negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I still remember first playing this on Android close to its release, and I’m really glad to see it here. Sadly, it’s not really worth the asking price. I mean, it’s a nice and fun casual game with a great idea behind it, but not only there isn’t a lot of content, there’s some annoying problems here and there that don’t make it worth the full price... negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was awesome up until a year ago. I sunk endless hours into this version and the mobile version. Sadly, the devs have pretty much abandoned the game and it doesn't work anymore. If you're reading this after 2025, don't buy this. It's broken.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Add a campaign mode and make that the way you unlock maps
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Originally a mobile game, much better on pc, no pop up ads like the mobile version. But please devs, we NEED online multiplayer mode. Also, kinda sucks having to buy DLCs to complete achievements. Overall 4/10
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game seemed fun at first but them you realize that every single game you start at the same time but some players seem to start out 50 times your size and try to eat you right out the gate at start. Then the game say its online and it has players with real names but it seems you aren't playing real players at all. Play the game and you will see what I mean with the way they lock on to you and try to eat you but then give up always at the same time it seems. What I'm saying is a so called…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gets boring really fast. Lots of bugs. Not really fun for cheevs, big grind. 3/10
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After purchasing this game I learned that all of the .io games use bots instead of actual multiplayer. If you just want to waste time, this is an ok game. If you were expecting multiplayer to actually work instead of playing against bots, then pass on this one. There is no real competition here, you can't even change your nickname. The Multiplayer option is permanently greyed out in the options.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Play Donut County instead, it offers a very similar gameplay experience, but with added story, characters, and a completion experience that isn't grindy as hell.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I would like to have this game created for PC but its cheap port. 1920x1080 | no online multiplayer | party multiplayer works poorly. One good update can fix everything
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So Far on the steam deck, there is no multiplayer, and the single player is horrible. starts me by giant holes all around. I play games to have fun, this is not.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The version that was online as of last night was great. This version... The controls suck, and most of the stuff you EARNED in the website is DLC. I'm returning it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Funny concept, bad execution, horrible UI, DLC abuse. Game wants your money without even making the effort to be properly implemented and fun to play with.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You can't change your name or even effectively level up. Very few settings can be changed and now it shows multiplayer as disabled. Levels are very short and repetitive as well.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am going to keep this pretty straight to the point and hopefully it is received?? If you're looking for something that is just cheep and mind numbing and you actually don't care about winning the game then this would work but there are a ton of things wrong with the game from what I can see. I've played around 11 hours on this game and have found more cons than pros....is anyone working on this game to fix the broken parts for PC players? Helllo!!!! Us PC players are still here and wanting…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not what I expect to be. Aside from the free version that I always intrigue to play, this game are rather boring and unfair game with many locked contents. Just don't buy this game, you'll regret it
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game was so infuriating, ai opponents keep chasing you, the game is a buggy mess, and if you want to get all achievements, well, get ready to keep playing the same thing over and over again until you can max out all 4 power ups, of which each one costs 25k coins to upgrade to max level alone, while you can get only around 700 coins per run. I gave up after only maxing out the size. Only good thing about it is that if you have less than 2 hours on it, you can refund the game, which i would…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The only reason I got this was to get Bang On Balls cheaper. But, kinda fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Multiplayer not working,
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The games multiplayer is not working. So not really worth buying.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very lazy development. I love "in the hole" games, but this is one of the worst versions. VERY VERY VERY disappointing
============================================== "Why would you play a mobile game on your computer?" You might say I have a bad taste for playing a mediocre casual mobile game, but: there are no ads, period (I don't play mobile games…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I hate the time limit. It is just too short of a run.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I paid for it and should have waited. The graphics are not great and there are hardly any levels
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its a small game, funny and simple. But i will never play it again after i complete all achivements.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wish I knew it was not multiplayer online. That is my bad for not checking, but I assumed as I used to play on my phone and it was. I only paid $1 for it, so it is not a huge loss, but I wish it was online multiplayer.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'd give it a solid 6/10. For a port of a mobile game, it's fine. A bit buggy and repetitive, but that's to be expected. Got if for a dollar, so it's good enough for a rainy day at least.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In Hole io, you play as a hole in the ground that eats objects to get bigger. This seems to be the same as the mobile version of this game. This game is often compared with Donut County: both have the same general concept, but whereas Donut County offers more depth, story, polish, and shows more effort put into it, Hole io provides far more replay value. There are 6 levels in the base game and currently 9 DLCs. Only 1 level is initially accessible, and you have to use in-game currency (coins)…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is incredible how bad this game is, without even talking about the grindy achievements, some of which don't even unlock
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game has DLC, and the idea is not bad for a mass produced game... It appears to be abandoned as far as patches for long known bugs, which is sad... I recommend avoiding the endless mode until they patch it. The regular mode has lots of variety in maps and views, but it doesn't offer much long term replayability, which I suppose is fair for a game of this price. It would be nice if it had a few more options as far as increasing round length, or long term bonuses that accrue map to map instead…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So I am primarily marking this a not recommend.... with a nice big * next to it. Listen... the game is simple. You are hole. Swallow things. Don't get swallowed. Become an adult. Well maybe not that last part. Point is that the game is very "What you see is what you get". There's lots of worlds to play in which can mix up the simple and repeatitive game play. That being said... if you've played this on mobile.... just play it on mobile. That's the reason I don't recommend it. The game…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Idk why I spent money on this and I wish they didn't deny my refund. You can get the exact same, better game online for free. Plus, poorly designed for computers which steam is literally meant to run on.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →ps. I feel this whole following thing here is like the game Snake IO, or Hole IO, or one of the other IO games where as you go you become larger and larger and big eats small, lol.
unlabelledView post →Controls very sluggish, browser version is better, very disappointed Edit: I tried the endless mode, it's beyond retarded. You use the mouse move to a direction, the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ holes goes ANYWHERE BUT THAT DIRECTION, it's absurdly stupid, do not buy this piece of ♥♥♥♥
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hole io, developed by VOODOO and published on Steam by QubicGames and Gamersky Games, represents the studio’s transition from viral mobile phenomenon to a more traditional gaming platform. Known for simple yet immediately engaging mechanics, VOODOO specializes in accessible arcade concepts, and Hole io remains one of its most recognizable successes. The premise is straightforward—players control a growing black hole navigating an urban environment, absorbing objects, vehicles, structures, and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the Best party game. Easy to learn and you can play 30min with 3 other people. Nothing special nothing groundbreaking just fun. I hope there will be more DLC! PLS make a random generator for each field and we are happy. Or maybe a level designer...
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →really fun! especially to play with other people!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game makes time melt,. I quite enjoy it. Sometimes I wish my grandma would play it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hole.io is exactly what it sounds like—you control a hole, move around, and consume everything in sight. It’s an "io" game, so don’t expect much depth beyond that simple concept. There are two main modes: competing against bots and an endless mode where objects continuously spawn for you to swallow. The progression system lets you unlock new maps, upgrades, and hole borders using in-game coins, but the gameplay remains largely the same throughout. There’s also a fair share of glitchy…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game if you're trying to listen to a book/lecture. It's fun and braindead enough for you to multi-task
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Had a lot of fun with this one! Surprisingly addictive and a lot of content for the low price ^^
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just as fun as I remember when it was a browser game. Just trying to figure out how to change my name as I clicked something without paying attention and now I’m stuck as “Player” 🥲
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game if you want to kill some time. Kinda wish there was more time to the rounds so I could do the entire map
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not worth your time or money. While the game can be satisfying at the start it just becomes dull very quickly. In general It feels like a cheap mobile game with payed DLC that add's nothing to the content.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is easy to play and very satisfying. A great way to kill time while listening to podcasts and the like. I played the whole thing to death on my phone and was happy to find it on steam.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game until you try to 100% it. The last few achievements are just an absolutely stupid grind that turns the game into a chore. I liked it but spending hours doing the same thing over and over just to get a couple achievements killed it for me. Pointless grind.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For a dollar you can't lose.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game has not been updated in a long time. Just get the free version on your phone if you want to play it and don't bother giving them your money for this one.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This isn't the only game I've ever devoured, especially when it's an .io game. Tracking achievements can be a bit tricky, but I'm sure this format would be interesting for anyone who's played similar games before.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →to shot level time = hard to funny
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's fun for a few minutes here and there.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is the same thing as the game on your phone. The game is okay but I think the other players are bots because they are very easy to kill but I like this game for the achievement, I only played a little bit but maybe one day I will continue playing and get the remaining achievements.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is NOT multiplayer
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nowhere near as full featured as the mobile version, but not too bad for a few bucks...
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I originally saw my son playing this on his tablet... and thought, what a dumb game. Until he handed it to me, now i own it on every platform, and can't stop eating things as a giant hole! Do i want a sponsorship from the devs.... Hell yeah! Hit me up!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game gets bland real quick, -upgrades are limited and get extremely expensive too fast. -there are a few maps but their sizes are underwhelming. -some missions are just barely achievable, if you're lucky. -Achievements are a massive grind (mainly sticker collection and all upgrades) -Death achievements are broken.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a VERY cheap knock off of the Android/IOS FREE game Hole IO . i dont even think its the same developers . and its NOTHING like the App version . which has multiplayer Arena and the Levels and ways to win is completly different . I am NOT impressed with this at all . I was playing the mobile one and really loved it so I checked to see if it was also on steam as some mobile games are . i am VERY disappointed and i do not find that this game was worth $6 I do NOT recommend this AT ALL .
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →you are a hole eat everything that can fit and grow bigger to avoid being eaten. pro: si,mple controls, other worlds, achievements, and fun. Cons: no ability to change speed, - cannot change name from player -Short play round
