarkably seamless fusion of a not-great lifesim game with a not-great action roguelite. I don't think players that are uninterested in one or both of those halves should pick up this game. But if you're like me? It might just grip you for 70+ hours as you pursue every sidequest and spend time decorating your town and becoming friends with a huge cast of robot villagers. It helps that I already have a soft spot for robot characters.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I recommend this game, but with a big caveat that I'll get into in a bit. The gameplay loop of Lynked is mostly solid. You have a basic city building, resource gathering, and farming system which works like a hub area that you return to in between missions. It has some similarities to roguelike games. The townspeople offer you quests. Some of those quests are to improve or increase the number of people and buildings in the town and this gives you access to upgrades and varieties of your…

Update - There is still nothing in the patch notes indicating that the multiplayer has had a patch. The fellow who has responded is from the publisher not the developer so hes just running damage control to try and minimize the truth. Despite what the "developer" publisher…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was able to play one session with my partner. The next time we logged on we kept getting "please hold for LYNK network connection". Why do we need to connect to a server (that clearly has issues) when this should be a peer to peer connection? Update: The servers are indeed back online, however this is a service dependency issue For a 1-4 player co-op game, relying on a developer-controlled server just to connect with friends seems wrong. If the LYNK servers go down, or eventually get shut…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game made me realise that I would find Animal Crossing even more enjoyable if I —on top of catching fish and decorating my little town— also were given a gun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was going to give it a favourable review because it's a nice game that does some stuff well, but I've been playing for 40 hours after the main campaign (50~ hours for main and side missions) just in the effort to unlock all the game's achievements. Also important to note that throughout my playthrough, the game constantly dropped below 60fps. I don't know how things got so bad, but I remember playing and defeating the final boss at 20fps. It was unfortunate having to drop all the graphics…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I would love to recommend this game, and I'm really loving it, but sadly it has too many game breaking bugs. Too often it has happened that I couldn't complete a mission because of bugs. For example a boss becoming invincible, finishing a mission but it not registering it has completed, and enemies getting stuck outside the mission area making me unable to kill them, thus me being unable to progress further. Also sometimes quest progress just resets for some reason.

Everything have levels which i've never experienced before in a game. The firghts are in dungeon like maps and there are a hard ones too which took me few tries until i complete them. Different currencies and shops and a little stories behind every character. The whole world is very colourful and also you can farm, fish…

unlabelledView post →A cool concept and a cute and well polished game, but poor execution Mostly the roguelike elements are very disappointing. The only real choices you get are 1 of 3 random mods, every room, and then you find chests with a weapon in them and a whole random set of mods you can swap to, letting you reroll the whole run. The runs are extremely short and the mods are uninteresting, and you really just can't build towards anything I kinda expect the game is tailored towards children, with…
