Earth has somehow been destroyed and you and your ship are all that’s left. Your job is to find another, hospitable planet and re-establish the human race there. Along the way you’ll need to stop on barren planets to collect fuel as well as collect life from other planets to terraform your new home. Perhaps you’ll even find some other survivors along the way. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was torn on whether to give a positive or negative vote to this game. While I did have good fun, it only lasted for the hour or so it took me to complete the first 4 maps, which are pretty similar to each other. The other 2 hours of gameplay were from trying over and over, and repeatedly failing, to complete the game's fifth and last map, which is absolutely frustrating. The difficulty curve in this game is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up you might as well call it non-existent. The first level is a bit hard…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A nice little exploration game. Hop from planet to planet, avoid obstacles, gather reasources, and reach the objective. It's simple, straightforward, requires a bit of skill and finesse but is very calming. It's a great game for sitting back and relaxing. There's not a vast quantity of content, and is probably good for a couple of hours total here and there. That said, the sub-$5 price tag is just right, I think the $4 I spent was a good deal.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Last Horizon is a graceful 2D arcade game with gentle resource management strategy. It's simple and repetitive, but in a way that's compulsive - like the better arcade games of the 80s. As you head to your new home, you consume fuel, oxygen and (if you keep bashing into things) hull integrity. To replace these resources, you find a planet and land on it anywhere safe. But the planet's resources are finite and allocated at random, so you might not be able to fill all three things to the top.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game's screenshots look beautiful. However, there is an engine bug that happened somewhere in 2016, and devs cannot fix it. The game currently looks like this on launch : http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1103393861 Quoting the dev : "Hey all, some bad news on this... looks like it's caused by the actual engine we are using (GameMaker) and we have no control over it... and getting them to address things like this is highly unlikely unless it affects all games made with…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →-Watched Draegast play this. -Got it myself. -Found planets. -Mined resources. -Landed perfectly. -"Leaf on the Wind" -Got killed by hostile lifeforms. 11/10, Would reenact most heartbreaking scene in Serenity again. </3 In seriousness, this is a rock-solid and simple game that feels like a highly evolved form of Lunar Lander; a game I've been looking for - guess what - a highly evolved form of for some time. I love how the gravity fields are different on each rock, and that the landscapes…

I really sucked at the game which didnt help the cause. In the game you somehow manage to be the last human or well robot thing left and then you have to make your way to other planets sucking them of resources. There are also terraformed planets in which you can suck all their resources and watch that planet crumble too.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Excellent game! Reminds me of Out There, although the gameplay is very different, the atmosphere feels the same.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Thank you to the devs for sending me this game! First off I would like to say I like the concept and art style. The music is very calming and the concept is very intuitive. The gameplay is fairly good, but I could not seem to figure out how to properly land the ship without making it go on fire... which made this game very difficult. Would be more fun and easier if there was a better way to land (unless I missed something). 6/10

So, my dear astronauts - take control of your spaceship and find our next home! Last Horizon is an action/exploration game where you take control of a spaceship which has the capability to terraform ecosystems so when you reach your new home you will have all necessary resources for the human race. However, before you get there you will need to make…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Last Horizon is a fun if brief space exploration game with some very fun uses of gravity. Your world has been destroyed and you need to move to a new planet hopefully picking up life forms, other surviving humans, and avoid hostile aliens along the way. Unfortunately your fragile ship doesnt have the fuel or oxygen to do so and your forced to make many pit stops on random planets along the way. All have different gravitational pulls so landing can frequently be a bit hair raising especially…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm really sorry to write a negative review for this game, but here are the reasons: Pro: - I love Pixeljam Games - the graphics are beautiful - the game mechanic is simple, yet challenging - there is a port for Android that is slightly cheaper, and apart from controls essentially the same (phone newer than S3 recommended, otherwise is slows considerably when many objects are being rednered - BUT as I said it's Android and just a side note here) Con: - very very little content, even für a 5…

Leaving a dying planet as the last survivor, the player needs to find it's way to a new habitable planet, to start a new colony and a new civilization. Along the way the player will need to pay attention to several aspects, in particular to the fuel and the oxygen levels. Of course there will be also other dangers that range from asteroids to hostile civilizations. In order to survive the player will have to find planets…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very basic game, asteroids has more complicated controls. You are a little ship that can only thrust, turn left and turn right, nothing else at all. The game itself consists of leaving a dead world and colonizing a new world which is one particular planet you must reach at the end of the level. Your ship has fuel, oxygen and a hull. If any of these get to 0 you die, you can replenish these by landing on planets with the right materials where most planets have all three in at least small…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sonic Frontiers: Base game is legitimately a 9.5/10. Played it on hard so that I could fight the secret boss. Will be doing Last Horizon on Easy. Since it doesn't do that. Also it totally set up: -a solo Tails game -a solo Knuckles game -an Amy/Cream/Sticks game Sega pls give these
unlabelledView post →I flew through asteroid belts. I sucked planets dry. I drowned in oceans. I got spegghatified by blackholes. I pissed off aliens. I saved the human race. 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's so annoying to land safely on the planets, just the slightest tap on the planet, BOOM...game over. what's most frustrating I managed to land safely on several planets but it only takes one slight aggressive tap forward or you hitting a mountain on a planet due to not being able to slow down and maneuver around it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Last Horizon feels like an incomplete game/experiment but is not marked as such. I had trouble getting the resolution to work correctly. At first the game was a fullscreen window where almost everything was cut off and in the corner, I later discovered you can press "F" to switch the game to fullscreen. Since the part of the menu that shows the keys was cutoff I had to discover this by trial and error. There is no other way to set the resolution if it doesn't set correctly. Unfortunately the…

In order to do this you will have to discover a habitable planet, colonize it and redevelop your civilization. Throughout this journey you will be required to accomplish mini objectives that come in the form of discovering, mining and collecting life and resources from other planets in order to terraform your new base planet. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very cool little game, calming music (which is very welcome at times), neat art style. A simple theme which turns out can be quite tough. Random moments can easily mess up a whole game. During the last game I played on my stream tonight a comet clipped me as I took off and sent me spinning into a black hole. I havea feeling a lot more time will be thrown at this both onpc and on my phone.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Last Horizon is a colorful fun space exploration game. Flying through space at first seems impossible but with a little practice it can become easy and quite fun. For $4.99 this is a great game for your money. Heres my pros and cons list for the game, many of the cons are things I want added to the game in the future and I expect some of them will. Pros: -Beautiful simple graphics -Controls are simple (both pc and mobile) -Only challenging to an extent that can be overcome with a little…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Summary: Not worth the pricing without discount. Game is short and 'simple' where you fly from/to planets to get resources until you reach the last planet. However 'simple' is a relative term, for me, it is simple to learn/play and nightmarish to survive as I progress in the game. Overall, for a price less than a cup of tea, then yes, thumbs up as it is fun while it lasted. Pros: +Dirt cheap during sales +Simple game play with a linear goal (go from A to Z and don't die) to get anyone start…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well. Since i couldnt make screenshot function work i guess i'll write mini review. It is a simple and short game but fun at the same time. Also i said simple though it's rather hard due to landing mechanics. It's very tricky to land without damaging your ship especially when you're in a hurry to get that precious air/you're being attacked by purple aliens/or you're just simply being baked by beautiful sun that is way too close to your place of landing. Overall you can master that skill with…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →5 dollar price tag is a bit high but the game iitself is good. More of an mellow experience but one I can get lost in for quite a bit of time nonetheless. I would recommend this title to anyone looking to play a relaxing game but maybe wait for a sale
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game is great, but you now what would be greater? a free rome mode.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Interesting and unique game! The main premise is carefully landing on planets as hop spots to get to another inhabitable planet. Your new "home". Along the way you collect resources to bring to the new planet. It has interesting physics related to space travel and gravity that take some getting used to. I will definitely be playing more of this game. It's sort of a cross between cosmochoria and lunar lander - with it's own little thing going on. Enjoy my first impressions in this video:…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Follow our [url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/36214917/]Curator Group for more reviews Last Horizon is a space exploration game where you travel between planets collecting resources and avoiding crashes. It's intended to be a relaxing, low complexity type of game. There isn't very much to the game, so it is difficult to criticize on a mechanical level. It became boring to me fairly early on, but this will largely come down to personal preference. I tentatively recommend it to anyone…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little game at a good price. Also available for free on coolmathgames.com
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As another review said, first level is challenging because you don't know how the game works, then three levels of easy casual. This took me about ~30 minutes to beat. And then the last level is a exercise in frustration. It's not hard, it's annoying and a massive difficulty spike. You can end up in a situation where the random planet generation doesn't give you any planets to land on so you die with no way out (happened several times). You can land on the final destination, only to be blown…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wanted to enjoy this but it just gave me frustration to the point of giving up. Maybe the first level could have been more peaceful to introduce people to the game, or shorter, I don't know. Being repeatedly killed by hard-to see black holes, errant rocks or other disasters is not a good time if you're not invested in the game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A short but cute game about sending a little ship into outer space in search of a new habitable world. Avoid gravity wells and black holes, and make moral choices about taking what you need, or harvesting everything.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I hate to say it but its not even worth the price, which is absurdly low.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →GOOD GAME the price is so off it should be £10 :P
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You float, you collect things and you float some more. Space is vast, but this is empty in all the wrong ways.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A small game, pretty fun, It took me about 9 hours to get all the achievements. Would recommend if you bored or like space :p
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →impossible to land "safely"
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What I thought I was getting: Asteroids + Orbt XL What I actually got: Asteroids + an unfunny Getting Over It.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played Lander (1990) back in the day. In it, you had to careful land your lunar module based on a number of factors and limited by fuel. Last Horizon is basically the same game except you pilot a ship through space and you land and take off a bunch of times. Unfortunately, the landings suck compared to those in Lander. They're about dodging moons and the approach to the planet, not about aligning yourself to the ground and carefully managing your velocities. With the core gameplay lacking,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →aight how come i bought this for 5 dollars but then i see it on coolmath games for free
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a nice game, but it's way too unforgiving. I don't mind a challenge, but I'd also like to be able to have some kind of casual mode where I am actually able to finish a level without the need to be 100% focused, with no right to error, for half an hour.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Last Horizon is a nice calm game that can help you wind down (from other games) and is definitly worth the $5. It's a little too short and repetitive but I enjoyed it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I rarely play this type of game mainly because I get bored and tired of the steep learning curve. The instructions to play the game is pretty clear, but hard to master. Even after successfully landing several times, I can still mess up landing. After a few more tries, I got the gist of the game and I can say the game is fun. It's simple (minimalistic to quote) and offers varying difficulty in terms of how the game progress and actually performing tasks in the game. Yes, it is easy to say you…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It only took me a few minutes before I realized this game would have a special place in my heart. The gameplay is simple, but addictive and fun. There is a distinct feeling of exploration within an open world, despite having a linear destination. There are only a limited number of levels to play (at the moment), and although they are only slightly different from each other, they are quite fun with a surprising amount of replay value. Best money I've spent in a while. I recommend it without…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A charming little game which gets pretty good mileage out of some very simple mechanics.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hmmm... 7 minutes play time and I'm bored already.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Too difficult. Repetitive.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What game hurt you and why was it Sonic Frontiers: Last Horizon DLC???????
unlabelledView post →Last Horizon is a basic demo/game attempt bashed out very quickly and lazily by Pixeljam, using the garbage quality GameMaker construction kit. It's a basic hybrid SpaceWar!/Moon Lander game with a couple of basic stats (oxygen/fuel). Gameplay consists of flying around and and landing on planetoids in a Moon Lander style. This is a godawful non-game that was pumped out by the "developers" to see how quickly they could dump a cash grab into game bundles and onto Steam. There's little in…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little lander game. 5 stages with increasing difficulty, feels polished and simple throughout.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is nice and a little plain space exploration game. You need three buttons only. Left, Right and acclelerate. The space is full of planets, black holes, meteor swarms, civilizations and a lot of empty space. You have to take care of resources like oxygen, fuel and ore to repair the ship. That is way it is necessary to land on planets and replenish resources. You need to harvest them sometimes to bring the biology systems to your final planet. The game is easy in the beginning only but as soon…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Basically, it's the old classic "Lunar Lander" combined with "Out There" (Out There is a superb minimalist space exploration game which is also worth your time, like a super-stripped down FTL or SC2). You hop across the solar system from planet to planet, having to land on each to refuel, repair, and pick up ecosystems for your future home planet. Along the way, you dodge meteors, black holes, space debris, and other oddities. You don't have any weapons, so the gameplay is all avoidance…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute little roguelike game of space exploration. Quite challenging but with super smooth controls. Great visuals. Music on par with the atmosphere of the game. I highly recommend! PS. If a dev sees this it would be lovely to have a volume control other than just on/off ;)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Last Horizon is my go-to game when I've had a long day and just want to play something for 15 minutes or so and have a reasonable chance of winning. It's calming and restful and relaxing and still gives me a feeling of accomplishment when I land my ship on the final planet with all five goals set. I could see how this would become a grinder game (if you are pushing for maximum score by landing on every planet). But if you are just wanting to play something easy-going, this one is your pick.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The concept of this game is great. I picked up on what I needed to do very quickly and blazed through all the levels except the last one. Which is exactly my problem with this game. The learning curve is almost non-existent, the majority of the game is straight forward until you get to the last level which is nearly impossible. I feel like there is potential here for a great game, but it's either too short or doesn't ramp up in difficulty enough.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game! Very smooth gameplay with a learning curve, more fun than No Man's Sky.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Kinda short for 5 euros.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Artsy and very creative. Good as a proof of concept as there isn't much gameplay (~30 min.). The mechanics are not well tuned (like playing bumper cars trying to land your ship). Fun as a brief diversion if you liked Solar 2 (that game where you became a black hole) but only worth $1-$2 due to the veryyyy short gameplay. Rated 3 out of 5 planets.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think I am not coordinated enough to pull this game off. It is a cute little game, but I just die constantly. It has some nice elements and works well.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i came to explore the universe and found only anger issues.... good game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its a decent game. Collecting all the ecosystems, landing on planets, trying to get the max score. The story is also pretty good. I'm mostly saying recommended because of its cheap price. Sometimes I'm annoyed by how easy it is to die and it usually feeling out of your control. Once you've played enough and got use to the mechanics of landing and turning the only way you can die is just ending up in a situation you can't avoid. Sometimes I'll be navigating around after already collecting…
