It starts easy, like a tutorial to learn where everything is and what actions I need to do, but the difficulty increases considerably. It's not a long game but you have to replay it a few times to avoid the death. This game combines it with narrative and some events. The atmosphere is great.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Setting of the game and the trailer seemed like it would be my type of game, played learning the ropes, all good until I died, and the game autosaves at the death screen. So you have to start over from scratch. Tried again (I manually turned on autosave to begin with) and turned autosave off, played for 15 minutes then went to main menu to save. No save option, I clicked continue and it took me back to my previous attempts deathscreen. Not going to waste my time doing the same tasks a third…

I'm losing track of the days... I'm afraid to sleep again... HELP ME! Also, the game it's fun to play if you enjoy stressful management and eerie stuff. 10/10 would die again in that lighthouse
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Could be a good game, but I'll never know, as I couldn't get past the frustrating and seemingly impossible resource management. It's just too hard. It feels like you'll have no chance of finishing this game if you stop or hesitate for even a split second, or don't do everything in exactly the most efficient way possible, and no matter what you're doing, there's the constant stress of 4 bars quickly depleting (all of which result in game over, start again from scratch). It's not challenging,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bugs aside, what kills this game for me is the balancing of resource management. for all the things you need to keep maintained and the fact you can only get fuel and spare parts to fix things once a week, the fact that weather can switch on a dime and the lighthouse system doesn't make sense for how lighthouses actually work. it's just all...off. I just get focused on keeping everything working, I don't have room to be scared.

Like a mysterious survival game, you go through daily routines that gradually reveal more intriguing secrets about the island. Without a doubt, things get more challenging over time, but you’ll find yourself hooked on the narrative rewards it offers. This game is highly recommended for those who enjoy single-player experiences that make you feel alone, surrounded by mysteries and discoveries…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I usually don't play games like this one. Well, I used to, but nowadays I don't really have time. I bought this game because of a friend's recommendation, and I must say I really don't understand how someone can make a game like this and sell it for such a low price. I mean, it's basically the price of a coffee, yet here you have a little piece of art, like a short, dark novel in a pocket-size book, with wonderful sound design that gives me flashbacks to the old brick Game Boy. It's a really…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun side scrolling resource management game with just the right does of urgency, challenges, and strategy. Each run through feels correctly balanced for how your skills grow throughout the game. The horror is subtle and building. A really nice game and I recommend it to any pixel loving, eldritch horror fan. Be warned that at the time of writing this, the bugs still need to get worked out.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a small yet interesting management game in which you learn how to optimize tasks as events unfold gradually revealing the story behind the lighthouse. Spend a few minutes at the start reading the manual as it will greatly help! And don't forget to explore the back of the boat.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was so pleased to have finally found the job for me, as a lighthouse keeper, in a small isle in Scotland. I was due to start next week, I had already said goodbye to all my family, purchased a tamagochi for company, and beer to keep warm. I then played this game. I have since cancelled my contract, returned the tamagochi and drank all the beer. Good game, btw, probably saved my life, or at least my mind.

unlabelledView post →Going through my inbox today and spotted a press release for a small studio game that I immediately had to check out called Little Lighthouse of Horror. OMG, this game looks right up my alley and of course I smashed the wishlist on Steam button. It's out on Jan 28th. Can't wait!

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simple, fun, nice, well made. That's a nice once!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very interesting and small proposal with beautiful pixel art. If you enjoy tension and that classic atmosphere from H.P. Lovecraft's stories, this game combines that narrative with resource management and exploration. I love it when games are small and don’t require so many hours :D
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great Experience
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Little Lighthouse of Horror masterfully blends psychological horror with resource management, creating a tense and immersive experience. The pixel art style and eerie 1920s setting pull you into its unsettling world, while the creeping sense of isolation keeps you on edge. Every choice matters, leading to multiple endings that add replay value
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very nice creepy-cute pixel art game! Even though it may seem simple, it get engaging and hipnotizing. Love its vibe! It may still need some polishing (small visual glitches and bugs), but really promising little indie game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game does a great job of making you feel the creeping dread of being alone on a desolate island. You’ll have to manage food, fuel, and your sanity while strange whispers and visions make you question what’s real. The pixel-art style and atmospheric sound design really add to the eerie vibe, making every night feel more unsettling than the last.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Awesome little game fun and engaging cant wait to spend more time with it

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is automatically put in Spanish whenever i press continue even though i keep changing it back to English
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Once you figure out all stats have the same mechanical setup, it becomes a fun game. You don't have to keep everything at max. It's actually fine to neglect some things in favour of others. Then you can have the story take you places and enjoy some great art work and atmosphere. EDIT: Small addition after finishing. Keep in mind, unless you're going achievement hunting or want to see everything this game is rather short.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Video Review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NiSbSfPFvJg This is a great little psychological horror experience. Inexpensive, multiple endings based on how you play, and the management /survival aspect alone is a fun little loop.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun and original resource management adventure with Lovecraftian mistery and horror elements.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Woo! I compleated "Little Lighthouse of Horror!" I don't know if there's multiple endings, but that seemed like a 'good' ending. so Woo!! It's a really fun game, and absoloutely worth picking up :D www.twitch.tv/videos/23941...
unlabelledView post →Cool concept but it needs polishment. Like please add audio and gamepad settings. Picking stuff up feels unsmooth and i had several bugs. If you get supplies from the ship and take too long and talk with the guy the ship just drives off and you fall to death. And I had a bug where I frooze and couldt move. it was triggered from the axe and wood lying on the same spot and trying to pick it up i guess.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has a great premise, and I'm overall liking the experience of playing, but I'm really not sure what I'm doing wrong, when should the lighthouse be lit, or what is special about having the two white lines of fuel on. Also, the boat brought three tools, which definitely got me in the wrong path. I'll certainly keep playing, for maybe I didn't do things right, and because the history has me hooked so far, but the game needs a tad of polishing.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great atmosphere, great art, and the mechanics are engaging. At this price, it's a crime not to buy it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game! Vibes are amazing and the story is interesting and hooks you from the beginning. Recommended!

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A resource management videogame with a nice dark pixel art theme, a good atmosphere and easy to understand but demanding. Remember that you have the "G" key to open the information book.
