The resource gathering continues when the game is closed so you come back the next day and spend them where you see fit. I like the sci-fi setting and the humour, I like the whole idea of space octopus that are bored and lazy :) At the time of this review I have 16…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lazy Galaxy is fundamentally an idle clicker game, but one packed with fun features like base building, useful achievements and research, simplified space combat, item crafting... and candy (eye-candy included). I find myself returning to it on a regular basis to craft a little more, upgrade a little more... All in all, it features all the addictiveness of a well thought-out casual game, for a very reasonable price.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's always tricky to rate an Idler game -a game that you are supposed not to play and yet get fun from it. Some Idlers ask you too much involvement so that you can let them be played in the background. Lazy Galaxy goes in the opposite extreme. It asks you very little but... does it do much by itself? Pros + The overall theme is fun. + The game is not too addictive. + There are a lots of automatized functions. + It features three levels of 'restart' (that I know of at least). + The progress is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's all good and funny what's there but I feel the content is lacking somewhat. Selection of ships? Not necessary I just pick the strongest. Prestige upgrades? But a handful. Recipes and cooking? An afterthought. Remember, he best idle games are out there for free.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My first "clicker" game. Nice sci-fi theme with a very retro feel in it's humour. Excellent appeal to anyone OCD and/or collector types who enjoy building, large numbers and/or octopi. There is enough depth here to keep one interested and participate in active play, and with resource management continuing when "offline" the game lacks any real sense of pressure. There are currently 125 in game achivements and all steam based achivements seem to function properly (given steam stat %'s) making…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Conquer the galaxy as a mighty race of space octopus! Well, FOR a lazy race of space octopus - but they have a desire for conquest! It's primarily an idle game, but the progression is much faster than your average idler. The RTS aspect almost feels a little too fast and crazy at first, but once you begin using the pause button and start becoming a little more involved, it's actually pretty rewarding. The most basic ships are some of the worst at auto combat, but are extremely manueverable when…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Do you like clicking on asteroids? Upgrading buildings? Good, because along with the ship battles, that's the entire game. There's nothing else to do but click on the rocks so you can upgrade buildings and go to another ship battle. It's okay for a few minutes, but there's not really much game here.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sadly, this game doesn't quite land. It has a bunch of really cool ideas, but they're all too under-developed to hang together. I didn't unlock anything of interest in the latter half of my playtime. I liked the game enough that I pressed on, and even CE'd the game to 20x speed just to see if there was anything new within reach, but nope. I made some fun out of finding the OP ship setups, but that's about it. I really wish I could suggest this one, but I can't :(
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a great idle clicker game for the desktop. Pump up your economy, spawn ships for automated battles, earn buffs for both your economy and military, then start all over retaining those buffs. The end result is a game of optimizing numbers and growth. If you like this type of game, it's a lot of fun. The "retro" graphics add to the atmosphere of automating and a 1980s arcade game. Two thumbs up for the genre. There are plenty of ways to grow over time, and growth is somewhat smooth…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wish we had options other than Yes/No. Clearly I enjoyed the game. Steam reports I've got 250 ish hours into it. A lot of that is sitting idle until I figured out I should cheat. Except it wasn't cheating. The developers figured out the simple change your computers time trick and programmed it into the game. That's where things went from good to meh. Going in, this was a good idle clicker. Sure there are tricks to learn and learning them is part of the fun. If your goal is to defeat…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its a decent clicker / idle game. Could use more content for the price of the game, like more ships, planets giving a bonuses, different loot items, more skills, more RTS to do, etc. Until more content is added, i would wait till the game is on sale to purchase
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I can’t recommend this game enough! Active and concerned developers who listen to your requests and quickly fix bugs, a small but very friendly and growing community on Discord, and, of course I’ve saved whats probably the most important to the reader of this review for last: The game is super fun (Especially if you like idle games) Its very addictive (Try not to bust your mouse from clicking too fast) Definitelly worth the price. Hours of content. Must buy!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game as it is now, isn't great. The gameplay is hilariously lopsided and the included 'RTS' is more fishbowl than RTS. It might get better, it probably won't. Any idle game that fails to draw people in for hundreds of hours at a time should have been fairly telling.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fresh genre mix-up. Decent graphics. Fun gameplay. Workshop support. Devs seem pretty reactive to community questions and feedback.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lazy galaxy is a well thought out idler / clicker with a solid base and pathing choices akin to realm grinder and similar titles. Progress is as is with such titles, meaning fast paced at the start, slowing down as it plateaus, but the RTS mechanics (minigame mode) are fun enough to kill the time should you play this actively. Currently hoping this gets expanded exponentially and as is has a bright future.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An interesting semi-idle clicker with novel mechanics. The dev is really active and keeps adding new stuff that changes up the game in hugely positive ways. I'm really looking forward to how it grows! Perhaps it'll end up being an unfolding clicker with an end-state? Making you travel to the center of the universe, for example, could be an attractive goal.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's pretty good. Progression is not too slow, so it feels rewarding. The sprites are pretty. It's fun. For that price, it's a good deal.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →finished Lazy Galaxy, by Coldwild Games decent idle game with light RTS elements, nothing special but good to waste a couple of hours
unlabelledView post →74 hours over about five weeks, and it was going well. Then I had a system crash while it was running, and when I next started the game, it showed my "While you were away" gains, and *also* played the opening sequence, and hard-reset all my progress. It's as good a time to stop as any, I guess. negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A nice idle game overall. Starship battles are a welcome addition to the usual formula. Liked the Space Oven mechanic where you can cook ingredients for permanent bonuses. Easy enough achievements (in-game and Steam) to complete without insane grind. UI and UX could have been improved, as some of the game mechanics are not apparent or not that well explained (some of the current tasks or star system mechanic for example).
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the game feels empty and repettitive, little appeal. i wish i did not buy it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Progress is way too fast, especially for a game that emphasizes offline progress, yet you rarely see anything new. Mostly rigmarole.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love this game, you can choose to be either really active, or less active, and yet u can still progress greatly either way! Its well worth the money!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A next level clicker game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's an idle game, or perhaps you know it as a clicker game. If you don't know what that is, don't buy this, google a couple free ones and make sure you actually like this genre. It's not for everyone. If you are a fan of idle games then what I've played so far looks excellent. This game seems very promising. Don't be shy about watching a bit of gameplay on Youtube if you're on the fence on this one.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its Lazy, its okay, fast completiotion, price is fair. For Idle Lovers.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cheat engine - Speed Hack - Good Game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just a nice, cheap time sink, even if it advertises itself as a clicker game mixed with strategy, it´s mostly just a clicker with some strategy flavor to it. really addictive for what it is but runs out of new content somewhat fast, nonetheless I put over 30 hours in this game without even realizing, so that content might have been just enough Given it´s cheap price it´s a really worthwhile purchase as long as you want some clicker to look at some progress bars filling up for a while, for a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Take control of hostile race of evolved octopuses and lead them to conquer galaxies and expand their technology. They will work towards set goals even if you turned off the game. You can choose yourself how much you want to automate the process and how much you want to control directly.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played in for an hour, put it away for a few days, came back 4 days later, and got an achievement for being away. It's games like this that make me get up in the afternoon and come online to play on Steam. Solid thumbs up. Pluses: there is a Steam Workshop so you can build your own spaceships and items. (Items are like Space Milk and Space Eggs and Space Flour, which you put into your Space Oven which is presumably in your Space Kitchen, but the Space Town Guard doesn't care if someone…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have mixed feelings about this game. There are a lot of things I love about it. But I'm going to talk about the biggest issue: the math is terrible. The cost and production of a lot of the buildings doesn't make any sense. The progression isn't gradual enough to be satisfying and maxes out quite quickly. I'm still giving it a positive review because overall, I enjoyed it. I just wish the math was better so that upgrades felt worthwhile and it was better suited for long-term play.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →nifty, however same ol sitch when it comes to clicker style, resetable games. Good for a few rotations until I realized i was doing the same thing over and over and walking away. id recommend if it were free, but even for the few bucks it seems pretty unoriginal in theory.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Perfect for idle gameplay. I'm not always up to using my brain in a difficult game such as Civ 6 or GTA. Lazy Galaxy is the perfect game to enjoy time on the computer without worrying too much. A very nice and funny vacation.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i've been with this game since even before it went into Early Access, and I've liked it since the very beginning. The gameplay hits right home for me, and it's overall a pretty unique game. It was my first idle clicker game, and I'd say the best I've played so far. There's a lot to do when you start the game, definitely takes at least 24 hours of VERY ACTIVE gameplay to get to NG+ - took me many days since I was focusing on unlocking all achievements first -, so I believe the price is…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really like this game but can not recommend it. Why? Because it is bugged at late game and not fixed last 2 weeks. Game CRASH ALWAYS when you want to upgrade anything what costs more than e300. It is very annyoing when I want to progress and can not because of this bug. I tried on 2 desktop computers and 1 laptop. I reinstalled game and tried different build - nothing helped. I uninslatted this game and will not come back because I informed dev on stream about this issue and it is still not…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quite a lot of content for an early access game, graphics are lovely and gameplay is much more fun than you would expect from an "idle" game. My only complaint is that progression might just be a bit *too fast* so you don't get to do something else as much as you'd expect. But that's certainly better than having nothing to do when you're bored.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lazy Galaxy Time Played: 12.2 Hours Last Played: 15th of January, 2026 With no Terraria 1.4.5 Release date announced yet, and me still deep into Garden Galaxy's last achievements, I thought humour would be had in playing 2 idle-adjacent games with “Galaxy” in their name. Of note is that this was the 11th game played while waiting for the update, I was simply able to try Miniland Adventure in-between this, and the 13th volume of that period. Yay: + Upgrades are unlocked via in-game…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. There are many idlers out there. Don't waste your time and money with this.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lazy Galaxy is an idle clicker space game. This game is quite unique, it's a mix of a ton of genres. It's a space combat game, with base building, with RTS combat, it's a clicker and an idle game as well! Now, I wasn't particularly a fan of this game, but it definitely has potential. I'm sure that the second game in the series if better, but this one was fun for a few hours before it came repetitive. The graphics are okay, the music is good but there are only 2 or 3 tracks, there isn't really…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you cant tell this is not the most awesome game in the world. It wont keep you at the edge of your seat. It will however make your day go by faster. The games title should be enough to tell you this is the kinda of game you play while watching tv/youtube. The story is short lazily made but still provides a chuckle. If your looking for a chill stream that doesn't stick to one game check me out at https://www.twitch.tv/justthepassenger !
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lazy Galaxy is different from any game I have ever played. It manages to perfectly combine RTS and clicker elements, along with an awesome artstyle. This is a game that isn't a complex game, and is very laid back- a perfect "Just got home from school/work" game. This game also knows that it is one of those wacky games, in that the story is, in a good way, silly. 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fairly shallow, but I had fun. Not very rewarding after a few times through the core loop. Worth checking out.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simple but fun idle game. Could use some more recipes and/or an easier way to make more recipes at a time (limit is 2 at a time with a que of 6 in total) but it's been keeping me entertained for a couple months now
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Early summary, Lazy Galaxy is a short but fun game worth the price. It has more potential than content, but I'm willing to give it a lot more leeway since the Dev is active and it's their first attempt at a clicker or an RTS. As a clicker, I feel its an interesting enough game. While Lazy Galaxy does have a lot of the mechanics I enjoyed in Realm Grinder, I feel like it lacked a lot of the depth of choice that Realm Grinder had. You have mostly 3 choices on any particular run, your buildings,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game has nice ideas and overall presentation, but is just too shallow for the tag price in my opinion. The fact that the game felt unfinished past the first 15-20 hours and the devs teased their new game without any updates to this one feels a bit sour, There are better clickers out there for free
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i am idleist and this is wowwow
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lazy... pretty much sums it up. Clicker games are pretty straight forward. You click. Generally anywhere. Bam... best game manual ever. Three pages at most if you include credits. But as the times have progressed, clicker games have evolved too. Now you can do fancy things like... click a power that clicks for you for about 30 seconds, or give you criticals for 15 seconds, or makes your screen a convulsive putrid mix of colors for 20 seconds. Or pay them extra money for a feature that…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Repetitive, even for an idle game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →More than worth the price as-is; looking forward to seeing what they add to it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have played Lazy Galaxy since the first day it was released in EA. It is still very fun to play and it rapidly improves. My favorite part about Lazy Galaxy is gathering resources and researching new abilities for my inter-planetary civilisation. The battles are ok, too, but they are very easy if you develop on a planet to the point when you can get ships so many times more powerful than the enemy. Overall I'm very happy with Lazy Galaxy. Can't wait to see how the game evolves!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really enjoyable clicker game with very nice background music. There are some issues getting around how to manage your fleet, but once you get into that, battles seem much more fun. Storyline itself isn't very original, but that's a no big deal I guess. Definitely would recommend to clicker game fans.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Intrigued, but in the end too much clicking. Giving it a positive review because in the clicker/idle game category, which is not for me, it's amazing. Did refund though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is very addictive, cheap and fun. I strongly recommend this game if you like clickers/ idle games. It has an RTS twist with space battles, where you can command your ships.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun rogue-like that's simple to play and doesn't take too much of your time. It does get repetitive but you can also leave it alone and it will continue to harvest resources for you when you're offline so the grindy stuff doesn't have to be quite so bad. The space combat is quite simplistic and as another reviewer pointed out, the tactical stuff available for you to use during the real-time battle segments is basically wasted since you can't really use them productively. At 16 hours I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game 12: Lazy Galaxy (2017 | Coldwild Games | PC) A pleasant enough idle clicker with RTS elements that doesn't do enough with either side of the equation. I had a good time optimizing my octopus army's conquest of the stars, but have no intention to find out if there is any meat to the post game
unlabelledView post →Just a bunch of nonsense.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I rarely play idle strategies but this game really got me. Very easy to play, lots of fun. Basically you build up a base and then go offline, and the resources pile up by themselves. The problematic thing is switching between star systems, which forces you to start building your base from anew. While this prevents you from piling up infinite resources and infinitely powerful ships, it can also be quite frustrating, especially when you had powerful ships in your previous system. It could also…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really enjoyable semi-idle game. There's not an overwhelming amount of things to do in this game, but what is there is well done.
